I love skulls, and when you mix in a little cultural flair in... it's all over! The first in a series of custom "Calaveritas" hand painted by The Beast Brothers dubbed "BLACK 13" was limited to just that... 13 pieces, and was available on Friday, January 13th, 2012! #Persona5 #Cosplay work-in-progress Part 3! Resin-casted belt buckle (Step-by-step). Inspired by @sharkimoto, @albertspetitesweets, and @thebeastbrothers to try this method. First, shaped the design using plastalina clay. (Hint: DO NOT use plastalina clay, btw, since you can't bake it. Use another type of clay that can). Next, created a mold using #AmazingMoldPutty (the yellow stuff). Then, mixed #AmazingCastingResin and poured it into mold. It's amazing stuff! It hardens into a very strong shape within 10 minutes. Painted it and applied a varnish and BOOM! Done. You can make a ton of stuff using this resin. Going into Mercado I knew that I wanted to donate a portion of everything I made to Mexico earthquake relief, and I was so thankful to get a moment with Ernesto @thebeastbrothers and @kristinadrakeart to get the 411 on what organizations are truly helping on the ground.
