celebrate Juneteenth today by not only learning about it’s importance and things you can do everyday to be effectively anti-racist, but by also supporting Black businesses locally and otherwise. support is not only needed when Black people are murdered or treated unjustly, but also in life. signing a petition to arrest a killer cop is great, but it’s important to support Black life and culture (you gain enough from it anyways). this website has a great compilation of Black businesses of all kinds that you can support even in the comfort of your covid-free home. buy a few books and read them and dismantle all of the ways you and the people around you contribute to this white supremacist system.
