finally reading harold kushner’s to life!. not a huge fan of this guys rhetorical style, but pushing through bc some of the things he’s saying are promising

#odhran.txt #if nothing else it’s an additional perspective #the things he says abt like. judaism isn’t about what we owe to god but rather what we owe each other #that’s excellent.#he’s just. almost cock-sure? like he’s really. empirical in a way i haven’t rly encountered in other jewish writing. idk #this book came out in ‘93 and it reads like it. but i’m gonna keep going i know there’s more to be gained here #judaism
