Joseph Seed/Deputy - One of Us
youtube
had been wanting to make this for a couple months now, finally finished it. With Joseph and Deputy their relationship is complicated, definitely a lot of work and trust issues especially being enemies being stuck in a bunker.
I don't own anything everything belongs to their rightful owners!

#DailyDevotion Are You Treating The LORD As God?
#DailyDevotion Are You Treating The LORD As God? Psalm 50 7“Listen, My people, and I will speak; listen, Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God! The LORD having called heaven and earth to be His witnesses, He now addresses the accused, His own people. He calls upon them to listen to Him testify against them. The basis for the charges He brings is this, “I am God, your God.!” As we shall see, the Israelites did not treat God as God. 8I do not criticize you for your sacrifices, for regularly bringing Me your burnt offerings. 9But I need not take a bull from your homes or a male goat from your folds, 10since all the animals in the forest are Mine and the cattle on the hills by the thousand. 11I care for every bird in the hills, and everything stirring in the field is present before Me. 12If I were hungry, I need not tell you because the world is Mine and everything in it. 13Do I eat the meat of bulls or drink the blood of goats? Now the LORD prescribed all these sacrifices in the Torah, the covenant He made with them through His servant Moses. But as we see, these were for the Israelites. God did not need them. Because He had commanded them, He did not criticize them for bringing them. But unlike the pagan gods, the LORD does not need them. Apparently, the Israelites thought He did. But the LORD lays it out before them, everything is His. If we wanted to eat a bull, a goat or a lamb, He'd simply take them. The LORD does not hunger or thirst. These sacrifices were for the consciences of the people. 14Bring God your thanks as a sacrifice, and do for the most high God what you vowed. 15Call Me in time of trouble! When I rescue you, you should honor Me." So there are several things the LORD wants from His people, to treat Him as God. First, the LORD wants thanksgiving as a sacrifice. He wants to be recognized as the One who gives all good things to His people. He is the source of every good. They should be thanking Him and not these foreign gods, if the people are grateful at all. This is the most important thing. Secondly, He wants them to keep the vow they made at Sinai. He wants them to obey Him by keeping the statutes, laws, regulations and commandments He gave them. It is a sign of love and trust when they do so from the heart. Remember, the LORD told them to circumcise their hearts. Just as the sacrifices mean nothing to Him when they are done without a sincere heart, so too obedience done only out of fear and not love and trust means nothing to Him. The third way the LORD wanted to be treated as God is for His people to call upon Him in times of trouble. It amazes me to hear people say, “I wouldn't want to ask God for X, certainly He is involved with more important things,” or “Certainly God is too busy to deal with this.” As if the LORD the Creator and Sustainer of all creation doesn't have the ability to answer your prayers. Even worse, You think He doesn't want to be bothered by your concerns. If you believe God is your Father and He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be the atoning sacrifice for your sins, how can you not believe He cares for you, about everything going on in your life. Treat the LORD as God and call upon Him in times of trouble. Fourthly, He is treated as God when we honor Him when He rescues us, which goes back to the first thing of offering thanksgiving as a sacrifice. When we are delivered from trials and tribulations, we should recognize it is the LORD who has delivered us. We need to acknowledge it by giving praise to Him and no one else for our deliverance when it occurs. Heavenly Father, give us Your Spirit, that we may recognize You as our God, give thanks and praise to You, call upon You in times of trouble, obey you out of love, and honor with our hearts and lips as the One who has saved us from every trouble. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Read the full article

I found this little guy this morning. Made my heart happy. Been run over hundreds of times. Looks like it’s lost its complete identity and worth. Now He’s one of my prized possessions.
No matter how many times you’ve been run over your still the Father’s prized possession.
Happy Friday.

#DailyDevotion What Sins Do The Idols Of Your Heart Lead You To?
#DailyDevotion What Sins Do The Idols Of Your Heart Lead You To? Hosea 10 Israel is a luxuriant vine, producing fruit for himself. The more he produces, the more altars he makes; the finer his country, the finer the pillars he makes for his idols. 2Their hearts are divided; now they must take their punishment. He will tear down their altars and destroy their pillars. 3Yes, soon they'll be saying, “We have no king because we don't fear the LORD. But what could a king do for us?” The LORD had blessed Israel for the sake of Abraham. It had become a luxuriant vine. It produced a lot of wealth for itself and perhaps that was the problem. They did not recognize it was the LORD who blessed them. Because of that it did not care for the poor, the widow, the orphan or the priest of the LORD in the land. The wealthier they got the more places of worship, i.e. temples they made, to the LORD and to false gods. Yet the LORD told them to sacrifice at Jerusalem. Their hearts were divided. They worshiped the LORD at places He did not designate and they worshiped the idols of the nations they dispossessed and their neighbors. A house divided cannot stand. Because they did not worship Him as He directed and worshiped idols they would be punished. It wasn't as if they were not warned. He sent prophet after prophet calling them to repent but they would have none of it. The LORD would tear down their altars and pillars by the hands of the Assyrians when they carried them all off to distant lands. They rejected the LORD as King when they asked for Saul. They separated themselves from the house of David after Solomon (though who could blame them). Their kings led them away from the worship of the LORD and caused them to worship idols. They will say, “We have no king because we don't fear the LORD. But what could a king do for us?” Well they will have no king of their own. They rejected the LORD as King and the kings of Israel would be no more. Now they would be ruled by the Assyrians. No king of theirs could help them now. 4They speak mere words, swear to lies, and so they make contracts, and court cases spring up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of a field. 5Those who live in Samaria are fearing for the heifer of Beth-aven [house of wickedness). Yes, its people will weep over it and its priests wail over it because its glory has departed from it. 6Yes, the thing itself will be carried to Assyria as a present to the great king. Ephraim will be disgraced; Israel will be disappointed in what he planned. Here we see the accusation of breaking the 8th commandment to not bear false witness. They were breaking the 2nd commandment to not use the LORD's name in vain. They feared the golden calf at Bethel (which the LORD calls Beth-aven) which was breaking the 1st. In breaking these commandments, they called down the LORD's curses which they pronounced at Mr. Ebal. The LORD was going to give the unclean thing to the Assyrians and their king. The people would weep over it because they had lost their god. They shed no tear though over losing the LORD long before this in exchange for this idol. The people of Israel would be disgraced by the Assyrians. What will it take for us to get rid of the idols of our hearts? What do we turn to in times of trouble instead of the LORD? Come to the Father through Jesus Christ and He will strengthen your heart. He will give you all good things in the right time and measure. Heavenly Father, clear out the idols of our hearts so we may trust You alone for all good things, though Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
