A Storm Worth Watching

The town was quiet as the rain began all of it’s inhabitants apparently home waiting out the storm… Or so you’d think. A young girl walked out to meet the rain, her tan arms outspread so the rain could cover them. She had given up, the blood covering her entire body including her way to short jean shorts, and short black tank top serving as a reminder everyone she had been with was now dead.

Though as she closed her eyes, nothing. Not even a soul in sight as the rain seemed to get harder. Martha opened her eyes, and took a look around, circling the entire enclosed neighborhood. Nothing. She spun around on her heel quickly. Still nothing.

As the storm seemed to be at it’s closest the nightmare seemed to be over. Seeing the oportunity she sprinted down the familiar street extra careful to not be followed. This was her hometown, the one she was born in, the one she was raised in. And if she had a say definately not the one she was going to die in.

Mertha only haulted when she saw IT. The people she feared most ever since this storm, her own neighbor. She screamed as the figure stepped out of the open door into the street, his walk with a limp from his leg which had a machete stuck right through it. “Over here!” a man yelled, firing a shot right to the sewn together creatures leg. Martha ran towards him as he yet again sent another shot to his leg, trying to bring down the giant creature moving closer.

One lucky one was all it took before the thing collapsed, a bullet to the brain when it tried pulling itself along the pavement. “Thank you so much” Martha said, smiling and hugging her savior.

"Oh my dear you have so much to learn" the man said, pushing her off of him. "You weren’t his kill" he said as he bashed the barrel of his rifle against her forehead, catching it with his other hand once she fell to the ground. "You were mine." Only one last scream was heard from that block before it was left stained in the blood of two corpses.

Meanwhile, only a short walk away another woman tackled her husband, ripping right into his neck with her newly grown talons and bitting his shoulder with her oversized teeth. This was the way of the storm. It changed those who were hateful enough into monsters that could destroy their reason for hatred. The rain seemed to be the problem, as contact with it was what really changed people.

Neighbors who ruined one’s lawn could be torn to pieces and eaten. Thieves stabbed and hung high in a tree by a cheeta looking human with fur on their skin. All of them full of hatred for another. Hatred that was to be set free when the storm settled and then back to normal in the eye and when it passed. Then a new town, new hate, new victims, and most of all more souls for the Obomination to devor before he could escape the storm and walk amongst the earth once more.
