An eventful holiday - Thea Queen x Male!reader
A/N: based off the 1x09 holiday episode because I've started a DC show rewatch and forgot how much of a crush I used to have on Thea
When Oliver came back from the dead he had a lot of new things he had to adjust to, one of the hardest being that his little sister who was only twelve the last time he saw her was now seventeen with a boyfriend.
He wanted an opportunity to bring his family closer after learning they stopped celebrating Christmas when he and his father went missing so Oliver planned a big Christmas party to make up for lost time.
However he didn't expect you to be invited as Thea's plus one.
He, Thea, Moira and Walter just got their photo taken when you walk in holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Hi, uh Thea invited me," you say seeing the angry look on Oliver's face, "Mrs. Queen these are for you."
You hand Moira the flowers and she thanks you, Thea kissing you on the cheek and showing you to the food table.
"I didn't get a chance to tell you how amazing you look tonight," you smile, grabbing a christmas cookie and taking a bite of it.
"You clean up pretty nice yourself," she says, drinking a glass of champagne and taking in the sight of you in your suit.
"Well I wanted to impress your brother, I don't think he likes me very much," you admit.
"Because he doesn't know you and he still doesn't want to believe I'm not a little kid anymore," she tells you.
"Maybe we should hang out sometime, just the three of us so he and I can actually get to know each other," you suggest.
"You're putting in a lot of effort to get the approval of my brother," she chuckles.
"That's because I love you, I want him to know that I'm serious about us and would never do anything to hurt you."
Thea smiles and kisses you sweetly, putting her empty glass down on the table, "I love you too and I think we should go upstairs for some privacy so I can give you your christmas present."
"But we exchanged gifts already," You say confused as you and Thea had a small get together with your family a few days prior.
"This is the part of your gift that I couldn't give you in front of your parents," she grins.
You had no idea what was in store for you but you quickly down a glass of champagne as she takes your hand and guides you towards the stairs.
Oliver sees this and glares at you, about to follow you two with intentions of kicking you out of the party but his mother puts her hand on his shoulder to stop him.
"Let them be Oliver," Moira says calmly.
"You're really okay with what they are going to do up there?" Oliver huffs.
"They are young and in love, in case you've forgotten your father and I tried to stop you sneaking around with girls when you were their age and yet you still always found a way," she chuckles.
"She's not ready to be in a relationship this serious," Oliver states.
"And you were?" Moira laughs, "you have to accept that Thea is not the same twelve year old she was when you left."
"Excuse me mom, I need to get some air," Oliver sighs, heading to the front door.
Meanwhile upstairs you are sitting on Thea's bed as she locks her door, sauntering towards you and climbing in your lap.
"Go ahead and unzip my dress," she says and you reach up, pulling the zipper down her chest to reveal the black lacy bra she has underneath.
"Wow," you mutter, the top of her dress falling off her shoulders and bunching around her waist.
"You like it?" She asks it.
"You are so beautiful Thea," you say putting your hands on her waist and kissing her deeply.
The kiss intensifies, Thea slipping your suit jacket off and tossing it to the floor before unbuttoning your shirt.
You pick her up and flip her over, letting her get comfortable against the pillows.
Thea moans softly as you kiss down her neck and along her chest while pulling her dress the rest of the way off her body exposing the lacy black panties that matched her bra.
"Merry Christmas Y/N," she says, biting her lip.
"This just may be the best gift I've ever received," you mutter, your lips traveling along her stomach which results in her hips rocking up for any form of friction.
You spend a while exploring her body and working her up, fully enjoying your gift, your fingers are gently rubbing her over the lace and her arousal is starting to soak through the material so you finally rid her of it.
You stand up and remove the rest of your clothes as well but look around, "Wait where's my jacket?"
You spot it on the floor and dig around in the inside pocket pulling a condom out.
"Were you expecting to get laid tonight?" Thea teases as she lifts her chest up to unclip her bra and tosses it aside.
"Not at all but it's always better to be prepared right," you chuckle, taking the condom out and rolling it on.
You reposition yourself back on top of her, spreading her legs apart and settling in between them.
Thea gasps when you ease the tip of your cock inside her, slowly pushing it the rest of the way in.
"Does this feel okay?" You ask and she nods.
You give a few rolls of your hips so she has a chance to adjust before you find a more steady rhythm.
She throws her head back, her chest in the air so you take the opportunity to nip at her neck and collarbones.
"Just like that," she moans, grasping at the sheets under her.
After a few minutes she feels her release approaching and reaches down, rubbing firm circles over her clit.
"I'm so close," she groans.
"Me too," you grunt, picking up the pace.
With just a few more thrusts Thea is cumming, her walls tightening around your cock and her eyes rolling back.
Seeing her like this takes you over the edge as well, riding out your highs together.
After cleaning yourselves up you're blissfully laying naked in her bed, a sheet loosely around your waists with her head on your chest when there's an urgent knocking on her door.
"Thea make yourself decent quickly, Diggle just called and Oliver's been in a motorcycle accident we need to go to the hospital right away," her mother says through the door with an obvious worry in her voice.
"Oh my god," Thea says, jumping out of bed and grabbing her clothes off the floor.
"Hey, what can I do for you?" You ask trying to comfort her as you both get redressed.
Thea opens her door surprised to see her mom is still standing there.
"Y/N you can help by seeing our guests out after we leave," Moira says.
"Of course Mrs. Queen," you say awkwardly, pulling your suit jacket on and kissing Thea's forehead before heading downstairs.
"Walter is bringing the car around," Moira says as they follow suit, "and Thea dear fix your dress, I do hope you two were using protection in there."
"Mom now is not the time for that!" Thea yelps in embarrassment realizing her dress is still half unzipped.
Well this certainly was the most eventful holiday Thea has had in a long time.

Summary: When that yacht went down, you lost everything. But now, Oliver is back
A/N: Welcome to book place’s one year event!!
Inspired by: Paradise by Coldplay
Please don’t plagiarize my work, you may reblog if you like but I’m asking that you don’t steal my hard work
When she was just a girl, she expected the world
“Have fun,” You smiled as you hugged your father, turning your head to place a kiss on his cheek.
He matched your smile, hugging you back tightly, “Don’t get too comfortable around here without us,” He teased, “We’ll be back before you know it.”
“We’re counting on it.” Your mother said with a smile, watching as her husband turned to her with a large grin.
As the two of them said goodbye, you turned towards your twin brother, and you scoffed playfully, “Just get out of here.” You rolled your eyes but couldn’t hold back the smile that broke out on your face.
He matched your sarcasm by crossing his arms over his chest and lightly glaring at you, “Yeah, yeah, I’ll miss you too.”
The grin widened on your face and you took a step forward, wrapping your arms around Oliver’s torso as he hugged you back in return.
Your brother turned his head slightly and planted a kiss on the side of your head in his own farewell.
“Make sure the yacht doesn’t sink.” You joked, not quite understanding the power behind your words.
“Don’t worry,” Oliver reached out and teasingly ruffled your hair, “I know how to swim.”
But it flew away from her reach
“-and then the boat went down,” The officer in front of you had his hat off and he stared at the three of you sympathetically.
Immediately, Thea fell against your mother with a loud cry leaving her lips as tears began to roll down her face like a waterfall. Moira tightly grasped onto her and held her to her chest while they sobbed together for the loss of your father and brother.
But you stood there, feet rooted in place and heart frozen over, you were sure that it had stopped beating.
Your brother- your twin brother- was dead. Your other half was gone. And though the two of you didn’t always see eye to eye on everything, you were still each other's best friend. You knew everything about each other and now that he was gone, you were certain that you would fade away into nothing.
Because without Oliver, where did you stand? How could you be expected to walk through life without your partner in crime by your side?
You were barely able to register the way your mother moved to wrap an arm around you, and how her and Thea clung to you. But you were still yet to move, to show any sign of what you were feeling, to look away from the officer.
“I understand that this is a lot to take in-“ He didn’t even finish his sentence before you slammed the door in his face.
Thea and your mother whipped their heads up and their lips parted in shock to see your arm still outstretched to where you closed the door.
Without a word, you shrugged off their hands and turned on your heel and walked away.
So she ran away in her sleep
“At least take a moment to think about this,” Moiras voice was desperate, begging, “We barely just had a their funeral, I don’t think you’re in the right state of mind-“
You cut her off as you slammed down the top of your suitcase and leveled a glare at her, “I am in the right frame of mind,” You moved around her to begin collecting things off of your desk and placing them in a bag, “And what I’m thinking is that I need to get the hell out of the place that’s reminding me so much of my dead father and twin brother.”
The words made her recoil, as if struck, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to care. You had spoken the truth, it hurt more to stay in a place that reminded you so much of them than not.
“You can’t just leave your family at a time like this,” She whispered, eyes filling up with tears.
It seemed like all of you had cried enough tears to last a lifetime after the reality of the situation had finally crashed over you at the funeral and you had broken down in a pile of sobs. You were surprised to see that she could still cry, you had thought that all three of you would have long since run out of tears.
Finally, you sighed and gently placed your bag down, softening at your mothers voice and making your way over to where she stood before wrapping your arms around her, “It’ll be alright,” It was an empty promise, and you both knew it.
She sniffled, holding you against her tightly and whispering in your ear, “Where are you even going?”
You cleared your throat, slowly pulling away, “I don’t know yet.” You answered honestly, “But I promise I’ll call you soon to let you know I’m alright.”
There was hesitation and fear clear as day present in her face, but you paid it no mind as you picked your bags up and made your way out of the room, bidding her one last farewell.
You froze in your steps though when you sucked in a sharp breath. Thea was standing right outside your door, staring up at you with those wide eyes of hers.
“Where are you going?” She asked softly.
A sigh left your lips and you gently brought the girl in for a hug, “I just have to go away for a little while, Thea,” You whispered, “I need to clear my head.”
She bit down on her lip and averted her gaze from your own, “For how long?”
“I don’t know. But I promise, I will be back.”
Dreamed of para-para-paradise
Your eyes snapped open and you flew up into a sitting position, breathing coming out rapidly and in gasping spurts.
It had been three years since the yacht went down and you were still yet to come home after all that time. You had moved to a nearby city, only communicating with your family every so often to let them know that you were still alright.
But no matter how much time passed, you could never shake that feeling of wrongness.
Somewhere inside you, against every bone of better judgment, you believed that Oliver was still alive. You knew it was wrong and you knew that it was nothing but false hope. But no matter what you tried, no matter how much you begged yourself to move on, you couldn’t.
How could you? After being told what had happened and it was as if half of your soul had been ripped out?
The nightmares began the day you recived the news. Senerios flashing in your mind of what could have happened. Of all the different painful ways your brother could have died. Your mind was a never ending torment of the whole thing.
Once you were finally able to get your breathing under control, you dropped your head into your hands and ran them down your face with a groan.
Your head picked up after a moment and your eyes subconsciously found the small picture frame that sat on your beside table.
In it, Oliver had his arm slung over your shoulder with a wide grin as you doubled over laughing at something that he undoubtedly said. It was your sixteenth birthday and you both looked so happy, so free. So oblivious to what was to come.
It had taken you about two and a half years before you could put that picture up without feeling like you were painfully being stabbed in the heart. But even now, it wasn’t the easiest thing to look at.
Para-para-paradise, para-para-paradise
Five years. That’s how long it’s been. That’s how much time passed and you had finally, after all these years, begun to learn how to burden your pain correctly. How to be able to still live your life without him by your side.
That’s why you decided to return home for the first time since the funeral.
Just a few days ago, you had called home with the news and both your mother and Thea seemed ecstatic, much to your relief. You had been worried that they would scoff and turn their noses up at you that you were finally coming back after all these years of pushing them away.
It wouldn’t be a permanent move, just for a few days, to see how things were. Because despite everything you had been through in the last few years, you still had a life that you built in your new home for yourself, and you weren’t quite ready to abandon it entirely.
Now, as you stood, staring up at your childhood home, the one you had almost never dreamed of returning to, you were hit with a wave of reluctance.
What if too much had changed over the years? What if your family had just felt inclined to allow you back, only doing so because of the guilt that they felt?
You nawed on your bottom lip as you contemplated the possibilities, but ultimately came to the conclusion that you needed to get over yourself and you confidently pushed the door open with slightly more force than was probably necessary.
“Y/n?” Thea’s voice bounced off the walls and reached your ears the second you stepped into the entryway.
Quickly, your head snapped over to where your sister who was not so little anymore and smiling brightly, came bounding down the stairs and flinging herself across the room to come crashing into your arms.
“Thea,” You breathed out, allowing your eyes to flutter shut in contempt as you hugged her tightly to your chest. You had missed her far too much.
A new voice- more like a gasp- reached your ears and you opened your eyes to come face to face with your mother.
Quietly, Thea slipped out of your hold and stepped back to give you and your mother a moment.
Moira brought a shaky hand up to her mouth as tears filled in her eyes. It was almost as if she hadn’t expected you to actually come today.
“Hey, mom,” You greeted quietly, being the one to take the striding steps to meet her where she stood in the doorway and wrap your arms around her.
“Oh,” She breathed out, hugging you to her tightly and placing a tearful kiss on the side of your head, “I missed you so much, sweetheart.”
Every time she closed her eyes
You let out a loud laugh, throwing your head back and letting your eyes crinkle up as giggles left your mothers and sisters lips as well at the story Moira had just told.
The three of you were sitting around the dining room table, chatting about what had happened in the last five years and eating lunch.
At first, you thought it would be an awkward and stiff conversation, but you soon realized that your family missed you just as much as you had missed them, so you were able to flow into a lunch that consisted of laughter and catching up.
“Ma’am,” A voice tentatively called out from the doorway, a worker stood there hesitantly, seemingly embarrassed for interrupting, “There’s a phone call for you.”
Moira was still sobering up her chuckles as she answered, “Take a message and tell them I’ll get back to them as soon as I can.”
“Ma’am,” She said again, a little bit more confident this time, “It’s the hospital.”
All three of you fell into complete silence as the words dawned on you. The only family you still had was sitting in this room, so what could they want?
Wordlessly, your mother stood up and followed the worker out of the room, leaving you and Thea to share a worried glance behind her back.
A few moments later, you heard a sharp gasp come from the direction and you and your sister immediately shot to your feet and rushed into the room.
Your mother stood in the middle of the room with a phone grasped tightly in her hand and tears flowing freely down her face with a hand placed over her mouth for the second time that day.
“Mom? Mom?” Panic began settling in the pit of your stomach as you hurried to her side and gently took a hold of one of her shoulders, “What is it? What’s wrong?”
Painfully slow, she turned her body to face you and over her shoulder you could see Thea watching the two of you with worry.
Your mother then breathed out the one thing that made your heart stop.
“Oliver…”
“Ollie?” Thea came to your side, “What about him?”
“He’s… he’s alive.” Moira cried out, dropping the phone onto the carpeted floor and throwing her arms around the two of you.
But you were frozen in shock.
Oliver was alive. Oliver was alive. Oliver was alive. Oliver was alive. Oliver was-
“Oh my god,” You sobbed out, legs giving out and falling to the floor. You could no longer support yourself.
He was alive.
When she was just a girl she expected the world
“He’s right through here,” You barely even registered the doctor's words as he led you through the halls, “But just be careful Mrs and Miss Queen, this isn’t the same Oliver that you lost.”
Forcefully, Moira made herself plant her feet as she watched you practically float through the air and towards the door that had just been guestered to. As much as she longed to follow after you, she knew that you needed more than anyone to go in before a single other person could see him. She owed you that much.
For some incomprehensible reason, your mind was completely blank, almost as if you had gone into autopilot. Nothing of what you had done as soon as you heard the news had been by your own free will. It was as if something had possessed you and tossed your conscience to the side.
You opened the door and took a step inside. The snapping sound of it closing seemed to finally break you out of whatever trance you had been placed in and you blinked once. Twice.
A very tall figure that stood with his back facing towards you turned around at the sound, and you felt like you were going to pass out.
He was Oliver Jonas Queen, there was no doubt about it, but he had changed so much. He was taller, more muscular, so much more mature looking.
There was something behind those stunning blue eyes of his that automatically led you to believe that he had become a guarded man, holding secrets that you couldn’t even begin to guess.
Something about being on that island- as you had briefly been informed on the way over- had changed him. The only thing you couldn’t tell from a single glance was if it was for better or worse.
“Ollie,” You breathed out. It was the only thing that you could say.
“N/n,” He smiled softly, striding across the room and gently wrapped his strong arms around you.
“I-I-“ You stuttered incomprehensibly before throwing your arms around his torso in a desperate manner, “Ollie-“ You sobbed into his chest, a fresh set of tears emerging from your eyes and staining his- no doubt- new shirt.
He didn’t seem to care in the slightest though, only strengthening his hold around you, letting out an almost inaudible sigh of contentment as he did so.
“You’re here,” You whispered, almost as if saying the words aloud would send him away again, making him disappear into nothing.
“I’m here.” He repeated, placing a kiss on your forehead, “I’m here.” There was such intensity in his relief that you began to fear all the things he had been forced to go through.
You pulled away with a tearful smile, the first genuine one that you wore since before his disappearance and cupped his cheek with a disbelieving laugh, “You’re really here.”
But it flew away from her reach
“Thea?” You knocked on her open door and stuck your head in with a wide grin, “It’s time for dinner, you coming?”
She snapped her head up from staring at her hands from where she sat on her bed and you immediately realized the way her eyes were red and puffy, cheeks stained with tear marks.
Worry grasped onto your body and wrapped itself around you as you automatically rushed to her side and crouched down before her, older sister instincts kicking in, “Hey, hey,” You said softly, “What is it? What’s wrong?”
Your sister shook her head, chuckling tearfully and wiping her tears away with the back of her hand, “No, nothing. I’m just so happy.”
A smile of relief grew on your face when you realized that she was alright and you reached up to gently swipe a stray piece of hair away from her eyes, “I know, I am too.”
“It’s just- I finally have both of my siblings back.” She breathed out with a wide grin.
Your smile, however, faltered at her words, “What do you mean?” You asked quietly.
Her eyes flitted up to you and she bit down on her lip guiltily when she realized what she said and she shrugged, “No, it- it’s just- it always felt like I lost both you and Oliver when his ship went down.”
Your heart dropped to the bottom of your stomach and your breath caught in your throat, “Oh, Thea-“
“I’m not trying to make you upset,” She immediately rushed out, “It’s just- you left right after Oliver disappeared and it just felt like both of you had died even though I knew that you hadn’t.”
Tears of your own began to fill your eyes, one of sadness for the first time that day, “I’m so sorry.” You whispered, “I never- never meant to do that to you, Thea. I-I just couldn’t stay after everything-“
“And I know that,” She gave you a soft smile and squeezed your hand, “I know that you had to do what you had to do. I’m just happy that you’re both back.”
A smiled sadly, moving another piece of hair behind her hair, “I am too.”
And the bullets catch in her teeth
“Come on, you have to admit, that was fun.” You spoke with a large smile as you swung your arm around and linked it with your twin brothers.
Oliver smiled, placing his hands in his pockets with his arm still wrapped around yours, “It was.” He agreed.
The two of you had just gone out to lunch with Tommy, figuring that it would be best for all three of you to catch up at the same time, given that you all used to be- and still are- best friends.
You turned down an alleyway to take a shortcut to where you parked your car, happily chatting away with one another.
Ever since he got back, the two of you hardly left each other's sides. It felt more comfortable- safer- to be in the vicinity of each other whenever you could. Almost as if that would lessen the chances of the other being taken away once more.
“Freeze!” A deep voice sounded behind you all of a sudden, and you both halted in your steps, “Now turn around with your hands up.”
Quickly, your panic filled eyes flitted over to Oliver, making brief eye contact with him and he gave a subtle nod of his head to let you know to do as was said.
You both turned on your heels with your arms partially raised, and your breath caught in your throat when you caught sight of a man pointing a gun straight at you two with a ski mask pulled over his face.
“Give me your wallets.” He demanded.
No. No. No. No. No. No-
This couldn’t be happening. You just got Oliver back, you would not let anything take him away from you once again.
Quickly, you reached into your pocket and pulled out your wallet, drawing the man’s attention away from your brother long enough for him to shift his body in front of yours slightly.
You stuck your arm out to hand it to the man, and when he moved the gun into one hand and began to reach for it, Oliver quickly stuck his own arm out, slamming his fist into the side of the man’s face.
You stumbled back as the man’s eyes rolled back and he fell unceremoniously to the ground. Knocked out cold before he even hit the pavement.
Oliver let out a sigh through his nose, not even flinching upon the impact of his fist with the man’s jaw before turning back towards you.
“Are you okay?” He asked worriedly, eyes scanning over you for any sign of injury.
All you could manage was a small nod of assurance.
Before the island, the only fights Oliver ever got in were bar fights. Ones filled with sloppy punches and slurred insults. Never had he ever actually learned how to fight for real, let alone know how to punch a man out cold in one go and not look even remotely fazed.
“What happened to you on that island?”
It was the dreaded question. The ‘do not go there’ topic. Something that every single person had been avoiding since his return.
The man stiffened in front of you, “I don’t want to talk about the island.”
There was that look again. The one you saw in the hospital when you first went to retrieve him. That guarded, cold look that held secrets that clearly had restricted access.
“We have to at some point,” Your voice was now coming out as begging, “It can’t be healthy to keep all that bottled up! God knows what you were forced to go through. And I just want to help-“
“You can help by leaving it alone.” He snapped.
At his words, your spine snapped upright and a hard look of your own overcame your features, “Fine.” You said in a cold tone that could rival his.
All at once, he softened and ran a hand down his face with a sigh, “Look, I’m sorry, n/n. It’s just-“ He took a stuttered breath, “It’s just a lot.”
You softened as well, “I know that,” You mumbled, crossing your arms over your chest, “And I’m not trying to force it out of you. I just want to be here if you need to talk about it.”
“I know,” He walked over and hugged you, “I know. And I appreciate that, n/n, I really do.”
Life goes on, it gets so heavy
“I feel like I don’t even know you anymore, Oliver!” You shouted.
Ever since that day in the alleyway, something seemed to change in your twin brother. No longer did he stick by you every available moment, he now distanced himself from you- from everybody.
“You’re always running off to god knows where, doing god knows what!” You continued, feelings anger and betrayal and nervousness rising inside of you, “We just got you back, and you seem hell bent on making us lose you again!”
Oliver stood stiffly across from you in the living room, arms crossed over his chest and head bowed to the floor. Not once did he shout back, he just took your words with that guarded exterior of his.
“Just talk to me!” You begged now, “I’m not asking you to tell me about those five years- that’s your own business to tell at your own leisure. But I’m your twin sister for god's sake! Tell me what’s going on with you now- in the present.”
“It’s… complicated.” He finally spoke and raised his head to meet your burning gaze, “I promise, I’m only trying to protect you-“
You let out a loud scoff, throwing your arms up mockingly, “Yeah, sure feels like it!”
Anger finally seeped through his mask and painted his features, “What do you want me to say, Y/n? What- you want me to be the same person that I was before the island? You want us to tell each other everything again as if we aren’t grown fucking adults?” His voice gradually raised throughout his small speech until you physically flinched back at the volume of it.
Both of you stood, chests heaving up and down in short pants as you tried to catch your breaths, and for a few moments, that was the only sound echoing in the vast room.
“Fine.” It was your turn to put on a cold exterior, “Fine, you’re right, Oliver. We don’t know each other and we don’t have to. Why would we? We’re ‘grown fucking adults’. We don’t need each other anymore. We’re not children.”
His arms dropped to his sides, “That’s not what I meant, and you know it.”
You shook your head and backed up, holding your hands up in surrender, “No, no. I think that’s exactly what you meant.”
“Y/n-“ He called, but it was too late. You had already stormed out of the room.
The wheel breaks the butterfly
“How did you know I’d be up here?” You mumbled, not lifting your head from where it rested upon your knees that were pulled to your chest.
Moira sighed, carefully lowering herself to sit beside you on the roof, “You used to come up here all the time whenever you and your brother got into a fight.”
You winced slightly, “You heard that?”
She hummed, “Put on quite a show for me and Thea… while on the other side of the house.”
“Sorry about that,” You whispered, taking your sleeve and rubbing the tear stains off your face.
“Oh,” She breathed out sympathetically, reaching over and rubbing your back comfortingly, “It’s alright, sweetheart. You both just said some things you didn’t mean, nothing you can’t come back from.”
You looked at her uncertainty, “Are you sure? We were both pretty brutal.”
Your mother wrapped her arm around your shoulder and allowed you to rest your head on her own, “That’s true, but you and I both know that you two can’t go very long in an argument without making up.”
“I know that,” You whispered, “But that was before. We’re both different people now.”
You missed the way she lifted her head to look at the window she had just crawled out of to come see you, “That’s true. I don't think either of you could last in your arguments as long as you used to.”
Confusion overtook your features and you turned your head up to her with furrowed eyebrows, but her eyes were trained elsewhere. You followed her line of vision and paused. Oliver stood on the roof, looking as if he had just climbed out.
Moira left a lingering kiss on the top of your head before walking back into the house, offering your brother a reassuring smile on her way.
Wordlessly, Oliver sat down beside you, staring out at the garden that you could overlook from where you were perched.
At the same time, you both turned to each other and synchronously said, “I’m sorry.”
You chuckled slightly when you did so, each relaxing slightly.
“I didn’t mean it- any of it.” Oliver said, turning apologetic.
“I know,” You stated, “Neither did I. It’s- it’s just that after everything we went through-“
He cut you off by wrapping an arm around your shoulders like your mother just had and pulling you into his side. Oliver dipped his head to give you a kiss on the top of your head, “I know. I know.”
The two of you fell into a silence that lasted until you finished watching the sun fully set.
Every tear a waterfall
“This is the first time I’m seeing this since the funeral.” You admitted, swinging your arms back and forth by your side.
Oliver turned to you, “Never felt like coming to visit me?” He teased.
You shook your head, “It wasn’t that.” You admitted, “I moved out as soon as the funeral was over.”
Your brother faltered in his steps before catching up to where you now stood, feet planted in front of his and your fathers empty graves.
“You moved out?” He asked in surprise, this being the first he was hearing of it.
“Yeah,” You laughed slightly, “The day you came back was actually the first day I had come to visit home. Looks like we both thought that would be the perfect day to do so. Maybe it’s a twin thing.” You hummed thoughtfully at the end.
“I-I didn’t know you left.” He stuttered out, turning to look at you.
You were slightly taken aback by the way he was taking the news, “Well, yeah… it hurt too much to stay here.” You explained, head tilting slightly as you tried to figure out why this was such a big deal to him.
“I thought- I thought you were still here after all this time.”
“Oliver,” You laughed slightly, “What’s the big deal? I’m here now.”
He shook his head, “It’s just- I thought you had mom and Thea to look after you all this time- and now I find out that you were alone for everything?”
You fell silent, finally seeing what the big deal was for him, “Oh,”
Tears shone in his eyes, “I went through all of it alone- but that doesn’t mean I wanted you to as well.”
“Ollie…” This was the first time since his return that you saw him get so emotionally upset over something.
“Why didn’t you stay with them? Why didn’t they stop you from leaving?” He asked suddenly, “They could’ve taken care of you-“
“Hey.” You cut him off sternly, taking his hand in your own and shaking it firmly to get his attention, “That was all my own decision. And besides, we’re both back now, so it doesn’t matter. We’re alright now.”
In the night the stormy night she'll close her eyes
You laughed loudly as Oliver threw a piece of popcorn at you, “Oh, come on! You know it’s true!”
“It is not.” He scowled playfully.
Thea joined in your amusement, “Oh, it totally is!” She snickered, “You used to be too scared of the dark to sleep alone! I remember- you would always sleep with mom and dad!”
The three of you sat around the couches in the living room, munching on popcorn with a long- forgotten movie playing in the background.
“I did not!” He protested.
“Oh, yes you did, young man.” Moira smiled at the sight of her three children, all playfully bickering with one another as she entered the room.
“Mom!” He complained as yours and Theas cackling grew louder at her admitted statement.
“I’m sorry,” She shrugged, completely unapologetic, “I can only speak to the truth.” She jokingly wagged a finger at Thea, “And don’t you be laughing, young lady, remember what happened during the Christmas party when you were eight?”
Your sister's eyes immediately widened with horror and it was then Oliver’s turn to join in on your laughing.
“Mom!” She shrieked, “That’s not cool! Don’t bring that up!”
“And you,” Moira playfully narrowed her eyes at you, “Need I remind you of your seventeenth birthday fiasco?”
“No! No!” You quickly shook your head back and forth.
Your mother was the only one left laughing after that, but you couldn’t deny that this felt good. Joking around as a family again. All together.
In the night the stormy night away she'd fly
You tiptoed across the hallway towards Oliver’s room as if you were a child again. The two of you used to sneak a candy bar or two up to your rooms during the day and stash them under your pillows for the nighttime and would oftentimes have a mini party with one another while feasting on your treats.
This time though, it was different. There were no more candy parties. No more stifled giggles in the middle of the night. No more childhood.
About a few minutes ago, you had woken up with the feeling that something was off- that something was wrong. It was such a strong feeling that it became practically impossible to ignore. So you found yourself throwing off your covers and creeping to your twin brother's room to try and figure out what was wrong.
As soon as you stepped through the already opened door, you realized what the problem was.
Oliver was sitting on the edge of his bed with his head dropped like a rock into his hands while his elbows rested in his knees. He had a nightmare.
You didn’t know how you knew, it just came to you and there wasn’t a single doubt in your mind that it was what happened.
Wordlessly, you shuffled into the room and sank down onto the mattress beside him.
At first, he tensed up and whipped around to face you, only to relax when he realized that it was just you.
The silence carried on between the two of you for a few minutes before you spoke up in a small whisper, “I used to get nightmares almost everyday after you and dad…” You trailed off and swallowed thickly.
“What did you do about them?” His voice was as soft as yours was. Your brother didn’t even question how you knew.
“Not enough,” You admitted, hugging your knees to your chest, “I let them plague my mind because I didn’t know what else to do about them.”
“What were they about?” You could tell from the sound of his voice that he didn’t want to push, but curiosity had taken over.
“How you- I mean how you could’ve…” You harshly blinked tears away, “Every nightmare would be a different scenario of how you could have died.”
Without another word, he wrapped his arm around your shoulders and brought you into a strong, side hug, planting a kiss on the side of your head as you leaned into his chest.
“They stopped, though.” You craned your neck to look up at him with a teary smile, “As soon as you came back. I haven’t had another one since.”
He shook his head softly, “I’m sorry you ever had to go through that.”
“Don’t apologize.” You copied his head shake, “There is absolutely nothing that you need to be sorry for. The ship going down wasn’t your fault.”
Oliver gazed at you with sad eyes, “But I wish it hadn’t happened.”
You let out a small laugh, “Of course,” Small giggles continued to pour out of you, “You can’t actually be glad something like that had happened.”
A smile pulled at the ends of his lips as he turned his head away from you to look out the window, “No, I suppose not.”
Dream of para-para-paradise
“What the hell is all of this?” You asked quietly, turning in a slow circle from where you stood.
“You know what this is.” Oliver called softly from behind you. His arms were crossed over his chest and he looked- dare you say- nervous.
About an hour ago, he had rushed into your room, rambling nonsense about not wanting or being able to lie to you- his twin sister - anymore, and had practically dragged you out of the house and to an old abandoned warehouse that used to belong to your father.
“You’re the vigilante.” You breathed out.
Deep down, you felt as if you had somehow known all along, because now, it all made sense. The obvious secrets, the interaction with the mugger, the difference in, well, everything about him.
“Oliver.” You turned and looked him directly in the eyes, “You have a lot of explaining to do.”

Glitch [Part 1]
Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
Pairing: Tommy Merlyn x Reader
Word Count: 1221
Meeting Tommy Merlyn was not something you expected to happen within your lifetime. You lived worlds apart despite living within Starling City for the entirety of your lives. He basked in the high life society while you primarily stayed cozied up within your condo. Your lives coinciding felt like a glitch. A sporadic moment in a hectic reality just waiting to drop a bombshell disrupting the peace you’ve ever known.
It began with a work email. Your catering business has somehow garnered the attention of one of the assistants working for Moira Queen. It was a surreal moment of your life as you could not fathom how they became aware of your business. To this day, it was still a mystery.
You worked your ass off for each piece to be perfect and delicious. You called up some friends to help you with delivering them to the Queen Mansion. You nor your friends have ever seen the mansion in person. Decorated so gratifyingly that it established an elite lifestyle. One you and your friends could only dream of but never touch. Thea Queen’s sweet sixteen would be the talk of the city and you had but a small part in making it the best day of her teenage years. You were thankful for this opportunity.
The door of the Queen Mansion was wide open. Busy bodies rushing back and forth with decorations barely being hung up. There he stood nearby the stairwell. He diligently surveyed the chaos stirring within the mansion. His only source of entertainment until the guest arrived. He wore an awfully expensive black tux. His presence radiated a sort of authority, a type you were vastly unfamiliar with.
Moira spotted the dishes and instantly began instructing you where to place the food. It was then that he noticed your semi-muscular frame. She attentively inspected your work for a solid second as your friends placed them onto the table, leaving you to verify the flawlessness of each piece. “These look wonderful.” She placed her hand onto your shoulder as you proceeded to unveil the rest. “That’ll be all.”
You nodded before responding, “Thank you.” That’s where it should’ve ended. A brief minute of residing in the same room at the same time. A moment where the planets and the fates and the stars aligned. Laying the groundwork for the glitch to spark an incomparable possibility. An unlikely window of opportunity for magic to captivate even the utmost bachelor in all of Starling City.
He was spellbound by your beauty, enthralled by your stance, and intended to become acquainted with you. His good looks, he thought, would help drastically but much to his disappointment you’d barely looked at him as you leisurely fled the mansion. He attempted to woo you with his lifestyle and money but you weren’t taking the bait. In fact, you barely muttered a few words to him as he tried to dazzle you. It was slightly frustrating but something kept him from relenting.
Within the entirety of his womanizer life, women came easy for him. It was his last name attracting the attention of women or his ridiculously handsome face (at least he thought so) that usually did the trick. But his usual antics weren’t working. For the first time, he had to work for acknowledgement from a woman and he rather enjoyed it. The rush of knowing his time with you was limited and every action could either disconnect from each other's lives permanently or become the start of something new.
He knew your job ended the second you’d dropped the food off and rectified what could’ve been disturbed by the car ride. His window was slowly coming to a close and you’d be lost forever in the sea of women that inhabited the city. He needed to arrange for more time, allowing his charm to fulfill its purpose and enchant you into his arms.
“Can I have a business card?” You nodded, digging into your pocket and handing him the card one of your friends digitally designed. All you wanted was to cuddle into your bed while silently stressing over the review that would soon loom over your head. A terrible review from Moira Queen will utterly destroy your business. You were dying for the days to come to progress so you could know the fate of your business. You were so busy ensnared into your thoughts that you didn’t notice Tommy Merlyn was flirting with you. Frankly, a panic attack was undoubtedly ensuing your figure as you left.
It wasn’t until a few days later that you’d realized that Tommy Merlyn was trying to pursue you romantically and the thought initiated a hearty roar of laughter. You regarded it as utterly ridiculous. Enough so that you’d poked fun at the situation you’d found yourself in with your friends. Knowing nothing remotely romantic could unravel between the two of you, you dismissed his attempt as a spur of the moment relapse on his part. He wasn’t a one-girl type of guy. His past (and very public) relationships presented as such and you were not looking for a short time. You wanted something more intimate and profound. Something the man the media portrayed could not approach if he continued on with his lack of self-control.
Unexpectedly he popped back into your life as he contacted you. Hiring you for an event he’d be hosting and imparting an invitation to you and your friends. When you relay the message you’d experience endless teasing by your friends. It was, according to them, another chance to have Tommy swoon over you. You took their bantering in stride as nothing, absolutely nothing will occur between the two of you. You were searching for something more than merely sex and didn’t want to be included in his ever growing list of one-night stands nor suffer through the heartbreak that would possibly hover over the hypothetical relationship. It was just something you did not want to bear.
He was, without a doubt, charming in his own right. He’d fished for little nuggets of specifics. Details of one such as preferred hobbies, cherished memories, and everything in between. Nothing a person who desired a one-night stand would seek. He was different from what the media had plastered all over the television and magazines. He seemed genuine when he indicated his want to get to know you on a personal level. Even admitting the entire event was assembled to grasp a fraction of a chance to encounter one another again.
It only brought more questions than answers but with a little convincing from your friends, you decided to give him a chance. It progressed slowly. Dates at Big Belly Burgers and stolen kisses under streetlights. You’d realized just how big his heart was and how much love he could muster for the people around him. Almost too much as most was at the cost of his mental state. He recognized the amount of devotion you dedicate to cooking. So much so he once decided to cook for you. He captured your heart the second he tried to cook Fettuccine Alfredo using a cookbook he’d soon give to you.
An inconceivable relationship blossomed over a mere glitch in reality and you both thank whatever gods or fate for allowing such a circumstance to transpire.

READ THIS AND PROMPTLY STARTED SCREAMING
With Jace's name day approaching, a few lords and their families were already arriving at the island for the festivity taking place in just a couple of days, including your parents and siblings.
👀
You were about nine years old when you became Princess Rhaenyra's ward.
oooo i love that concept
the older prince seemed to steal most of your affection effortlessly.
100% confirmed, established yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
watch me bend over backward for this man
but your hand is slapped away.
OH HELL NO THIS MAN BETTER BE COUNTING HIS LUCKY STARS HE DIDNT GET BITCH SLAPPED
"My Prince is fine, or have you forgotten your manners?" His tone is cold and sharp, lacking the tenderness often reserved for you, and your eyebrows raise in surprise.
"You will apologize to me." He demands.
"I cannot have you approaching me as a common bastard with little to no regard for social customs in front of men I am supposed to lead one day. If a lady like yourself does not deem it worthy to address me in the correct style, how will they? Do you genuinely do not see the issue?"
okay i understand to an extent but i would still slap that man's dick off istg
"You will or you might as well face punishment for such insolence, do you truly want to embarrass your family like that in front of all these people?"
how dare he
i am going on an emotional rollercoaster over here
Jace's face softens at your teary eyes, regret and shock swallowing him, suddenly and immediately. His mind is fuzzy. As if a bucket of iced cold water had been thrown over him, or if his eyes were seeing clearly for the first time after walking through a mist. Oh. He cursed himself countless times in just a few seconds. He despised seeing you cry, he despised even more to be the reason for it. "Forgive me, I did not mean—"
THIS IS SO BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN
Jace paid them no mind as well, forgetting all about the reputation he wanted to create among them. He races after you almost desperately as he shouts your name, which only makes you sprint faster through the craggy pavement.
he damn well better
You despised how pretty those eyes got when the sun reflected in them, how gorgeous he looked bathed by sunlight.
sigh you know it's true, he could run me over and i would still be on my knees for him istfg
why is he so pretty??
it's not fair
im gonna cry
"No, please don't cry." The prince brings your body forward as he hugs you almost instinctively, itching to comfort you in despair.
NAUR CAUSE IM GONNA START CRYING TOO I SWEAR
"No" Is all that you can mutter in a whine before burying your face further in his chest, you shouldn't like his presence so much, you shouldn't like him so much, you shouldn't give someone so much importance and control.
pfff this is me: "i hate you" continues to buy his cologne
"You hold my heart in your hands, Jace," You admit quietly as you sniff. "You cannot be so careless with it."
this line i-
babe im gonna have an aneurism my grandpops has had one and now it's my turn i guess ☠️
I just… can't let them see me as weak or undeserving in any way. I need to be perfect all the time, and I am not fucking perfect, at all." He chuckles wryly.
i just wanna ruffle his hair and wrap a blanket around him is that too much to ask? let me protect my bby boy
You took your time answering him. "I am still upset." Not as much, but you wouldn't let him know that just yet.
make him crawl babe i'll back you
"Please, I will do anything, just forgive me," He pleads once more. "I need you, I always need you. Terribly. You are my greatest friend and you are not allowed to leave me." His eyes are full of sorrow and longing.
I AM GOING TO SCREAM VERY LOUDLY THIS MAN IS GIVING ME TINGLES
So instead, you jest, feeling quite cheeky. "Give me a kiss."
Lovely.
chills
"I might get addicted to this." You murmur, forehead resting on his.
He feels remarkably light and excited, and he wouldn't be surprised if he was glowing inside out, the warmth spreading from head to toe inside him almost overwhelming.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"We will be careful." You rest your hands behind your back. "Do you wish to go to my chambers?"
she is BOLD
reader that takes initiative >>>>>>>>>>
But it's getting desperate and frustrating, the kisses not being quite enough to satiate your need. There is a known fire inside you, one that comes at night when you are alone, but so much stronger now, so stronger it makes thinking hard. It is primal and urging, devastating even. You want to whine, to get rid of that knot, but you cannot. It is so improper, more so than kissing a man in your private quarters, and you do not wish to scare Jace by being so forward.
AYO I LOVE THE PACING OF THIS!!!!
"Hardly."
aajjsjsksk
"If you stop—" You pause to catch your breath, eyes shut as he keeps his mouth on your neck. "If you stop I will stab you."
BAHAHAH DAMN RIGHT YOU WILL
You wet your lips, amazed by it. It's pretty, you realize. You did not know it could be pretty, once you have heard a few ladies talking about how ugly it commonly was, though it still felt good. But there are no other words you would describe Jace's cock.
in my experience pictures work, see exhibit a:
Fuck. The old nickname, once so pure, back when people claimed you trailed behind him like a lost pup, into this filthy situation it's just as rapture.
Jace cannot contain his moans,
my man is vocal and i will die on that hill
You tsk. "Messy boy."
ASJKSKSSL
"Tell me what you enjoy and what you do not," Jace says against your mouth. "And tell me to stop if it is too much, promise me?"
HE IS THE BLUEPRINT!!!!!!
"This swollen little bud right here?" He keeps his pace on it, finger not faltering.
i always struggle writing how the characters describe each other's bodies but this was great
"Feels better here?" He goes back to the bud, pressing another finger to your womanhood as well. You can only nod in the middle of whimpers. "Can you tell why, pup?"
THEY ARE LEARNING TOGETHER I LOVE IT
"You want another one?" He asks.
ASSKJDKSKDDOL
"My good beautiful girl."
"You invigorate me."
this vocab is amazing it killed me every time i swear

The breeze feels warm but fresh on your skin, and the sun is just about to set as you stroll happily around the castle, the skirts of your dress bouncing. It has been a good day so far. With Jace's name day approaching, a few lords and their families were already arriving at the island for the festivity taking place in just a couple of days, including your parents and siblings. The lessons were fun and interesting, especially with the different takes of the other ladies that are visiting. Later, Rhaenyra had a dress fitting session, in which she insisted that you and the silver-haired sisters choose something for yourselves as well. The afternoon went by quickly once surrounded by fabrics, jewelry, and laughter.
You were about nine years old when you became Princess Rhaenyra's ward. Being one of the youngest in a huge family, your father sent you to Dragonstone as a symbol of his loyalty to the black princess, who treats you with the utmost kindness and respect. You were quick to adapt and feel far from unsatisfied with the life you have been building for yourself in the crownlands.
But something is missing throughout the day, creating a small void within your chest. You have not been able to see Jace, and you crave his company. The reason as to why you are descending to the beach in long strides, where you were informed the young men were still training since late morning.
The friendship between the two of you was immediate and intense as soon as you arrived, and though you grew to care for all of the family, the older prince seemed to steal most of your affection effortlessly.
Clashing steel and loud manly voices fill your ears as you arrive at the beach. Lucerys is currently sparring with a boy around his age who you recognize to be from House Blackwood, while Jacaerys seems to be deep in conversation with a few lords. A smile creeps into your face as you rush your steps.
"Jace!" You shout as you stop in front of him. "I miss you." You raise your hand to fix his hair as you are used to, but your hand is slapped away.
Confusion washes over your face due to his unusual behavior. There are a few snickers from the young lords around him and Jace flushes.
"My Prince is fine, or have you forgotten your manners?" His tone is cold and sharp, lacking the tenderness often reserved for you, and your eyebrows raise in surprise.
"What?" You scoff in annoyance, shooting a glance at the other boys, Were they the reason he was being so unpleasant? Was he ashamed of you? A great indignation sweeps over you at the thought. "Jace—" You purposely emphasize his name again, ready to load your irritation on him when you're cut off.
Followed by wolf whistles there was a firm hand around your upper arm, the prince's expression hardened. You could feel your stomach dropping at that, never had he looked at you that way. Rarely did you two fight, even as children, your friendship was always a sweet and courteous one.
"Can we speak in private, my lady?" It's more of an order than an actual request as he drags you across the beach and behind one of the multiple rocks, hidden from curious eyes and ears.
He's furious, you could sense it as he let go of your arm. And it's the same sentiment as standing close to a dragon: dangerous and unpredictable. Your heart drums against your ribcage. Oh, how foolish one has to be to doubt that Jacaerys is the blood of the dragon for even a second. All you can see in front of you right now is an enraged beast.
"You will apologize to me." He demands.
"Apologize for what?" You are incredulous, and the fact you have never seen him act this way should be enough reason to not push him, but at this moment, you are feeling just as prideful as he is.
"For disrespecting me! What else?"
"Disrespect? I called you by your name!"
"Jace is what my family calls me, you are not. Please, know your position." He says sternly.
You gasp, mouth wide open as your heart sinks. "You do not mean!"
Jace sighs deeply, closing his eyes for a second to keep his control. "I cannot have you approaching me as a common bastard with little to no regard for social customs in front of men I am supposed to lead one day. If a lady like yourself does not deem it worthy to address me in the correct style, how will they? Do you genuinely do not see the issue?"
There's much you want to say, much you want to discuss and disagree, curse him even, but it's that damned word that rings the most to you, bastard. You know how delicate the topic is to Jace, how in front of everyone he pretends it doesn't bother him, but in truth, the stares and whispers and uneasiness of the future always stressed him to a fault. Usually, it was not a problem at home, but this week the island is full of visitors from all over the Seven Kingdoms, most of them not necessarily favoring greens or blacks as some houses have, at least not publicly yet. Meaning a lot more whispers, more stares, and more insults masked as plain light-hearted jests.
It's the first time you realize how so many people might be a little too much to deal with, especially for someone so eager to prove themselves at all times like Jacaerys. Nonetheless, his actions sting, and so badly. You are not deserving of his wrath and therefore would not accept it.
"But must you be so mean to me?"
"Mean?!" His voice gets louder, clearly losing the small amount of patience he was still holding onto. "I am simply trying to teach you the proper way to address your future ruler."
It's enough for you, you cannot bear it, as if you are talking to a stranger and not your greatest friend. The rage and arrogance are so unlike him, that it is just odd and infuriating to see. You hate it. "I do not need you to teach me manners! And we are far beyond such customs, Jacaerys. You know it."
"You will apologize to me." He repeats himself once more, growing agitated.
"I will not!"
"You will or you might as well face punishment for such insolence, do you truly want to embarrass your family like that in front of all these people?"
It takes a while for his words to sink in, but when it does, your breathing is erratic, and eyes burning with unshed tears, hurt and angry. You refuse to cry, but why is it so hard?
It is ridiculous the power Jacaerys has over you and for such a long time now. How a different glance, a shrug, or a specific tone of voice could make you recoil to yourself, unknowingly ruining your mood as you wondered if perhaps you could've done something to upset him. Those moments are forgotten the moment he smiles brightly at you again or ruffles your hair teasingly, back at his usual self. But then it would happen again and you would be reminded of how much you blindly seek his approval, even if you try your hardest not to.
It is too late. You turn on your heels, clutching your skirts, and running away from him as fast as you could, your flat shoes burying on the soft sand. Your vision is completely blurred by the tears as you intend to make your way back to the castle. There's more laughter from the lords as you pass by them. You couldn't care less, your stomach churning.
Jace paid them no mind as well, forgetting all about the reputation he wanted to create among them. He races after you almost desperately as he shouts your name, which only makes you sprint faster through the craggy pavement. Suffocated by his frustrations, he unloaded them on the last person he would wish to, and he would be doomed if he didn't repair the damage he just made. He couldn't remember a time he felt as guilty and ashamed as right now. Absolute moron.
A couple of minutes later, you're growing tired from the run, which gives Jace the perfect opportunity to grab your upper arm again, but this time much gentler. He makes you turn around to face him, warm brown eyes pleading. You despised how pretty those eyes got when the sun reflected in them, how gorgeous he looked bathed by sunlight. "Please." He utters, his breath heavy.
You struggle your arm out of his grip, a scowl on your face, now wet from tears. "Let me be."
"Please, please, please," He moves his body to halt in front of you. "Let me speak."
"I do not wish to speak with you." You try to dodge him and walk again, but he swiftly blocks you, your name falling from his lips almost like a prayer. That makes you hesitantly look at him, a silent agreement for him to continue.
"I am tremendously sorry. I swear it. I was unfair, I know," He says in a rush, brows pinching together as he reaches for your hands. You didn't bother to retrieve it. "I… There's no excuse. I was harsh and a fool because I couldn't handle my stress. I am so sorry, I feel so terrible right now. Just please, forgive me." He rambles.
You shook your head repeatedly, a new pool of tears making your eyes shimmer. Jace could swear he felt as if he was being ripped apart, queasiness brutally hitting him.
"No, please don't cry." The prince brings your body forward as he hugs you almost instinctively, itching to comfort you in despair.
You didn't hug him back, but you didn't move either, his embrace was annoyingly a solace, even if he was the reason for your sadness. He strokes the side of your neck with one hand, and your back with the other in a soothing motion.
"No…" Is all that you can mutter in a whine before burying your face further in his chest, you shouldn't like his presence so much, you shouldn't like him so much, you shouldn't give someone so much importance and control.
"I am so sorry." He hugs you tighter, repeating the apology over and over in the shell of your ear, regret and shame filling his voice.
"You cannot hurt me like this." You say, feeling the weight of his words and actions.
Jace slowly pulls away, surprising you to see him looking so troubled. He softly cleans your tears with his thumbs. "I know. I was cruel for no reason, and you do not deserve it. I understand your anger and disappointment. Right now I am sharing the same sentiments about myself." He shook his head. "I do not know what to do except to apologize, I didn't mean to act so entitled. It was too much. I handled my problems in the worst of ways and didn't realize until I upset you."
"You hold my heart in your hands, Jace," You admit quietly as you sniff. "You cannot be so careless with it."
Jace held his breath, his heart beating impossibly faster at your words. You were always tender with one another, and such admissions, especially coming from you, were not rare. He could never tell if your affection was one of friendship or if it held more meaning, but it always made him warm inside. This one though, came as a dagger to his guts. With all his being, Jacaerys wished to undo all that had happened from the moment you stepped into the beach, running towards him with a beaming smile.
"I couldn't be more regretful than I am for my stupid actions," His voice is quiet and sad. "If we can sort this out between us now, I would be most grateful. Just tell me what I have to do. But if you truly desire to not speak to me, I will leave and not bother you again." He looks at you expectantly, fearful even.
You bite your lips, not quite able to give him an answer you didn't have. You were still displeased, and you would rather have the prince vanishing in thin air right now, or maybe slap his handsome face for acting so surly in an unjustified way. At the same time, you didn't want to leave it unresolved, to extend the issue for longer. You would have to talk at some point, either to forget about it or end your friendship at once. The last thought sends a wave of discomfort through your body, enough of an answer. You swallow hard.
"What are you so stressed about?" You have a good guess, you know him, but you want to hear it from his mouth directly.
With a sigh, anyone could hear the sheer honesty and exasperation in Jace's tone. "It is my responsibility, my duty," He looks down at his boots. "As the future heir to the throne, I need to be tough and make myself heard. There are certain expectations which I have to be prepared for." With a pause, he continues. "I have been on edge since the lords started arriving, and I snapped at you unfairly. There are so many stares and passive but accusatory comments, I just… can't let them see me as weak or undeserving in any way. I need to be perfect all the time, and I am not fucking perfect, at all." He chuckles wryly.
You exhale softly, it is not pity you feel, just comprehension with a bit of sadness. You couldn't fathom how much pressure the brunette was under, especially with the rumors and the tension between the family, his grandsire the only bridge holding it together, for now. He was right, there was no excuse regarding how he treated you, but his frustrations and fears were not meaningless. But it pains you to see him doubting himself like that. You've known Jacaerys for years, and you could not name a better person to be the future heir to the throne. Perhaps you are a little biased, but he was the representation of all good things to you, one of the reasons you believe genuine people still exist in such a malign world. He is not perfect, indeed, a flawed person like everyone else, but at least he always tries to be better, and that's more than most people you know could say.
"You will be prepared for it, Jace." Your voice is like a caress, strangely silky and firm at the same time. "I have no doubts. You are the most responsible person I know, intelligent, empathic, and fierce. You are trustworthy and honorable. You are respectful and you truly give your duty the importance it is due. You have all the attributes a good ruler should have, and you are so young. Those who do not see your value are blind and naive."
Jace bites his lips, almost drowning in gratitude. He looks deep into your eyes, trying to see any hint of deceit, of void words from a pitiful friend who doesn't believe in themselves entirely, but he does not see it. All the prince sees is an unnerving obstinacy.
"You mean it." He whispers, surprised.
You nod your head vehemently. "I do."
He could cry with such determined and honest praise after being plagued by the worst thoughts for days in a row, but he only smiles at you, shyly and fleeting, but sincere. "Thank you."
It is quiet after that, the birds squawking and waves crashing, the air filled with salt. It's a regular sound and smell, but the most comforting nonetheless, and what you relate to home. Not the rustling of the trees, the smell of the meadow, or the sound of the running stream back at your family's castle in the Riverlands, but this. You look out to the sea, the sky now turning purple and pink. After a few minutes of contemplation, Jacaerys speaks again, his legs quaking.
"I must know, will you be able to forgive me or will my sudden stupidity strain our relationship?" Jace fidgeted as he got closer to you, eyes wide, and you could feel the anxiety radiating off him. He is distressed.
You took your time answering him. "I am still upset." Not as much, but you wouldn't let him know that just yet.
"You have every right to be." He purses his lips as he looks away hopelessly. You do not feel sympathy, but a dark satisfaction at his despair after acting that way, and you try not to smile at it. "But I will not be able to sleep if I do not know if you will be able to forgive me or not, I cannot bear the thought of sleeping while we are on these ambiguous terms and you are angry at me, I—" He breathes in. "I cannot bear losing your friendship."
Seven. His insistence and desperation were certainly growing on you and melting the ice wall you have created not long ago. In truth, your anger and hurt were dissolving by the minute. Much stronger at the beach, but almost fading now. He takes your silence as a bad sign, and his hands find your waist, clinging to you for dear life.
"Please, I will do anything, just forgive me," He pleads once more. "I need you, I always need you. Terribly. You are my greatest friend and you are not allowed to leave me." His eyes are full of sorrow and longing.
You smirk. "Not allowed to leave? Is that an order?"
There's a shift in his eyes, a reluctant hope. "No, it is not, but it could be." There's teasing in his tone as well. "Please…"
Again, you look away to sort your thoughts. There is no use lying to yourself, no way of holding a grudge against him. In just a matter of minutes, the burning rage has become a faint flame, no way the resentment would survive till the end of the night. Seven hells, you were in deep, so supple to his wills and charms. You could pretend, give it more time, but the truth was as clear as a summer sky, so what is the point of dwelling on it, anyway?
"I will do anything." He mutters, squeezing your waist.
You decide then, a sly smile tugging at the corner of your lips. "Anything?"
Relief and incredulously crosses his face, a smile mirroring your own. "Is that a yes?"
"Not quite…" Your eyes are mischievous.
"Just tell me what I have to do to make up for you." He urges.
It's a great opportunity to strike a good bargain with a prince, but you dismiss the thought. You were forgiving him because you believe he deserves it, that he was sincere in his apology, and because he is your most treasured friend. You could count on one hand the times he'd upset you in years when you saw each other almost every day, so there was some reliability in him. So instead, you jest, feeling quite cheeky. "Give me a kiss."
It's purposely plain phrased, devoid of a specific intention, because you simply do not care where the kiss is going to be placed. Though you certainly do not expect much, a forehead kiss, perhaps. It's completely up to him.
Jace's brows shoot up to his hairline as he watches you with curiosity, head tilted to the side as his body tingles. "A kiss?"
You smile again. "My price."
He chuckles, shifting closer to you, his hands still on your waist. One of them moves, cradling your face in a feathery touch. He's aware you probably meant a friendly kiss, on your cheek or nose, a small gesture that would make you both giggle, because you are not as nervous as he is. Jace, who has a slightly different idea. Your face is relaxed in a small smile, eyes twinkling with humor. A particularly high wind makes the sight of you almost ethereal under the twilight. His pounding heart is loud in his ears, a thousand butterflies flying around his stomach. The pain he felt at the risk of losing your fondness was excruciating, threatening to whisk away his breath and all that was joyful. He truly could not bear it, ever. He loves you, and far from a platonic way, it's obvious now. In an adrenaline rush, he finally locks your lips together in a long and loving peck.
You gasp into his mouth, completely taken aback, but soon you press your lips against his as well. It's so soft and warm that a shiver runs down your spine. Lovely. When you part, your mind has not exactly caught up with what just happened yet, and your breath is labored. Jace watches you, content to not see any negative emotion, although you seem pretty startled, eyes as wide as a deer.
"I am truly sorry for being so rude and mean pup," He apologizes once again, kissing the corner of your lips this time, so delicately you barely felt it. "So sorry."
You can barely remember what he is apologizing for, the events of the beach are now a distant memory with the feel of his lips so fresh in your mind. Your eyes are drawn to his pinkish lips, excitement running through your veins as your heart palpitates almost painfully.
You struggle to find words, your head spinning as you process it all, and when you do, your voice is weak. "It is alright…"
He smiles sheepishly at you, caressing the side of your face. "How do you feel about it? The kiss?"
You hum as you bite your lips to prevent a smile, a sudden shyness taking over you. "I enjoyed it."
"So did I."
Your gaze flickers down once again. You want more, you crave more, so profoundly and insistently, as if you needed to feed off him to survive. Felt too good. "Can this be an occurrence?" You wonder, voice faltering, but that didn't stop your fingers from caressing his plump lips.
Heat rises to Jace's face and neck, he barely contains the grin plastered on his face. "I wouldn't mind. Would you like it to be an occurrence?"
You nod your head eagerly, hands now around his neck. "I am afraid your lips are the best thing I have ever tasted."
Jace laughs to mask his embarrassment. "Ever the charmer. Maybe you should stop listening to the bards as much."
"Shush it, will you? This was my first kiss, actually," You confess. "Now I understand why people enjoy it so fervently."
He smiles fondly and scratches his head nervously before he speaks again, arms wrapped around your waist once more. "It was my first as well."
You blink twice, amazed by that piece of information. "Truthfully?"
"Yes," He chuckles. "Why would I lie about that?"
"It's surprising, that's all," You tilt your head. "Most young men like you are often engaged in depravity."
He rolls his eyes. "I am no prude, that I can assure."
"Doesn't sound like it." You tease.
"I was just waiting for a certain someone to indulge in these sinful desires."
You gasp excessively at his crudeness before giggling. You know he is joking, partially, the curves of his mouth lifted and the joyful look in his eyes indicates it. "Do it again."
He does, softly and slowly. You relish it, eyes fluttering shut as your blood runs hot.
"I might get addicted to this." You murmur, forehead resting on his.
"So will I." He says quickly before capturing your lips again.
This time your lips move together, growing more wet and provocative, and the second your tongues finally touch, the kiss deepening, your whole body jolts forward. A growing flame sets roots on your lower stomach. It's messy, a clash of teeth and instinctive tongues, but it's new and thrilling, and absurdly wonderful.
Jace holds you as if you are the most precious thing to exist and he is afraid you will vanish, or that he will wake up in his bed at any moment. His heart almost jumping off his chest reminds him this could not be a dream, though it certainly feels like one. It does not take long until you both establish a pace, and he swears this is the closest thing akin to flying. He feels remarkably light and excited, and he wouldn't be surprised if he was glowing inside out, the warmth spreading from head to toe inside him almost overwhelming.
Everything disappears, the people, the animals, the waves, and the wind on your ears, making your dress float. It's just the two of you and your lips eagerly moving together in such harmony you could fool one as being experienced lovers. You grab the hair at the nape of his neck, and Jace shudders. His body always seems to be warmer than your cold hands, and he loves the feel of this difference.
You are out of breath, struggling to keep pace, but you do not wish to stop, too greedy now that you finally got a taste of him. You could kiss him forever, you realize. However, you must. You are still in the open for anyone to see. Jace seems to have the same trail of thought as you as he parts, panting. You laugh out of pure happiness, lips swollen and eyes hooded.
"Certainly a new vice."
Jacaerys grins at you. "We should have done this sooner."
You can only agree. "Now we can make up for the lost time."
"And not get in trouble while we are at it." He steps back against his desire and looks around. Jace could only describe the lack of your body pressed to his as sickening. Still, when his eyes find yours again, he smirks.
"We will be careful." You rest your hands behind your back. "Do you wish to go to my chambers?"
Jace's throat bobs. He'd been at your chambers countless times, but he could not help but let his mind wander to dangerous scenarios after your shared kisses. He knew it was far from reasonable, but you probably meant no mischief, and he knows how to control himself and his urges, so he nods.
You two get to your destination with no trouble, both knowing the castle and its hidden passage and shortcuts like the palm of your hands. Once as children when your favorite play was to imagine yourselves exploring new lands, then a little bit older to sneak food and overhear the adult's conversations, and later when, more mature, it was considered inappropriate for the two of you to spend time alone. Inside your quarters, Jace's nerves calm down, your familiar scent lingering in the air is a source of comfort to him.
It is quite dark, with the sky now merging into a navy blue. No servants have passed into your room to light the candles yet, so you grab one candlestick, lighting it with one of the torches that were already lit in the hall. Then, you lock the door and light some others, your chambers gradually becoming visible.
Jace's already sitting on your bed, and you plop beside him with a wicked smile. No words are necessary as your lips find themselves locked again, hungrily and demanding, or when your hands trail each other's bodies through the soft clothing.
None of you could tell how much time has passed, too lost in the tangle of your passion. You are vaguely aware half of your body is on top of him, one of his arms circling your waist. Each kiss tastes better than the other as you both slowly grasp the craft behind kissing, growing more confident with it by the second.
Seven, you were certainly scaring yourself with such heat. You don't even know what exactly you want, you just know you want badly enough to give anything that is asked of you to get it.
You shift your leg in a useless attempt to get rid of the uncomfortable dampness between your legs, but you accidentally brush your knee against Jace's crotch, and it is hard. The prince tenses beneath you, separating your lips in surprise. You pray that he cannot see how bashful you are, and you decide to occupy yourself instead, hiding your face.
Trailing little kisses along Jace's cheek, jaw, and neck. Jacaerys has to bite back a moan as you do so, his chest rising and falling way too rapidly. This feels like the seven heavens and hells at the same time. He smells mostly of sweat from the training, only a hint of his spearmint soap, but underneath it all there was just his scent, one you would custom a scented candle of if possible. You stick your tongue out, dragging it across the skin of his neck in wet kisses. Salty, delicious.
"Do you feel the same as me right now?" You ask curiously, voice muffled. "Such yearn."
Jace chuckles, his mouth drying out at the implication. His hand caresses your hair before kissing your cheek. "I feel exactly what you feel." He whispers, his voice hoarse, it does not soothe your discomfort, but the opposite.
Your breath gets caught in your throat. "It 's tempting."
"Very." He agrees. However, he is not certain either of you should act on it, thinking it would be better to get up and go to his quarters before it becomes too unbearable. The consequences of being caught would be dire. "We cannot."
"We should not, but we can."
"Alright, smart-mouthed." He rubs his fingers on your cheek lovingly as you look at him through your lashes. "Do you believe it would be worth it? Won't you regret it?"
"Hardly."
He gulps. He wants you so much, the aching in his pants proves it. But he cannot help the dread that creeps into him as well, furiously battling with his desire, and the prince has no clue who would win. He was not worried about himself, but rather with you. He was aware if you got caught and word spread around, it could ruin your life as a high-born lady. That was a terrifying risk, to imagine you suffering outlash and having your reputation strained forever. Jace didn't even let his mind wander to the paralyzing possibility of impregnating you, for various reasons. He's thinking so hard to make the decision that it almost hurts.
You notice the hesitancy, so you peck his lips calmly. "My handsome Jace, do not fret. We do not have to go any further."
"But I want to," He confesses. "More than anything."
You can hear your blood in your ears. "However…?"
"I'm nervous, about getting caught and you facing the harsher consequences, of disappointing you and making you miserable," He rambles. "Of you regretting it and hating me for eternity. I meant it, when I said I could not bear losing you. You are as important to me as the air that I breathe."
You smile fondly at him, your fingers tracing his eyebrow. "Do not choose for me. Just for you. I've made my decision. And I am unable to hate you. I'm certain I was made to love you," You chuckle. "Rest assured of that."
Jace blushes so hard it's impossible to hide it, and your amused smile only makes his cheeks grow hotter. He kisses you slowly and appreciatively. He feels at ease. The fear diminishes as he keeps savoring your mouth, the desire winning his inner battle. All Jacaerys could think about was being with you, inside you. He groans and turns your body completely in one motion, which makes you yelp in surprise. His body now hovers over yours, fitting so nicely in the middle of your legs. Your hands trail his arms to his neck as your kisses get messier.
"Tell me you really want this," He kisses your neck, making you shiver. "If you don't, I will stop."
"If you stop—" You pause to catch your breath, eyes shut as he keeps his mouth on your neck. "If you stop I will stab you."
He laughs, a sound so deep and boyish you can feel yourself clenching around nothing.
"Come here." He sits on his knees, helping you to get seated as well, your back to him.
Jace undoes the buttons of your dress clumsily and painfully slowly, and you suspect his hands are shaking. You easily get rid of it after he finally unclasps the last one, the material falling to the ground and leaving you in your thin shift. You do not know what came to you as you take it off completely, becoming fully naked in front of him.
There is no hint of shyness in him anymore, his jaw is clenched, making it even more prominent than normal, and he looks close to consuming you raw. You enjoy it.
"Fuck," He rasps, eyes unmoving from your form. "You are stunning."
You giggle a little before getting on the bed again, both of you standing on your knees. Jace wastes no time grabbing you, the feel of your bare skin intoxicating. His warm hands move along your waist to your lower back and then to the swell of your breasts. He pecks you. "Can I?"
You nod, your fine hairs stirred up due to his touches. He grips your breasts softly, as if afraid to hurt you. He massages them making you exhale loudly, and he smirks a little. He then pinches one of your nipples, circling it curiously. "Is this uncomfortable?"
"Not at all." He hums in acknowledgment.
"Should I continue?"
"Mhum."
His hold becomes firmer and you gasp. "Good?"
"Yes." You confirm before your lips find him again fiercely.
In the middle of heated kisses, you help Jace get out of his tunic, undershirt, and trouser, tossing them around your chamber. Your hands explore the defined muscles of his abdomen, training for hours on end favored his physic. You part so you can admire him, the pool of desire inside you only growing larger. He is lean but strong. When your eyes lock on his hard member, you stare at it more than you should, but he does not seem to mind. You wet your lips, amazed by it. It's pretty, you realize. You did not know it could be pretty, once you have heard a few ladies talking about how ugly it commonly was, though it still felt good. But there are no other words you would describe Jace's cock.
It just seems right with the rest of his appearance, long but not scarily so, in honesty, it looks like the perfect size, and it's thick. A large vein runs through the side, and you fight back the urge to lick it. The tip, and the base around it, are a brownish pink, and his dark pubic hair is well trimmed. You want to reach out and touch it, so you ask if you can.
"Please," Jace says airily.
Your hand wraps around it, your thumb caressing the visible vein, your eyes sparkling as you look down at the sight. Jacaerys hums, the noise coming from the deep of his throat, hips jerking slightly into your hand pleasantly and his belly's twitch doesn't go unnoticed by your gaze filled with lust. "Pup…"
Fuck. The old nickname, once so pure, back when people claimed you trailed behind him like a lost pup, into this filthy situation it's just as rapture. You run your hand around his length, stroking him. Jace cannot contain his moans, and it's delightful, his voice raspy, pleading, broken. You could hear it as music. It's the best form of encouragement, your pace quickens and you circle the slit of his head, which makes him sound particularly whiney. You gather the clear fluid leaking out of his tip, running it through his shaft, your hand sliding easily as the room is filled with lewd noises. You cannot avert your eyes off it, the skin of his cock stretching in your palm hypnotizing you.
"Ah, I-I'm close," He sounds pitiful. "Won't last, pup. I can't."
"Don't hold back, my love," You kiss his neck, right below his pulse, your stroking getting even faster. "I want to see you undone."
A strain and long moan come out of him right before a warm and sticky liquid hits your hand, some of it falling to your hip and upper thigh. Jace's face falls into the crook of your neck, body slack, and breathing hard. You tsk. "Messy boy."
He doesn't answer you, trying to catch his breath, a high pitch takes over his ears, and his head is spinning even with his eyes closed, unrecognizable forms and colors appearing behind his lids. He feels so intensely he is afraid he might not recover.
Jace looks up at you, face red and sweaty. "Sorry." He notices the mess.
You dismiss it, wrapping your hands around his neck, not minding cleaning yourself. "I like it." You assure. "Was I good?"
"Perfect," He whispers. "Absolute perfect."
You kiss him, and Jace pushes you back to the mattress, laying on your back again. The feel of your naked bodies pressed together is terrific and you never want to let go of it.
"Tell me what you enjoy and what you do not," Jace says against your mouth. "And tell me to stop if it is too much, promise me?"
You nod. "I promise."
"I will try something now." He warns and you suck in a breath in anticipation.
Although inexperienced, Jacaerys is not ignorant regarding the pleasure of the flesh. He has heard his fair share of crude stories from acquaintances, men being much less reserved than women, and making a point of being detailed. His stepfather himself has talked about it with him and his brother a couple of times, not to mention all the books in the hidden corner of the library. Jace is a perfectionist, and he did not wish to lack as a lover either, unbothered about his lady's pleasure and only seeking his own.
His middle finger grazes your sex and you gasp, not expecting it. "Is this alright?"
"Yes, just unusual."
He gently parts your folds, running it up and down, you bite your lips, it's not unpleasant, far from it. "It feels so good and inviting." He starts circling your cunt, gathering more juice. His fingers move easily due to your wetness and you squirm, searching for more friction. Jace's eyes never leave your face, studying.
When he circles somewhere around the higher point of your cunt, an extended moan leaves your mouth on its own accord. His eyes light up, and he does it again. "Good?"
You can barely find your voice. "Yes, good."
"This swollen little bud right here?" He keeps his pace on it, finger not faltering.
"Y-yes, Jace." You mewl, eyes shutting.
"What's so special about it?" He asks. "What if I lower my finger?" He moves it further down. "What do you feel here?"
You sigh, trying to contain the sounds coming from you. "It's very agreeable, but…" You don't complete the phrase, your mind goes blank with pleasure.
"Feels better here?" He goes back to the bud, pressing another finger to your womanhood as well. You can only nod in the middle of whimpers. "Can you tell why, pup?"
"It's more sensitive." Your breath stutters.
"Aw," He coos. "It's sensitive?"
"Yes, Jace, please don't stop." You beg, nails digging into his shoulders, hips raising to meet his pace. This is so far the best thing you have ever felt in your life.
"I do not plan on it, but there's more, agreed?"
You peck his lips. "I trust you."
He drags his finger to your hole, calmly entering you, your cunt clenching so tightly with the intrusion the brunette stops advancing, giving you time to get used to it. He almost moans at the thought of his finger replaced by his cock. "It's okay, pup, just breathe. You're tense. How does it feel?"
You furrow your brows, it's not either pleasant or unpleasant. "It's a tiny bit uncomfortable."
"Do I continue or stop?"
"Continue." You decide, and he keeps going until it reaches his knuckle.
"Tell me when to move."
You inhale and exhale, trying to loosen up as Jace advised you to, and it does not take long until you are lifting your hips again, the slight sting now completely gone and replaced by enjoyment. Jacaerys starts pumping his finger, and you moan, your whole body tingling with the new sensation. When he curls it, hitting a specific spot that makes your back arch involuntary and your hands grip the sheets, you are convinced you are floating. Jacaerys laughs amusedly as if you are the most diverting thing he'd ever seen in his life. He pulls it out, dragging it back to your bud, then pumping it inside again, and continuously so. A delicious torture that makes you whine uncontrollably. The wet sounds make Jace's cock pulsate.
"You want another one?" He asks.
You shrug, lost in your bliss. He inserts another finger, audibly groaning due to the tight fit, he does not have as much space anymore and your velvety walls wrap his fingers marvelously. He looks at you, looking for any sign of discomfort, but he finds none, your expression one of sheer delight. He pumps his fingers, your moans the most alluring thing he ever heard. You spread your legs further, giving him a better angle.
"Faster, please." You pant, your hand covering your mouth as you try to muffle your cries.
He obeys, his fingers unrelenting. "Which one do you prefer?" Jace questions. "Here," He presses his fingers firmly into your bud. "Or here?" He slid them inside you again.
"B-both."
"Yes? What about this?" He brings the thumb of his other hand to your bud while his two fingers keep pumping inside you, stimulating you exorbitantly. "Does it feel great?"
An answer doesn't leave your lips, there is no need to. Your gasp mixed with a tremble and somehow a scream does it for you.
"Oh, mhum, that's it," His pace increases. "My good beautiful girl."
You try to respond to him but you are just babbling and squirming, the corner of your eyes wet from tears. You press your lips together to get quieter, but the whimpers are far beyond your control.
"So wet," Jace muses. "You are soaking my hand, you know that?"
"Sorry."
He kisses you. "Never apologize for it."
Your moans get louder once again, and one of Jace's hands leaves your cunt to cover your mouth. You bite into it. "Shh, I need you to be a little quieter, pup."
You fear you cannot, you feel weightless, nothing crossing your mind but the feel of his fingers inside you and the chase for release. The palm of his hand brushing against your bud makes your eyes roll to the back of your head, and all of sudden the building pleasure crashes down, astoundingly powerful. You feel a shiver running from head to toe as your body spasms, your face twisted in satisfaction, and your heart racing. You whine as you keep grinding on his hand. Your breathing slows down, and your eyes struggle to remain fully open.
"Are you well?" You can hear the teasing in Jace's tone as he props each of his arms on one side of your head.
You fight off your drowsiness. "I have never been better."
He chuckles. "Want to come to an end?"
You rub his cheeks, shaking your head. "I want all of it. What about you?"
"Me too." He breathes in. "Are you ready?"
You nod and you kiss once again before he lines himself up to your entrance. "If you want to cease it, do not be afraid to tell me, I won't be mad. It's important to me that you are enjoying it too, yes?"
"I swear I will." You reassure him.
He enters you slowly, and you pinch your eyebrows as you grimace. Jace is quick to intertwine your hands together, squeezing them to offer you some comfort. Unlike his fingers, his cock does hurt, the burning almost maddening, as if he is ripping you apart. You close your eyes and sigh deeply. The prince groans in elation, being inside you is better than his mind could ever have imagined.
"Ah, fuck," Jace mutters, coming to a halt when his cock is halfway through. Your cunt swallows him almost cruelly and sweat covers his forehead, some damp locks of his hair sticking to it. His cheek grows reddish by the second. Jace looks pained but for a very different reason than you. "You are too tight, pup, it's agonizing."
His face falls into your neck, his hands almost crushing yours as he tries to control himself, the fluttering of your cunt around his member might as well drive him insane. His breath tickles you and you caress his hand as he trails little kisses along your collarbone.
His quietness is certainly a sign of how hard he is trying to keep his eagerness at bay, but he does not need to speak anymore. When Jace looks up at you, his brown eyes full of intimacy and admiration, you know he would wait as much as necessary, or just halt completely if you said the word.
"Keep going." You say.
He does, and his moan in the shell of your ear, as he enters you completely, thrills you, distracting you from a particularly sharp pain that steals your breath for a second. Jace doesn't move anymore, and you kiss his shoulder. "Just wait a little bit." You whisper, closing your eyes as you adjust to it.
"Take all the time you need, beautiful."
Despite the discomfort, you enjoy the fullness in the middle of your legs, as if not an inch of you is empty. And of being as close as humanly possible to him, the skin against skin feels glorious and promising. You squeeze his hand and Jace kisses you, consumingly and magnificent, for you don't know how long. You come back to your senses when his thumb circles your bud, making you immediately whimper and perk up. Your walls seem to loosen up a bit and you start to writhe curiously, wetting your lips as you do so.
"Should I move?" Jacaerys asks.
"Yes, please."
His first thrusts are sedulous, and your soreness hasn't gone away completely, but it becomes vague. You can barely distinguish pain and pleasure now, the sensations blending. Sincerely, you did not care.
You feel great and impatient, the stretch of his girth is marvelous. Jace starts picking up his pace, and you mewl, nails scratching his back. It's unlike anything you have ever felt, ravenous, delightful, exhilarating. Jace grunts, your spongy warmth welcoming him in the best way possible. He fucks you harder, quite desperately. It feels so good, and so right, as if you were made precisely for each other, the fit simply impeccable.
Bodies glisten with sweat, the room filled with lewd noises, and his balls smack against your ass repeatedly. It only arouses you more. Both your moans mingle together in unison, creating a filthy melody. Jace pants, his movements getting more ruthless as he gets lost in the moment. He knows he's close, his lower stomach tightening dangerously.
"Pup, I'm going–" He doesn't finish, being interrupted by his broken whines as you tense around him. "I need to pull out."
Perhaps it's an instinct or the memories of your bothersome nights where you would grind on your pillow until you were satisfied, but when Jace pulls his milked cock out, jerking it off, you motion for him to stop.
You grab his manhood instead, and settle it in the middle of your folds, sliding up and down on his shaft, legs spread and raised. Jace's eyes are wild and lecherous, mesmerized by you. He curses, his moans wavering at the sight of you using his cock so deliciously.
You are far too gone, the feeling so fabulous it makes you dumb. When his head presses to your bud it's the seven heavens itself. Jace's voice thickens as he reaches his peak, his seed smearing all over your stomach in hot loads. You giggle at the mess, helping him ride out of it, your hands wrapped around his length as you continue to slide on it.
Your movements, although resolute, get sloppier as you grow needier. You gather some of Jace's spent on your belly and bring it down to your cunt as you press your fingers to your bud firmly, mixing your juices and whimpering at it. Jacaerys could've come for a second time just looking at you. He pushes his cock back into you, stirring you up even more. You are drenched, supple, and throbbing.
It's numbing, the first few seconds of your release. You would believe you have died in these brief moments of sheer excitement, feeling as light as a feather. Your body shudders on the mattress, but your mind is somewhere else, in a state of overwhelming bliss.
Jace's body falls to your side, finding it difficult to breathe. He didn't know a better sensation and he is afraid he could no longer live without it anymore. Jace smiles widely, eyes full of wonder and contentment.
The world slowly comes back into focus again, noticing the details that were completely forgotten by both of you not long ago. The air is thick and smells indecent. You shift, laying your head on Jace's chest, his heart is hammering, and there's a dull ache in the middle of your legs.
Jace caresses your hair, kissing the crown of your head. "How was it?"
"Fantastic," You answer. "And for you?"
He chuckles, "Mind-blowing."
You laugh, fingers caressing his abdomen as you look up at him. "Would you like to do it again?"
Jacaerys raises his eyebrow, a smirk appearing on his gorgeous face. "Aren't you tired, pup?"
"You invigorate me."
Jace chuckles before kissing you ardently, the prospect of having you again sending jolts of enthusiasm through his body.
"Yes, I absolutely would like to do it again."

For the OTP Ask:
#21 with Arrowverse: Tommy Merlyn and Oliver Queen.
21. "I don't drink." "Oh really now? When did that start?" Sooooo.... this became basically a deleted scene from season one? I've never written arrowverse fic before, this was honestly very fun! I mean, angsty, ambiguous ending, but fun to write at least!
Be at the party. Be Oliver Queen. Be the idiotic socialite they all still expect you to be.
It’s not quite working the way it should, and Oliver kind of hates that. Most people are buying it, the strangers, the hangers on who’d always wanted to flock to and fill up the Queen and Merlyn parties back in the day. There’s a blonde girl by the bar who’s a little too young to be hanging with this crowd, and she reminds him of Sara with a sharp stabbing sensation right up under his ribs. There’s Laurel, real and here and so understandably mad at him, for dying and for surviving and for every shade in between those two extremes. There’s Thea, definitely too young to be at this or any party, still working on that drug problem he’d tried to curb when Amanda Waller had brought him back to Starling in time for Tommy’s birthday party, years earlier.
They all still see the Ollie they’d lost, the man who’d died the second Robert Queen pulled that trigger.
The memory of his father drags him out of his maudlin thoughts about how well his social camouflage is or isn’t working. He’s got a task, something to accomplish tonight. There’s a reason he’d arranged to have his welcome home party here, right across the street from the offices he’ll need to sneak away into, to cross one more name off the list.
“You look more in need of a drink than any man I’ve ever seen.”
Oliver tears his gaze away from the party, away from the target’s office, and discovers Tommy, standing beside him with a glass in his hand that he’s extending Oliver’s direction.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you at a party with an empty hand,” Oliver says, but he accepts Tommy’s offering. After his time in Russia, after his time with the Bratva, there’s basically nothing the booze in Starling City can do to him. Frankly, considering how he and Tommy had spent their youth, the only reason the Bratva’s vodka had been able to do anything to him at all had been because of his drier time on the island.
“Yeah, I don’t really drink at parties anymore,” Tommy confides.
Oliver takes a sip of the concoction Tommy’s brought him, and raises an eyebrow. “Who are you and what’ve you done with Tommy Merlyn?”
Tommy laughs, just a little, and ducks his head before he scans the crowd. Oliver doesn’t have to follow his gaze to note where his attention pauses: Laurel at the bar, Thea in the crowd, and ever so briefly on the blonde at the counter who reminds him of Sara.
“You don’t want to hear the story,” Tommy assures him. “Promise.”
“No, I think I do,” Oliver says. It’s not… quite right for the Oliver he’d been before all of this, but it’s in keeping with the man he’s trying to be publicly. The Oliver who regrets the decisions he’d made before he’d been lost at sea, the Oliver who’s come back to Starling City to do right by his family and his family legacy.
But there’s a script for stories like this, for reasons why socialites don’t drink at parties. It’s usually something like “I don’t drink white wine anymore, because I had a terrible day entertaining my father’s contacts at the club, and I spent eight entire hours at one table and the waiter kept refilling my glass of chardonnay and now whenever I smell the stuff, I dry heave.”
It’s usually silly problems like that, that don’t have any bearing on Oliver’s life anymore, that he can’t imagine caring about. But from the cloud that passes over Tommy’s face, he’s suddenly driven to remember Hong Kong, to remember escaping Maseo’s guard long enough to call back home, to remember being placed on a roof with a sniper rifle, because Tommy had trekked across the globe to find him on the faintest shred of hope that Ollie might still be alive.
It won’t be stupid socialite reasons, and Tommy confirms that when he steers Oliver closer to the stairs and to a quieter part of the party.
“While you were gone—” Tommy pauses to shudder, and swallow back the idea of the five years Oliver had been dead for all intents and purposes. “—my twenty-fifth, Thea snuck into the party, and she was, uh, I don’t want you to go off the rails about this, but she had a drug dealer, and, I should’ve been keeping a better eye on her. I tried, man, you have to know I did everything I could to be a big brother for her while you were missing, but this guy got into the party anyway, and I’d been drinking enough that it took Laurel intervening to keep Thea out of juvie, and ever since, I might not have been able to keep her out of parties, but I can at least make sure I’m sober enough to keep her out of trouble.”
He doesn’t mention that the drug dealer had died at the party, and Oliver doesn’t blame him. They’re not at a point where they can be totally honest with each other about what they’d been doing with their time in their five years apart, and they’re not at a point yet where Oliver can tell him about the Hood, about the arrows, about the list.
But they don’t have to be at that point for Oliver to know in his bones that Tommy is a good man. A better man than he’ll ever be.
“I know you did,” Oliver says, and lets himself give in to the impulse to throw his empty arm around Tommy’s shoulders and pull him into a hug. “There was never any doubt in my mind that you’d keep an eye on all of them for me.”
“Yeah,” Tommy says, and his voice is a little thick when he responds, but it’s nice when he actually hugs Oliver back. It’s… it’s nicer than Ollie deserves. All of this is, even the open animosity he’s getting from the Lance family. “Yeah, man, you know it was the least I could do, since I — since I couldn’t do anything for you.”
If they were other people, it might be the moment Tommy tells him about following a wild goose chase to Hong Kong, about clinging desperately to the hope that Ollie was still alive, not because he didn’t want to keep an eye on Oliver’s family for him, but because of the simple fact that he missed him.
But they’re not other people, and they’re both maintaining reputations, and Tommy’s reputation might be hiding less of a dark interior than Ollie’s own fakery, but it’s no less of a mask. One of these days, at least for a minute, he wants to sit down with Tommy without a mask to hide behind. He wants — well. He wants a lot of things, and one of those things is that he wants to share the whole truth of himself, the reality of everything from Lian Yu and Hong Kong and his return to Starling and Russia with someone, and Tommy’s the only candidate he’s got. Not just because he couldn’t bear the idea of burdening his mother or Thea with it all, not just because Laurel is rightly not speaking to him, but because Tommy’s… Tommy. He wants to tell Tommy about Shado and Slade and Sara and Ivo and Anatoly and Tatsu and Maseo and Constantine and goddamn Amanda Waller. He wants to tell him about his father, about the list, about whatever the fuck the Undertaking is.
But Tommy is Tommy, and therefore Tommy is a good man, and Ollie—
Well. He’s not Ollie anymore, for one thing. And he’s not a good man anymore either, if he ever was. But maybe, maybe, he can fix his city, and if it costs him his life, well. At least he’ll be content to know that he’s got Tommy, keeping any eye on everyone left who’s still precious to him, including Tommy himself.
“I love you, man,” Tommy murmurs, just quiet enough that it could get lost in the music and noise of the party if Oliver wanted it to.
“I love you too,” Oliver says, and then he has to tear himself out of the embrace he’d started. He has to duck into the stairwell with the excuse of needing to track down a bathroom. He has to find his bow and hood where he’d stashed them.
He’s got a name to cross off.

———————————————————
->Discovery of Oliver's Secret Identity:
One evening, during a lavish party at the Queen mansion, chaos erupted as intruders infiltrated the premises, sending guests fleeing for safety. Amidst the confusion, April found herself separated from her family, lost in the crowd as panic spread throughout the house.
As she sought refuge on an upper floor, April stumbled upon a masked figure clad in green, engaged in a fierce battle with the intruders across the hall. Fear gripped her as she instinctively reached for the nearest objects, hurling them towards the intruder in a desperate attempt to defend herself.
To her surprise, the masked figure approached her with caution, his voice gentle and reassuring as he spoke. April's initial fear gave way to curiosity as the figure revealed himself to be none other than her uncle, Oliver Queen, known to the world as the vigilante Green Arrow.
In disbelief, April questioned Oliver's motives and identity, uncertain of whether to trust him. However, Oliver's gentle demeanor and familiarity with her family's history convinced her of his sincerity.
With a mixture of shock and awe, April watched as Oliver removed his hood, revealing his face beneath the mask. In that moment, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place, and April realized the truth about her uncle's secret identity.
Overwhelmed by the revelation, April struggled to comprehend the implications of Oliver's double life as both her beloved uncle and the masked vigilante who fought to protect their city. However, as Oliver extended his hand in reassurance, April made a silent promise to keep his secret, knowing that their bond as family was stronger than any mask or disguise.
With a newfound sense of understanding and connection, April emerged from the encounter with a deeper appreciation for her uncle's heroism and the sacrifices he made to keep their family safe. As she reunited with her loved ones, April carried with her the weight of Oliver's secret, a silent guardian of the truth amidst the chaos of their tumultuous lives.

April possesses a natural talent for archery, honing her skills with dedication and passion. She first discovered her love for the sport under the guidance of her uncle Oliver, who recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue marksmanship as a means of self-defense.
Though April also knows how to handle firearms, her favorite weapon of choice is a crossbow. She finds comfort and familiarity in the weapon's design and mechanics, favoring its precision and versatility in combat situations.
Whether at home or at the Arrow Cave, April can often be found practicing her marksmanship with her crossbow, fine-tuning her aim and mastering her technique. She approaches each shot with determination and focus, channeling her passion and conviction into every arrow she looses.
As she grows in skill and confidence, April embraces her aunt Thea's words of wisdom, remembering what she's fighting for with every shot she takes.
The quote, "If you remember what you're fighting for, you'll never miss your target.”, becomes a mantra for April, guiding her in both her marksmanship and her life's journey as a guardian of justice and defender of her family.
With her unwavering determination and her trusty crossbow in hand, April stands ready to face whatever challenges may come her way, knowing that as long as she keeps her eyes on her target and her heart set on her purpose, she will never miss the mark.

The blue canary - Thea Queen x Male Lance!reader
*a/n: Laurel didn't die in season 4*
● you had known Thea practically since birth through your older siblings Laurel and Oliver being childhood friends and eventually dating
● you were really close but grew apart at 12 when Oliver and your other sister Sara died in the Queens Gambit ship wreck
● it wasn't until you were 17 and Oliver (and later Sara too) came back that you reconnected
● it's a real slow burn relationship not getting together until you guys were 22 after the whole Damian Darhk fiasco
● by this point Thea has become speedy and you've become the blue canary following in your sister's footsteps
● you already knew your way around a gun thanks to your dad as well as being trained in hand to hand combat by Laurel and Sara
● but your weapon of choice are your blue shurikens
● Laurel and Sara are even more protective of Thea than Oliver is when you tell everyone you're dating
● you expected the whole typical older brother "if you hurt her I'll hurt you" speech from Oliver but instead he's just like "if you ever break her heart those two are the ones you need to be afraid of" he says pointing to Laurel and Sara
● Laurel "he's right you know"
● "Why are you threatening me?? I'm your brother??"
● Sara "yeah but we like Thea better"
● meanwhile there's Quentin "how is it that every single one of my kids has dated a Queen??"
●"it could be worse, I could be dating Oliver instead of Thea"
● Quentin "don't even joke like that Y/N"
● Oliver “Hey I'm right here”
● getting interrupted all the time by your siblings
● even at your apartment they let themselves in with keys you didn't know they had
● you and Thea are busy making out on the couch and Sara just pops in
● "Sara! Knock first!"
● "I come to see my little brother after being gone with the legends for 6 months and this is the welcome I get?"
● one time you joined the legends going back to the 1800's
● as fascinated with the waverider as Thea was she is perfectly fine not time traveling anymore
● "Hey babe, Sara invited me to go on another one of their missions you want to join?"
● "no thanks, I'll stay here in the present with electricity and proper plumbing"
● Thea is much better with a bow and arrow than she is with your shurikens
● she was trying to throw one at your target practice set up in the arrowcave when it flew completely past the target and nearly hit Oliver in the head which he ducked just in time
● "Okay no more shurikens for you speedy"
● "come on Ollie I was so close to actually hitting the target this time!"
● "were you??"
● date nights also getting interrupted when Felicity calls you in to stop ongoing crimes nearby
● “damn and I was really looking forward to dessert too”
● Felicity “please tell me by dessert you mean actual food”
● Thea “well there was definitely going to be whipped cream involved”
● you and Malcolm Merlyn do not get along at all
● “Thea do you really need to date this guy, I expected someone better for my daughter”
● “Merlyn if you don't shut up I'm going to cut off your other hand”
● Thea “do I need to separate you two??”
● it's still awkward doing any sort of PDA in front of Oliver
● you kissed her goodbye before heading out for a mission and Oliver is just glaring at you
● “Y/N and I have been together for two years, I really can't kiss my boyfriend in front of you yet?”
● “nope,” is all he says making a show of picking up his very sharp arrows
● Laurel whispering to you “you're lucky I'm the one who caught you guys in the med bay earlier, if it had been Oliver those arrows would be in your chest right now”

It was a bright and sunny day and I was spending the day at the park with William. Olliver was working as Green Arrow right now. I knew he didn’t want to put William in danger, but the city needed a hero and that’s exactly what Oliver was. It took William a while to accept Oliver as the Green Arrow, but he eventually did. It took him being saved, and yes he was put in danger still after that, but Oliver would always save him.
I was reading a book while William played soccer with some kids when my sunlight was suddenly blocked. I looked up confused and we met with a man in a suit that I’d never seen before.
“Can I help you?” I asked and he smiled.
“Possibly, are you Y/N Y/L/N?” He asked and my eyes widened.
“Who are you?” I asked closing my book.
“A friend of Oliver Queen.” He answered and smirked. My heart skipped a beat and I realized the danger far too late. He grabbed me and I tried to scream, but he covered my mouth with a wet cloth. I struggled as best I could, but he was much stronger than me. It wasn’t long before I was going limp and my vision was fading to black.
*Oliver’s POV*
Felicity and I were looking for Diaz, but haven’t gotten any hits. I always hated leaving William and Y/N since he’d already gone after my son before, but I needed to find him.
“It’s like he’s a ghost Oliver.” Felicity said and I sighed.
“I know…” I said, running a hand down my face. My phone started ringing and I saw it was William.
“Hey buddy, what’s up?” I answered.
“Dad! Y/N was taken!” He said, panicked.
“What?” I asked, sitting up straighter.
“We went to the park and I was playing soccer with some friends, but when I looked over I saw someone carrying her and she wasn’t awake.” He said.
“William, I need you to tell me exactly what he looked like.” I said, trying to keep my voice steady.
“He was wearing a suit and he had short black hair and a dragon tattoo near his ear.” He answered and my blood ran cold.
“Diaz…” I whispered. Felicity shot her head over and looked at me with wide eyes.
“Dad, is Y/N gonna be okay?” He asked worriedly.
“She’s gonna be fine buddy. I’m gonna call your Aunt to pick you up okay?” I asked.
“Okay.” He answered.
“I’m gonna bring her home buddy, but you’re gonna stay with Thea for a bit until I do, okay?” I asked and he sighed.
“Just bring her home, please…” He begged, it sounded like he was crying now.
“I will I promise.” I said and hung up. I quickly called Thea and asked her to pick William up and explained what was going on.
“Felicity, Diaz has Y/N and we need to work fast.” I said and she nodded.
“What park were they at?” She asked. I thought for a second, I didn’t ask William, but I knew her favorite park.
“I didn’t ask, but her favorite park is the one near Mario’s.” I answered and she nodded. She started hacking into the camera to see if she could see anything.
“Got it!” She said after a few minutes. I looked over her shoulder to see Diaz putting her unconscious body in a van. He looked up at the camera and smirked. He knew we would find it…
“Did he just…”
“Yes.” I growled.
“Smug bastard.” She said and tried to zoom in on the license plate.
“Shit, he took the plates off.” She said and I groaned. Of fucking course he did. My phone rang and I looked over to see a blocked number calling me.
“Hello?” I answered.
“Oliver Queen! I’m assuming you’re little tech friend found the footage already and you saw me with your precious little Y/N.” Diaz said with a smirk.
“If you do anything to her I swear I’ll-”
“You’ll what? Kill me? Let’s face it Oliver, you wanna do that already.” He said and laughed.
“What do you want for her.” I growled.
“Giving in already? I thought you’d last a little longer.” He chuckled.
“Diaz…” I growled.
“I want you dead, Oliver. You’re in my fucking way of owning this damn city and as long as I have Y/N you’re gonna do exactly as I want.” He said and I growled.
“You fucking touch her and I’ll kill you!” I said and he chuckled.
“You’ll have to find me first.” He said and hung up.
“Felicity tell me you go a location for that!” I said as she clicked the keys.
“Not an exact, it was bouncing between towers.” She said and I threw a glass at the wall.
“We need to find her now!” I shouted.
“And we will, but you need to calm down.” She said and I sighed. I knew she was right, but this is my wife we’re talking about.
*Y/N’s POV*
I woke up with a headache and my wrists chained to a pole. Once I got my bearings and my head settled a bit, I attempted to escape. Unfortunately that only resulted in my wrists being raw. I sighed and slumped against the wall and just waited.
After some time I heard the door open and looked up to see the man that kidnapped me. He had a smirk on his face and his hands were behind his back.
“Glad to see you awake, Y/N.” He said and I narrowed my eyes at him.
“Who the hell are you?” I asked.
“Well don’t you have a mouth on you.” He said and pulled one of his hands in front of him. It was a set of keys.
“I’ll unlock your wrists if you’re a good girl.” He said and I rolled my eyes.
“Who are you?” I asked again.
“Ricardo Diaz.” He said and my eyes widened.
“Ah so Oliver’s talked about me, how sweet.” He said.
“W-What do you want?” I asked and silently cursed myself for stuttering.
“I want Oliver out of the picture. And with you here, he won’t be worrying about the other stuff I’m doing.” He said.
“Now, let’s get you out of these cuffs, hmm?” He asked and walked towards me. I eyed him suspiciously, because why the hell would he let me out of the cuffs without a catch? He knelt down and smiled at me. He placed the keys on the floor next to him and I furrowed my brow. He pulled his other hand in front of him and my eyes widened. It was a fucking collar. He quickly grabbed my hair and pushed the collar onto my neck. I tried my best to keep away from him, but he was stronger and locked it around my neck.
“What? You didn’t actually think I would just unlock the cuffs without a way to keep you under control, did you?” He asked and chuckled. He picked up the keys and unlocked my wrists. I pulled them to my chest and gently rubbed the raw skin.
“Now, be a good little bitch and you won’t get hurt.” He said and I glared at him.
“Tell me where your little husband’s hideout is.” He said and I scoffed.
“Like I would ever tell you.” I said, sneering at him. He smirked and reached into his pocket. I felt a painful shock shoot through my neck and I screamed in pain. It stopped after a few seconds and I looked up at him in horror. He pulled a remote out of his pocket and smirked.
“Like I said, be a good little bitch and you won’t get hurt.” He said, waving the remote around.
“Now let’s try this again. Where is Oliver’s hideout?” He asked.
Hours later I was laying on the floor with my tears staining the concrete. The pain was intense and I was trembling uncontrollably from the aftershocks.
“Where is Oliver’s hideout?” He asked again. I didn’t even have the strength to answer anymore. I just laid on the floor, gasping for air and letting the tears fall to the floor. Every part of my body hurt from the electricity running through my system. I was surprised I hadn’t passed out yet. There was a soft click and my whole body started to convulse again. I screamed and withered on the floor, my throat already raw the screams were almost silent at this point. It felt like it would never end, but about a minute later the collar stopped. Diaz let me recover again before shaking his head at me.
“Come on Y/N, Oliver Queen can’t be worth all this.” He said, crouching down to my level. I took a deep breath and looked up at him.
“Oliver is ten times the man you’ll ever be…” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. He shook his head and sighed.
“You’re not getting it.” He said and pressed the button once more. I screamed as the electricity made its way through my body. The pain was becoming more and more unbearable. I felt every single muscle contracting, my teeth clenching so hard it felt like they might break, my eyes rolling to the back of my head again. Finally, the collar turned off again and I laid there gasping for air. Diaz looked down at me with anger and annoyance.
“You’re fucking stubborn huh?” He said and stood up.
“How about I make you a deal?” He asked and I weakly looked up at him.
“You tell me what I want to know and I promise that once Oliver Queen is dead, you and William will be safe. I won’t do anything to either of you, hell I’ll even make sure the two of you are protected.” He said and my heart clenched at the thought of William. There’s no way he has him too, right?
“What’d you say, Y/N? Deal?” He asked.
“Screw you…” I said, voice still nothing more than a whisper. He sighed and pushed the button again.
“Have it your way.” He said as I screamed in pain once again.
*An hour later*
There was a loud bang and Diaz looked at the door behind him. We heard shouting and gunshots. Oliver. He looked back down at me and growled.
“Thought it would take him longer to find you.” He said, annoyed. He cracked his neck and pulled a gun out of his pocket.
“I’ve got something to take care of, for once be a good little bitch and stay put.” He said and left the room. I could hardly move as the aftershocks slowly stopped. At this point, I wasn’t sure if I was flinching because of the shocks or the loud gunshots. I couldn’t focus on anything so I didn’t notice when it grew eerily quiet. It wasn’t until I heard footsteps rushing closer to me that I realized. I tried to move, but I was so weak. I felt my eyes slowly closing as my body finally got to relax. I heard the door open and someone saying my name. I couldn’t make out who it was, but I felt them pulling the collar off and lifting me into their arms. I faded to black as someone carried me away from the cell.
*Oliver’s POV*
I sat next to Y/N as she laid in the hospital bed. She had electric burns on her neck and her body was incredibly weak. The doctors said they were shocked that she was even breathing with how much electricity she had coursing through her. They said it would take a little while, but she would be okay. Diaz was lucky he was already dead or I would strap that fucking collar to his neck until he was dead.
Y/N’s hand twitched and I shot my head up to look at her face. She stirred slightly and slowly opened her eyes. They quickly closed again and she groaned.
“Y/N? Honey?” I asked and she slowly opened her eyes again. She looked over at me and her eyes widened.
“I-Is this real?” She asked in a whisper. I nodded and grabbed her some water. I held the straw up to her lips and she gulped half the glass down.
“Thank you.” She said, her voice still weak, as I placed the water back down.
“You shouldn’t thank me. I’m the reason this happened to you…” I said, gripping her hand and kissing her knuckles.
“But you saved me.” She said with a small smile.
“You can’t keep getting put in danger because of me, Y/N.” I said with tears in my eyes.
“Oliver, I knew the risks when you told me. I also told you that you wouldn’t be getting rid of me no matter what. This is no different.” She said and I let a tear fall.
“Look at you. You were fucking electrocuted because of me! I should have never gone back to this life…” I said and she gently lifted my face to look at her.
“You’re a hero, Oliver Queen. Everyone in the city needs you to stop people like Diaz.” She said and I shook my head.
“You and William are more important the the city.” I said and she smiled.
“Is William okay?” She asked and I nodded.
“He’s fine, he’s with Thea.” I answered and she sighed in relief.
“Thank God…” She said and slowly closed her eyes.
“Get some rest, I’m not going anywhere.” I said and kissed her hand.
“I love you…” She whispered before she fell asleep.
“I love you too honey… I promise I’ll protect you next time…” I whispered and held her hand a bit tighter.

hey adler just wondering your thoughts on the big ol' polycule of kevkatheaaron
um... i will be a disappointment, i'm sorry 😭
i'm not a fan. i've read fics, and enjoyed them, but they are very much not my go-to ship nor go-to polycule. i think part of it is that if Kevin is in a relationship with a woman, i can't imagine anyone else but Thea. a) because i wouldn't wish that man on anyone else but someone as strong as Thea and equally a drama queen and b) i don't much believe in Kevin dating a woman, period. personal opinion! that's all!
oh and c) to me Katelyn is for Aaron or Thea, no one else. god knows Thea x Aaron x Katelyn would NEVER work, so, impasse for me. i'm so endlessly careful if i have to separate Kate and Aaron bc i love them both sm and i want to do right by them, so to me if it's not worth it, then i don't really ship them with other people? contrary to Kandreil or Kerejean, i feel Ke
JO I JUST SEEN THE THEA INCLUSION.
THIS CHANGES THINGS.
ohohohoho how interesting!!!!
hold on a second lemme screw my head back on right.
Thea / Aaron...? Thea / Aaron... Hmm. Vibe is: divorced gays who separated after realizing their homosexuality but they fall in love w the same 2 people (Kev and Kate) and turns out these bitches bi & they just not attracted to each other, so now they got shared custody of the other 2 hotties. they would be kind of hot together tho... oh lord jo what have you done!
omg?
yes. just yes. i'm on board. i'm so fucking on board i just got my boating license and i'm navigating this ship offshore into the pacific ocean.
Kevin: That's Thea, my gf
Kevin: That's Kate, Thea's gf
Kevin: and that's Aaron, Kate's bf
me: And who are you?
Kevin: I'm Aaron's bf.
yes yes yes. this polycule is perfectly balanced, as all things should be. I WISH U AN ENDLESS SUPPLY OF SWEET DREAMS JO. THANK YOU BESTIE. I AM HAVING A BLAST (and a stroke)

Welcome Home Baby Brother Pt. 2 (a Queen!Reader x Malcolm Merlyn verse One Shot....PT. 7)
IMAGINE...being the eldest child to Robert Queen, (Being in a relationship with Malcolm Merlyn,) and having dinner for the first time since your baby brother, Oliver, came back from the dead after five, long years.
Word Count: 2,437
Warning: Possible out-of-character canon characters! Spoilers for any readers who haven’t watched Arrow (I guess lol)
A/N: I hope you all enjoy it!
Previous Parts - 1 2 3 4 5 6
“So, do you plan on telling him about you and Mr. Merlyn?” The question from Thea as the two of you were seated in her room waiting for Oliver to get out of the shower and for dinner to be ready made you flinch and look up from your cell where you had been attempting to do some work for Queen Consolidated while you waited.
You knew that it was going to be brought up, but you had hoped that it would wait until tomorrow.
No. You had no intention of telling Oliver about you and Malcolm. Not only was it something you didn’t know how to bring up, but it was also something that maybe your baby brother didn’t need to know about just yet.
Your gaze fell to your left hand where the diamond ring sat. Malcolm had proposed only a few months earlier during a three-week business trip in France for a joint Queen Consolidated and Merlyn Global business deal. Since then, neither of you had spoken about setting a date or anything to do with a wedding ceremony. A part of you was nervous to bring it up; you didn’t want to make Malcolm feel pressured and didn’t want to somehow, accidentally, bring up memories that would sadden him or anger him by reminding him of Tommy’s mother. The other part of you was nervous to bring it up to Malcolm because…because you weren’t sure you wanted to be married to Malcolm Merlyn. Not right now. Not with Oliver being alive and home and all those suspicions about Malcolm being involved with the Gambit bringing up not anger but dread.
You couldn’t imagine what would happen if that box got opened. You weren’t sure you wanted an answer to whether Malcolm had a hand in your family’s yacht going down.
“Oliver doesn’t need to know about my love life, Thea. There is no reason he needs to be told. Besides, it is probably best that we don’t overwhelm him too much. It’s like…how Mom wants to not bother Oliver with her and Walter just yet. Oliver needs time to settle and adjust. No doubt, he’s hardly at any time to mourn dad or…or even Sara.”
Thea nodded as you spoke and then rolled her eyes saying, “So, you’re scared to tell him?”
“Terrified.”
How could you not be?
Oliver from five years ago had been an asshole, but he still tried to fight every boyfriend you had ever had.
The last thing you needed was Oliver trying to fight Malcolm the moment he got back to Starling City, not to mention the awkwardness that could pop up between Oliver and Tommy as a result.
Sighing, you stood and brushed a hand through your hair while saying, “Look, I promise that I will tell Oliver, but for tonight lets keep that between us.”
“Us and Tommy, mom and Walter, Raisa, most of Starling City, and…” Thea continued as the two of you walked out from her room and headed downstairs.
She wasn’t wrong. Too many people knew and too many people could let it slip to your brother. But if you were being honest, your biggest concern was Moira. She hadn’t budged even a little on her dissatisfaction toward your relationship with Malcolm, and Moira took every opportunity she could find to try and keep the two of you apart. Even with you now living in Malcolm’s home.
It had been amusing at first, then weird, and then frustrating. It was like there was something she was trying to tell you without telling you.
Like Moira knew something about Malcolm she wanted you to know but couldn’t bring herself to spell it out.
“Tommy!” Thea grinned as she bounded down the last few steps and practically skipped over to where Tommy and Oliver stood, reconnecting in the entryway.
You met the gaze of your brother’s best friend (who just happened to be your fiancé’s son as well) and forced an awkward smile as Tommy greeted Thea. The two of you were on good enough terms, but you also knew each other’s secrets – secrets that neither of you wanted Oliver to know about just yet. It made the situation uncomfortable, and you were kicking yourself for not having spoken openly about it with Tommy before this dinner.
“Well, this is a sight that I have missed.” You finally spoke up, plastering a smile on your lips as you closed the gap between yourself and the others. “And to think Starling City was only just beginning to heal from the terror of Oliver Queen and Thomas Merlyn.”
Most of Starling City probably didn’t care that Oliver had returned. Those who were excited were, of course, your family and Oliver’s party friends.
Still, the thought of having Oliver home meant that there was a chance for some semblance of the familiar. As close to the “good old times” that you could get to with your dad being gone.
“We will try not to do anything too crazy.” Oliver smiled. His voice soft. He sounded sincere, like he truly had zero intention of being his old self, and his eyes held a softness that younger Oliver would have never shown – it would have ruined his party boy persona.
“Make sure you don’t.” you laughed as Risa stepped into the hall announcing that dinner was about to be served.
Thea snorted, “Let’s not keep mom waiting.”
Oliver chuckled at your sister’s attitude and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, teasing Thea about “Making mom happy” as they followed after Risa.
You couldn’t help but chuckle knowing that your stepmother or Walter had sent Risa to “collect” the four of you; no doubt, Moira was having flashbacks from your childhood to when you, Oliver, and Thea would get so caught up in something the three of you had chosen to do together that it would take your father coming home and being “stern” for the three of you to finally come back to reality.
The thought was bittersweet, but you didn’t mind it. You appreciated that you could remember things like that. Over the past five years, there had been plenty of days where memories of your brother and father had been the only thing that helped you get out of bed and get on with your life.
“Hey Y/n,” Tommy hissed, grabbing your arm, and stopping you from following after your brother and sister. He waited for the two of them to be out of earshot before saying, “Listen I just…wanted to make sure we were on the same page about…things. Like, what gets told to Oliver and what can be saved for some other time.”
You knew what he was talking about, and it had nothing to do with you and Malcolm.
It was kind of sweet that Tommy was so concerned about telling Oliver certain things because he wasn’t sure how his lifelong friend would react. It spoke volumes on how much Tommy respected and cherished his friendship with your baby brother.
You whispered his name and offered a small smile as your gaze slipped to your left hand and the diamond engagement ring that sat there. The smart thing would be to remove the ring altogether. After all, if Oliver didn’t see the ring, then he couldn’t ask about it, but you didn’t want to give the impression that you were ashamed of Malcolm and that you wanted to hide your relationship with him.
“I promise that I won’t say anything to Oliver about what you’ve been up to the last five years as long as you don’t say anything about me and your father. I just...I haven’t figured out how to tell Oliver about us yet.”
Tommy stared at you for a long moment, taking in what you had said, and then breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. “Alright, alright. Thank you, Y/n. I…thank you.”
“Any time, Tommy.” And you moved into the dining room to join the others.
While Tommy and Thea sat to either side of Oliver, you chose to sit across from Walter placing Moira (and Oliver) at the head of the table. You didn’t mind as it gave you a chance to speak softly to your stepmother and Walter about Queen Consolidated and it gave Thea the chance to soak up as much of Oliver’s attention and closeness as she desired. Thea needed that. She had been only thirteen when the Gambit went down – life was hard enough for Thea with being in her early teens, the loss of your father and brother hadn’t helped things at all.
Besides, you would have plenty of time to catch up with Oliver.
It isn’t like he’s going anywhere any time soon.
“…I was hoping to swing by the office.” Oliver’s voice pulled you out of your thoughts and you quickly snapped your full attention in his direction.
“Queen Consolidated?” you laughed, interrupting whatever Walter had been saying as a response to your brother. “You want to go to…how hard did you hit your head while on that island?” you teased while lifting your glass of wine to your lips.
“I had a lot of time to think while I was away.” Oliver smiled, although it didn’t reach his eyes. “I need something to do with my time, and I was thinking, why not make that something the family business?” his blue eyes looked from you to your mother and then back on you, “Unless this is your way of saying you want the company all to yourself?”
“Shut up, brat.” You laughed with a playful roll of your eyes, “I think it’s a brilliant idea for you to have a hand in Queen Consolidated. Dad would want it.”
“Then it’s settled.” Moira was beaming, clearly happy that Oliver had matured enough to show an interest in your family’s business.
You were proud of Oliver as well, but you couldn’t help but wonder what exactly had motivated your baby brother to want to take an active role in Queen Consolidated. Surely, most people who came back from the dead would want to take some time to rest and readjust to life. But Oliver didn’t seem to want to do that.
Actually, that look on his face…it’s determination. He’s home and he has a list of things he plans to do.
But what?
What has happened to you, Olive?
*
When you were younger, the thing you feared the most was that your baby brother and sister would hate you. That they would grow up and realize how lame you were, and they would then want nothing to do with you.
That morning when you got that call that the Queen’s Gambit had gone down, that your father and brother were lost at sea and presumed dead, you felt so silly for your childhood fears. You knew then that the worst thing imaginable was having those you loved ripped away from you in a moment, in the blink of an eye, without warning.
And now, standing outside with Oliver and avoiding going home to an empty house, you felt that fear in your stomach. Like this was all a dream and that you would wake up, having imagined Oliver being alive, and you would be back in that cold, dark world where your baby brother was gone. Taken from you by fate? A tragic accident at sea? Or…at the hands of unknown enemies.
“So,” Oliver sighed, turning to you with a smile, “When do I get to meet the person who gave you that?” he gestured toward crossed arms, at your engagement ring.
“The wedding?” you shrugged, trying to play it cool at first as you looked anywhere but at him. “It…the engagement is actually pretty new. We don’t have a set date yet.”
“Does mom disapprove?” Oliver asked the question softly, his gaze locked on you so tenderly.
You snorted, “Of course she does. Mom…doesn’t think he’s good enough or me. Which is crazy because he’s a businessman, he’s very successful, and his company actually has a lot of dealings with Queen Consolidated.” Your amusement turned to frustration as you spoke, frowning at your own words and the reminder that Moira could pop off and spill the beans about you and Malcolm at any moment.
“Do I know him?”
Your cheeks flushed at his question, and you found yourself chewing on your bottom lip instead of answering.
Humming, Oliver nodded and leaned toward you, placing a kiss to the side of your head as a sleek, black limo pulled up. “I know that I don’t have to worry about you, Y/n. You’re the smartest out of us all. If you’re sure enough about this guy to marry him, then I will trust you and try to wait patiently for you to introduce me to him.”
“Ollie.” You murmured, eyes filling with tears as you wrapped your arms around him, tucking your face into his shoulder as he returned the hug. “I fucking missed you, Oliver.”
He nodded in agreement, saying “I missed you too, Y/n.”
It took all you had to pull away from him, and it was only after the two of you had agreed to see each other again tomorrow that you finally forced yourself to move away from your baby brother and walk to the limo and Malcolm’s driver.
“Jude.” You nodded, refusing to show your surprise as you stepped past him.
“Miss Queen.” He greeted you with a tilt of his head and a small smile.
Smiling in return, you waved goodbye to Oliver once more before climbing into the limo and letting the door shut behind you.
It was only after you were off your family’s property and Oliver was out of sight that you looked beside you at the man who was supposed to be overseas.
“Darling.” Malcolm hummed, his lips turning upward into that ridiculously charming, crooked smile of his.
“You said…”
Leaning toward you, Malcolm placed a kiss to your lips while murmuring, “You needed me here more.”
Tears prickling in the corner of your eyes, you forced a breathless laugh and pulled away, settling back into the seat. “Thank you, Malcolm.”
“Of course.” He took your hand, placing a kiss to your knuckles, and set it in his lap – seemingly mindlessly playing with the band on your ring finger as he turned to stare out the window, watching the world fly by.
Content and exhausted from the day, you rested your head on his shoulder and let yourself drift off to sleep listening to whatever jazz number Malcolm had chosen for the drive.
*

OKAY OKAY Lucas and Nik get injured and end up with Danny for safety purposes, Vin gets upset because he's her safe space and feels betrayed by him for letting Lucas in but Dallas tells her everything he did to get here for her and how his brother died (mayhaps it's never permanent we decide later) so after some stewing Vin has a normal conversation with him
Look I can see Lucas struggling to like stuff his duffle, because he knows this is hurting Vin, and he'd rather risk infection on the streets than be the reason she is in pain again.
She comes into the room and sees him putting in the last of his stuff.
"What do you think you're doing?" He sighs, knowing he can't make up an excuse. "What does it look like? I'm getting out of your way." "I never said I wanted you to go." "Maybe not to my face, princess, but we both know you would like it better if I found other accommodations." "I told you to stop calling me that." Only she's not sure if she actually had. Lucas was the only one who had ever called her 'princess'. The moniker was technically hers, but she had never felt like it fit. She had never even seen the inside walls of the Queen castle. She had believed herself a commoner a lot longer than she had known the truth. He met her gaze then nodded. "As you wish. But still I should go." "Don't be stupid, you can barely more your arm," she gestured to him as he tried to move his duffle from the bed. "You could make that worse if you leave." "And if I stay, I'm gonna hurt you worse. And I can't be the reason you're in anymore pain," he shook his head and she can see the tears he's fighting back. "So I'll find something else, somewhere else." "You think leaving is going to cause me less pain?" "Vin--" She moved to him, taking the bag and tossing it to the side. "No. If you leave, and something bad happens to you, what do you think that's gonna do to Dallas, to me?" "I thought you wanted me gone?" "I never said that." "You sure as hell have acted like it." He winced, and she didn't know if it was out of pain or the reality of his words. So Vin did the one thing she could think to do get him to stay. She reached across the space, a couple of inches that felt like lightyears, and took his hand. "I wanted you to be able to go back. I wanted you not to be working for Merlyn, to stop yourself from turning in Thea. I wanted you to be able to erase the things that drove us apart." "If I could--" "Let me finish, please," Vin took her other hand so she could turn his face to hers. "I know we can't go back. I know the things you did, they'll always be there. And I wish I could tell you that they won't keep me at arms length, but I can't. What I do know is, even if I didn't want to admit it, when you were shot I was terrified that I would never see you again." "I'm right here," he said, squeezing her fingers. "You weren't though," she shook her head. "For an hour I thought, I thought you weren't going to make it. I thought, this is it? This is one of my only tethers to home, just cut. No valiant roar, no fighting tooth and nail to stay, just you, gone. And it felt like losing my parents all over again, but so much worse." "You and Dallas are my only connections to home," she continued with a sad smile. "And if you die, I don't think I could handle that for real." "Princess..." "So stay," she pressed. "Maybe it's selfish, but stay anyway. Because if you leave, I'm going to imagine the worst. You promised me once that you would never leave my side, and you'd always protect me. And if you leave--"

Chapter 36
05th January 1996
Back home in Ray Mill and with Thea having finally fallen asleep after the third good-night story, Camilla poured herself a glass of red wine and sat down on the cosy sofa in the sitting room - her sitting room, that was, in her house. For the first time in her life she owned a home that was entirely hers and though she had never expected to feel that way, she had to admit that it felt good. This was her very own little piece of paradise, she was the boss and could design and furnish it all just the way she liked it, without having to argue with somebody who didn't like her kitschy decorations or her collection of commemorative mugs, and that was very nice. She particularly appreciated it after last week; Birkhall had been heaven, it had been wonderful to be with Charles, the Queen Mother had been way too kind and Thea and the other children had had a good time, but once again she had come to realise how "unfree" that life as a member of the Royal Family actually was, how little they could decide for themselves, how every little step had to be planned and arranged and how much fuss everybody made of everything. And it had only been Birkhall which came nowhere near the flumery of the Big Houses like Balmoral, Sandringham or Buckingham Palace, not to speak of Windsor Castle, but still. She was glad that she didn't have to deal with that on a daily basis.
The phone rang and she rushed over to answer the call before Thea would wake up again. It was Charles. "Hello Darling. How are you doing? Back in London safe and sound?", she asked and his desperate sigh told her that this was not quite the case. "What's wrong, darling?" "Diana…", he almost disgorged her name, before telling Camilla that his wife had freaked out completely when he dropped off the boys at Kensington Palace, screaming and shouting at him in front of their sons, and though he didn't told her what she had called Camilla and Theodora, she could vividly imagine her outbreak. "Darling, I'm so sorry.", she said. "Perhaps it was all a bit too early and we'd better…" "No!", he interrupted her with determination. "It was just right! I love you both and you're a part of my life. Thea is my daughter and the half-sister of my sons. God knows how many little bastards the slut would've had by now if it wasn't for the pill…" "Charles!", she interrupted him harshly. She understood his frustration but that sort of language really wasn't necessary. "I… I just think that we need to be careful, darling.", she added. "I don't want to offend anyone. And Harry early didn't feel comfortable." "He's just his mother's mouthpiece!", Charles ranted. "Even if that's the case - we have to be considerate with him. We can't force him to accept thing which upset him. At the end, it will only divide us all. Listen, I've been loving our week and I'm so happy to see our little darling getting along so well with William. He doesn't seem to have an issue with us, but Harry does and we should take it seriously. Please don't bring him in situations that make him feel uncomfortable. Give him time. Anything else will only deepen the trenches between you and him." "Hmpf…", Charles moaned, not quite satisfied with her advice but he knew deep inside that she was right and he'd better not rush things as long as one of his boys had such difficulties with it.
"How is your grandmother?", Camilla asked, subtly changing the topic to a lighter one. "She's brilliant.", Charles replied. "Back at Sandringham with the others and already had an argument with my mother as Anne tells me.", he added and Camilla laughed. The old lady really was one of a kind. If she herself still were as half as fit at 95, she'd probably have achieved everythingshe coul ever have wished for. "Oh did she?", she asked. "She did. Apparently Mama wasn't all that happy when she heard about her party. Not that she had an issue with it taking place or you two being there - but she doesn't like to be bypassed.", he explained. "Of Course she doesn't.", Camilla giggled, vividly imagining these two tiny women passionately arguing with each other. It could have been funny but the fact it was partly because of her and Thea's presence at the Queen Mother's New Year's bash made her feel rather uncomfortable. She didn't want to be the reason for anyone to argue about, she didn't want to cause trouble. And once more she felt those fears and doubts creeping up on her, that insecurity and uncertainty whether all of this was actually right. It had already caused so many people a heartache and it kept on causing problems everywhere… perhaps it just wasn't to be.
"Darling, stop it!", Charles said harshly. "We've come so far! Look what we've achieved. The public supports us, well, not everyone maybe, but an awful lot of them, you're doing so well and our little darling has been absolutely brilliant. She is happy, isn't she? And I'm happy. Very happy. We're almost there, darling. If only Diana and Mama would finally agree on a divorce… then I'd be free and could marry you." Camilla choked heavily. This was the first time he had spoken the words and somehow it scared her. She loved him. Of course she wanted to be his wife. Charles' wife. But the wife of the Prince of Wales? An official member of his crazy family? Good lord… and what about Thea? She had had to so many changes over the past two years, first her and Andrew's separation and divorce, the new home where they'd just settled themselves, the news of Charles being her biological father instead of Andrew, the new family she suddenly had… how much more could her little girl possibly cope with? "She wants us to get married.", Charles said. "She talks about it all the time…" Camilla couldn't deny that. She kept on asking when it was going to happen and why it took so long because for her sweet little innocent, eight-year-old heart, two people who loved each other getting married was the most natural thing in the world and just something that was supposed to be. And perhaps it really was that simple. Perhaps she just had to trust that her love for Charles and his for her was the only thing it took and that everything else was going to fall in place somehow...
One month later, on February 7th, 1996, Andrew married Rosemary in a small and private civil ceremony that was attended only by her three sons, as well as Tom, Laura and Thea, proudly in charge as a bridesmaid, who still adored her daddy Andrew and was equally adored by him. Though they hadn't announced anything in advance, there were lots of photographers outside of the registry office, but Tom and Rose's boys took good care of her and everything went well. There were pictures in the papers and of course people were talking and there were pros and cons, love and hate, and perhaps she just had to accept and embrace the fact that it was going to be like that for the rest of her life now. Andrew and Rose had beamed with happiness on the day and though Camilla was over the moon for them, she couldn't help feeling a little jealous somehow as well. If only she and Charles could have something like that. Just going to an office, signing the papers, becoming husband and wife. No fuss, just them and their children… but this was never going to happen. It was not possible to marry just Charles, the man, and it was impossible for the future monarch to get married for the second time round, let alone in a simple civil ceremony.
