Promotional postcard from Providence, RI rock club The Last Call, September 1994.

More radio station mail, this time from a postcard from a club I drove down to every once in awhile. Since Providence is only about an hour’s drive from Boston, it was always a good option to head down there to see bands, especially when there were two good gigs happening the same night in Boston and you wanted to be able to catch both. Plus, Providence is smaller and the crowds tended to be as well, a welcome situation when the headliner was a good draw.

Notable gigs include: Peter Jefferies playing with fellow NZers Trash, the “Providence debut” of Seana from Swirlies’ new band Syrup, and Stereolab (always).

My take on the “Mark of the Beast.”

In our younger years at church, we were told the “mark” would be accepting Sunday over Saturday as the true Sabbath. No one said that that teaching was wrong. #Revelation #NoPhysicalJesus

We’ve had Spiritual Jesus this entire time, since those sermons guest pastors would preach. They would say, “you all are to have your own journeys with Jesus before baptism.” Again, apparently I was the only one really taking everything in & paying attention.

I’ve never had my own journey with Jesus before I baptized, like these pastors said we were to have before baptizing. I was baptized at the age of 12. I remember letting my parents know at the time that I wanted to live my life, before I got serious spiritually. (Something also happened there, that I don’t know about. Simply because I was a child.) I also was born in truth. I’ve been “churching” for real my entire life. So, why not? There were also teachings then about “listening to your parents.” Yes, I was basically forced.

In retrospect, that “mark” was what comes from SELF. #7DeadlySins

You may not have known what it entailed entirely, but… you all knew. That was to those of you who knew. Earth is too DIRTY for Jesus’ presence physically. I’ve also mentioned how God can do whatever THE FUCK He wants to do, since he created this world. On all things Alpha & OMEGA.

Jesus said to me once, “Please, I don’t want to judge them. Try your best to help them all understand.” He also told me to, “Trust MY feelings.”

To the people who’ve tried to steal my history: Are you back?? Do you know who you are now?? What’s your name? Where you come from? What’s your origin? You still think you’re me?? Hmm.. 🤔🤨

Then! Most of you who were born of TRUTH made DUMBER decisions because you’ve found out where you’re going, or you didn’t like what was happening, &/or the commandments were flopped in your head. We’ve learned them. We’ve learned many reasons WHY to plenty of things at our church. Everyone wasn’t blessed like we were to get the WHY to everything. AND! I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ASKS WHY TO EVERYTHING. That’s why you all will be part of the population sample going to the sun. We need the data. Duh!

Let us not forget, The Holy Spirit reveals all to those who are worthy. 💢
