Okay I got more!

Theory kinda???

Artemis gives off tired dad/tired old man vibes and here's what I got.

It seems like he treats them as children or in some way as juveniles. Like he has to parent them though what kind of dad he is I don't know lol 😂

But let's go over some things for my lil silly theory.

Artemis will put himself in danger to protect the vampires that he's sired

Example

He never really seems to get angry with them just giving them disapproving looks. Even when Duke leaves he doesn't yell, get angry or get agressive just gives him a angry/disappointed glare.

We never see him train with them { yet } either seemingly which makes me wonder if he knows there's a skill imbalance with him being with skilled there and he might not wanna hurt them??

We never seen him yell at them just get annoyed at their behavior especially if they're being childish or mess up.

When we see Duke and his friends practice fight Artemis rolls his eyes but I kinda think it's at Duke being bad at fighting but also the other vampires mocking dude. It's giving a very " these are mine.... Where did I go wrong.." kinda vibe with the eye roll.

We get a lot of visuals of him face palming but never getting abusive or actually angry just annoyed. He just looks annoyed and tired

Then there's this, my favorite picture!

which me and my friend were joking about nonstop but that Artemis let's his vampires get away with a lotta stuff, it seems like. He doesn't even look mad just annoyed and I find it hilarious. Like he's so tired, annoyed and so used to his vampires childish behaviors.

They don't know what complicated me in making that fluffy dress. I felt like I was going flat with every stroke I made haha

It's funny how Missi becomes a vampire in the animated video for "The Night", only using the Duke's cane.

We know that the Duke was bitten but because the staff has that ability to turn a normal person into a vampire. This alone gives me more questions than answers but we know that this girl is very tough being an undead.

For those who have not seen the animation, you can still see it on YouTube under the name "The Night". And from there you can continue with the rest of the videos because the story continues.

Yesterday was National Boyfriend Day and I missed it Noooooooooooo!!!!! But I'm a day late I'll still show my support for this day here. One of my BFF's thought of me and Duke from Vampair having a date in the graveyard and it fits the vampire vibe so well. Black candles lighting up with some red glasse around the grave and yee if you read cursive then you probably know who's she is ;).

Duke and I holding hands on this gorgeous night he's been my happiness and I adore him so much and my friends always support me and my ship name Ansuke it means a ton to me. I do not have a boyfriend in real life but I do have one in Daria's universe xD

Hi so the fandom I'm really into called " The Vampair Series ". I just found out that Daria confirmed Duke's birthday is February 15 plus a new episode is going to be aired as well. I'm a massive fan and have a huge crush on Duke for a while and this made my day because the vampire I simply adore and love has a birthday close to mine which is February 19.. Were February buddies. I can't believe there is a "Cursed Cat Alastor Controversy" and that once again I had to have the evil lepreconartist who lords over the fandom making his gold off of Medrano's despair explain to me in order to understand what the fuck is going in on the fandom, yet again ... But I kind of hate you all so here's my hot take...

It's actual petty bullshit.

It's the equivalent of a fanartist calling out an AMV maker for "art theft" and demanding that a video they worked hard on be taken down because they used a piece of fanart for a character in an AMV tribute to the character that both the fanartist and the AMV maker (who is already an artist in their own right) already do not actually fucking own. Like, regardless if the AMV maker gives the fanartist credit. Instead of being honored by it, when they should know better that neither of them ever actually even own the shit to begin with, yet they still demand "credit" for fanwork.

I once saw a popular Asian artist in the svtfoe fandom demanding a boycott of the popular fan run merch store TheMysteryShack just as the beautiful fan made artbook Tales of Rebel Princess was about to launch exclusively through there because she alleged that the shop owner had stolen one of her friends fanart designs on a goddamn fucking Steven Universe tarot card pack of all things but I still really liked her Star fanart, so when I tried to respectfully explain to her that I wouldn't be boycotting the shop because of Tales of Rebel Princes launching and how I thought it was personally in very poor taste to not just contact the shop owner privately about the matter and instead making a big stink in public about boycotting his shop when she knew that one of her other artist friends that we knew she had also collaborated with in the past was just about to debut another big collaborative art tribute book dedicated to Daron and Star vs. there through this guys shop! And essentially it would be sad to see her knowingly taking business away from her other friend like that and demanding others in her following do the same and over something as small as a deck of Steven Universe cards, especially in understanding how little love svtfoe gets, since she was also a well known svtfoe fanartist ... All I got in response was "Well I'm happy for my friend but I'm Korean and you're just a Filthy American who couldn't possibly understand how disrespectful something like this is in my culture and blah blah blah if you instant on further harassing me about this I'll block you!"

And I was basically like "suit yourself being fake and having a stick up your butt honey I'm still getting my Star vs. artbook!"

And then she blocked me.

Good riddance. As if Miss Heinous would honestly ever head bang to Ruberiot...

But I guess what I'm trying to get here is that like...Oh, I'm sorry? You wanna make fanart for western cartoons? You gotta play by western rules then. Like it's late night here and I'm sorry if that sounds harsh. But it's true.

If Aurelio Voltaire honestly deserves to have a deal be cut in my opinion so he can finally officially own his share of the "Vampair" series after Daria Cohen stole his voice to make it (half dry humor, half serious here, to be quite frank about this) then coma0423 deserves to cut a deal so that Amir Talai can have a bit of financial comprehension and his percentage of whatever kind of (I'm guessing financial) ~"credit'~ that Coma is now demanding from other fanartists who make Cursed Cat Alastor fan merch since Talai , after all, did design the original concept sketch that would become Cursed Cat Alastor that Coma saw and then decided to just runaway with when they made the meme ...

Listen to me... Fanart belongs to everyone and no one by nature of it being made by fans and no one can truly own a "fan concept" expect for the true creator of the thing that it's based on. Unless that thing is already in the public domain. And if it is it becomes Schrodinger's Cheshire Cat.

Schrodinger's Cursed Cat Alastor belongs to everyone and no one, babe. He belongs to The Hazbin Hotel Fandom and The Hazbin Hotel. If he actually becomes canon in the show somehow, then he'll belong to Amir and Viv, actually, maybe Coma will get proper credit then, but the concept won't even really be theirs anymore, just as it even isn't really officially theirs now, even if they officially do get hired.

First you're telling me that I'm not allowed to fuck the radio demon ... Now you're telling me that I'm apparently not even allowed to kiss a cute wittle kitty cat plushie of him between the space on his head between his ears if said plush wasn't crafted by or sold explicitly by the fanartist who again, stole the concept sketch of him from Amir Talai in the first place?

Stop making all these petty dramas off someone else's work that only feed the evil leprechaun more gold off of someone else's work or start making you're own original work from your own original concept that you can actually claim your own copyright to I'm exhausted.

Ever hear the phrase once something leaves your brain it belongs to everyone, not just you anymore?

This goes triple for anyone making fanart of someone else's work and that's a fact. Especially if it's only ever an extremely memed up version of an already canonically existing character that you were only so lucky went viral.

Stop the bullying. No one fanwork is that special. Just do your best to honor the source material and be flattered by other fanartists imitations of your fanartist imitation... It's the circle of cursed kitties and it feeds us all. *smacks paw down*

Please, I would like to talk more about Artemis. I love what you say about him 😭

Okay sorry I haven't been online much, been dealing with some scary family health emergencies.

But let's talk about Artemis for a second 💕

Something I find interesting about Artemis is the pictures

Artemis as a werewolf

I feel it kinda says a lot about his character.

Artemis is a character all about discipline

The fact even as a werewolf with claws that can cut stone and shred mental and teeth that can easily Rio flesh that he'd still use his short sword.

Artemis is a character that seemingly doesn't rely on the more beastly animal like nature be he a werewolf or vampire. He's all about skill and the skills that he's worked hard in crafting over time.

In the picture as a werewolf he isn't showing his teeth and that's not surprising since even as a vampire Artemis hardly EVER shows his fangs, he doesn't hiss like other vamps or uses his fangs as a intimidation tactic.

I have a small theory that Artemis either never got into the animalistic side of being a " monster" or did once and went to far causing him to become more disaplined in his behavior.

¡Hice una version de rowena de threnody!

A diferencia de su versión de the vampair series ella es una persona asustadiza y extremadamente paranoica(principalmente cuando se mencionan a los grinvoes),en este universo ella también es una figura maternal para artemis.

Rowena inicio siendo una sirvienta más de los grinvoe encargada de cuidar de artemis cuando este recién "llegó a la familia",ella sabía de lo que ellos eran capaces de hacer y trataba de no hacerlos enojar,pero ella no tardo en encariñarse con el niño y de forma casi inconsciente empezó a velar por el y su seguridad.

Rowena le enseñó a artemis varios conocimientos sobre medicina,ya que ella en el pasado trabajo como médica pero que tras ser amenazada dejó su trabajo y terminó con los grinvoes,también le enseñó cosas de botánica y en general ella actuaba como su maestra,su criada y su madre.

Rowena trataba de proteger a artemis lo más que podía,pero no podía hacer mucho con la diferencia de poder que había entre ella y sus jefes,por lo que cada intento de ayudar/proteger a artemis siempre terminaba en ella encerrada en una mazmorra durante toda la noche por su "desobediencia y falta de gratitud" lo cual llegó a escalar a castigos más violentos hasta un punto en el que rowena temía por su vida.

En algún momento artemis decidió ayudarla haciendo un trato con los grinvoes de que si le dejaban convertir a rowena en vampiro y dejarla marcharse el sería más obediente y no los cuestionaria(por lo menos no tanto como antes) y ellos aceptaron, dejando que rowena se vuelva uno de ellos y la dejaron irse con la condición de que si decía algo en contra de ellos la matarían.

En la actualidad rowena vive en un invernadero lejos de ellos y es visitada regularmente por artemis,ella todavía tiene episodios de paranoia y ataques de ansiedad pero por lo menos ella sabe que mientras mantenga su boca cerrada ella y artemis estarán a salvo.

Ella sigue amando la jardinería,la botánica y suele vender hierbas medicinales,ella solo se alimenta de sangre de animales y de vez en cuando suele tomar sangre humana que artemis le trae.

I made a cover of rowena from threnody!

Unlike her version in the vampair series she is a scared and extremely paranoid person (mainly when grinvoes are mentioned), in this universe she is also a motherly figure to Artemis.

Rowena started out as another Grinvoe servant in charge of taking care of Artemis when he just "arrived into the family", she knew what they were capable of doing and tried not to make them angry, but it didn't take long for her to become attached to the boy and almost unconsciously she began to look out for him and his safety.

Rowena taught Artemis various knowledge about medicine, since she worked as a doctor in the past but after being threatened she left her job and ended up with the grinvoes, she also taught him things about botany and in general she acted as his teacher, his maid and his mother.

Rowena tried to protect Artemis as much as she could, but she couldn't do much with the power difference between her and her bosses, so every attempt to help/protect Artemis always ended with her being locked in a dungeon for the entire night for her "disobedience and lack of gratitude" which escalated to more violent punishments to a point where Rowena feared for her life.

At some point Artemis decided to help her by making a deal with the Grinvoes that if they let him turn Rowena into a vampire and let her leave, he would be more obedient and not question them (at least not as much as before) and they accepted, letting Rowena become one of them and they let her leave with the condition that if she said anything against them they would kill her.

Currently Rowena lives in a greenhouse away from them and is visited regularly by Artemis. She still has episodes of paranoia and anxiety attacks but at least she knows that as long as she keeps her mouth shut she and Artemis will be safe.

She still loves gardening, botany and usually sells medicinal herbs. She only feeds on animal blood and from time to time she usually drinks human blood that Artemis brings her.
