I saw the trailer from "The Bad Guys 2" a while ago and thought "Hmm... Maybe I should do a screenshot redraw fanart of that... But NOT from that scene" and this came out. Not my best work, especially from the *background, but at least it was a good practice out of my regular, anthro style. It would be fun to practice more as a break of my own projects from time to time, any suggestions?

Merry (Late) Christmas and Happy Holidays for those who celebrate! Hoping next year will be a great one for all of us, do you have any hopes and dreams for it?

*I will get an art book about it at some point, since I want to do world building, after all.

Okay, it's said that Doom is gonna be manupilating Snake by pretending to be his girlfriend...

I can't help but imagine Doom trying to get close to the Bad Guys via Snake so he can trick them into working with her team... Only for her to start to grow attached to the gang as she learns of their history, and how they act as one big goofy family.

There could be a wholesome scene where Wolf talks to Doom about Snake and their history. With Wolf wanting to be sure Doom will be the one to keep Snake happy if she is serious about being with him.

The whole experience causes her to have second thoughts and leaves her stuck in a mental battle, not wanting to betray Kitty like Diane did, but not wanting Snake and The Bad Guys to be hurt either.

This totally isn't gonna happen. 😅 But it would make for a good fan fic.

Snake: Fine... She is okay? I guess. She is a bit mean, but nice to be with?

Doom: Uhhh, fine... He is a grump, but a likeable grump. Why?

Rhonda: In one universe, your relationship is up to interpretation... In another it's... obvious...

And some... aren't the most happy about it, putting it lightly.

I have seen snippets of The Bad Guys 2 trailer. 🤩

TRAILER SPOILERS:

Snake has a canonical girlfriend? I kind of expected this would happen considering the implied relationship with Doom in the books. (The kiss scene ewwww. 😵‍💫)

If this is the case, then it's most likely Wolf and Diane are canon too. Their relationship was heavily implied in the first movie, and it's clear it goes on full romance in the books. Heck, even one of the artists who worked on the movie gave them a fan child. So yeah, Wolfington is gonna be a thing for the sequel, no question. 🤣

That doesn't mean we can't still get wholesome moments between Wolf and Snake. I really hope they show the two having their first meeting. Maybe even a scene where Snake tries to save Wolf by getting a escape pod and the two have a heart to heart like in the book.

Speaking of Doom, she is different. She is actually smiling now. 🤣 Like no longer crazy goth mode.

Hogwild. YES! I think they did her good from what I seen, I just want to see what kind of personality she has. I would like to see her be energentic while being kind like Piranha. The two would make a wild duo. 😄

Pam? I don't know... She looks... Like a monkey rather than a cat. 😅

Wolf... Get's a job? I guess he learned that just being good by itself doesn't pay the bills.

MISTY LUGGINS IS BACK! YES! I enjoy her dynamic with The Bad Guys! Her always trying to keep a close eye on them. 🤣

Diane Vs Pam. I theorized this would happen, now we are getting it. Diane really lets loose aganist her.

No Rhonda... Hmmm... I guess they are saving her for a possible sequel after all. She is Diane/Ellen's teacher after all.

I am curious to see how Marmalade fits into all of this. I really hope they make Cuddles the alien this time to subvert expectations. I want the guinea pig to remain a guinea pig.

Now, here is hoping that this movie is as good as the first. 😅

I took a glimpse at the wiki and I've seen people's opinions about Snake's fate in book 20.

BOOK 20 SPOILERS:

I don't believe Snake is under a life-lasting illness, nor has his life gotten worse since he has became normal again.

He is recovering.

Like a addict who is making a journey to recover from addiction. Snake was addicted to power and locked himself up in a room and pushed everyone out of his life. Dissatisfied with the world around him.

Here, he is experiencing the world and admiring it. He has also allowed others into his life like Ellen and Joy. He has true friendships and is able to stand on his own without Wolf's help (reference to his development in books 7 and 9).

He may be sick now, but he can only get better. He has all his friends by his side.

THE BAD GUYS BOOK 20 SPOILERS:

You remember the talk about Snake having a movie night with Joy?

Well I decided to draw that movie night, since Book Snake needed some more wholesome moments.

To top it off, Wolf was able to make it back in time for movie night too, I mean he has all the time in the world now. 🤣

Wolf and Ellen were invited to join them to laugh at cheesy romantic comedies. Rhonda was even invited too, which is a suprise to her as she was never invited to any hangouts as "The One".

All five sharing a huge cozy blanket Snake sewed himself. Turns out he has a hobby for sewing clothes and blankets. He was just too shy to admit it, until now that is.

This is one of many happy nights for Cedric, with many more to come. ☺️
