anyway no page last week as i took a week off because i made it 6 years of comic making (and totally not because i got distracted and couldnt finish on time....)

made it for this time though, despite a tooth extraction and while this doesnt have anything to do with comics the other day after said tooth extraction i found a trans pride sticker on the bus stop (never seen this bus stop before since its out of my way normally) but it also had jerma t posing on it?? which is neat but at the time i was like ??!?? because i was shaking from adrenaline, mouth full of bloody gauze, and a bag of my teeth on hand.

It's so interesting to react to being referred to by a screen-name.

#crystal visions of lilies in the valley #I've never used this (different) username before and someone called me by the first half of it and I was like '...that me?'#and then my brain going *Jake Ryan voice* 'yeah that me'#it's kind of interesting being anonymous and using a new username because on one hand I want to add my real name so #people actually know how to refer to me but on the other...hm! it's just interesting. IDK.#it's especially interesting for me who can't really fathom being referred to any other way but by my name or some variation of it #(as in a username) and since my name is so short it's not like anyone can even really make nicknames out of it. LOL so #I guess when someone's used a longer and not real name for me based on a screen-name I'm like 'oh...so that's what it's like' I guess???#I guess the concept of nicknames (let alone screen-names) for me is just funny because most people expect nicknames to be shortened #versions of a longer/full name but you CAN'T do that with my 1st name which is only 4 letters so all nicknames for me are actually #longer and more ridiculous. LOL so it's just kinda interesting! if any of that makes any sense at all!

James’ touch is featherlight, ghosting over the spot where you’d smacked your head on the stairs. “Here?”

“Mhm.”

He makes a worried humming sound in response. You sit in silence for some time, and it’s not uncomfortable, but nothing is comfortable for you right now. You feel terrible, unlike yourself and unsettled because of that and also weepy but not as much as you are embarrassed. And dwelling upon any of this for too long makes your head spin worse. You don’t think you’re dying though it feels like you might be.

The warm bead rolling down your nose brings you to the realization that you’re crying. James’ coo follows a moment later, and his hand splays protectively atop your head.

“You’re okay, sweetheart. Do you feel alright to sit up?”

“Okay,” you mumble.

He does the work for you, though it’s hard to keep track of the movements. One second your head is on his lap and the next you’re propped against his chest, one muscled arm supporting your back while James rests his lips against your forehead.

“You’re okay,” he promises. “You’re okay, I’ve got you.”

“I don’t really feel like going to dinner anymore,” you admit, tasting salt as a tear finds its way into your mouth.

“Oh,” James lifts his lips to look you in the eyes, “honey, I didn’t expect you to. I’m going to call Remus and cancel in a minute, okay?” He brushes a lock of hair away from your face with his pinkie finger, stroking a sweet line down your cheek. “If you go anywhere, it should probably be to the doctor.”

“No.” You close your eyes, too upset to care about the low whine that escapes you. “What’re they gonna do?”

“I don’t know, baby.” James traces the same line again. “They might want to do an MRI or something. I’ve had a concussion before, they’re serious business.”

You sigh, leaning your head on his shoulder. The material of his jumper is soft beneath your cheek. “I can’t think about it right now.”

There’s a brief pause.

“Okay. Okay, we can talk about it tomorrow, if it’s still bad then.”

“I’m sorry.”

“You don’t need to be sorry.” James’ arm wraps around your middle, squeezing lightly in a gentle sort of hug. You think that he’s being very careful with you, which you appreciate. You don’t imagine you could handle much more sensation at the moment. “I know it sucks, angel, and you’re handling it so well. We’re gonna do our best to get you feeling better. I love you so much, you know?”

You feel like you might cry again. You don’t think you have the energy to stop yourself. “I know,” you tell him. “I love you so much, too.”

“Heaps and heaps.” He gives you another little squeeze, his ability to repress his affection tenuous at best. “Probably the most anyone has ever loved anyone, if we’re being honest.”

“James.”

“Yeah?”

“I can’t do that kind of math right now. I love you a lot, okay?”

“Okay. Same here.”

One night, mid-mugging, he sees you through the window of the coffee shop where he first bought you cake--but you're there with the man he thought you were going to break up with. He decides stealing girlfriends (or, rather, you) is now included in his job description. Mugging, Minho still has a gun, asshole bf (still), evidence of past successful muggings, fake boyfriend.

What you're not used to, however, is being picked on by other demons who want to know why Jisung's spending so much time with you. Dorky demon Jisung, threatening vibes from the other demons, trickery and tormenting, dancing.

Lee Felix

Part 2/3 (All Ye Who Enter Here) - ghost!Felix is one of the many souls trapped in your haunted house, much like yourself. You've just found out that you're capable of shouldering the responsibility of helping your victims find new life after death, unlike the way your mother allowed hers to fade. NOTE: when I posted All Ye Who Enter Here on AO3 (username the_winter_eden), I posted both pt-I and pt-II as a single 5k part. I know this story was confusing and a lot of people got stuck in the nuance rather than having a more direct storytelling approach. I don't currently have another part planned but I'm open to exploring this further if people want it. It would concern reader's journey in atonement for the victims she killed during her life and possibly turning Blacktree House into kind of a "found family" situation (it's crack!horror it can be wildly unrealistic lol) Just let me know! And let me know if there's something specific you would want to see in an additional part.

Sequels for the remaining members will be added once original posts are complete.
