Women’s Suffrage in the United Kingdom was a movement to fight for women’s right to vote. It finally succeeded through two laws in 1918 and 1928. It became a national movement in the Victorian era. . Finally in 1918, Parliament passed an act granting the vote to women over the age of 30 satisfied a set of requirements giving approximately 8.4 million women the chance to vote. In November 1918, the Parliament (Qualification of Women) Act 1918 was passed, allowing women to be elected into the House of Commons. This was followed by the Conservative Party passing the Representation of the People (Equal Franchise) Act, which extended the voting franchise to all women over the age of 21, giving WOMEN the same voting rights as MEN. Sometimes it's just the simple things...right? Fried egg on toast, add salt and pepper whilst frying, yum 😋 If possible, try not to add butter to the bread...a little change goes a long way. You can ACCOMPLISH EVERYTHING in small chunks. 1️⃣ Set a GOAL 2️⃣ Write the steps to accomplishing it. These could be things like I will use the stairs instead of the lifts at least twice a day. I will respond to nuisances once I am calm, because when I am stressed I comfort eat etc. My FITNESS GOAL is to RUN a #marathon and in order to accomplish that I WILL be fitter. I am trying to get my weight to 11stones because that's more easily achievable than the 10.5 stones that I should be according to BMI. I also think that once I achieve my first goal I can reassess my weight later.
