So last year I attended the IAM fish fry fundraiser and at the end decided to purchase the remaining platters to distribute to those less fortunate. That started what has now become a tradition. This year @felicia_dawn86 @nvmoss & I distributed almost 100 platters in center city. I also made sure my prince and princess were there to witness and participate. My mother instilled this in me and I want to make sure that they know that no matter how ugly this world may be, it's up to us to truly make America great again. As a board member of @bethesda_project I visited a few locations to view the banners that the residents created as a thank you to those who volunteer their time to combat homelessness. Last night I had the pleasure of speaking with the youth basketball team of the Landsdowne Boys & Girls Club at the end of their season about teamwork & honing their skills. As a reward for hard work, I'm sending everyone to the Sixers Vs Miami Heat game tonight. Came to #Support @influenceaction at their fish fry and help them reach their fundraising goal by purchasing the remaining platters to distribute to those less fortunate. I normally don't post every time I do stuff like this because that's not why I do it but as I stand here in awe, I really want to highlight these two women @felicia_dawn86 & @britneyelayne who didn't even hesitate when I asked them to help me serve tonight.. Britney & Felecia were raising money for their youth mentoring programs all day then not only volunteered their time but also their resources at a moments notice. On Wednesday night at the last home game of the season I was honored by the @nba & @philadelphia76ers live on the nationally televised @comcastsportsnet channel for the #TheGivebackPhilly @apicgiveback. My whole team couldn't be there with me so I accepted it for all of us. I was joined on court by my son the prince, my brother and my nephew. One day in the near future, my son & nephew will be the ones being honored and my brother and I will be joining them for moral support.
