“sorry, i just have to grab something real quick.” with that, kyungsoo slips into the master bedroom, before he catches what’s happening by the periphery of his eyes. “oh.” it’s a scene that he’s all too familiar with and he remains frozen in place, unsure whether he should leave the man to it or join him. “.... do you need any help with that?” he asks, amusement palpable in his low voice. / @artisn

I'm once again thinking about the missed opportunities to have Klaus and Kol bond more. Part of Klaus' whole motivation as a vampire is to get his werewolf part back and to finally be stronger than Mikael (sort of, I'm simplifying) both of which can be obtained by breaking his curse. But Kol? Kol is the only other original that can relate to having a fundamental part of themself ripped away from them. Klaus might not have known he was a werewolf until he killed, but he likely still had a connection he couldn't explain, as evident by him going to watch the wolves transform. And something he'd never been able to explain was now gone. He might only be able to realise the connection afterwards through its absence.
Kol though. Kol had grown up with magic, a connection to nature and the world around him in a way the rest of his siblings supposedly didn't have. And then he gets turned. And not only has his baby brother died, his father has just murdered him and the rest of his siblings after forcing them to drink human blood, which he'll later learn. Now, not only does he have to deal with the grief of Henrik's death and also his own but also the loss of his magic. A loss that's likely only worsened by Kol being a self-proclaimed child prodigy.
Kol is pretty much the only one who could understand what Klaus is going through with the binding of his wolf. We know Kol searched for ways to get his magic back/carry on practicing magic in the same way that Klaus was looking for ways to break his curse. While Klaus likely could still feel his wolf there despite being bound, Kol has no access to his magic anymore. I just think they should've been able to bond or connect over their shared loss of an intrinsic aspect of their selves at the hands of their parents

Helo yes, I just want to say that I found your Forgotten Vows verse again, and also your Secundus verse, because of @thesatiricaldemon 's "Beneath A Broken Sky" and all I have to say is:
... how dare you both, now I have two AU fic ideas that sprouted from them because of inspiration! [Positive] (Actually three, but that one is just an afterthought)
*snrrrk* How very dare we XD But hey, I'm glad that both my fics and SatiricalDemon's have been inspiring to you! Love to know more about what percolating in your head! (And hey, don't dismiss that "afterthought" idea -- my ORIGINAL idea for an Alice: Madness Returns / Corpse Bride crossover after the release of the former was for them to meet after Alice killed Dr. Bumby and Victor had gone through both the "corpse bride" incident and its aftermath, but while I was sorting out that, I had a stray thought of "but what if Victor's parents hadn't believed him and instead sent him to Dr. Bumby to force him to forget the whole thing...and we see where THAT ended up. XD)

+ @webxfshame asked: Butt stare
+ " You know, I can FEEL you staring at it. " It had been a relatively QUIET night . The kind where it seemed outright that CRIMINALS were either working away on some kind of evil plan ELSEWHERE , or had just decided the EFFORT wasn't worth it . Nights like this were RARE in New York, but in the short period she'd been WEARING the costume ; Mary Jane had come to APPRECIATE them much more than she could VOCALIZE . Especially when it was CLEAR that a certain PART of her suit was being extremely appreciated from the LOOKS of it .
" How long have you been EYING me up, TIGER ? "

@chaoslulled ( satoru ) — binding vows.
SUGURU GETO KNOWS HE SHOULD BE more nervous than he is. perhaps he should even be angry, shunted off by his family as a bargaining chip to unite their clans politically without any say in the matter. and he is bitter about it, but only in the same way he has been bitter for his entire life: this is not new. it only proves what he has already known about his family since he was very young.
that bitterness, he knows, is his own. he cradles it carefully within his heart, guards it like a starving dog against the curses that shove stolen emotions into his soul like a hand down the throat. surges of anger, fear, envy, melancholy, rejection linger on the back of his tongue, but the bitterness is his. so is the shame at the root of it all, deeper still.
the gojo clan estate is massive. easily several times the size of his family home and exponentially more opulent, he finds himself feeling lost as he stares up at the entryway. no one told him what to do when he actually got here. was he supposed to wait at the gates? should he knock? the place is so damn big, how is anyone even supposed to hear it if he does—
suguru's hand is already poised at the wood of the door when it swings open, and suddenly he is face to face with the bluest pair of eyes he has ever seen. even behind the shades, they are arresting, wide and gleaming, framed by snowy lashes and a face that can only be described as objectively beautiful. when they met before, it was brief and gojo was shrouded in a hood to hide away from the rest of the suitors. suguru remembers the flash of those eyes when they stood together on the balcony and he handed the frustrated heir a lighter. the hint of a cheekbone and tousled white hair. but that was just it: a flash, like a passing car.
here, right in front of him, gojo's ethereal beauty is almost overwhelming.
❝ gojo-san—! apologies, i... ❞ he stammers, steps back out of gojo's personal space. ❝ wasn't sure where to go. are you... ❞
a glance up and down at the bedhead, the slippers, the tousled clothing. ❝ did you just wake up? ❞

Break a Vow, Make a New One || Sabé & Anakin
Starter for @corruptedforce
Since his return from the outer rim, Anakin behaved strangely.
It wasn't his USUAL strangeness, either. No. Sabé was used to that, even fond of that. This was different: Something was wrong.
Another night where she woke up due to his side of the bed being cold. It'd barely been a week —give or take a few hours, because she didn't feel like actually checking a clock— since he'd returned and as the days went by, it became clear to Sabé that he wasn't doing well. He tried to hide it, of course; most likely because he didn't want to worry her. But she had gotten quite good at reading him and she could see it in his eyes, in the way his dimples didn't quite show anymore whenever he smiled. There was something on his mind.
A bit laboriously because of the sleep that clung to her mind and due to her pregnant belly getting in the way, Sabé stood from the bed.
"Anakin," she called as she stepped out, looking for him and finding him, as she had two nights now– not in a row, but still enough times for her to start sensing a pattern: standing in front of one of the windows, looking out. "What time is it?"
From the look of it, it was still dark outside. It was still late enough that the birds, whose chirping she'd grown to dread in the mornings where they could afford to stay in bed later than usual, hadn't woken up. And yet here they both were: awake for reasons still unknown to Sabé. But she could sort of guess, and the hypothesis her mind provided her with as she stepped closer to him wasn't at all a comforting one.
After he had gone missing for so long, she'd promised to never let him get lost again, and she intended to keep that promise.
"Can you tell me why is it that I've woken up three times now without my husband in bed with me?" her tone left it clear that she knew something was up, but it was not accusatory- it was actually kind of lighthearted. Sort of soft, too, since she liked being able to call him her husband. "The view is beautiful, but nothing extraordinary this late at night. What's on your mind?"

“you’re awake.” kyungsoo smiles, reaching for another mug to pour eden some coffee. he’s unsure how to act after the night they had, which is almost ridiculous considering that they’re legally married. still, everything has changed and he wakes up with uncertainty every day. “did you sleep well?”

A man who feels that so intensely.... who promised to protect someone and instead had to clean up the mess that was made... not knowing what would happen if he were to remember what he did....and simply sit there helpless as the scars of the abuse and the sudden crack in his temper festered inside Souji's mind...
