Primeiro foram os pedidos estranhos que pareciam feitos para irritá-lo, depois ela estava sempre perto demais, e bem, parecia que ela realmente gostava de provocar, principalmente aqueles que parecia ter alguma relação de amizade com seus irmãos mais velhos. Fetiche, talvez? Ele não sabia, mas Max obviamente fez a escolha menos racional ─ ele sempre tendia a fazer escolhas mais impulsivas. E foi assim que ele acabara na cama da princesa. Ele se arrependia? Não. Mas ele sabia que ela estaria noiva de algum príncipe sem graça num futuro não tão distante, sem contar os nove anos de diferença entre eles. Seria burrice deixar que fosse qualquer coisa mais que diversão. "Eu não vou fazer o que você pediu pro jantar, me recuso... A menos que você esteja disposta a pagar o meu preço," brincou com o preço que não tinha nada a ver com dinheiro.

havia se comprometido em dar o seu melhor na seleção e isso não envolvia somente se esforçar para criar uma conexão com o príncipe. claro que ela não sabia se aquelas aulas influenciariam em alguma coisa na decisão, mas não queria dizer que não eram importantes, por isso, estava na biblioteca estudando um pouco sobre a história política do país. havia visto muito superficialmente na escola e a riqueza bibliográfica que havia no palácio era algo que jamais teria acesso se não fosse a seleção, logo... era melhor aproveitar. já tinha lido o mesmo parágrafo duas vezes, sua mente ia e voltava. "se ele fosse mais como imaginei seria mais fácil" soltou junto com um suspiro, não que Alarik estivesse tomando seus pensamentos, não era exatamente isso, era o fato dele se mostrar diferente do que tinha imaginado. "quem eu quero enganar? não estava e continuo não estando preparada pra isso" bufou folheando o livro sobre a mesa, tentaria outro capítulo, talvez ajudasse. estava tão distraída que nem percebeu a presença de @alyssia-thegossip por ali.

Ela não sabia como iria apender ou decorar, tudo que tinha que decorar. Ela não teve as mesmas oportunidades de algumas outras selecionadas. Mas, apesar da frustração que sentia por dentro, ela não podia deixar transparecer, ela não podia deixar aquilo impedi-la naquela empreitada. Ela precisa se conectar, achar alguma coisa que pudesse lhe dar uma vantagem. Ela só não sabia o quê. Ela estava sentada, mexendo o pé impacientemente por baixo do vestido longo, até ver a princesa entrar no salão das mulheres e sentar nas poltronas com suas mil damas de companhia. Ela não podia perder tempo. "Vossa Alteza," ela se aproximou da princesa, fazendo uma pequena reverência. "Se importa se eu sentar aqui?" Ela apontou para uma poltrona próxima da mulher. Poderia aprender com ela, mas não queria parecer com Alyssia, já que o que menos queria era lembrá-lo da irmãzinha menor dele. "Não vou desperdiçar o seu tempo, então vou direto perguntar, o que você espera da mulher que seu irmão escolher?" Não era se casar só com um homem, uma família, mas um país inteiro.

7/21/06 Eagles of Death Metal/Peaches Avalon- 2006 was a tough year. A month before this show Shawn Scott my best friend for 15years uninvited me to his wedding. That with all the family deaths I was broken. Thankfully, my friends rallied around me and K bought tickets to this show. #eaglesofdeathmetal puts on a kickass show. Anything I was feeling before went away when they took the stage. Now the audience for this show was a weird mix. Lots of rock dudes showed up to see @eodmofficial and then there were those who came to see #Peaches which pretty much the whole gender spectrum. This show I fell in love with @peachesnisker and will see her perform every time she comes to Boston. 8/4/06 The Pretenders Avalon- K and I were front and center and @chrissiehyndemusic was standing above like the fucking #rockgoddess she is. Another show to help cheer me up. 8/19/06 X & The Rollins Band-K and I first saw X at the EMP museum in Seattle-where K is from. This show was insane. @henryrollinsofficial was so afraid of sweating too much on stage that after each song he was wiping the stage with a towel so #exenecervenka wouldn’t yell at him. @xthebandofficial is always a great show. Even though they are no longer married the chemistry between #johndoe and exene is intoxicating. 7/14/06 The Gossip Middle East Downstairs- As always seeing #thegossip is like going to a revival. “The gossips” by Norman Rockwell is a chain of whispers and talks that starts and ends with the same woman, the one who initiate a gossip about Rockwell.

In the little town of Arlington, Vermont, there were some gossips going around about Rockwell, which eventually reached his ears. Pretty pissed off, he confronts the lady it all started with.

The faces are not on Rockwell’s imagination, but on real life. He photographed his neighbors and used the photos as a reference for his drawing, that ended up as a cover for the Saturday Evening Post in 1948.
