I knew to expect SOME sort of god with all the mention of how "A GOD IS COMING" I WAS NOT however, EXPECTING A GOD FROM ANCIENT EGYPTIAN MYTHOLOGY!!!!!!!

While I'm only a recent Whovian, I have played Assassin's Creed Origins enough times to know a metric ASS TON about a few of the Egyptian gods...and I just finished a fanfic involving said game, so Ancient Egypt has been on my mind for about the last...IDK, 48-72 hours!

But DEAR GOD ALMIGHTY that was an intense episode...BUT REALLY WRITERS??? YOU DROP THAT BOMBSHELL OF A REVEAL ONLY TO END THE SEASON RIGHT THERE!?!?!? Was there some sort of recent trend of people channeling Tetsuya Nomura's power of trolling that I didn't know about because THERE HAVE BEEN MORE TROLLS IN POP CULTURE IN THE PAST MONTH THAT USUAL!!!

First, Geoff Keighley trolls the Kingdom Hearts fans at Summer Games Fest last week, AND NOW THIS!?!?!? WHY!?!?!? ALSO JUST FOUND OUT WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR TO FIND OUT WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING TO HAPPEN NOW!!!!!!!!!! FUCK EVERYONE CHANNELING NOMURA'S POWERS OF TROLLING!!!!!!!

...that being said, this was a good episode and I look forward to moar adventures with the Fifteenth Doctor x3

I feel like I remember reading that Gaius was either Merlin’s uncle or great uncle or something.
