my thoughts on priscilla:

i loved it. maybe i’m biased because i love the way sofia coppola directs her films but i loved the aesthetically pleasing scenes obviously,

cailee did an amazing job portraying the loneliness, the emotional neglect and abuse that priscilla had gone through, i loved the minimum amount of dialogue i think it REALLY highlights how cilla couldn’t have her own thoughts and opinions without elvis having an insane temper tantrum (the chair scene…) and like i said it gives a big emphasis on her loneliness. its like all she was to him was a pretty virgin and a trophy to come home to after cheating on her with women his age

jacob also deserves his round applause for showing how much you should hate his character (at the same time lowkey all i could see was nate jacobs 😭😭😭) . i walked out of the auditorium with more hatred for elvis than i already had when i walked in, also the trauma dumping after the second meet up was so REAL lmfao
