#this is the first appearance of Dr. Fate’s tower#very interested that Dr. Fate says he needs Inza’s help because#‘she may discover a clue that I- because I must spend my life in the tower- may miss!’#also he takes her there after her penthouse is destroyed and I wonder if that’s the first time she’s ever been there#and really how much she knows about him at this point#and then the thing with the villain’s spell being too much for Inza#‘those words- burn- sear my mind!’#we’ve seen Dr. Fate have the shield Inza’s eyes before from something that wasn’t even antagonistic#it seems that she is really vulnerable in how villain’s target her to get at Fate#and because what she experiences at Dr. Fate’s sight is so inherently too much for her#I’m actually really interested in why specifically they’re targeting her#here when Dr. Fate first attacks the villain#the villain reacts with ‘Doctor Fate! then my attempt on Inza in the penthouse failed!’#is it an element that this point that there’s a magical tether between the two of them?#is it just an attempt at emotional pain or would killing Inza actually hurt or hinder Dr. Fate?#dc#kent nelson#inza nelson#my posts#comic panels
