Where are you from? What is your time zone? Canada, TOA Standard Time.

How long is your roleplay experience? I've been roleplaying on Tumblr specifically for about 9 years now, but on the internet as a whole since I was first let on here unsupervised so who knows. If I had friends to play with as a kid, probably a lot sooner irl too.

How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? I think it was first through Gaia Online roleplay forums for Kingdom Hearts, then later I moved to Quizilla where I was actually kinda semi-popular.

How were you introduced to TOA? Ree showed up in my dms and said "quit modding FERP. Join my new server." and then later that month I was there.

Do you have any pets? No, but I have two cats back home with my parents.

What is your favorite time of year and why? (Season, holiday, general period) Fall and early Spring, because most of my wardrobe is geared towards then.

What is your IRL occupation? Customer Support Specialist for a video game company, but I just transferred out of Quality Assurance.

Some interests and things you like/enjoy? Video games in general, musical theatre, mythology, fairy tales.

What non-Fire Emblem games do you play? Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Suikoden, Persona, Planet Zoo/Zoo Tycoon, Eiyuden Chronicles, In Stars and Time, I can go on forever.

I trained in theatre and studied sword fighting/stage combat.

I'm allergic to peanuts.

The doctor told my mom to avoid all nuts as a result, and aside from the Nutella they made me eat during my latest test, I have yet to eat any nuts willingly.

My mom lost me on a cruise ship when I was 4.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? My friend was playing Awakening and would let me try it, but not let me make any save files, so I played the first few maps over and over until I was able to eventually get my own copy and make it past the first three chapters.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? Tellius games, Awakening, Fates games, Shadows of Valentia, Warriors Games, Three Houses/Hopes, and Engage.

Do you believe you have a type of character you gravitate towards writing? (If you filled this out last year, has this changed in any way?) People who say one thing but mean another and won't communicate their feelings clearly. This doesn't say anything about me as a person.

Do you have characters or types of characters you don’t think you can handle writing, but wish you could? I want to try an antagonist at some point but I lack the emotional willpower to go up to three muses for long. I also don't think I could handle writing a lord or someone important, I like my guys who don't matter.

What kind of scenes, situations etc do you believe you enjoy writing the most? (If you filled this out last year, has this changed in any way?) I don't know how to explain this because it's v vibe base. I like when there's emotional tension. I like seeing interactions between other characters weave together. I like building towards something bigger. Scenes where someone breaks and finally talks about something they've been holding back.

Do you have any scenario in mind for your muse(s) that gets you thinking “man I hope I get to write this one day”? I want to force Yunaka to talk about her past with people I want that shit to get dragged out to the open I want that shell cracked open to the meat baby.

Favorite TOA-related memories? Happyland2024 was a lot of fun and I'm glad that was my first lore event back, I had a great time with everyone. Team Justice will always be dear to me, as that was the moment that really got me hooked on TOA. Getting Nat's Innes' name in babe hunt just to beat Lilly's Cynthia and Lilly's reaction always makes me laugh.

Present or past tense? Lately I've been doing present more but the thing about me is that if I stop thinking for two seconds I change tense without noticing.

First ever? If you go back far enough that I didn't really realize it was a crush, probably Storm from X-Men. And Gambit. Tommy the Green Power Ranger. In terms of the first one I recognized as a crush? Probably Tobias from Animorphs (the book series).

First off I love the British English spelling of things, so I am not correcting it. Second, green.

This changes a whole lot over time. Right now it is anything by Maneskin, but I also daydream with most songs, NGL. I also just daydream a lot. The fact that my inattentive ADHD went undiagnosed for so long is a goddamned wonder.

What’s the worst injury you’ve ever had: Fell on my back when I was in kindergarten as part of a lateral rope climb thing in gym class, I’d think? There were no mats on the floor, and I got taken to the hospital after that. Couldn’t sit on my ass for two weeks...

Do you have any obsessions right now: Let’s see. Just finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed (I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS EXPANSION and do I want to add Rex as a muse now??? not to say I’ve really got an active Xeno mutual though, at least I think)... Soon enough, I know it’ll be Tears of the Kingdom taking up all of my free time, so... yanno, apologies in advance.

But right now? I’m actually shiny-hunting the legendaries in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, at least before I sell it since I’m ultimately tapped out with the game (just... really not a fan of the GO-style catching mechanic, even if shiny-hunting is easier here). CHARACTER NAME: lestat de lioncourt CHARACTER FACECLAIM: sam reid CHARACTER AGE/DOB (if relevant/they're not old af): november 7th, 1760. changed in 1790 at almost 29 years old. 263 years old now technically. CHARACTER PRONOUNS/GENDER IDENTITY/SEXUALITY ETC: he/they, genderfluid, bisexual/biromantic/polyam CHARACTER FANDOM (if relevant): the vampire chronicles OC OR CANON: canon CHARACTER TYPE (for example: vampire, witch, human, etc): vampire ARE THEY ASSOCIATED WITH ANY GROUPS/COVENS/ETC: it's been a long time really since lestat has been to overly associated with anyone. isolation has been his Thing for,,, a while. but now though, he's curious about the people hes held close over the years. he wants to reconnect. hes loyal to his band, of course, and there's no denying that louis will always, really, be his home. WHERE ARE THEY PRIMARILY LOCATED NOW: mostly in london, england! it's where he discovered the band, its a place he'd never been to before and came to instantly fall in love with. he has an insanely lavish penthouse apartment in london, high above it all.

IMPORTANT CHARACTER INFORMATION TO NOTE AND SHARE (this could be important headcanons for initial plotting, bios etc, supporting docs):

being the youngest in his family, born at the time he was, lestat de lioncourt had very little guidance in life. there would be no inheritance, no lands or fortunes for the youngest child. and so, he set about trying to find his own path. from early education with a monastery, to attempting to run off with a group of travelling actors, most of lestat's pursuits, explorations into freedom, at stunted by his father and brothers who continuously crush his dreams and pull him back home. it isn't, in fact, until an event of killing wolves to protect his village, that lestat meets someone who will help change his like. nicolas de lenfent. the two become quickly enamored with one another and, with lestat's mother's permission, the two run away to paris together.

here, lestat comes to work at a theatre, eventually becoming adored by many for his artistic talents and ways of charming the audience members. however, it is during these performances that lestat catches the eye of someone else-- someone who changes his life in a much different way to nicolas.

magnus, an ancient vampire, kidnaps lestat and he is held for a long while. all around him, dead bodies of boys that looks exactly like him. the same hair, the same eyes. only of course, these lack all life. and in truth, lestat fears he will eventually become one of them. but when instead, he is given the dark gift and transformed into a vampire, lestat is perhaps only more lost and confused. even more so when his maker, soon after changing him, abandons him, throwing himself into the fire and committing suicide-- barely a few words of his vampiric nature exchanged, and a mere gesture toward a hoard of money and gold and such, all given to lestat, magnus' sole fledgling.

lestat's time adjusting to immortality, to his new taste for blood is… well. precisely that. one hell of an adjustment. and at first, admittedly, lestat isolates himself from the likes of nicki. he keeps close by, buying the theatre out for example, but in general, keeps his distance. until that is, when his mother comes to paris to seek him out.

lestat's time in paris is highlighted with a mixture of chaos and pain. from giving his mother and nicki the dark gifts, to colliding with the paris coven and armand, things are never truly easy and eventually, after much pain, lestat parts and buries himself deep in the ground as a way to cope with the things he had been through in his time since becoming a vampire.

when he is awakened by the vampire marius, things grow complicated once again. from consuming marius' blood, to learning the truth of the vampiric origins-- to meeting Those Who Must Be Kept, the rulers of the vampiric world and being offered to drink the queen akasha's blood… things are, as always for lestat, rather messy and chaotic. and when he is nearly killed by akasha's husband in a jealous rage, marius instructs lestat to leave.

and this… this is when lestat travels to america. this, is when he meets louis de pointe du lac. his saint louis, his destiny. their story is one of love and joy, of tragedy and blood. lestat loves louis with all his heart, but as always, lestat is terrified at the idea of being left and abandoned. it makes him intense, volatile. his relationship with louis, and then later, with the addition of claudia, is never smooth. and in fact, it wraps up with lestat being assumed dead, killed by the pair.

it isn't until years later, in paris again, that the truth comes out. lestat had survived. only… to return and be a part of the reason claudia is killed and louis is trapped… it sends lestat spiralling. and when he leaves paris again, he spends a long, long time grieving. eaten alive by his guilt and heart break.

it isn't until 2022 in fact, that he perhaps feels life flicker inside of him again…

after reuniting with louis, after spending a good couple of months with one another-- lost in one another, reclaiming stolen time-- the two agree to part ways for a bit. they have things they need to figure out, things to come to terms with. and lestat-- he throws himself back into the world, finds his passion again, his beating heart. and where better to pour himself, than into the creative arts-- into music.

it is in london, that lestat finds a true calling: a certain band, as well as a certain writer and newly turned vampire to help tell his story…

hold on let me chronicle the crazy ass way i met my boyfriend rq:

- starts out with me being in highschool theatre. i was a bit of a slut (positive) and there were two boys who had crushes on me (this is important)

- one of them adds me to a discord (???) in order to win my affections (both of them are in this discord so im not sure what the plan was)

- the discord is basically split into two houses: one part is mostly theater kids from my highschool. the other, by some miracle, consists of boys from the local private school in our area*

*note: these two groups DESPISE one another. im not sure how the discord even worked to this day.

- the first guy introduces me to the private school boys, who are generally pretty cool and we get on pretty well

- one of the private school boys and i were chatting it up in dms, getting to know one another over our shared love or phantom of the paradise. he then asks me to a dance thats being hosted by their bougie ass school and offers to pay for dinner.

- i recognize “ah! this is a date type ordeal” and suddenly make the decision that while this dude is pretty cool, im way not into him like that, so i decline. he totally gets it and drops the subject

- a few days after this rejection i begin to regret turning him down, seeing as hes not a bad dude but more importantly after finding out the dinner would be at red lobster, and i can really fuck up some cheddar bay biscuits

- and suddenly, like an angel sent on high, one of my friends from the theatre company im in posts on her story what is, with lack of a better term, an advertisement for another boy our age on her instagram. now, this guy i recognize is in the aforementioned discord and also from the same private school as the first guy. however! the advertisement includes three things:

- his name and details

- the fact that he’s not a creep

- and the fact that he will pay for dinner

- so naturally, i slide up and ask for the deets. she gives them to me and a hit him up on discord. hes pretty awkward, seeing as we’ve literally never talked before, but we come to a mutual agreement that he needs a date and i need cheddar bay biscuits

- chaos ensues. my friends learn that im going on what is essentially a blind date with a rich private school boy and they are in shambles. my dating life is insane. the men are fuming. meanwhile, im picking out what dress will best cover the food baby i plan to have after eating about 17 cheddar bay biscuits.

- fast forward to the night in question. im looking great, i have a chin length bob, a tan velvet dress, and the ugliest fucking chunky velvet heels youve ever seen. the ensemble was truly a product of its time.

- as was tradition, all of the girls got ready at my house. one by one, their dates arrive (also private school boys.) one of the dates was the guy that first asked me to the dance. everyone arrives but one- my date.

- im checking the clock frantically, thinking “oh shit. ive been stood up” when suddenly a black honda civic rolls in. suddenly i am filled with dread as another teenage boy in a suit steps out. this is the most attractive man at the party, and holy shit, thats my date.

- now im panicking. the photos didnt do him justice. this guy was hot! i remember thinking “he didnt text like a hot guy? how is this possible” as hes walking in the door. his friends all greet him, and hes chatting with them until he walks over to me. we kind of mumble some greetings to eachother, both pretty awkward. the tension is palpable and everyone else is making fun of us until my mom walks in and demands pictures.

- we proceed to take what is, to this day, the funniest photo i have ever seen. there are two other couples on the group/ both of them are hugged up and clearly romantic in the photo. meanwhile me and the mystery man? a solid 5 feet apart. i wish i was kidding. it was like something out of a movie.

- after taking some horribly awkward photos we all move to get into our cars and head off to dinner. im sweating at this point. as i get into the mystery man’s car im panicking. my anxiety has set in- this outing is going to suck. it’s silent in the car for a good 30 seconds, only to be interrupted by

- “do you like music?” the question catches me off guard. what the fuck. ‘do you like music?’ what kind of question is that? i try to keep it together but suddenly im laughing. this would be extremely inappropriate- except now hes laughing too. i ask him what kind of question is that? and he replies i dont know, maybe you hate music. we’re laughing again

- several conversations happen in succession. we talk about the music. then we start talking about red lobster. this of course leads us to the song rock lobster, which he plays. we begin to talk about lobster economics and society under the sea. this is the strangest man ive met in my fucking life.

- we get to the red lobster and its an absolute blast. the food was terrible but the biscuits and the company are good. these are some of the funniest people ive ever met. i misjudged them, this table full of private school kids wasnt as bad as their reputation led me to believe.

- the dance goes equally well. me and the boy dont slow dance or anything but we knew it wasnt a ‘date’. i began to wish that it was. he wasnt a bad guy. one of the guys is wearing a pillows shirt under his suit. my guy was wearing a weezer shirt. pillows guy is breakdancing. the orderbs were fucking terrible. theres a photo booth. the whole thing is hosted in our local art museum and it is beautiful.

- were driving home, chronicling the wvents of the night. it was superb. as were driving back to my house he gets silent. were about to turn into my driveway when he blurts out “do you want to do this again?” i say yes. our first date is, keeping in theme, olive garden. we have been dating since.

not sleepover yet, but i came to rant about my crush

it's this guy i went to high school with and i never cared much about him - i mean, he was nice, smart, somehow funny and he began to date this girl i secretly had a crush on because she was soooo beautiful in a different way, but anyway

over the years we ended up closer and now we're... not friends, but you know, something similar. and he's SO... i don't even know. like he's not handsome, but he's cute in some sort of way, and when he starts to talk (cult smart things he says) all i can think is "shut up and kiss me" and i kinda hate myself for it because he's the cliche smart sensible guy, we talk a lot about movies, books, music and politics (and cats and like he's scared of freaking chickens) and I'm still into him AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

but anyway, nothing's gonna happen because I think it's more of a platonic thing you know, and I'm secretly afraid something happen and he thinks I'm dumb or shallow or i don't know because he's so evolved and he writes chronicles that are crazy good.

i had a crush on a girl for a bit in highschool n she was the literal exact opposite of the dude i was crushing on too. she was a cheerleader but we were both in theatre together n she was soooo pretty and nice. and she was straight. bc im fantastic at picking people to crush on LMAO but yk how teenagers are ig crushes don't really make sense.

a lot of my friends ended up getting married out of high school and i was rlly worried i was gonna yk. DIE ALONE despite the fact that im barely into my early twenties but The Doom(tm) hit. took me a while to get comfortable w being single but i like to think i handle it well(ish)
