If anyone is looking for something to do or something to give your kids to do here is something I used to use for years when I taught PE for my students. 52 Card Workout Step 1- Give each person 7 cards face down( you can make it as many as you want) Step 2 -Every time you flip over a card that will determine what’s exercise you do. Now pick I card from deck or pile & that will determine how long exercise will be for RED 30 seconds Black 1min ( you can make time long as you want) Step 3- You can do as many or as little rounds you want. What do you want in life for your health?Do you want to feel good & look a certain way that you are trying to achieve? I’ll say this if you feel better, move better, and have more confidence how much would you pay for that? Well you can have that all you have to do is simply stop with the excuses. Its not gonna be easy at first but It’s all achievable some just might have to work a little harder than other but that life & it’s not fair o well, deal with it don’t complain about it. There is no reason to why you can’t do something. The only thing that is stopping you is you. All day I hear things like: I can’t eat this bc I don’t like the taste, have no time to workout, or any other bullshit answer .Simply put it’s bullshit bc that’s just an excuse! Let’s be honest if you looked at all the time that you spend on social media or doing meaningless things then you could do things to better your health. Prep food, mange time better, not have those drinks of alcohol, maybe even no be able to troll social media as much. People don’t want to have to try a little harder bc it might be uncomfortable or fear of what others might say so they do the minimum or do a little of what is asked just to say they did something. All that shows is what you say & what you do are 2 different things. Clearly you just don’t want it as bad as you say you do. Nothing is gonna be changed by continuing to do the same things over and over. Clearly if it didn’t work the other times you did it then why do you thinks it’s gonna be different now? This is a great example of what I can do when I get a client who wants to change & will listen to what I say to do & doesn’t half ass it. I’m proud because he gets the idea of It’s not just saying I checked a box & show up its about wanting to learn how to better his life & doing it. Everything is a process & doesn’t happen overnight but it’s being committed to getting results. No bullshit cleanse or so some fad diets. We continue to modify his eating habits & create better ones. He trains 2-3 days a week follows exercise/eating plan & home instructons. He is down 20lbs over 6% bf & working on fixing his postural issues. We focus on losing body fat not so much about his weight & building muscle. We are just getting started, it’s a marathon not a sprint. Building healthy habits & little modifications to his lifestyle. Show up & put in the work with no excuses. Be 100% accountable & let go over control of what you used to do or what a coworker suggested you do.
