Hopping on the #Disember sleigh for this post. I love a good prompt list and @whitneypollett, @theanimatedlife and @lb.illustrates delivered. The prompt was “snow” which immediately made me think of the fairies in Fantasia for some reason. Not sure how many of these I’ll do but it’s a great way to get the creative juices flowing.

Did a #STIYD by #theanimatedlife since it seemed interesting. The third picture was the reference and then I edited it a bit to better fit my own chubbier body and my favourite outfit :)

Edit: I drew this in 2021. It is now 2024. It is not my favorite outfit anymore as it no longer exists anymore but I still love it regardless.. but my hair is longer and my natural hair roots are showing now :)

his challenge is awesome as it explore my animation school roots when I do character design when I see this and thought I’ll take this one,well here’s my entry for @theanimatedlife #characterdevelopmentchallenge with this lovely lady and I named her dorothee anne (which I named after some French ballerinas) who is the principal ballerina in the Paris opera,she is the mother hen to the corps de ballet and the girls here,she in her time help christine to be the principal dancer while not knowing that she is a talented singer til she did the think of me aria.she’s the only dancer that is part of the angry mob that is after the phantom after the Don Juan drama/chandelier crash here,I use that hair that she put in for her basic look.I also do the il muto ballet look 🩰 and her nightwear here if you want me to doodle her more let me know here 🫶🏻#characterdesign #characterillustration#character-concept #characterdevelopment #theartjoyofbeth#artjoyofbeth #artjoybethsketches #sketchesbyartjoy#illustration #illustragram
