Hi! I have never used an ask box b4… but I found out how to and wanted to ask a question. Anyway, I was curious on whether you got inspiration for Neo from toga? Bc they are similar and even if it was like an accident (that happened to me once with an oc named Phoenix) I was wanting to know. (Sorry if I spelt anything wrong or it doesn’t make sense I’m not good at this)

Actually, no, I didn't get inspiration from Toga, they just happen to actually be pretty similar in certain things!

Neopolitan is a canon character from the animated show RWBY, and while I've developed my Neo further than what we get in canon, Neo and Toga are just that similar in a bunch of things that were already established, and I think that's beautiful in its own way!

To name a few, Toga and Neo both had shitty parents that treated them unfairly for their own reasons (Toga for the blood fixation, Neo for her mutism/heterochromia and fear of what she could do with her powers- they treated Himiko like some kind of demon for needing blood, and Neo ended being like a witch in front of her father's eyes due to her powers), they both want to live being themselves and wore a mask to fit in society until it was too much to bear, both Neo and Toga found more acceptance among other criminals that accepted them...

And funnily enough, they both can change appearance to be someone else, even if Toga's transformation works through the consumption of the blood of the person, while Neo's abilities are a bit more open in possibilities (she creates physical illusions, the limit is pretty much her imagination on how to use them, but that includes changing her own appearance at will)

They both even infiltrate into a tournament as someone else for their own reasons, and that's just another beautiful canon similarity

Now, there's also the fact they're kind of, serial killers, even if Toga's more driven by her fascination of blood, and Neo's a little sadist that finds enjoyment in a good combat (Neo's a trained spy/assassin), but at the end of the day, they both beat and stabbed people to death

I guess there's also the fact they both fixate on going after someone in particular through the series, although Toga's interest for Izuku and Ochako is driven by infatuation, while Neo's chase on Ruby is fueled by pure vengeance

Their similarities just fall into each other by themselves just so nicely, that it's funny, and I love it

Hi! I don’t know if you answer drawing questions but I’ll ask anyway

You draw Himiko & Neo a lot and both have fangs/sharp teeth and I sometimes spend an hour just trying to get the position of the teeth right so if you are able to could you give some tips?

(I also have a lot of oc’s with sharp teeth/fangs and it pisses me off when I can’t draw the mouth properly)

it took me a while to answer this because I'm not really a good teacher (I myself don't know what I'm doing when I draw-)

Either way, uuuuh, I don't do anything special, per se, but I do look at a lot of references online when I'm drawing teeth and mouths to practice from there, that's p much how I do it! Use references! For different angles! Or even tutorials from other people to make it easier!
