Despite previously being reluctant beforehand, the Commander considered his prompting for more information. Again, her mind reeled into the past as she remembered the visits to Mallana's grave and the conversations between her and Tursidhion to try to form some form of agreement. But all that resulted from it was his loss of humanity.

"He… once went by the name Tursidhion Felo'melorn. I know he associated me to his dead wife, Mallana. Back when he didn't surrender himself to power. Personally, I can't say if he ever wanted to be saved."

Her focus was ahead as the ruptured earth from the Tainted Scar continued to stretch for a while before reaching Eversong Woods. She was aware the dead continued to fester beneath her feet and had hoped they would continue their slumber below. When he referred to the Shadowy plague, she had been aware of such happenings and gave a slow nod to it. But she couldn't really make much commentary on that either as it was an elaborate orchestration of subterfuge and chaos.

The sound nearby drew the Commander's focus which halted her progression momentarily. How long had that demon been around? And here the woman thought the Sorceress was the devil incarnate. Gradually, her feet would begin to move again as to keep pace with their destination.

To his follow-up inquiry, she gave him an incredulous look. Sure, she had understandings of the behaviors of the Sanguine Sorceress. But to know her mind? That nearly forced a chuckle to rise, which she instead made an incredulous face to him.

"I haven't the faintest idea. What I can guess is that she doesn't take kindly to being known or pursued by me. It's not like we have conversations and if we did, do you think she would be willing to share? You already saw how my theatrics turned out back at the altar. But… truthfully, it's probably an inconvenience to her more than anything."

Again, another heavy sigh was released as she glanced down to that mended hand of hers. Plated fingers folded in over it as she closed her eyes for a moment and still thought on the drunken plan she had embarked on. Whether or not the Juggernaut continued to haunt the woods of the Ghostlands was unknown to her, as she thought on his command over frost and death.

"If you do find yourself crossing paths with either," she began before lifting her head and opening her eyes. "I might advise a word of caution. I don't know how many have been foolish to confront him. And those lucky enough to escape with their lives, barely did so."

Even if it didn't seem like the pair were friends or even acquaintances at this point, it was still in her nature to try to protect. Not that the Lord Felscythe needed it, but because it was something he had requested to hear, right?

"I've only encountered Tursidhion once, but that was because I received reports of his approach in Eversong Woods. I couldn't tell you his mission, but it turned out that nothing came from it. There hasn't been any spells or messages towards me. But I know that there was a woman cursed, and that curse took the life of someone else."

Her shoulders lifted a bit in a hapless shrug. As policing the world went, there were so many variables and far too little detectives to really account for a more accurate description of events.

"And what of you Lord Felscythe? You sound as if you encountered the Sanguine Sorceress? What is your relation to her?"

He edified. "I'm sure the courts would be very lenient, given your position Commander." He teased as the sudden eradication of booze in their veins struck them with an instant hangover. Oops. "Why don't we wander down from this place, and I get you back to the local garrison. You can watch me ensure the recordings...disappear in exchange for a history lesson between you and the conniving bitch." He offered, taking another step back, and cast a glance at the altar, marked with sic and blood. The shimmer of a shivarra vanished back into the cloak of invisibility. The Geist that had nearly managed to strike at the drunken elf safely dispatched and quietly let to slump behind the altar, unseen. Two gargoyles. A Geist. A ghost. Remains tucked behind bushes, and decaying scrubplants. Left to flake as much as the ethereal dust of his healthstone had crumbled to. Blood was the echo of a heartbeat. A heartbeat was sound. Sound was a language. Language bore words. And words...were power. Because despite their best efforts at melodrama. Malakortana was not actually the dead womans name. And with no proper entity to fill the siren call of spilled life and innocent power in this dead place, all sorts of nameless dead things came, and would continue to come, all eager to play the role of 'Mala' if it meant even a drop of life, a moments respite. The hooded man had taken advantage of their drunken stupor and distraction away from the dangers they'd inadvertently called. "I'm just looking out for number one." He lied. "I've some history with them too."

Weight gain remission

So I think it's been more than 2 years since I have updated this blog. My weight has fluctuated greatly, and not for the better. Last year at Christmas 2018, I weighed in at or over 300 lbs (that's over 136 kgs!). So obviously come New Year, I made a resolution. But since I had suffered so many self failures, and letting myself down, I made it a very lenient resolution, which simply stated, "By this time next year, I would weigh less."

Now this was almost too simple or easy of a statement, but I needed to know I could do it. I needed to be able to feel some sort or sense of completion and accomplishment. Currently, I now weigh 274.8lbs.

So yes, it's an improvement, but nothing to write home about. Besides this, I have now a longterm plan started, to be completed by November of 2021, which is when we plan to be wed. In which I will to lose around 1-2 pounds per week, hopefully reaching under 200 lbs by the end of it. Which is very doable, if I can hold myself to the new goal. I think next year, I will also aim to complete a 5k run. Beyond that, I am going to go back to school, so I'll be struggling through academia as well.

It's not going to be easy, but it's going to be worth it.

My fiancée and I are looking at doing the Mediterranean diet. I can't say that I'm looking forward to it, but I'm not looking forward to any diet or exercise for that matter. But it will be good for me. Of course, I am still going to be apart of my holiday celebrations, which makes it harder, but that's ok, life is hard. And I can handle it.

I'll try to remember to do pictures like I did before to update each month on my progress. Looking back on how I used to be in shape, it's inspiring, a bit depressing I've fell off so far, but still something to look forward to.
