One of my favorite bits to come out of everything going on in the world right now is seeing other, equally as pissed off, witches saying “like to charge reblog to cast” under people’s posts about how angry they are at the “united” state’s government

Ooh this reminded me of a job offer manifestation spell I did last year that helped me land my current position! (Thankfuckbecauseitwasmyfirstpostgradjob)
Its a cute little spell bag with basil, ginger, clover (luck), and cinnamon! I also added three pieces of citrine (abundance and prosperity) and infused it with an enchantment and intent.
Play around and follow your intuition with spellcrafting! It can be super rewarding and it’s fun to bring together various components of my craft!
Herbs that would help you with job employment
Because lets face it in this economy, we all need a little help- The theme I'm going for is success and overall job employment. HERBS: - Bay leaves: Success, Wish Granting/Manifestation - Cinnamon: Success - Basil: Success - Rosemary: Success - Ginger: Success - Pecans: Job Employment/Maintaining Employment - Devil's Shoestring: Job Employment/Maintaining Employment COLORS: - Green - Gold Substitution could be white ADDITIONAL ITEMS: - Green/Gold Markers - Incorporating the number 8 in somehow like 8 bay leaves or 8 cinnamon sticks - Paper for your petition/taglock So yeah, lmk what y'all think or what else could be useful for this intention! Enjoy witches!

I don’t know if any other practitioners feel this way, but I have noticed how much more sense it makes for me to think of spell components/various magical correspondences as ingredients in a recipe and not a concrete thing with zero flexibility in usage.
Take cinnamon for example, it has many different correspondences: protection, strength, enhancement of divination, love, sex, luck, abundance, etc
In the same way, the cinnamon we use in cooking (even outside of kitchen witchery) can be used in various ways with very different affects and flavors. Typically we see cinnamon used to add a kick of flavor and sweetness to many decadent dishes: cinnamon rolls, french toast, even a pumpkin spice latte! But cinnamon is also used in savory dishes to ground out or balance a flavor profile (pho broth for example).
In the same way, I feel as if we can approach many spell component combinations the same way. What is the goal of the spell? How can I use my “ingredients” to reach that desired effect? Its fun to look at the various correspondences and use them to enhance the overall outcome and experience of a spell.
Keeping with my cinnamon example, I like using cinnamon sticks as a focus/wand for combining spell components due to its nature of being a tree wood and honing strength into the spell casting, at the same time, I also love eating cinnamon candy for courage and protection (bonus points if I have cinnamon bear gummies because it adds a nature of gentle courage and protection due to my association with it being a candy my mother would give me when I was anxious.)
I dunno if anyone else approaches their craft this way, but this has been so helpful for me!
