#textboxes#deltarune#susie deltarune#lancer deltarune#kris dreemurr#ralsei#my art#long post#hi welcome to my secret notes about this textbox adventure!#my developer's commemtary if you will.#i originally drew susiezilla in her light world color palette. but i changed it afterwards because i realized she likes herself better in#the dark world than in the light world. if she were to draw an idealized version of herself it'd be based on her dark world form.#if you pay attention to kris' drawing you'll see that they tried to give it big angel wings. but it's kind of hard to do that when you can'#control yourself.#i named Urisk that to complete the . uhm. quadfecta?#Frisk Urisk Chara Kris. or FUCK for short.#i was going to give urisk angel features because they're so Good. but i realized ralsei probably considers devils to be good rather than#angels. since he exists to banish the angel's heaven and all the heroes have strong devil motifs surrounding them.#i still gave them a halo though bc i still wanted them to seem Good.#i feel like the pacing on this one could have used some improvement#but overall i'm just happy i got it done! i'm very proud of it :]#that's the thing about these textboxes. it's really hard to go back and change previous textboxes#you've just gotta keep on chuggin forward until you reach the end! no looking back!#anyway i hope you enjoyed this one! :3#oh also. i put kris on the opposite side of everyone else to symbolize their isolation from everyone else bc of the soul#okay actually i have more to say. so susie's drawing looks like something hou could actually draw on a paper#meanwhile ralsei's was based on the drawing on his unused manual. which has pure black outlines and perfectly filled colors like it was mad#in ms paint. also i was originally going to include noelle and berdly in this too#berdly's OC was going go be Super Lord Berdly; Mayor of Smartopia#and noelle's OC was going to be really beautiful but really tragic

an attempt to use a different kind of color pallete than im use to
#the art of a lemon wedge#the urge to vibrate those colors is SO strong you dont even KNOW#i used rubens as a refrence cause i thought a nice 1500s pallete might suit them#and it is very interesting using a very limited color set#even MORe greys#and its very cool to see how they go together#idk how this will look like in the end#do i want to attempt baroque rendering#or stick to my usual#too easy it would be to tighten up and im not particularly interested in that#hmmm

#im gonna do the interior tmrw but im pretty happy with how these turned out#i used the volvo laplander as reference for the front and the rest is based on a honda mini pickup truck#the bars around the chassis was an afterthought.. partly bc i thought it would look cool and partly because i thought#it would be good to add something to keep the trailer attachment in place.. i think theyre used more for offroad vehicles though idk#the folding screen is also partly to block out the view of sleights room and its painted with stars to act as a backdrop#idk if the stage is strong enough to support her weight with just thick wires keeping it suspended so.. maybe smth like#a table or chair gets wedged underneath to support it from the bottom too. i just couldnt fit it on there#myart#my art#my oc#oc#sleight#concept art#doodles#vehicles#sketches#wip#idk if im gonna color this i think ill just leave it like this

#Frisk is 17 and Ree and Chara 21#had to check my references bc for the like of my i cant never remember their ages#I think my favorite outfit is frisks!#is the more simple of the three#but i had fun using the magenta. Another short fan comic I made for @uncontrol-freak’s dh fic, Abyssal. This one’s for chapter 16! I was given a few chapters to choose from when I said I wanted to draw more for the fic, and I couldn’t pass up a dramatic Void scene :)

#FIRST POST OF THE NEW YEAR STARTING OFF STRONG#fun facts: the sketch took 8 hours / lining 3 hours and 45 minutes / coloring 6 hours and 30 minutes#this is definitely the longest I’ve ever spent on a piece in this style and the first time I've done an ensemble piece... ever?#just the sheer number of people I had to draw is part of why it took soooo long#that and my lining brush is uneven so I have to manually color everything in rather than using the paint bucket#people who draw ensemble pieces: I salute you#wash’s hair is lighter blonde because he fries it / donut's hair is slightly darker because he doesn't want to damage it#i have never drawn so many clothes in my life!!! good practice though#my caboose design is once again based off of amviall’s because it’s my favorite#I am getting mildly better at drawing an approximation of armor.
