I have respect for content creators to monitor what does and doesn't stay on their platform, but for the sake of preservation of media, for the sake of helping a community, I want to make sure this archive is in place and widely accessible to TwoSetters.

My current cloud server is VERY MUCH a work in progress. I am in the middle of an extremely busy week and trying to do this around an office job and a half. It will take me time to upload everything, and even more time to organize everything. But the cloud server link is active, and I will keep people updated about the progress of my archiving through a PDF text file (not yet uploaded) in said cloud. If I collaborate with people for Google Drive systems, if I do other backups, I will let people know there and on my other social media accounts.

I am new and naive to Terabox. I started with Terabox because it's free to upload up to a terabyte of content. I think it should be free to download everything in full quality, but I don't know. People should inform me how it works. It's currently -- I'm sorry -- VERY poorly organized and requires Scrolling (TM), but short of that issue (which will be fixed with organization), I hope it gets people what they need.

"This is just not my scene," he replied, saying more words than he he had spoken in the past two hours.

"Okay, well next time I'll give your space to someone else," Arthur Hill replied as he checked the time, it was approaching show time. 

"This is nothing to do with the fact you two slept together at Simon's wedding and she's obviously forgotten about it," Arthur TV explained, he had only gotten Chris's side of the story so didn't know he had failed to message Betsy back. George and Arthur Hill looked at each other before laughing. 

"Chris we need to get you fixed," Arthur Hill joked before announcing he had to go and warm up. 

The show had calmed Chris down somewhat, MACY was good, Arthur was great and he enjoyed watching Betsy, it was obvious she loved doing what she did things changed slightly again when she sang one of her hit songs Infamy. On the surface it just sounded like the song was about relationships but there was a deeper meaning which was about the press's judgement and hounding of people's personal lives. There was one moment where Chris swore Betsy looked at him momentarily and he felt incredibly guilty, he ghosted her because of something she was already afraid of he felt small, well even smaller.

Arthur Hill was slightly surprised when Chris asked if he could come again, considering he was quiet the day before but Arthur agreed and this time Chris came with a plan. He kept himself a little scarce at the beginning but watched her intently from the side lines that was the first time Betsy noticed his presence there. 

After the show Chris knocked on Betsy's dressing room door he took a deep breath when he heard a soft come in. Chris couldn't help but smile when he saw Betsy in black leggings and a green jumper. Her regular casual self was so much different to her stage persona, she was just a regular girl underneath it all and Chris wanted to get to know her and not the flashy musician exterior he was afraid of before. 

"Hi, good show," Chris smiled. Betsy just nodded before placing her glasses on, her eyes got tired if she wore her contacts for too long. 

"Look I have been an absolute arsehole and if you don't want to listen to me excuses that's fine but I think I owe you an explanation," Chris continued and Betsy looked at him. His blue eyes looked so sincere, so kind and there was something about his little face she couldn't resist. 

"Look if you didn't want anything else a simple text would have sufficed," Betsy replied as she sat on the arm of the grey sofa. 

"But I did! I looked you up and saw all these stories and got flustered. When my ex and I broke up there's still jokes going on about it now and she still gets comments on social media and I just thought about how much worse it would be," Chris admitted and Betsy sighed, she had heard this before. 

"I get it. It's fine."

"It's not, look you probably don't want anything else to do with me but I just owed you a sorry." 

"I didn't say I didn't want anything more to do with you," Betsy smiled getting up from the sofa  and walking slowly over to Chris who nodded as he gave a small but cheeky smile. 

"Good," he smiled before his and Betsy's lips touched.

I don’t mean to sound harsh with some of the people upset about his tattoos but I have to genuinely wonder how some people actually thought there would be a day that jungkook would say to thousands/millions of ARMY on live that his J stood for his band mate, one that a sizable amount of people think he is dating, I mean let’s be for real. Too many people expect them to act like a couple that isn’t in some pretty wild circumstances. I know we miss them but I would hope that main thing we got from his live was that he is genuinely resting for the first time in probably his whole time as an idol. He has grown his hair, something he has always wanted to do and kissing his dog and just being his adorable self. I could only watch the first hour before I had to go to work so I have about 3 hours to catch up on lol but like I do wish some jkkrs could just be happy with whatever content we get lives or prefilmed and enjoy content regardless of jikook crumbs or not. I think many were really devastated by him debunking the army are the members theory, and are clinging to his J is for JK like super glue.

I think we can all relate to this, yearning for those fictional boys who love us no matter what, and who wouldn't dare to break our hearts. I'd been working with Sam and Dean for years now. I wasn't a good hunter in the field, so I stayed home and did research. I also kept the bunker clean and cooked for them. I'd been nursing a heavy crush on the older Winchester for a few years now, but I knew how Dean felt about relationships. He often said that this life was too dangerous to form attachments. It was why he often had one-night stands with women.

Sam was different. He didn't date as much as you might figure, but he did have a few girlfriends. I didn't date much either, my crush on Dean always lingering in the back of my mind. I'd been seeing this guy when they left on their latest case, but things had ended badly. Michael was my third boyfriend and now I was single again. I'd spent the last few days wallowing in my heartbreak, losing myself in my favorite books and movies.

I lost myself in my head, thinking about my favorite book 'boyfriends'. I was sitting in the library, my gaze focused on the tv while I watched a Marvel movie. Sebastian Stan's face appeared on the screen as Bucky Barnes and I couldn't help but sigh dreamily as I stared at him. "I wonder what it would be like if you were real," I whispered.

I'd tried hard in my relationship with Micheal. He gave me no real reason for our breakup, except that he was looking for someone prettier, someone better. I was tired of giving more in these relationships than I ever received from them. I'd switched to love stories, alternating between swooning over the male love interest, and then sobbing when I realized that I would never experience that kind of love in real life.

I got so lost in my feelings and the movies, I didn't notice when Dean and Sam returned. Slumped on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, my eyes were full of tears and my lips trembling as I watched another ending scene. The one where they meet halfway in the rain, and he kisses her with passion as the credits roll. I didn't realize they were there until I felt the couch dip on either side of me.

I turned to my left and found myself staring into Dean's eyes. My lips trembled again and I saw him sigh as he said, "Are you crying over another chick flick?" I shook my head, wanting to tell him but too emotional to do. I saw his expression change, his eyes softening as Sam piped up from my other side, "Did Micheal break up with you?"

I nodded, tears sliding down my face unchecked now. Dean didn't say anything, but his eyes said volumes. I could see he was torn between anger at my ex-boyfriend and sadness for me. He held out his arms and I fell forward into his embrace, tucking my head into his chest as I sobbed. The sound of my crying was the only thing you could hear in the library as Dean held me, his hands rubbing soft circles on my back.

I heard him murmur as he rested his head on top of mine, "You were too good for him anyway, kitten." I heard Sam's voice behind me, murmuring in agreement. I held onto him and sobbed, getting all my emotions out. I breathed in Dean's scent, that soft woody scent of cedar and orange that seemed to be his natural scent. As I breathed in his scent, I calmed down, my sobs lessening.

When I pulled away from him, Sam tugged me back into him for a hug. Sam held me tight against his chest, dropping a kiss on my head. "It'll be okay. This will pass." I nodded. I knew it would, but the pain didn't hurt any less from realizing that. Sam left me and Dean alone together to go shower, and I got up, changing the movie. I turned to Dean, "Are you gonna stay?" Dean's eyes stayed locked on mine, his voice was soft. "Do you want me to stay with you?"

I nodded. Dean smiled. "Then I'll stay." He patted the spot next to him, and I walked over as he started the movie, his groan making me giggle as he realized which movie I put on. "Are we watching this because Sebastian Stan is in it?" I nodded, sitting next to him as he tucked me under his arm. I heard him grumble something under his breath as he let me rest my head on his chest.

Dean was silent for most of the movie, except for the moments where he rolled his eyes and scoffed when I seemed to melt when Sebastian looked at the camera. Dean's voice made me look at him, as the movie played on. "What is it that you like about this pretty boy anyway?" He asked, gesturing to the TV. I sighed, my face turning wistful. "He's so pretty, and those eyes just make my heart stop. He's also just so perfect. Perfect as can be." I paused, my voice turning serious as I turned to look at Dean. "He-" I stopped, tears forming in my eyes. "Bucky Barnes wouldn't hurt me, Dean."

Dean was silent, watching me. His expression turned serious and he said, "But he's not real, darlin." I nodded, my voice breaking as I responded, "I know he's not real. I'd rather keep on dreaming of someone I'll never have the chance to meet than give my love to someone who wouldn't even think of choosing me." I couldn't help but start sobbing again, my voice halting as I said, "I'm going to be alone forever, Dean."

I could see he felt for me, and he scooted closer, his voice soft. "You're not alone anymore. You have me. And Sam." He continued to stare at me, his eyes soft. It was as if he was trying to communicate something to me without words. I couldn't help but feel drawn to him, his presence calming me in a way that I couldn't explain. As he continued to look at me, I realized that I had been holding my breath. I let out a shaky exhale and closed my eyes, feeling his warmth and the soft touch of his fingers on my skin.

I opened my eyes to see that Dean was still looking at me, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips. His touch was gentle and comforting, and I found myself leaning into him. He wrapped his arms around me, and I buried my face in his chest, feeling safe and protected. As we sat there in silence, I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. We had been friends for years, but I had never seen this side of him before. It was as if he was opening up to me in a way that he never had before.

Eventually, Dean spoke, his voice soft and gentle. "I'm here for you," he said. "Whatever you need, I'm here." His words were like a balm to my soul, and I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes once again. I looked up at him and saw that his eyes were still soft and gentle, but there was something else there now. Something that I couldn't quite put my finger on. It was almost as if he was trying to tell me something, but he didn't know how to say it.

I took a deep breath and leaned back slightly, looking up at him. "What is it?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. Dean hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I don't know," he said finally. "There's just something about you, something that draws me to you." He paused for a moment as if searching for the right words. "I care about you, more than I should." I felt my heart skip a beat as I looked at him, wondering if I had heard him correctly. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Dean took a deep breath and looked down at me, his eyes locking with mine. "I mean that I love you," he said simply. "I've loved you for a long time, and I just couldn't keep it hidden anymore." I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes once again as I looked at him, feeling overwhelmed by his words. I had never expected him to say something like this, and I wasn't quite sure how to respond.

For as long as I'd known him, despite my crush on him, I assumed he saw me as a friend. So I buried myself in my books and movies, trying to find the perfect love story with the perfect man. I stared up at him, my voice barely above a whisper. "I love you too." Dean's eyes seemed to light up and he pulled me close to him, his lips touching mine in a soft kiss.

The movie reached its peak on the screen, and he pulled back from me, tucking me back into his arms as we went back to watching the movie, my small hand tucked into his. I realized something. I realized that I didn't have to lose myself in my books anymore. I had found my own love story. One that would be messy and sometimes complicated, but also beautiful and real. As I settled back into Dean's embrace I knew that finding your happily ever after wasn't something that just happened in books and movies. It also happened in real life.

Directly released 2 songs with tons of videos on 70M subscribed hybe channel and those 2 songs are super catchy. 1 song is a ballad. Kpop world loved them like really really loved them and they released another title song along with releasing all the songs digitally and while that song was catchy, the lyrics are controversial (that the company gave am absurd explanation it's really laughable) The songs were hit on the korean side but I don't know much abt charts and how they impact their variety shows so I won't talk abt k- side but internationally their songs were on all popular playlists (both AM and spotify) and ofcourse all kpop playlists. So even if you are not a hybe Stan or doesn't engage much in kpop spaces online you will someway or other listen to their song and get hooked. They have 14 or some songs and had 6 songs reach 33M ppl so yeah. Without TTH, their latest comeback single made 1.4M or less than 2M (almost an year after debut) and had the peak of nearly 5M after adding to tth and tiktok heating and that song has like 5% korean so there's that.

Newjeans and 5050's cupid reminds me of "you think you got taste, oh baby how do you know" because you can't escape their songs even if you don't engage with kpop because it was that crazy

The points you made are totally valid. New Jeans songs are definitely very catchy like i said in that post. And their label definitely invested in playlisting too. + Tiktok heating because those songs are indeed tiktok friendly.

As for Cupid song, it was exposed that their CEO paid some million won to Tiktok to push that song. (The song definitely had viral potential and they recognised that). This news actually changed my entire perspective on tiktok heating. Sure, some songs are just organically viral, but I realised tiktok had reached that level of power and influence that labels are now paying tiktok (like they pay for streaming platforms and radio) to push their songs. So I won't be surprised if Hybe did something similar for Super Shy or other songs. (Again, i repeat, these are songs with viral potential and that's why the push was successful, even without remixing the original song)

It's true, Jungkook's high numbers came not only from the playlist, radio and tiktok push, but also as a result of the already present massive army fanbase. But it's also true, that the songs got some local acceptance BECAUSE they are in English.

That's why in that post I said that BTS's fanbase comes mainly from the story and concept they sell. One needs to invest their mind and time. There are not a lot of BTS songs that a local will listen to and think - oh let me put it in my playlist quickly because their songs are simply soo different from what the west grew up listening to. Brahman and LilDarkie’s departure from the idea of “LilDarkie” with a close look at the idea of “are you ready?”

Mixing rap and rock is a very very fun idea for me and it hits the spot CORPSE does without the gamer LED setup and his little cat ears. This is more of sound analysis without that much parsing through lyrics. I think with his recent releases of songs like “banana pie” he's going for more heartfelt angst with the tonal tag of a three wolves howling at the moon, coming from a 2020 perspective, in the same way CORPSE does it, and CORPSE is the sex icon of our generation for it. And honestly CORPSE is both underrated and overrated with people missing the absolute gem of “fuK u lol” and how it really encapsulates the idea of his spotify picture, it really is a “fuK u lol.” Very y2k without the tiktok.

I love how this genre of edgy boy music can be summed up in animated music videos. Being able to be actually soulful with an understanding of what the aesthetic is and how that plays into music. What “LilDarkie” now “Brahman” has over CORPSE is having more grit and less anime (which is ironic since I tend to prefer grit but love the anime music videos after y2k and I’m an ironic baddie). But said grit can lead to the stranger sounds of his guitar soul music Brahman now makes. Looking at his instagram Brahman is genuinely doing a full 180 from his previous persona dropping most of his trademarks to focus on his Indian blood heritage. Also as a tidbit on his insta he's seen doing a lot of wellness therapy which I find pleasing, self care seems to be much needed and I’d like to think it plays into the irony of HOLOCAUST without mentioning Hitler a single time.

His “big announcement” of who he is now and how he still has the “idea of LilDarkie” is in “are you ready?” which is very funny considering how it starts w/ “hahaha” and how it goes right into a CORPSE guitar solo which honestly is one of the freshest takes in current music and will be remembered fondly being put right in the niche where older music is just passing from cringe and into retro, where y2k music (like rave girl just not as universal) is going to come back into mainstream through it being paved in by CORPSE (please make more music we need you). But considering its LilDarkie I don’t think he’d give a single shit since he’s the man who made HOLOCAUST. My giddy around this new song is how it feels like hes stomp kicking his old fans who crowded around his persona of “HOLOCAUST” and “GENOCIDE” even with them being amazing songs which can be fun to critique on a social standing, to be done at a later date. What I hope is bringing back the skype days of the y2k genre, less glitz and glam and more of skype and anime posting with the same full-heartendess of a furry. It feels like his newer stuff on Brahman can be seen as more “hidey” with his song “reminding” being a soulful guitar solo which he known to make. I find that fascinating and what has changed in him. Listening to his newest if not last album under the persona of Lil Darkie is just a social critique of society in general with the line “did the FBI calcify your third eye?” being the perfect line for his album with the context of “hehe funny hat.” He now has my soul and being with HUMANS AND MONSTERS being his best song of all time please devour me along with the earth and your Little Darkie realness. Also Lil Darkie flexing his platinum plaque is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen and all I do is squeal like a tumlbrina fangirl begging more more HOLOCAUST with a PC culture layover. 

But considering the social critique his latest came off as I can fully see how he started to transition to a more soulful sound as a palette cleanser since he too, is a human being. Also consider his last song on this banger of an album is “it never gets better”

Doing this was way harder than writing to a strong melody, but I was determined to create something that really came from within. How would you describe the sound and style of "wasted" to someone who hasn't heard it yet? I would describe “wasted” as very moody and sensual. It has an rnb flow with a touch of hiphop cadences & drums. It’s more on the ambient and lyrical side, but perfect for a late night drive or catching a vibe. The sub genres that I think fit this song most would be dark r&b, dark pop, alternative pop, & trap soul. What does the title "wasted" mean in the context of the song? Is there a specific message or theme you're exploring? “wasted” is exactly what you think it means, to be really intoxicated. Although the message is important, the theme is what I was more focused on exploring. How can I blend imagery with complex emotions? This is a story about two young lovers who are caught in a wild, whirlwind romance, and my objective is to make you see what they see, & feel what they feel. fit into your overall musical journey? Does it represent a new direction for your sound? I absolutely think it was a bit of a catalyst in my journey. I really pushed myself with songwriting in a much different way than I ever had before. However, it’s still a similar sound & vibe to what I’ve been doing for a while, it’s just much more refined now. Can you walk us through your creative process for writing and producing "wasted"? I started out chopping up sample loops, reversing & blending them, then added a very simple drum pattern. After that, I got to writing right away. My main focus with rnb is always the vocals—steering away from the production until I’m happy with how my lyrics & melody turn out. I also had 4 to 5 drafts before I stuck with the version that’s out right now. After I have my main melodies, I begin layering them with harmonies—to support the vocals & give it more movement. When I’m finally in love with my demo, I’ll start producing around the vocals to fill in the gaps. When I’m done with that, I kick up my vocal exercises for a few days & record the final vocals for the song! Once everything is in place, that’s when I begin my mix down process. Are there any particular lyrics in "wasted" that hold special significance for you? Yes, there are a few lines that hold special significance to me. My intro lines & my chorus hook. “Usually I’d be gone before the sunrise, Usually I’d be out the door but now I’m out my mind” And “You want me only when you’re wasted” The first 2 are significant because, I’m deeply reflecting on my actions and how I’m not standing on business. That’s usually how I know I’m about to crash out bad—when I end up in a situation that I shouldn’t be in. And my chorus line because, although it’s such a simple statement, it’s quite an unsettling feeling that’s weighed heavy on my heart before. Were there any challenges you faced during the creation of "wasted"? How did you overcome them? Every song has a different challenge and with this one, it was recording & mixing the vocals. I wrote some really high harmony parts that were challenging to hit, but it sounded soo good! So I had to re-record it multiple times. The most challenging part though, was mixing the chorus! Mixing vocals isn’t my favorite, even though I have to do it every time. And getting the vocal stack to all blend in at the chorus section was not an easy task! It had a lot of moving parts, I didn’t want to overcrowd the mix, & I could’ve recorded some things a little different. But overall, I still love the way this song turned out. It was just a matter of pushing through and surrendering to the mix. Do you have plans for a music video to accompany "wasted"? If so, can you give us a sneak peak into the concept? I’m not sure if I’m going to do a full length music video to “wasted” at this very moment… However, I have been discussing with a friend about doing visualizers/mini videos. Should We Try That In A Small Town?

We find ourself in the midst of another controversial moment in music. This time it is Jason Aldean’s latest single ‘Try That In A Small Town’ that has resulted in quite the uproar. Though the song was released a while back, the music video just recently came out. Which is where the outrage began, as initially the song wasn’t known by those beyond his fans and country music listeners. The music videos location of choice resulted in media talking about the song and opened it up to more of the general public. Now the conversations started to occur around whether the song had racial undertones and is Jason Aldean a racist. Now of course the cohort that makes up for the majority of listeners of country music would have not been able to pick up on the racial undertones, as they clearly lack intellect and since they’ve not experienced racism themselves. If you want to hear the breakdown of the racial undertones then you can find several content creators on TikTok in particular give an in-depth insight to them. However as expect the Right have denied it all and claim that there is nothing of the sort present in the song and all that it is about is that the folk of small towns will not standby and let people cause havoc. 

They’ve gone as far as to say that those that are pointing out the racism are the racists. Which everyone of them has regurgitate under every comment section of content relating to the song. To them its the ‘I can’t see anything wrong and thus there isn’t anything wrong with it’ mentality that they are staying hellbent on sticking to. Just because you fail to see it for what it is, doesn’t void its actuality. The Right will always deny and deflect. As they find it hard to accept that there could be anything wrong with America. Their patriotism isn’t genuine love for their country, as if you loved your country you’d want it to be the best it can be. They so desperately want to avoid acknowledging what is so obvious and in turn not hold those that are propagating racism to be held accountable. They continue to claim that they are fighting cancel culture, however who actually has been cancelled so far? No one, its more about accountability than it is about wanting to want someone to be cancelled. As accountability leads to growth, however they want to stay stuck in the past and not progress for the better. Their false claim of all they want is unity and that those that oppose them are trying to divide the nation. When in fact they are the most divisive. 

They have gone on to make comparisons that don’t function the way they think they do. Such as saying that films have also used the location which is a courthouse where someone was lynched by a mob. So why didn’t people get worked up then. Well because the films themselves didn’t host racial undertones that then find link to the events that occurred at the location. Then they brought up rap music and claimed that people don’t get mad over the lyrics featured in the genre. Again if they put a little thought into it, they’d be able to tell that the two aren’t the same. That them bring rap or hip-hop music up here isn’t a comparison that works. Maybe we expect too much from them. As they put no thought whatsoever behind what they are consuming and what they are saying, however are quick to add their voices to a conversation that has no need for insertion from them. They believe people want to be offended and go searching for something to get worked up over. They try so hard to deny what is right in front of them that it all becomes comical to witness. Even if the things they are bring up were the same or similar, does that then make this particular situation okay? As two wrongs don’t make a right, just because one person does something bad, it doesn’t in turn make it right for the other to do the same.

Now Jason Aldean didn’t have a role in the songwriting process or the creation of the visuals. So it could be that to him when he heard the song he interpreted it to be about community spirit in a small town. However the writers and those on the creative team of the music video definitely were aware of what they were doing. All the while using Jason Aldean as a puppet to propagate what they wanted to put across. If it was about community spirit, then they should have filmed communities from small towns coming together and being there for one another. Instead they had the backdrop to the performance scene be a location where a racially motivated attack occurred, featured clips from BLM protests and other clips placed out of context. On top of that the lyric video featured a newspaper clipping that further points to it being a song with racial intent. They’ve since gone on to edit the visuals and remove certain clips from the original video released. Think on it a little, if there was nothing wrong with what was released then why go and edit it. Lets not go and say that they were pressured into doing so. Because that is far from it. It is silly to play ignorant and disregard it as coincidence. On top of that what link do protests have to with small towns. As it would not be effective to protest in a small town, you’d want to do so in a major city where you could make the biggest impact.

As they did with Morgan Wallen, they decided to do so for Jason. They went out of their way to support the song leading to it climbing to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Marking his first chart topper on the all genre chart. All just to prove a point that they can’t be cancelled. You had his fellow country artists like Cody Johnson and Brantley Gilbert show support during their concerts. Though on most part they were trying to use this moment to get some publicity for themselves, as they know those that were supporting Aldean are easily played. Could it be that the label used the Right to push the song to success? It could very well have been a promotional ploy all along. CMT had decided to take the music video down and no longer have it in rotation on the channel. To which the Right screamed that the media outlet should be boycotted. There was an article that claimed that Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton were cutting ties with CMT in solidarity with Jason Aldean. Which the Right bought into and celebrate, all for it to be a satire piece. Going to show how easily they can be fooled and that they don’t actually read things properly. As the article clearly mentioned that it was satire.

The Right went on to say that white liberals where the only ones outraged by it, choosing to neglect all the POCs that spoke out in regards to it. Also they brought up Jason Aldean having Ludacris feature on the remix to his hit single ‘Dirt Road Anthem’ as a way to claim he couldn’t be racist. Which is like clutching at straws in desperate attempt to defend something that can’t be defended. It is like saying ‘I can’t be racist because I have friends that are POCs’. That isn’t how it works. Now as I said earlier Jason initially may have not looked beyond the surface level interpretation of the song and thus bypassed what others picked up on upon release. However once the racist undertones were brought to his attention, he could have acknowledge that and said that he could now see how it presents in that manner. That in future he’ll be more aware and do his due diligence. Instead he regurgitated the same line as his defenders that if you see a problem with the song then it maybe that you are the problem. 

Now the Right are fast to label their opposition as ‘snowflakes’. However the ones that truly define that word are they themselves, as they are the ones that get offended by things that aren’t offensive at all. They choose to boycott the beer brand Bud Light simply because it associated with a trans person, which was nothing to get worked over. Then Tyler Childers released the music video for his single ‘In Your Love’ and it featured a gay couple, which for some reason caused offence to the Right. Who were saying they were no longer fans of his, as though this was the moment they’d released he didn’t align with their views. Which is something that’s always been apparent. However making same love the centre piece of a music video isn’t something to get worked up over. Why can’t that be highlighted, however straight couples are constantly the focal point of music videos and media in general. Even now that holds true. So how exactly is the LGBT+ being shoved down your throats by simply being highlighted in the same way. They’ll get worked up over those getting offended over something that is offensive, however they want you to be understanding of why they are offended by something inoffensive. Tyler’s music video was nothing more than a love story. 

Like when have we actually seen listens of hip-hop or rap music reenact what the lyrics depict? However we’ve seen the impact of racist mentality or the hate towards queer people that is being propagated in physical form. Recently a fan of Beyoncé’s who had just attended her concert on his way back was killed outside a gas station simply for being queer, similarly again very recently in the UK queer people have been attacked out in public simply because of who they are. Then again recently three were killed in a racially motivated attack in the ever so great United States. Can you not see where influence actually is having consequences that are harmful, thus the comparisons the Right make aren’t fair in the slightest. I mean Ron DeSantis is trying to change the history that is to be taught in schools, as an attempt to give it a ‘positive spin’. Hiding actuality that is typical of the Right to make it seem like America isn’t as bad as it is made out to be. However like previously stated the Right will remain delusional and deny what it so apparent.

There is so much more that can be discussed in terms of politics, racism and more in that line of conversations. I got more into it in my first draft, however decided to keep it short here. There is things such as POCs on TikTok pandering to the Right, the Sound Of Freedom film that they are propping up that is supposed to be about child trafficking, however the focal point isn’t that at all. Also where the Right not aware of child trafficking prior to the films release? It seems though they’ve only now come to discover it. That if child trafficking was the focal point then they’d have done more to leave viewers with sources and charities tackling the issue and supporting victims. That they’d be giving the proceeds from the film to those causes. The so called patriots claim that the opposition hate America and the flag. When in fact that is far from the truth. The opposition love the country, however their love isn’t blind and they want to tackle the issues that are still so rampant. The democrats/left have only detached from the flag because of who’s attached themselves to it. 

We’ve got Donald Trump supports driving around waving the American flag and blaring Jason Aldean’s song in hopes to trigger passersby. With one of the Trump supporters filming themselves doing so and using arrows to point towards people walking by, claiming that they were triggered by his patriotism. When none of those the arrows pointed to reacted or were bothered by his display. They seem to make scenarios up in their heads just so that they can act as though they are doing something heroic and that they are fighting the ‘greater fight’. They are rather pathetic. One person posted a comment under Jason Aldean’s recent album announcement, claiming that she’d worn a Jason Aldean shirt to a doctors appointment due to which she was treated poorly by the doctor. When questioned in regards to the credibility of the incident, she responded with ‘Why are you jealous of my bad experience?’. Making it clear that she just made it all up to make it seem that wearing merch of an artist at the centre of a controversy was a brave act on her part.

Many of them lack a basic education and thus you find that they have little to no substance in the responses they give when you decide to converse with them. They tell you to do your own research and not be a ‘sheep’. Yet they are the sheep as you see them regurgitate the same thing their fellow right-wingers throw about. Or they’ll use what you present against you, their lack of originality is enough to signify their level of intellect. Their limited scope and inability to see past what they’ve always known hinders them from seeing things for what they are or exaggerating actuality to fit the agenda they want to push. These are the very people that will tell celebrities to stay out of politics, however are the ones that voted in a reality tv star to become President of the United States and still are advocating for him to be elected again. 

I’ll leave it at that and I hope that we are able to make the world a better place, rather than pushing for regression. Remember denying the existence of a problem, doesn’t make it go away. Also accountability allows for growth, so yes we should continue to call out those that deserve to be called out. We should also give them a chance to show that they’ve learnt from their shortcomings.
