I love skulls, and when you mix in a little cultural flair in... it's all over! The first in a series of custom "Calaveritas" hand painted by The Beast Brothers dubbed "BLACK 13" was limited to just that... 13 pieces, and was available on Friday, January 13th, 2012! Look what the came in the mail! A gorgeous Wallaverita via @thebeastbrothers , and my lousy pictures don’t do it justice. The actual piece is somewhat translucent with bits of glitter floating around in the candy-colored resin! I’ve loved this design for ages, so it’s great to have one on the wall watching us as we dream! (at Berwyn, Illinois)

#Persona5 #Cosplay work-in-progress Part 3! Resin-casted belt buckle (Step-by-step). Inspired by @sharkimoto, @albertspetitesweets, and @thebeastbrothers to try this method. First, shaped the design using plastalina clay. (Hint: DO NOT use plastalina clay, btw, since you can't bake it. Use another type of clay that can). Next, created a mold using #AmazingMoldPutty (the yellow stuff). Then, mixed #AmazingCastingResin and poured it into mold. It's amazing stuff! It hardens into a very strong shape within 10 minutes. Painted it and applied a varnish and BOOM! Done. You can make a ton of stuff using this resin.
