So, I was probably always going to be fond of TRIGUN STAMPEDE just for new content for a story that I’ve loved for so long, but I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by how gorgeous it was, how well paced it was, or how well written it was. From just fully breaking the dial off when it comes to turning up Vash’s babygirlness to the conflict between love/pacifism and rage/retribution, that two people can fundamentally disagree and yet they love each other because the other one is who they are, and added in some wildly fun side characters, it wasn’t just a ride of a show, it has utterly consumed me. NOW I’M GOING TO MAKE MY PERSONAL FEELINGS HELL EVERYONE ELSE’S PROBLEM by shoving a bunch of fic at you all and crying very loudly about how much I love all of these characters and that, if canon won’t give me a perfect happy soft ending, then by god I will make fandom do it! Thankfully, fandom has been providing, there are fics that have already healed something in me, so I hope they can make things better for you, while we all cry about how long a wait for the continuation is going to be. You. You were the last memory to pass by his mind before everything turned black. He wondered whether or not things would return back to normal after this whole mess. He wondered whether or not you were safe. He wondered whether or not he’d actually be able to see you again, or whether he’d just have his last memory of you to look at with his mind.

All he’d seen for a few months now, was bloodshed. And in the last few weeks, betrayal. He longed to see something else, something like you. Something that brought him calmness, peace and warmth, that’s what he felt like when with you.

A hard shell he was on the outside, but a soft warm center he was in the depths of his heart, so were you. Sure, he’s a hothead, violent as hell, but you dug deeper than that and found the softer parts of him, the much more vulnerable parts of him, but never did you judge him for it.

He was stuck in a mess now. A net. What was he to do now? Give up and let death consume him? Give up and fall under the control of Fukuchi? Or fight, fight until the end and wait to see you again? 

Love was something weird to him, something so very hard for him to express, but something so very dear to him as well. You didn’t know yet. You didn’t know this is what he harbored in his heart for you. His chest clenched with the thought of him never being able to tell you.

But he’d rather make sure you’re out of harm’s way than ever let you know, he’d rather face the pain of the latter. Would he even make it to tell you in the end?

He knows you’re strong, he knows you can take care of yourself, but with all the chaos going on in Yokohama, anyone would sooner or later lose their sanity. Has he lost his too? Only time will tell. He remembers you both once got drunk, you both spent the night under the stars, talking.

Talking about the silliest of things as well as the deepest truths of both your hearts. Your laughter rung in his ears, the sound he wished to hear now. Only his memory can he hear.

Trust. Trust was something delicate and strong at the same time. But that’s what eventually grew between the both of you. You eventually became his strength. And strength is what he needed right now.

He smiled. How could he not? When he remembered your touch, your face, your smile. Everything about you would make him smile, from your softness, to your sassy remarks, to your endurance, the list goes on, even your negative traits, they make him love you more. 

This is what happens when you love someone right? He wonders if you felt the same way about him, he’ll only get the answer if he survives this and if you survive as well.

scaramouche never joins the fatui. kinda relationship between kazuha/scaramouche/kazuha’s friend (tomo). not really kazuha-centric, but i thought this was prob the best place to put this fic, so oh well.

Oh boy, my mind was blown. Firstly, I didn’t realize he was just 19 years old. Secondly, I didn’t think he’d break free of the page thing where the Agency is made out to be terrorists. He’s so strong damnit. *spoilers* his eyes have been slashed and he’s been stabbed and hurt, but he’s still going strong. I really respect him now honestly, certainly my impression of him has changed

Hmm...perhaps the part where he realized the Agency members were in fact innocent, a part of me honestly, thought he knew they were innocent all along. Or maybe the latest bsd manga chapter that came out. I don’t really have a favorite moment
