It's not like they parted on good terms. In Shibuya, Geto was leaving Gojo behind, and the latter was considering killing him.
They spent a decade apart after that. By comparison, shouldn't a measly three years have meant nothing? They were now the strongest sorcerer and the worst curse user. By all rights, they should have been bitter enemies. And yet they weren't.
When Geto went to Tokyo Jujutsu High to declare war and the two of them reunited for ostensibly the first time in a decade, they still called each other by their first names.
Gojo bothered to ask for Geto's last words, and the other man made sure to say that he had never hated anyone from Tokyo Jujutsu High. And Gojo said that he had faith that Geto wouldn't kill promising young sorcerers, surprising the latter man. They'd been at odds longer than they'd been partners, but they treated each other tenderly at the end of it all.
lol maybe a not great way to phrase this but a lot of trans men are NOT emotionally prepared to be "treated like men" outside their insular transmasc fagdyke friend groups and fly off the handle fucking immediately the first time they are unfairly mistrusted for being a dude (shitty and im not saying this should be the case but did you not fucking comprehend why people act this way toward men and come to expect this?) or ghosted/rejected by a trans woman bc she prefers dating other trans women, or maybe simply someone else (we have all fumbled people, there is no need to become generally vindictive toward women about it bc they aren't attracted to you...)
Jason's been pestering Danny about why he looks like a borderline walking corpse for ages and Danny has decided to put his lying skills to the test. (he has none)
rambling below cut
I've been playing w the idea that the more Danny transforms, the more his ghost form gets "lively" while his human form gets weaker and more sickly. He knows that if he keeps transforming like this then, one day, he's not going to have a livable body to go back to, but he really doesn't want to think about all that. He's more interested in the weird "totally dead but not dead" Wayne son who may or may not have a thing for his sister.
everytime i do one these im like "this time I'll keep it simple so I don't have to suffer through colouring bc I have zero foresight—it'll be greyscale at most" and then all of the sudden its 4am and i'm trying to finish a stupid comic but i decided to add "some" colour to spice it up and hide my shitty ink job and then SOME COLOUR ALWAYS BECOMES FULL COLOUR WHY CAN I NOT ESCAPE THIS STUPID CYCLE!!
(did this all stem from me not being able to decide between a super pale character design and one w a vibrant tan bc I love white hair + tan but I also love extremely pale albino so I forced myself to find a way to make both work? never! that's absurd!)
There’s something horrifyingly beautiful about Tess’s final moments. In the midst of the most dire chaos, as she waits for her death to come rushing past so she can blow it sky high and give cordyceps a big fuck you one last time, one of the infected stops. It looks at her, really looks. Her own mortality is personified in this infected. It’s death that’s looking at her, and it sees her. She looks her own death in the eye, and the suspense is so high as it approaches. But then, it doesn’t bite her throat out like we all expect it to.
It kisses her. What’s more, it kisses her gently. And I think it was a brilliant choice on the writers part, because it reminded me that the infected aren’t supposed to be evil. Sure, they’re scary as hell, but really, they’re just trying to survive. They’re connected to one another, they can feel each other from miles away. They seek out and want to be close to their own kind, just like the human survivors do. And when they do find each other, they kiss hello.
And after so long apart from a loved one, someone you know and trust with every instinct in your body, wouldn’t you want to kiss them too?
“Ordinary people and geniuses would be separated by various practical realities, and they did not have to force themselves to fit into a group they did not belong to.”
it's been awhile since I've worked on this project! I've had this verse finished for months but didn't want to post it on its own, and instead wait until the whole thing is strung together to show the final result all at once. But I'm tired of holding onto it, so here is one section of my deltarune animation! My art tag has other clips if anyone is interested in seeing more~
