Bad Fandom Take of the Day: "c!Dream planned the prison to have all the things needed for revival: lava, a lectern, and books. 👀" (Insinuating that c!Dream was fully planning from the start on killing and reviving visitors [read: c!Tommy] over and over because... Evil, I guess?)

Meanwhile, c!Sam: "You didn't even want to have BOOKS."

We know categorically that Dream’s plan from the beginning was not to kill and revive Tommy, because Tommy’s death and revival happened after the seven-day point at which Sam had been supposed to let Tommy out. So we know that that was improvised.

However. In all fairness—and I’ve mentioned this a couple of times before—my jury is still out on whether or not Dream wanted books in the cell with him!

We still don’t know the specifics of Dream’s reasoning to do with the prison, we still don’t know what parts of his plans there succeeded and failed. And honestly it kinda makes sense for Dream to want to have the ingredients for revival right there with him! What if Ghostbur visited him wanting to be brought back, what if he needed to prove his power to a skeptical visitor (and this did happen!), etc etc. Or what if he wanted books for another reason—maybe to trigger Enderwalk for Ranboo or something like that?

The only evidence we have that Dream didn’t want books in the cell with him is Sam’s word. And I trust Sam in that scene about as far as I can throw him. (And sure Dream doesn’t deny it, but he’s being threatened! Sam says lots of untrue things Dream doesn’t deny in that scene.) For that line in particular it’s not so much that I think Sam’s outright lying, as much as I know that Sam is completely deluded about Dream’s character, motivations, and intentions.

Scenarios I can easily imagine that would result in Sam delivering this exact same line in the exact same manner include: 1) Dream told Sam point-blank “no books” but Sam insisted and got his way; 2) Dream didn’t really care one way or another so didn’t argue when Sam suggested books; 3) Dream secretly wanted books but rather than say it himself and seem kind-hearted, he either waited for Sam to bring it up, or reverse-psychology’d Sam into arguing for them; 4) Dream wanted books and Sam, willfully believing the worst of him, is misremembering (remember how Sam says “you wanted this” about literally everything bad about the prison, including things Dream definitely didn’t design). I think any of these is possible.

But honestly the first two possibilities, that Dream didn’t actively want books but let Sam push back, seem slightly less likely to me. Especially option one. Because, like, clearly Dream has strong opinions about the prison’s design when it comes to the treatment and security of the main prisoner. Think of the courtyard. Think of the waivers. Think of how he and Sam clearly had a pretty strong disagreement over the food situation (Sam’s so touchy and weird about food!), but Dream insisted on potatoes even when there was no actual reason for him to other than plausible deniability. If Dream was so damn insistent on being cruel about something that didn’t matter, something that he knew would actively hurt him, it’s hard for me to imagine Dream saying, “eh, sure, give the prisoner something to entertain themself, it doesn’t matter to me,” when he’s being so draconian in every other respect.

TL;DR let’s not use Sam’s word as decisive evidence, especially not in a scene where he claims Dream wanted Tommy imprisoned and that he deserves torture because of how harshly he designed the prison. Man’s got every reason to exaggerate.

Okay, maybe a bit of Ranboo lore in the mcu au!

So, he actually doesn't remember where he were born, he knows that he accent isn't English or European at all, so he knows he isn't exactly from here.

As opposed to Tommy who just received a super serum and hoped for the best, he was somewhat influenced and infused with alien DNA and the powers of the space stone, which given his powers and his hybrid look.

He kinda of needed the stone to live but Hydra isn't kin in just letting their best tool with this font of energy and weapon, soo they designed a lot of convoluted ways and mechanics and protesis to maintain him, but no, he needs it.

And which comes Wilbur when he makes up with Tommy, projecting something way less intrusive and actually helpfull for him and the stone to coexist together, and maybe some computer intelligence help with figuring the nowadays things that he encounters!

Which makes the dream manipulation worst because it's not just "do my bindings" but more "let everyone and everything you love go to become part of my power or else I am going to destroy everything", which, scary!!

He had amnesia since before Hybra time!

And vitiligo!

Ooo maybe the crown that he uses is what Will made to make him stable!!

He screamed like a enderman when Will called Tubbo "weapon of mass destruction" because?? It's his friend?? And if he is weapon of destruction than what would be him?? A complete disaster???

Him needing the stone to live sucks. It had to suck when he was first being in the Hydra base all those years ago. At least Wilbur helped with it when him and Tommy made up and found each other again.

Dream stay away from the memory boy. I will stab you. God.

The crown being the one that makes him stable is perfect. Let’s go!

And then we get angst on the last part. Ouch. Oh god. Ranboo is going to need a hug after that.

im seein dsmpsonas becoming a thing and thats super cool and i plan on drawin my own but i dont have the motivation currently SO instead im just gonna talk abt them

first and foremost this is all rp/character talk, when i say someones name its their character not the cc themself

AIGHT SO hes essentially just like. my minesona but dsmp au. hes just kinda. there. hed find a swamp and build a lil hut in it to live in. probably occasionally just Show Up to the main smp to sell fish, potions and fully enchanted fishing rods. only fishing rods no other tools

they showed up too late to rly have any investment in l’manburg or anythin so theyd very much agree w/ ranboos ideaology of ‘choose people not sides,’ but theyd have MUCH more of a backbone abt upholding that. theyd wanna try to give ranboo the confidence to stand up for that too. theyd probs mostly align w/ ppl like eret (whos known for switching sides to support people) and punz (whos never rly been on a side, only supported people. theyd be iffy on egg punz tho) and ofc ranboo (who is, of course, our beloved). theyd absolutely fuckin HATE how factioned the main smp is, hence why they only ever show up there rarely and only to sell

hed try to be sympathetic towards everyone. hed try to see every persons side of the story, hed wanna understand everyones motivations and i think for the most part he would. hed also defs be a dream supporter but would NOT be vocal about it around most ppl, for the sake of avoiding conflict. hed for sure be of the opinion ‘this man needed SUPPORT and MENTAL HELP not to be THROWN IN PRISON TO ROT he wasnt always like this and we SHOULD be tryna get the old dream back’

theyd stake their claim on the entire swamp they build their home in and would claim it as neutral ground, and theyd enforce that shit with a VENGEANCE. they dont often wear full armour but they always have it on them. fully enchanted. weapons too. you so much as MENTION anything that could lead to or is involved in conflict theyre fully armoured and hunting you down. they dont stand for any kinda slander of any person in their swamp. theyll sit you down around a campfire with your worst goddamn enemy and if youre anything less than tolerant youre fuckin DEAD. if the egg is so much as MENTIONED youll be eating trident. no conflict. no hatred. the swamp is neutral grounds on penalty of DEATH, motherfuckers

Tommy: - racoon hybrid (still working on the ears I know he looks like a catboy) - matching bandanas w/ Tubbo - Wears lots of layers (long sleeve under a tshirt, sometimes w/ a sweatshirt) because he hates the cold (the worst places have always been cold) - not shown here, but he sometimes wears the “Your Tubbo” compass

Tubbo: - technically not a hybrid, more a spirt but not really? kinda like blessed by a spirt? if that makes any sense?? (someone remind me to link the explanation once I make one) - matching bandanas w/ Tommy - rings!! they all have different meanings, and in this case symbolize important people :D - the gold one one on the left is the wedding ring (Ranboo) - the silver one is actually very polished iron, made from scraps of the “Your Tommy” compass (Tommy) - gold on the right might have engravings, I just haven't figured it out yet (Michael) - there’s also supposed to be scarring on his ear, I just forgot

Ranboo: - he is very messed up because whatever he is mixed with should not be mixed with an enderman - part of why his horns are different lengths, the one on the “enderman half” wasn’t able to grow properly - although they’re semi-light, they’re still uneven, and has lead to him tilting his head one way a bit - to help with this, his ring is gold coated netherite - the particles my beloved - cries because I forgot to draw freckles again - his hair isn’t split like that, it’s dyed half black - his ears are the one part that is even (I just messed them up) - as far as his biology goes he got pretty lucky with his ears - listen man enderman ears are like bird ears - have you seen birds ears? - uhh crown is a work in progress because I forgot to draw it and added it last minute in the lineart
