Joey Ramone at his best performing 'The kkk took my baby away' with the Ramones in their 1981 film clip. The song was supposedly written by Joey about guitarist from the Ramones, Johnny Ramone, stealing his girlfriend, Linda, who Johnny went on to marry several years later. This caused a rift in the Ramones causing the 2 only original members to not speak for 20 years (despite staying together and releasing albums), till the day Joey died in 2001. Overwhelmed with guilt after his death, it is said that Johnny had a heavey heart untill his death in 2004 due to the 2 never making up.
