After the EA Play Conference I am very excited for Star Wars Battlefront 2. Gamers should be very happy with how EA Dice has developed the game and its content. The first game Star Wars: Battlefront was met with complaints and outrage from gamers due to its lack in single player content, paid seasons pass and underwhelming heroes. It feels like E.A, instead of ignoring its vocal fans and created the sequel as they see it should be, they have made a community sequel in the sense that all previous complaints have been heard and rectified. The sequel contains a compelling story following Iden Versio of Inferno Squadron who seeks to avenge the death of the emperor. The multiplayer function was the core experience of the original and it feels like E.A and the development team have made some strong changes to the environments that feel less baron and more true to the Star Wars franchise. The heroes in Star Wars Battlefront II appear to more specialised then the previous game with abilities and skills that can shift the tide of the battle. Most importantly, Electronic Arts will release free updates and ongoing support for years after its release. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is due to be released globally November 17. A new original intellectual property for Electronic Arts was announced today (AEST), A Way Out, from the same brilliant minds that brought us Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. An interesting concept forcing player to coordinate their efforts towards a single goal, a prison break. The game is a two player only experience that can be played through split screen or online multiplayer. Each player is playing simultaneously. Experiencing and manipulate events from the perspective of Leo and Vincent. Although we have only seen a trailer, the game looks promising and will provide a unique experience. Way Out will be available early 2018. For more information about the game visit https://www.ea.com/games/a-way-out.
