Satoru Gojo x reader, Megumi Fushiguro x reader(platonic),
Summary- “Fushiguro, you didn’t tell me your mom is a total milf.”
Warnings- Yuji being a teenage boy Megumi is a mommas boy
Wc- 900+
-
Ever since Yuji heard the man he would come to know as Satoru Gojo said the words to Fushiguro at the school.
“I got an earful from the higher-ups ‘cause the special grade cursed object’s still missing, then your mother found out and I got an earful from her.”
Then when he was tied up Gojo kept mentioning his wife and how she helped him suspend his execution for the time being.
Yuji was even more interested in this woman who was Fushiguros mom and Satoru Gojo’s wife. I mean that would mean Fushiguro is Gojo’s son but he looks nothing like Gojo(besides maybe the hairstyle) and he doesn’t call him Dad. Hmm, maybe he looked more like his mom?
He walked onto the school grounds with Satoru next to him. Sukuna made an appearance on his cheek then his hand. But as Satoru explained Sukuna, Yuji’s eyes landed on a woman at the top of the stairs. She was talking on the phone and staring at her nails. She wore dark expensive-looking sunglasses, a pair of jeans, sandals, and a tank top. He could also tell she was foreign.
“WIFEY!” Satoru yelled out beside him and ran towards the woman. The woman hung up her phone and opened her arms out for Satoru. He spun her around in the air and then smashed their lips together. He placed her on the ground and she pushed against his chest gently to pull away. “What are you doing here? I thought you weren’t going to be back for another day.”
She scoffed and crossed her arms and Yuji watched the sorcerer in front of her pout.
“My son got sent on a mission to retrieve the finger of Ryomen Sukuna and got badly hurt in the process. Of course, I had to come.”
So this is his mom. She looks nothing like him either but I gotta say, she is one hot piece-
“So this is Sukunas vessel?” They had turned their attention to him and Yuji was staring directly at Gojo’s wife.
“Before we start talking, Yuji, this is my wife Y/n L/n. She's a special-grade sorcerer just like me!”
Whatever that means, nobody’s explained this grading stuff to me yet
“Yuji Itadori. A pleasure to meet you.” She gave him a bow and he did the same back. “How do you feel?” Her face softened and she took two steps down to inspect him.
“Um fine, I guess, considering everything.”
“Good, good. And you can control Sukuna at will?”
“Mhmm.”
She’s so hot
“I'm flattered Itadori.” She says with amusement and the boy looks at her horrified.
“Huh!?” He blushed heavily and shook his head. “I'm so sorry! Wait, how did you know that!?”
“Oh yeah, Y/n’s technique is telepathy. So my girl can read your mind, control your mind, mess with your mind, and destroy it.” He said and kissed her cheek.
“Cool! Sorry about that though.” He scratched the back of his head and laughed awkwardly.
“It's okay, Itadori.” Yuji’s blush hadn’t gone away and just burnt harder. “Well I'm going to go check on Megumi, I’ll see you two later.” Both guys watched her go.
“Whoah,” Yuji says and Satoru nods.
“I know right.”
-
“Megumi?” You knocked on his door and received no answer. You opened the door and saw him curled up in deep sleep. You smiled softly and approached his bed. You leaned over him and kissed his cheek, making him twitch but he relaxed. You sat in the chair in the corner and brought your feet up.
Megumi slept for another solid 10 minutes before waking up. You set your phone down and smiled.
“Hey Gumi, how are you feeling?” You sat on the edge of his bed and rubbed his shoulder.
“Mom, what are you doing here?” He asks, sounding extremely tired.
“I had to come check on you.”
“Mmph.” He sat up and groaned.
“You should keep resting.”
“My head hurts.”
“All the more reason to.”
The loud voices of Yuji and Satoru cut you off. Megumi's face hardened and he threw the sheets off his body. He opened the door and at the same time, Yuji and Satoru walked out of Yuji's new room.
“You’re next door?”
“Hey, Fushiguro!” You slipped past Megumi and walked to stand by Satoru. Wow. You look all better now!”
“There are lots of other rooms, you know?” Megumi says with a scowl.
“Don’t be like that Gumi’, this can be good for you.” You say trying to convince him but he crosses his arms. Yuji walked up to Megumi and leaned towards him.
“Fushiguro, you didn’t tell me your mom is a total milf.” Yuji whispers to him. Megumi's eyes widened and left eye twitched.
“Huh!? Wh-Why would you say something like that!” Megumi whacked Yuji on the back.
“Ow! I mean it's true, and that ass though. She could put Jennifer Lawernce to shame.”
“STOP IT!”
“Boys, everything okay?”
“Yes, Mrs. Gojo!” Itadori says with a bright smile. While Megumi looked like he was going to blow a fuse. You look at them in confusion but turn back to Satoru.
“That's my mom Itadori.”
“Hey, Mrs. Gojo. Are you a teacher here?” Yuji asks you and you shake your head.
“No, but I'll be sticking around.”
“Great!” Yuji thumbs up’s you.
“Hmph.” Megumi grunts and glares.
Sorry J Law but my type is Fushiguros mom now

A Not-So-Disastrous Romance (Book 1) Prologue
Kusuo Saiki x Reader
Prologue: Troublesome "Friends"
Summary: Saiki gives everyone the rundown on his "bothers," including (L/N) (Y/N).
Mouse Note: Welcome to A Not-So-Disastrous Romance! I am very excited to share this story with everyone, even if this fandom is very old. Truth be told, I wrote 11 chapters like three years ago, so the first few chapters don't have the level of writing I have now, but I ended up finishing this story and wanted to share it. For another point, I know that people view Saiki as asexual and sometimes aromantic, but I feel an affinity for him being asexual but demi-romantic, so I play it slow-burn. That being said, terrible beginning writing aside, I really hope everyone enjoys. Let me know what you think, commenting helps me keep writing, and I love interacting with people! Welcome to the story!
Quick Key: "Hello" -Saiki speaking telepathically Hello -Saiki thinking "Hello" -regular people talking out loud Hello -regular people thinking
Saiki teleported to the roof to avoid Teruhashi and Nendou. One was troublesome enough. Two was insupportable.
“Where’s Saiki? Huh? What’s going?” wondered Teruhashi, confused.
I teleported without thinking. Saiki looked down at the crowd below him. People around me didn’t seem to notice me, but naturally, Teruhashi thinks something is strange. Well, Teruhashi, just think I was an illusion and forget about it.
“Nendou!” remarked the pretty blue-haired girl upon seeing him.
“Oh, wow, Teruhashi!” squeaked Nendou, blushing.
“Have you seen Saiki?” asked Teruhashi.
“What? My pal? No, I haven’t.” Nendou was too startled to think.
N-no way…did he disappear? thought Teruhashi, Is it possible that I was the one seeing an illusion? She recalled what she had assumed of Saiki: “You’re so much in love with me that you see illusions of me, huh?” A light blush spread across her face. Don’t tell me I’m…No! I can’t be… She clutched her heart. Oh, no…What’re these feelings? Is it possible…that I fell in love…with Saiki?
Oh, wow, thought Saiki as he deadpanned. This is not how he wanted things to go.
He sighed and teleported to a nearby, empty alleyway. Sighing, he decided to go for a coffee jelly. With the new problem he had just acquired, Saiki decided he might as well enjoy a little bit of peace. He walked quickly in the opposite direction of Nendou and Teruhashi, even if it took him on a long route to Café Mami. For once in his life, he was lucky and didn’t bump into anyone on the way there. His luck ran out, however, as soon as he entered.
“Saiki!” called a teenager with (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes. They were grinning and waving.
He couldn’t avoid them now; it would draw attention to him for being rude. He sighed and sat down across from them.
This is (Y/N) (L/N). They’re another troublesome person who complicates my life. They even call me their friend and insist I use their first name. The worst part is I can’t read their mind. They aren’t dumb like Nendou, though. Do you see those earrings?
(Y/N) had simple, metallic studs in their ears.
They’re made of germanium, which apparently keeps me from seeing through them with my X-ray vision or hearing their thoughts with my telepathy.
He had only realized this after he saw them during school and on the weekends and the only thing that was the same between the outfits was their earrings. Saiki wished he could get his hands on some germanium. Hearing everybody’s thoughts was tiring. That being said, (Y/N) being unreadable was…disconcerting.
“Nice to see you, Saiki. Are you here for your usual coffee jelly?” asked (Y/N) cheerfully.
The pink-haired psychic nodded. Yare yare…Why do I hang out with you?
“Oh!” They brightened. “I guess since you’re kind of like my guest right now, I should treat you!”
Saiki’s eyes widened in excitement. Ah, I remember now. (Y/N) treated him to, well, treats. That made them more tolerable than other people.
Seeing his expression, (Y/N) laughed. They knew what he was excited for. “You’re more excited to see the coffee jelly than to see your friend.” They didn’t mind, though. They knew Saiki wasn’t one for being open or friendly, but they’d spent enough time with him to know he’d just leave if he really didn’t like him.
He wanted to say that they weren’t friends, but even he had to admit, he thought they were pretty tolerable compared to most of the people who crowded around him. Sure, their bright optimism was sometimes exhausting to Saiki, but for the most part, they were pretty low-maintenance and understood he was an extreme introvert and liked time to himself. Plus, although they were energetic at times, but they understood when things were too much for Saiki. And, to be completely honest, he didn’t mind getting to be around someone he couldn’t hear the thoughts of. He could act like a relatively normal person.
Saiki would never say all that, though. No way. No, the only thing he’d say was, “Coffee jelly is really good.”
“Can’t argue with that,” admitted (Y/N).
Their server, who coincidentally was Mera (probably trying to make money as usual), approached their table. She took their orders and headed to the kitchen to alert the chefs.
“You look more annoyed than usual, what happened?” asked (Y/N).
Saiki sighed. They unfortunately pay attention to me and can read parts of my emotions. It’s weird. Maybe they’re an empath. “I ran into Teruhashi.”
(Y/N) laughed. “The only guy immune to her charms.”
“She brings too much attention.”
“You’re friends with Nendou and Kaidou. A bit of attention is inevitable,” teased (Y/N), leaning on their hand and grinning.
“They’re not my friends.”
“Uhuh, sure, whatever helps you sleep at night,” chirped (Y/N).
Mera brought their orders. Luckily, she hadn’t stolen a bite from either of the coffee jellies.
“Mmmm,” hummed (Y/N) and Saiki contentedly at the taste.
Peaceful relaxation with (Y/N). Just the way I like it. Saiki sighed happily.

ivy, l. howlett (3)
you and Scott go after Rogue and Wolverine... but when you return, a familiar face shows up on your doorstep.
CW: canon typical violence, gore, guns, mutation, profanity, innuendos, mature themes, mentions of sex, y/n is very poison ivy-esque, jean grey exists but is not present, etc.
"You look around. I'll check the ticket agent," you told Scott, heading toward the booth.
He gave you a stiff nod, quietly glancing around for any sign of Magneto's disciples.
It didn't come as a surprise when Rogue ran away the next day—and it came as an even less of one when Logan went off after her, despite the professor's instructions.
So you and Scott set off to Grand Central Station in search of the two before they could be taken hostage.
Of course, Scott was less than happy to be there.
Just another mess of Logan's for him to clean up...
'Big baby...'
You were quick to explain the situation once you finally made it to the front of the line.
"I'm sorry to bother you, sir, but I need to know if you've seen a young girl pass through here?" you asked, sincerely.
You just wanted Rogue to be safe.
Scott could get pissy about Logan stealing his bike or going against direction, but at the end of the day she was the priority.
And you weren't going to stop until you found her.
Lord knows you were just like her about ten years ago.
"She's about seventeen. Uh, my height. Has brown hair, and she—"
A loud growl suddenly rumbled from behind, and you turned around, only to be grabbed by the neck and hoisted up by a huge, hairy, blonde man whose nails needed serious trimming.
"Sabretooth... I take it?" you rasped, your hands coming up to grab at his in an attempt to pull him off.
But he let out a roar, roughly pulling you closer, his hot breath fanning over your face.
"Scream for me," he snarled.
Looking past him, you saw Scott storming over, about to help, when a yellow skinned man hanging off the ceiling suddenly stuck out his long tongue, whipping Scott's glasses of his face and forcing him to burn a gigantic hole into the roof.
Using the seeds in your pocket, you shot out a gigantic stalk of bamboo, ramming him through a wall and into the next room, sending rubble flying everywhere.
Dropping to the ground, you let out a gasp of relief, clutching your throat.
'This is day two... I get choked again... someone's dying.'
"You said he wanted me," Logan glared, aggressively grabbing his jacket.
"I made a terrible mistake," Xavier admitted, thoroughly disappointed in himself. "His helmet was somehow designed to block my telepathy. I couldn't see what he was after until it was too late."
Face taut, Logan stormed toward the exit of his room, shoving his arm through the sleeve.
"Where are you going?" you asked, brows furrowed.
"I'm gonna find her."
"How?" Xavier turned to him.
"The traditional way: look," he spat, striding out the the door.
Quickly, you turned to the professor, and he gave you a nod of approval, already aware of your question.
Though, if you were being honest, you would've done it anyway.
"Logan," you called, following him out the hall and down the steps. "You can't do this alone."
"Who's gonna help me? You?" he scoffed, eyes focused ahead as he started toward the exit. "So far you've all done a bang-up job."
"Then help us. Fight with us," you pressed on, closing in on him.
Suddenly, he stopped, turning around so fast you nearly crashed into his chest.
"Fight with you?" he growled, voice low and face only a few inches from yours. "What, join the team? Be an X-man?"
You stood firm despite his mockery, eyes searching his for what he truly felt.
Yet all you found was pain, guilt, and self-loathing.
He blamed himself for Rogue's kidnapping, and was lashing out from a place of hurt.
So you wouldn't take it personal.
"Who the hell do you think you are? You're a mutant. The whole world out there is full of people that hate and fear you. And you're wasting your time tryna protect them," he shook his head. "I got better things to do."
He walked off again, but suddenly stopped, turning to face you once more.
"Y'know, Magneto's right. There's a war coming," he stated. "Are you sure you're on the right side?"
"At least I've chosen a side."
The words slightly stung, and he gave you a look as he opened the door, only to be met by Senator Kelly.
The driving force of the Mutant Registration Program.
Only now he looked like shit, sweaty and clammy and out of breath.
"I'm looking... for Dr. (y/n) (l/n)," he panted, weakly.
Suddenly, his legs gave out, and he fell forward into Logan's arms, unconscious.
"Bring him to my lab. Quick," you ordered, turning around and heading for the lower levels.
'Never a dull moment...'
"Senator Kelly," Xavier started, leaning a little closer, "I'm Professor Charles Xavier."
The senator was laying on your operating table, hooked up to several machines in order to keep his condition stable.
Though it was truly anything but that.
"I was afraid if I went to a hospital, they would—" "Treat you like a mutant?"
The professor shook his head, reassuringly.
"We're not all what you think... not all of us."
"Tell it to the ones who did this to me."
Xavier sighed, wheeling his chair around to the tip of the table, where Kelly's head rested.
"Senator," the professor rested his hands against the man's temples. "I want you to relax. I'm not going to hurt you."
He took a moment, sifting through Kelly's memories to find out exactly what happened.
And when he did, it was evident on Charles's face that it did not bode well.
Quickly, he turned around, Logan following him down the hall where Scott and Ororo waited, while you stayed with the senator.
In the meeting...
"The machine emits radiation that triggers mutation in ordinary human beings," he started, the news thoroughly worrying him. "But the mutation is unnatural. (y/n)'s already deduced Kelly's body is rejecting it. His cells show signs of significant degeneration."
"What effect does radiation have on mutants?" Scott asked, turning to the professor.
"There appears to be none. But I fear it will seriously harm any normal person exposed to it," he answered.
"So what does Magneto want with Rogue?" Logan chimed from his spot against the wall.
Xavier hung his head, "I don't know."
That was all he needed to hear.
Logan didn't give a shit about some senator—Kelly made it abundantly clear he didn't give a shit about mutants—so he wasn't gonna sit around and play doctor for him.
One less human to worry about.
"Wait a second," Scott realized. "You said this machine draws energy from Magneto, and that it weakened him."
"Yes," the professor confirmed, slowly beginning to realize. "In fact, it nearly killed him."
Wait a minute...
'Oh, shit.'
"He's gonna transfer his power to Rogue, and use her to power the machine."
In the lab...
"Is somebody there?" Senator Kelly rasped, his hand weakly reaching out toward the darkness.
"Yes," you answered, quickly heading over. "I'm here."
The moment you arrived at his bedside, his cold, clammy hand grabbed your arm, frantically.
"Please don't leave me," he heaved, pleadingly. "Don't wanna be alone."
You looked down at him, eyes saddened by his sorry state.
His veins were dark and bulging painfully against his skin, and he was covered in an ungodly amount of sweat.
Or, at least, what you thought to be sweat.
Though you were quickly starting to realize that he was liquefying right before your eyes.
"All right," you nodded, softly.
Water was leaving him at a steady trickle, and you knew he had only a few minutes, if not moments, left to live.
"Do you hate normal people?" he suddenly asked, voice distant.
And for a man on his deathbed, you answered honestly.
"Sometimes..."
"Why?"
Now that took a little more thought.
"I guess... I'm afraid of them."
He smiled, reassuringly, "Well... I think you have one... less person to be afraid of."
And before you could respond, he gasped, suddenly choking on his own throat as it began to turn into water.
Your eyes shot wide, and you looked down at his hand, only to liquidize right in your grasp, splashing water everywhere.
Snapping your head back to him, you watched as the rest of his organs and bodily fluids devolved into water, until it all finally burst, leaving nothing of him to remain.
'Professor! Now!'
Quickly, you turned around, sprinting out the door and down the hall toward where they were having their meeting.
Once you made it to the door, you barged in, interrupting a Logan-Scott argument.
"Senator Kelly is dead," you stated, seriously.
"I am going to find her," Xavier turned to the rest of you, face taut.
All bets were off now—there was no holding back.
"Let's settle this."

SCIENCE VS MAGIC
ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ Donnie disapproves your magical abilities. Sort of enemies to lovers trope, lots of bickering, reader has telekinetic/telepathic powers (origin will be explained throughout the fic), fluff, angst, this fic is kinda long (didnt proof read I got lazy). Reader is fem!!
ᯓ★
To think that all of this started from a normal dumpster that you ended up crashing into after falling out of the sky was like a cliché opening to a movie. Even from the height of the fall, due to your superhuman abilities, you managed to survive but however you endured some severe injuries that left you unconscious.
The crash was loud enough to catch the attention of the four mutant brothers just a few blocks away. Once they made it to the scene, it was like a scene from E.T. They were actually convinced they just witnessed the crash of a spaceship, but there was no spaceship of any kind, just a girl inside a dumpster bin.
"Did she just fall out of the sky?" The eldest asked out of concern.
"Ooooh, do you think she's an alien?" The brother in the blue nudges his brother with a playful smirk.
"According to the visual evidence before me... no, she is NOT an alien Leo"
"Awwww c'mon, maybe aliens also look... humanly!"
"Then does that mean we're aliens?"
"Alright, enough chit-chatting. All this alien talk is making my brain itch. Let's bring her somewhere safe" The eldest suggested which the rest easily went along with.
Just like that you were brought into their lair, you were instantly taken into Donnie's lab to have your wounds treated. Since the brothers trusted him, they left to let him do his work. With his goggles on, he carefully applied medicine on some of your wounds with the help of his tweezers. It was when you hissed that it made his body jump.
"A bit gentle will you?" You asked and he stares at you for a while.... before skedaddling to his monitor to check on your current health status.
From how fast he ran you almost thought you scared him. Just then it came to the realisation that you weren't in your home realm, you were in a completely different place. You could tell because you couldn't detect anyone of your kind with your telepathy. You watched as the... turtle? A walking turtle? Wait turtles walk. A humanoid turtle? Man what realm is this...?
"You're in stable condition even though you fell from about 100 kilometres from the sky. How is that even possible?" He stroked his chin as he taps on the side of his face while trying to make sense of all of this.
"Well... I drank some milk before I ran away. Maybe it made my bones stronger"
"That is absurd. Milk does not make your bones stronger! That supposition is unjustified and irrational. I refuse to hear any of it" He said, or more of the word, yapped. He then took off his goggles and put it aside to continue typing whatever it is on his keyboard.
"Okay, sorry... but I need to get going" You got up but the pain from your injuries made you stutter in your movements, you hiss from the pain.
"That won't be possible. You will need time and energy to heal due to your condition. Besides, what can be more important?" He said, forcing you to lay back down on the operating table.
"Well... would you believe me if I told you I'm a being with superhuman abilities who also happen to be on the run from some space cops because I was accused of breaking realities by travelling in between too much?" You asked. Your question having him bat his eyes at you a few times. Suddenly he starts to examine you with his eyes sparked with intrigue but it was for the wrong reason.
"Ah, hallucination, one of the most common causes of brain damage. How could I have failed to notice this? Could you stare into this light? How many fingers am I holding up?" He continued on trying to examine you but you just stare at him in disbelief.
Of course he thinks you're crazy.
Guess there's only one way to prove yourself.
"Now if you'd just—" The second he sees all of his things floating from the table was when he finally shut his mouth close, his eyes wide from shock as he began to freak out on what to do in this situation.
"I'm not hallucinating and neither are you... this is all magic" You simply said before putting all his things back to it's rightful spots.
He stands there, his eyes not blinking even once as he seems to be having a very hard time digesting your words. Magic?
M.A.G.I.C.?
His left eye twitched which made you wonder if you had just struck a nerve.
"Magic. Does not exist...!" He said, grabbing what seems to be his tool. A staff?
"Magic roughly translates to the art of manipulating natural forces. Annnnnd that's exactly what science does. Magic is just a thing people make up to downplay the works of scientific discovery because SOME people happen to not appreciate the gift of wisdom but rather on fantasy. It's quite self-centered if so to speak" He crossed his arms with a faint smug. Did he just look at you when he highlighted the word some?
"That sucks... but you can't deny that what I have is magic" You said, using your telekinesis to grab a bag of candy from the shelf.
"DONT TOUCH MY STUFF!!"
"I'm not touching!! Look!" You held up both your hands in the air as you used your power to feed yourself the candy roll. He glares at you as he snatches the bag of candy from the air.
"That's it! If you will be staying at MY lair living in MY lab, you will be living under MY rules missy!"
"Missy?!"
"Yes you heard me louuuud and clear!" He said. Ah some part of you is telling you this is gonna be a complicated stay compared to the rest you've had.
For the next few days, you were able to properly get to know the people who have saved you. They introduced themselves as brothers. The one who seemingly always checked up on you was named Raph whilst the other two brothers who are always hanging out with you were Leo and Mikey. That leaves the brother who was... well... constantly eyeing you being Donnie.
The reason why you'd phrase it like that was because every time you found yourself simply resting or spending time with his brothers, you could always catch him spying on you. Most of the time he'd just be peaking from behind objects or if he's feeling brave, he'll straight up choose to stand on the other side of the room with his eyes locked on you like a hawk.
If the staring wasn't weird enough, he would also ask you multiple questions that he seem to have written down in his notebook. He would have the end of his pen pressed against his chin as he asks his questions.
"Well, with your gifted talents, are you able to read minds?" He asked, seated on the ground as he faces you.
"Yes" You responded with your arms folded.
"Confident, but that doesn't mean you're correct. In order to comfirm that theory, we must carry out a test. Now, what number am I thinking?"
"7"
He'd stay silent, his brows slightly narrowed as he slowly nods to himself.
"Interesting... buuuuut 7 is the most common number people would think of in this scenario... it could just be a lucky guess" He said, brushing off your showcase just now while he jot down on his notebook.
You tried your hardest not to roll your eyes once you heard his response. Why does he even bother asking these questions if he doesn't like the answers you give him? Something tells you he's probably just messing with you.
"Alright, next question, are you able to carry out mind control?"
Multiple times, you've told yourself to be patient but as days go by, his behaviour was really driving you insane... to be fair you've also been driving him insane by sharing his room. He seems crazy obsessed with privacy. Which you get. But he's on a whole different level.
"Seriously?" You'd stand in front of his invention. You have no knowledge of what it's even made out of but you were sure it was programmed to keep you out of his side of the room. See it as a semi-transparent wall that he can activate and deactivate.
"I'm not gonna touch your things. You act like I'm some kind of criminal"
"Which YOU AREE!! Your story of being wanted by these space cops easily proves that point. I will NOT risk my tech to be stolen by a space criminal!!" He'd say, pointing at you before crossing his arms with his body facing the other away.
"..... no hard feelings" He'd add in the end.
Riggggght. No hard feelings.
"Well then, I guess I'll just go and have a goodnight sleep" You'd turn on your heels but after taking just a few steps, you'd stop in your tracks. Your back still facing him.
"Oh and by the way, the name space criminal sounds pretty cool. Don't you think?" You'd ask as you show him the remote he needs to deactivate the wall he has set up. The second he sees he has lost it, he began to panic and check for ways out.
"Nononono...! But how?!" He'd question since he was sure it was on him the entire time you've talked.
"A criminal never reveals her tricks" You'd grin as you happily hopped away. The sound of him slamming on the wall making the satisfaction in you grow.
"NO!! DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE!! COME BACK!! HEY!!"
Despite you slowly getting use to his behaviour, you still wonder why he has this much dislike towards you. You wouldn't say it's hate since he's still generous enough to let you stay in his room. But who knows? What if he did actually hate you? You laid down on the skateboard ramp as you stared up at the ceiling.
Your peace soon interrupted once you sensed the familiar presence of someone approaching you. You tried to ignore him when he suddenly sat down beside you. It was awkward silence for a moment.
"... what are you doing?"
"Resting"
"Resting? Does your abilities cause you to grow tired quickly?" He'd ask, whipping out his notebook from out of nowhere.
"Is it like a video game where you have an energy bar for each time you use it? Does it happen to also drain your life force? Do you age faster?" His questions were being asked quicker than you could answer. It was really annoying you like he was a fly that wouldn't leave you alone.
"Do you happen to burn calori—"
"Shhhh" The sound of you shushing him mid sentence made his eyes go wide. It was like he wasn't sure what had just happened.
"Excuse me I wasn't—"
"Shhhh"
His brows twitched almost out of fury once he realised what game you were playing at.
"I—"
"Shhh"
"Now you—"
"Shhhhhhhhh"
"LISTEN—!"
"SHUUUUUSHHH!" Your words causing him to be so frustrated that he had to turn around and mutter whatever that it is to himself. From a few words you could only pick up being 'Dumb dumb' and 'You're the better person here'. You had to admit watching him lose it was hilarious to watch.
When he turned back around, you quickly stopped yourself from grinning and went back to your poker face. He takes a deep breath before he exhales painfully slow to sooth himself. You're pretty sure he's gone insane.
"It seems there's no use arguing against someone who doesn't listen" He'd speak but you chose not to say anything this time. Your absent of words irritating him bit by bit.
"I see. The common tactic of giving me the cold shoulder in an attempt to make me seem like I'm the idiot, well I hate to disappoint you but i will not easily fall for such trap" He said as he ends up crossing his arms with his chest slightly puffed out. His head facing the other way and his eyes shut from his pettiness.
It's bizarre how you're both the same age but he acts like such a kid compared to you. You sighed.
"Why do you even hate magic so much? Or just me in general. Do you have some sort of grudge?" You questioned and he opened his left eye to look at you, then his right eye. You could see his face relaxing slightly at your question.
"What makes you think I'd tell you?"
Ah what were you thinking... of course he wouldn't tell you...
"... fair point. Have a good day" You got up and ended leaving him there. Your powers helping you sense the disbelief he was experiencing at that moment.
Days passed by and each second that goes, you began to miss the realm you were originally from. Your family, your friends, they must be worried sick about you. Yet you're stuck in this world where you feel caged inside the sewers. There has to be a way to jump back into the realm of your home without triggering the system the space cops have set up.
You'd spend your time drawing out strategies and calculating the possibility of the chances of it succeeding. All of those plans written on plain paper you may or may not have stolen from Donnie's pile but oh well, it's not that you took that many anyways, besides he won't find out since you hide it under your pillow.
After countless tries, you still couldn't find the answer. The security is tight since those space cops are really out to get you. The thought of this being your new life really gives you the shivers. Just as you went in the kitchen to grab a drink, you were then approached by Raph.
"Hey (Y/N), you don't seem to be in good shape" He'd point out the frown on your face which you were quick to drop.
"Oh, that's nothing. Just still adjusting to this world. I haven't really gotten the chance to explore" You said before taking a sip of your drink.
"Well... in that case. How about you join us tonight for patrol?" He'd suggest. The offer so good that obviously you couldn't pass it up.
Which brings you on the rooftop with the four brothers. You had to admit it was nice to finally breath fresh air for once in this realm. The city seems so alive and although the tech isn't as advanced compared to where you're from, it still made the place look so fast paced and pretty. Is that a hotdog stand? You stood at the edge of the rooftop as you admired the streets, failing to notice Donnie who's been glaring at you since you've arrived.
"Alright boys.... and uh... girl. You get the drill!! Let's get this—" Sounds of a scream interrupted his words. All five of you duck to see a woman getting cornered by a gang of thugs in a dark alley.
"Oh no... we gotta help her!"
"Do not worry brother, for I have just the right tool—"
Before he could even finish talking, you have already jump down to the alley with the use of your telekinesis to help you land safely. You threw punches and kicks while simultaneously dodging the attacks thrown at you. Your moves catching the brothers off, each having a reaction of their own.
"Helllll yeahhh!! Save some for me!!" Leo said as he was quick to join you in the fight.
"Wait! Careful!" Raph following close by.
"Man! Who'd knew (Y/N) could fight like that?" Mikey was utterly astonished while Donnie who stands beside him had his teeth gritted out of annoyance.
"Yeaaah... who would have known...." His eyes sharp when examining all of your moves.
It didn't take long until all of the thugs were unconscious on the ground, you used your powers to tie them up with the rope that was conveniently nearby. The woman was safe and had managed to run away safely away from the danger. To avoid anyone from seeing you guys, you were all quick to leave. On the rooftop is where you celebrated your victory with them.
"That was awesome!! Up tops (Y/N)!!" He'd put his hand up and you were fast to high five him.
"What do you say we go celebrate this over some pizza?" Raph suggested which almost everyone went along with, all except Donnie.
Even back in the lair he was quiet. His expression blank like he doesn't seem happy about the pizza or anything. It peaked your interest almost instantly. That's why once the hangout was over and that everyone has gone to sleep, you felt awkward trailing behind him to his room. You could tell from his body language he had his guard up.
"Rough night?" You tried to start small talk with him. Something you didn't think you'd find yourself doing.
Even though he heard you, he still remained silent. This is starting to feel like karma for how you treated him all the time. You watched as he removes his armour to reveal his soft shell. Even though you'd normally just go to your side of the room, you couldn't bring yourself to walk away, you didn't know why but you felt involved with whatever it is he's dealing with right now.
"Is something wrong?" You questioned but he tried to ignore your presence by putting his equipments away.
"You're not your usual self... did something happen?" You asked and you could see his shoulders tense at your words.
"Hey I'm—"
"Just— Just stop!" He'd shout, suddenly turning around to look at you. His gaze deadly cold as he stares into your irises.
"You think you can just come into my life and try to take my spot?! All these countless years of building and inventing machines for my brothers, only for a fairy tale like YOU to pop out of nowhere!!" He'd say, putting out hand gestures to express his emotions.
You didn't say anything but listened with your eyes slightly wide. So this was how he felt about you...?
"It's not fair!! How is it that you can just do all these things with a flick of your wrist while I have to spend restless nights to even achieve that little?! You—!" He'd stop short, unable to finish as he takes a break to catch his breath.
You frown.
Ah you really feel like a terrible person right now... and it's not that you could control how you were birthed with your powers... but it was mostly because of the way you were pushing his buttons ever since you came. You joining their patrol tonight must have been the last straw.
"You're right. It's not fair" You'd utter and he stares at you, a bit taken aback from your sudden confession.
"It's not fair I get a head start compared to the rest... but that doesn't mean you can put out that anger at me! It's not my fault! Besides, you're clearly a smart dude and a very good brother from what I've seen. So why are you comparing yourself to me? It's like comparing a shark to an orca! It was never meant to be fair" You said. His eyes slowly trailing away like he was no longer able to look at you directly like he did before.
"I... sigh you're right... I'm... s—sorry" He muttered, his voice faint but you heard exactly what he was trying to say.
"Don't worry about it... I'm also sorry for the way I've treated you. Let's start over?" You asked, a slight smile on your face and he couldn't help but admit it was a good look on you.
"Yeah"
Ever since then, his behaviour around you seemed to change little by little. His questions seem to become less as he was now more attentive when listening to your answers. He'd also quit his weird staring habit... well just almost... he still stares at you but instead of looking so focused like you're a strange object, he looks at you with a more friendly expression.
His drastic change really got to you.
It was like a whole brand new person.
He began to act kind towards you. Even going as far as to offering to help with your strategy planning, it definitely threw you off guard when he told you he was willing to help. Obviously his constant yapping and disagreements are still there but they seem more playful compared to before. It was when you realised how he has made you laugh multiple times that you start to notice these feelings developing in you.
You almost hated yourself when you came to the conclusion you had fallen for the guy.
The same guy you could barely tolerate weeks ago.
The question now was that, did he feel the same for you? You could try reading his mind but would that be crossing the line? You'd be evading his privacy and that's the last thing you'd want to do. Inside the room where you laid on your bed, you couldn't help but think about these thoughts while also having your papers of plans scattered across you. How did all of these feelings even came from...?
"Well you're up early" He'd come in the room with a cup of coffee. You nearly jump at his voice.
"I'm early?" You chuckled, noting he was the one to be first out of bed.
"Jokes on you I didn't even sleep" He then placed his cup on his table before joining to examine your mess of papers.
"Now, shall we continue?" He asked to which you nodded.
It was hard to even focus being so close to him. Gosh you really are incapable of thinking now. You gulped, trying to remain calm. This was not you. You never act like this around anyone. All of this stressing made you zone out that Donnie took notice after realising you hadn't been listening to a thing he's been telling you.
"Hellllooooo? Have you used your telepathy to block me out? That's really typical" He'd say and it quickly took you back to the present.
"What?"
"What?" He laughs at your confused state. Ah this is giving you even more mixed signals...
"Sorry, just tired from waking up, let's continue" You said, trying to ignore what just happened, feeling as though you were slightly embarrassed.
"Nononoo, you've been constantly daydreaming everytime I talk to you. Something's up" He'd say.
Oh man some part of you wished he wasn't this observant.
"I guess... I'm just missing home...?" You lied, trying to excuse your behaviour. If he ever finds out you might just bury yourself.
"So you're homesick?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Don't worry, there's no shame to it, the sooner we solve this the sooner we get you home" He said confidently.
He then moved closer to you, his actions causing you to freeze. You were unsure what he was trying to do as he inches closer and closer to you.... just to get a pen? You were embarrassed the second he moved back to his spot. With the pen in hand he continued on writing. Ah that was awkward.
All this beating around the bush was driving you crazy.
"I figured it out!" Donnie exclaimed and it got your attention. You turn to him to look at his plan. It was a bit complicated but with the right timing it could work.
Then you wondered what will happen after you finally found a way home.
Are you just gonna simply leave?
"You don't look awfully happy about this. Is the joy too much that you're struggling to express it?" He grinned.
You sigh.
Now would be the best time.
"No I just... uhm... I have feelings for you?" You awkwardly confessed. Your words making the grin on his face drop.
"I'm saying it now so that if you reject me I can just simply go and we can pretend none of this happened" You tried to lighten up the mood with a weak smile but the shock on Donnie's face made you wonder if this was a bad idea.
Suddenly he was blushing.
You had to blink twice to make sure what you seeing was true.
"Ah... why'd you have to make it worse for me? I was trying to get rid of these feelings" He ran his hand across his face.
What?
"Do you not love me?" You asked and it made him panic.
"Nono! It's not that, it's that... how will I love you if you're never with me? You have a home and I realised it's not here" He frown.
Maybe, it was in the heat of the moment, but you suddenly had a solution to solve this problem.
A solution you would blindly do for love.
"Then I'll stay"
"Sta—stay?! You can't—"
"But I can. Those space cops are out to get me and as much as I miss my people, I'm afraid I could put them in danger if I head back. Maybe... I can stay a little longer?" You said and for a second he stares at you... but soon his eyes sparkles with gleam.
"You wanna stay with me?" You smiled at how awfully innocent he sounded when he asked.
"I guess you've grown on me"
"Well wow... haha... okay... um..." He stutters, struggling to even put the right words in the right order.
"Do you want to um... eat lunch... together? I assume that you're starving right now" He said, trying to play it off.
"Sure, will you be cooking my meal?" You joked which he was quick to return with a smile.
"I'm starting to think you're gonna be more of handful now that we're dating"
"Likewise"

Helluva Boss + SPY x family crossover inspired by Laviko_weid drawing on Twitter!!!!
I have so much fun thinking of the character dynamics and the fun added bonus of all of them being from Hell. (This is a world where there is a problem of hellspawn migrating to Earth, and the government is working with Hell to purge their world of secret Hellborn residents)
Stolas
Stolas ran away from the throne and his arranged marriage WITH his grimoire when he was 23, fleeing to the human world to start over. (Meaning Stolas is much more accustomed to ‘real life’ than canon Stolas. Still love them both tho)
Due to not using a crystal and instead uses sheer magical will that Stolas stays in human form, he finds it difficult to keep his eyes constantly changed, so opts to just keep his eyes closed. This doesn’t limit him at all, and he can see perfectly fine with them shut. However, if feeling intense feelings, especially if sudden, he forgets or just doesn’t care to keep them shut.
Stolas became an assassin at age 25, finding an odd sense of belonging to the profession. A control he never felt in his previous life. But as the years passed, Stolas became increasingly worried about being found out by the government. Most likely he wouldn’t be executed, but at this point, he has grown fond of his life on Earth and is making no plans on returning to his loveless marriage or royal duties back in Hell.
Blitzø
During the Circus fire, the fire had spread to nearby trees and buildings, including a building that was owned by a dangerous gang in the area, the fire killing a solid number of important gang members. For years they had hunted Blitzø, and while trying to escape them one day, Blitzø landed himself inside of a jail cell, meeting Moxxie in the process. After breaking out, they both decided it would just be safer to leave Hell all together.
Blitzø steals Veroskia’s (how to spell??) crystal and gives it to Moxxie then proceeds to steal himself one by sleeping with a succubus. They flee to earth. Blitzø is 22 at this point.
He found himself hating that hellspawn are hunted on earth (the whole point of going to earth was to be able to live without that fear of being prey) he attempted to become an assassin, however, Moxxie went into spy work and was easily persuaded since he thought it was the next best thing because you got to dress up AND you got to shoot people.
(Blitzø is a great spy because he is unpredictable and spontaneous- definitely a different kind of spy compared to Twilight.)
(Millie is human in this AU, Millie is that one coworker, Camilla, Moxxie is Frankie. These two are married, don’t question it)
Octavia
Octavia’s egg hatched a week after Stolas had left. (Stella had kept the egg a secret from Stolas, wanting to not constantly be pestered by the owl demon)
Stella was set to be wed to another Goetia, and she didn’t want to bring the owlet from her first marriage that failed spectacularly over to her second one. She wasn’t close enough to the newly hatched bird to be bothered. But It couldn’t get out that a Goetia had been given up to the streets of hell, and Stella didn’t want this girl to be unfairly exploited or raised improperly for being a Goetia, especially when she looked so much like her father already. Stella manually transformed Octavia into her human disguise and handed her off to a succubus who she had paid handsomely and instructed her to be handed off to a family who could take care of her. Unfortunately, Octavia had been handed off to demon obsessed lunatics.
At the age of 4, they had Octavia read a spell that they had no idea what it did. She had the magical ability to cast it, but she had the reading ability of a four year old and she was attempting to read a language she had been taught second hand by people who had taught themselves how to read it. It didn’t go great, she passed out in the process, however, when she awoke, she was granted the gift of telepathy.
Stolas and Octavia are both unaware that she is his actual blood related daughter, but it’s constantly mentioned by other characters that they look much more related than Blitzø and Octavia do. But it’s late to change the story now!
When the show starts, Stolas is 28, Blitzø is 25, and Octavia is 5
Also also Loona is Bond, the future seeing dog.

Chapter 9: A Rescue
Summary:
Legend tries to escape the Yiga hideout. He finds a friend.
Legend rushed onward, but hardly made it to the next room before he had to stop and collect himself, both his breath and his tumbling thoughts.
What in the Sacred Realm just happened? Time slowing down, the Teacher letting him walk away? This wasn’t how dungeons worked. Nothing was adding up.
He leaned on the wall and assessed the room.
Practice dummies lined one wall, weapons on the other. Each dummy had a devilish sketch pinned to the face—a face with distinctive blond hair.
The veteran stumbled over to it, snatched the paper free, and laughed. These were somehow worse than his old wanted posters! Wild had to see it. By Din’s dance, he’d make it out of here just to shove this in Wild’s face. The others would never let him live it down. Nor, of course, would he.
His prize safely stowed away, the veteran lit up the now-faceless dummy to mark his path, but didn’t ignite the rest of the room: they might need to come back this way, and after the inferno he created earlier, he should probably reserve at least enough oxygen for the journey out.
He moved on, and found the last hall in this wing. Peering around the corner, Legend came face-to-face with a stark white mask.
The footsoldier raised a hand to whistle an alarm. Legend swung his blade faster.
He wiped his sword clean, checked the map, then followed the switchbacking halls. These led to mirrored rows of tiny rooms on the bottom edge of the map. A prison, most likely. Not an ideal place to find Hyrule, but a likely one.
Ahead in the next hall, two burly guards paced.
Memories of his first adventure bubbled to the surface. If only Hyrule had Zelda’s telepathy.
Legend’s boots made no sound, and then no guards remained. He ran, and the floor sloped ever downward. His steps, quiet as they were, still echoed. This felt more like a dungeon than anything he’d seen so far.
Passing through one last stone archway, he found the hall lined with cave-like cells. He checked through the bars of each one. All gaped back at him, empty, until the fourth. From the dark, red eyes glared back at him. Legend lit up his firerod and peered closer. A Yiga soldier glared back at him, still in uniform but unmasked, his face heavily scarred by what looked like bear claws. He was bound, and the ropes were tagged with the inverse design of the many papers stuck around the caves. Sheikah magic, musty as moss, but mingled with something wrong, something heavy as tar. It must be some spell to prevent teleporting, he guessed.
The brawny Yiga man stared at him, incredulous, then bellowed, “Guards!” Apparently he was still loyal to his clan, despite whatever crimes he’d committed. Legend knew they would not answer.
Legend moved on to the next cell, knowing the guards would not be coming. In the next cell, a slight figure stepped forward into the dim glow of the torchlights. Gold eyes looked back at him surrounded by a faint shimmer of fairy-magic.
Rulie!
No, too small.
A little girl approached the bars, folding her arms as she scrutinized him, her nose held high. It was as long as the Old Man’s. Bold red hair, pulled in a high ponytail, curled at the end like a piglet’s tail.
A Gerudo child?
Bright, ornate flower patterns covered her thin slippers and silk clothes. Stranger still, they glimmered with hints of fairy magic, identical to Wild’s tunic, but dimmer. He’d encountered magic clothing before, but the fluid, nectar-sweet fairy magic was distinct from the sharp, clean bite of Hytopian magic, or the chilling, weightlessness and mystic glow of Lorulean weaves. He resolved to finally buckle down and ask Wild about his tunic as soon as he got the chance. Fairy blessed clothing was exceptionally rare in his own era, but here apparently even little kids wore it.
The girl watched him closely, her stare intense as a beamos, while he quickly checked the last two cells.
Empty.
Legend tamped down his disappointment, and with a voice hoarse with ash and smoke, asked, “Either of you see a brown-haired boy with gold eyes? Wears a green tunic?”
The little girl shook her head, earrings tinkling, but her eyes widened in surprise. “You’re a voe !”
“A what?” Legend asked, but she only scowled. He shrugged, too tired to puzzle out what that meant.
The maskless Yiga soldier gaped at Legend. “What?” He hissed, “Then… you don’t have him either?” He gave a dark, mirthless laugh, shaking his head as his smirk dissolved into a snarl. “Oh, I knew it was that demon! Sooga warned us! That monster won’t be controlled, no matter what it promises! It can’t be trusted!” He lunged at the bars, shoved his face as far as he could between them, and bellowed toward the very-dead guards, “It was the sword! It wasn’t my fault!”
Legend’s knees threatened to give out, and he leaned against the bars of an empty cell. This all made less and less sense. Hyrule hadn’t escaped… he’d never arrived in the first place? He was never here ! The veteran shook his head, his vision swimming from exhaustion, both magical and physical.
Another red potion. He dropped the empty glass in his bag, then wiped sweat and ash from his face with a shaky hand.
“Right.” He turned to the child, collecting himself, plastering a friendly mask over his frustrations. “Want out?” He regretted the disappointment still heavy in his voice.
“Of course,” The girl sniped, still eyeing him suspiciously. Whatever “voes” were, she didn’t seem to trust them.
The scapegoated Yiga soldier yelled for the guards again, loud and desperately as he glared at both of them. Legend wanted to scream back at him, to throw fire into the cell. He’d already spent so much time in this cursed place and his brother wasn’t even here !
Din’s teeth. Hyrule! Where are you?
But he also felt a spark of pity for the idiot who took the fall for something he didn’t actually do.
Instead, Legend braced himself for one last fight, one last rescue to complete, before leaving this whole place behind. There were no other leads to chase here.
This girl looked strong for her age, but she was still small, barely up to his elbow, and too young to help much in the escape. He’d need to do this on his own.
“Alright. Stand back!” Legend shouted to her. He aimed his fire rod, about to torch the wood beams that served as bars, and the talismans, and use his shield to barrel through when they were weak enough, but the girl scoffed and pointed behind him.
A rope and pulley system. One designed to open cell doors.
Legend grumbled. If she wasn’t a young kid in need, he might have stuck with the fire rod plan.
He needed to slow down, to think. Legend put the weapon away and yanked the fifth lever. Arms crossed, she came out and stared him up and down again . She had gold eyes like ‘Rulie’s, but red hair as bright as hibiscus, just like—
“Can you actually get us out of here?” she demanded. “How old are you, voe? You don’t look like a grown up, and voe like you aren't even…well…”
Oh, this was going to be a nuisance. “Aren’t what?” Legend stared her down.
“Tough?” she said, throwing out a hand, eyebrows raised, as if this was common knowledge and he was an idiot.
Oh Sweet Nayru’s blessings... “First, I don’t know what a voe is. Second, whoever said it is probably wrong about them, generalizations are never good. Third, we need to go. Now.”
She scowled. “How did you get in here? How do I know you’re not one of them ? They looked just like my aunts when they took me. You could be a Yiga in disguise.”
Okay, fair . But every second here was a second wasted. “Would they bother pretending to be someone else inside their own base?”
She chewed her lip and seemed to mull it over.
“You’re staying here, then?” Come on, kid!
“I… no,” she admitted, uncrossing her arms, “but they said they’d kill me if I tried to escape again. I can’t get caught.”
“They always say stuff like that. They’re idiots. Can you ride on my back? We’ll move faster if you let me carry you.” He held out a winged pegasus boot. Maybe she was familiar with other magic clothes. She only nodded and climbed quickly onto his back.
The girl muffled her squeal of surprise into Legend’s shoulder as he dashed back the way he’d come, breezing through passages and skidding around corners, until they entered a new hall.
“Do you even know where you’re going?” the girl hissed when he slowed down and silently checked the passage ahead. It was clear. Oddly clear.
“Yes!” he shot back.
“I’m just asking! How do you know?” She demanded.
Legend checked his tone this time and took a centering breath. “Because I checked the map.”
“How come you’re dressed like a vai?”
Zelda, Hilda, and even Ravio were never this annoying when sneaking through dungeons. “What is a… listen, kid, just… hush.”
Legend stopped at the end of the hall. A sense of danger opened like a pit in his stomach. He fidgeted, shifted the girl more securely, and crept slowly up to the next turn to listen. Something felt off.
At first, he heard nothing but the girl breathing too loudly over his shoulder. But no… it wasn’t just her. He could hear the soft brush of feet on sand, the creaking dry of leather, and small sniffs and grunts beyond.
Soldiers ahead. They were waiting. Another ambush.
Legend slid the girl off and signaled her for silence. Slipping on his red cape once more, he poured his magic into it and peered around the corner.
It was a cavernous room he’d passed earlier, scorched remains of a storage tower bearing witness. The cave was tall, long, and rather narrow and winding. Short walls, fences, and steps divided it into three parts.
Scattered wall to wall, dozens of foot soldiers crouched in readiness to attack anything that entered from the lowest room. It was the path he’d taken to the skulltulas. Legend suppressed a grin. Perhaps the Teacher hadn’t told anyone he’d reentered another way?
That chilly canyon door would take them north into freezing mesas, away from the desert this girl surely came from. And that shrine was useless without Wild’s slate. They had to risk the desert exit to get her home, no matter what men or monsters stood in their path.
His current hiding spot—a narrow hall deep in the shadows—led to the middle portion of the room and the burnt remains, the stink of charred wood and burnt bananas still thick in the air.
He looked left, and found exactly what he needed: at that end, the entrance to stone stairs, cut from the caves, like every other structure in the hideout. They led around and up to a bridge that spanned over the stairs’s entrance and to an open doorway that led to their final destination, according to the map: a round room, one with many doors tucked inside narrow alcoves. One of them led outside, to freedom. Legend could even see the faintest yellow glow of sunlight overpowering dim torchlight, peeking through the distant arch.
“I know you are there, Hero of Legend.” A deep, hypnotic voice echoed through the cavern like a spell.
Legend jerked back behind the corner, yanked the girl up, and wrapped the cape over them both. The girl moved stiff as a log, and he hardly blamed her when her nails dug into his skin. This man’s voice was unsettling, crawling over his skin like insects, blurring the line between sounds in the room and sounds in his own head.
Was this the mage, at last? The one with the stench of rot, who hopefully didn’t know about Legend’s pilfering? He couldn’t see through the cloak’s magic, could he?
The intoxicating voice spoke again. “Don’t you wish to find him?”
Legend ignored him as he stepped out of the hall, watching for a reaction from the masked soldiers. None of them turned his way. Good . They had to risk it, while the old man yapped. Their sound would cover their footsteps if they were lucky.
The voice surrounded them again, masking its origin. “You and I know he is fated to die. But what comes after? I can show you how to bring him back from death. That's all any of us want, for the dead to return to us,” echoed the voice in the stone ceiling above.
Legend knew fate was, in fact, rather flexible. Going back in time and meeting his own ancestor, Sir Raven, had changed many things in his Hyrule. The sorceress Veran had nearly erased Legend when she tried to execute Sir Raven, and wreak havoc in an ancient time that should have been secure and unchangeable in the warp and weft of fate, if such a thing existed. Clearly, it did not.
With these memories, Legend steeled his mind against the words. He was rather picky about which disembodied voices to trust anyway.
As he fully entered the room, he searched for the source, stepping softly forward but not activating the pegasus boots. He needed every drop of magic for the cape to keep them both hidden, and his magic was draining fast.
Legend padded forward on his toes, balancing the girl and himself in careful silence with every step, weaving breathlessly between dozens of footsoldiers toward the stairs. One soldier spun a spear, bored and restless, and the veteran carefully timed his run past it.
He ducked under a Blademaster’s sword, held in fidgeting hands. Ignoring the pit of anxiety building in his gut, Legend continued to maneuver between soldiers and their whispered grumbles of where is that stupid kid , and let’s just storm the hall already . He squeezed between them at a lull in their conversation when they turned to other neighbors to quietly continue to grouse.
They all still faced the lowest level, clearly expecting him to come from that way. Let them waste their efforts, the idiots .
He danced between two more blademasters, both of which stood a head taller than Time, nearly Teacher’s height. It was harder to notice short interlopers like him from their vantage point, and at last Legend’s chest relaxed at the knowledge that they were close, at last, to the stairs, and to escape.
But the girl began to tremble. She tried to hide it, flexing and relaxing her fingers, but still he felt her whole body shivering.
Not far ahead now, just beyond a group of yawning scythe-wielders, the stairs waited. The first steps were blocked by three assassins.
“ Walk faster ,” the girl whispered.
Legend dared not answer, or move faster.
“ Hurry !” she begged in an ever louder whisper, digging her fingers tighter into the shoulder of his tunic.
Legend shook his head, watching the guards around them for any clue that they’d heard the girl’s plea.
She barely breathed, but kept shifting, the swish of fabric far too loud, as she looked back and forth at the soldiers surrounding them.
She’s panicking!
Legend moved closer to the left wall and slid along it where the rows of soldiers ended, leaving just enough room for the toteming pair to turn at the corner and slip behind them, parallel to the bridge. They just had to reach the stairs, only a few feet away.
The voice filled the cavern and his mind again. “He will die, hero. Fate and the gods have willed it so.” Fear wrapped him with every word, wrapping like coils around him.
Fuck fate , he scoffed in his head, and the fear loosened, but still followed him.
“I can teach you a spell that will weave him back together.”
Legend stopped and swallowed hard, heart thundering in his chest as the fear caught up to him.
It’s a lie. And yet, he struggled to take another step. Why do they keep saying that? A spark of anxious hope flared at the words. Is it possible? If Hyrule were to die, somehow, or any of them, is there a way to bring them back? Stop! They don’t have Hyrule , and it’s probably dark magic, he reminded himself. They don’t even know where the demon is .
Legend scanned the way forward, and found the voice’s source. Above him on the bridge stood a man in purple robes. Four soldiers guarded him, two on either side. For a brief moment, Legend’s heart raced at the folds of purple fabric. But no, these robes were dull, dark, and the draped hood bore no silly, familiar ears. Instead, a withered face stared across the room, amber eyes nearly glowing from the hood.
“Believe it or not, we want the same thing.” The mage droned on, the buzzing on Legend’s skin growing stronger as he spoke. He longed to itch everywhere, but resisted. The girl did not.
Legend grimaced at the words, the false familiarity it established between them, and the paralyzing spell of fear. Din, this same shit again? It sounded no different from the weird old Teacher, and the demon’s nonsense about the red thread of fate. Whale it stung to turn his mind away from Hyrule– not abandoning him! Not giving up! —he thought about the girl trembling on his back. Right now, she needed him. That’s all that mattered.
“Hero…think about your friend. He will need your help.”
Hyrule’s blood. Hyrule’s death . That’s what these people wanted.
He would not offer himself as a pawn in their plot.
Regardless, the stairs were too crowded to continue.
Legend was stuck.
“Reveal yourself, and we will talk. I promise no harm will come to you. But you will help, either way. For I have seen it. Fate will not be thwarted.”
He crouched and quietly bent enough to set the girl on her feet, and dug in his pouch.
“ Don’t you dare leave me here! ” she hissed, clinging to him.
He shook his head slightly, and she slowly let go of his shoulder but held tight to his belt. Hands free, he downed another potion, tart and dry on his tongue but washing his body wholeness . He’d need it all for what he was about to do.
The girl slipped off his back. He tried not to panic, but she left one arm on him and climbed back up a moment later.
Her arm snaked down his, her fist over his hand, and something spilling out. He opened his palm. She dropped sand and pebbles into it.
What?
“ A distraction. ”
Oh.
Dirt could work, but he could do better. Legend drew out a boomerang, an old one with no magic. He hated to lose it, but it had a purpose now. From the shadow of the bridge, he threw it. It was easy to mistake for a keese in the dim light, but the clatter it made on the far side of the cavern sent a shockwave among the soldiers. Dozens of them rushed to the sound.
The Yiga on the stairs disappeared to investigate.
Legend hauled the girl up the stairs, his foot slipping a little on the sand as he climbed.
At the top was another cell, oddly separated from the dungeon. He checked inside.
Empty.
But there, midway across the bridge, stood the mage, framed in the faint hint of daylight beyond, blocking it.
The bridge was too narrow to sneak across, not with four blademasters and a dark-magic wielding mage between them and the way out.
“He’s here,” the old mage whispered to the guard on his right. “I feel the old magic. Have them move about. He may be hiding.”
One step ahead of you . But now Legend needed more than a simple distraction, especially if the mage could sense his magic. He dared not lead them to the Gerudo girl, but how to get her past them?
Legend’s eyes lit up with an idea. He fished in his pouch, and grabbed a ring–a magic ring–and slipped it onto her thumb. In the quietest whisper he could manage, he spoke over his shoulder. “Wait until I clear the way, then run through there and follow the sunlight.”
He slid her down, and crouched as he turned to face her, careful to keep the cloak over them both. He swept his sweaty bangs aside to watch her response. She searched his face for more answers. He had none to give. Before she could object, the veteran ducked out of the cape.
He took the first blademaster by surprise, striking his back so hard the man plummeted off the high bridge.
The mage backed away between the far pair of guards as the second blademaster approached. Legend unleashed a spin attack, four strikes, and he dropped the clansman with a lethal strike to his collar.
The mage seethed. “Enough! You have something that does not belong to you! Not unless you stay and learn the way.” He raised a finger, eyes glittering red in the torchlight, cold and hard. “The book is missing half the spell! Only I can teach it.”
Legend lunged with his fire rod and sword. The mage dissipated the flames, while one guard swung his blade, and a sharp wind knocked Legend to the edge of the bridge, and over the bridge. The Mage gasped and rounded on the guard with a furious shout “STOP!”
Empty air gaped below him, but Legend was not called the veteran lightly. He fetched two items at once, kept together for just such an occasion: a feather, and a bulky hookshot. Holding the roc’s feather, he leapt high on the open air as if leaping from flat, solid ground. He jumped again, arcing high once more, his stomach in his ribs, soaring far out of easy reach, and as he dropped he aimed the hookshot at the fourth guard. It burst forward and latched on to the stunned guard’s bicep, and with a sickening jolt they swapped places. The blademaster shouted as he lurched and plummeted, and Legend stood face to face with the mage on the bridge once more.
To his surprise, the last guard toppled over the edge, a sickle appearing, already buried in his side.
The mage spun aside and raised his hands toward the place the weapon had appeared, dark magic gathering around him, acidic and rank with rot. Legend rushed forward and bodily yanked the Mage’s arm, away from what must be the Gerudo girl. With all the force he could muster from his exhausted body, he spun the mage and shoved him off the bridge.
The mage fell, but coils of dark power slowed his descent. Red flashed in his eyes as he glared up at Legend.
Smoke choked the air around him, but Legend reached into the fog to where the girl must have been. Shaking, invisible fingers grasped his. The unseen girl climbed onto his back. Both her and the cape settled over the veteran as he rushed in the direction of the narrow hall as the smoke cleared, bowling over soldiers as they appeared, chasing the faint glow of sunlight.
They streaked into a round room like he’d seen, but instead of doors he saw statues, except one bright alcove. He passed through it in a blur.
Sunlight! Legend chased it outside into the hot desert air, heavy with grit. The sky blinded him, but ran forwards all the same. Soon, shapes appeared through the white haze: reddish canyon cliffs, sparkling sand sloping downward, and a ribbon of pale blue sky.
And those damned puffs of spoke. They appeared atop the cliffs and scattered on the path ahead. Dozens of bows aimed their way, their bodies invisible but their footprints in the sand were not .
The girl screamed as she clawed his shoulders, “Your shield! Surf!”
Oh! Wild had shown them shield surfing before. He’d thought it a waste, seeing how much it damaged Wild’s already flimsy shields, but right now he saw the appeal. The cape gave them cover, powered by the ring, as Legend fumbled in his pouch, rifling through rings and canes and empty glass bottles until at last he felt the smooth, long curve of uncle’s soldier's shield. But their footprints must have given them away, as arrows rained down. He tossed the shield ahead, and with a leap hooked one foot into the strap. The other foot he planted on the back edge, and with the momentum of his run they sped off, rushing down the hot sand, gaining momentum, exhilarating and fresh.
The girl on his back laughed.
They surfed for half a minute before the ring’s magic petered out. Legend stuffed the cape away. He’d have to rely on himself now, on his ability to dodge and weave.
A skill he excelled at.
He quickly found how to move his feet just so to aim his descent, and he charted a breakneck, unpredictable course downward, sometimes lurching left or right, or kicking on the back of the shield to leap over boulders instead of swerving around them, arrows chasing them. The girl clung on and tried to shrink against him, and he mentally apologized for the seasickness she must be feeling.
Red bodysuits and white smoke littered with paper still appeared all around, though Legend dodged them with ease. A squeeze and shout from the child made him worry she’d lost her grip as he took a particularly sharp right curve, but she clawed him tighter than ever and held firmly, and they sped onward.
A dozen pops of white flashed in a cluster less than a hundred yards ahead. Barreling at such a speed, Legend could barely hear the girl’s shout of alarm, but he’d already seen them and angled for one gap before quickly shifting to pass through another while the Yiga scrambled toward the first.
Lithe soldiers appeared once again, much further ahead than the first group and forming a tighter line. Their sickles flashed in the sun. Perhaps they wanted to give him time to slow to a stop, to surrender. Legend smirked and eyed a sloped ridge nearby. It was perfect. He swerved sharply left. It was difficult balancing two people on the shield as he steered, but he’d seen it done once before in a small, snowy canyon. Thanks again, Wild, he thought as he aimed for the stone ramp, grated over the edge, and soared high above the heads of the Yiga. The white masks tracked him as he soared overhead.
Legend’s stomach twisted as he dropped, but he clutched the roc’s feather and gave a shout of triumph as they bounced once in the air halfway down, then again closer to the ground, and finally hit the sand in a spray, mercifully staying upright at the impact and hurtling forwards. They left a cloud of dust in their wake big enough to obscure the assassins. The girl shrieked, and Legend couldn’t tell if it was fear or the thrill.
At last, at long last, The canyon ahead stayed clear. They rode it in tense silence, Legend no longer dodging and weaving, simply feeling the rush of air cool the sweat completely coating him. His rabbit-quick heart finally began to slow down.
They soared onward, riding the solid wave of glittering sand as the canyon curved left and opened onto the vast, sea-like desert.
Legend slowed as it spilled over the flat expanse and leveled out. He stopped just before reaching a path through ruins. A town shimmered into sight through the desert haze, only a few miles away.
Legend jumped off the shield and bent to let the girl down. She slid slowly, and he felt her wobble but seemed to catch her feet. He stared at the distant town and drank. The relatively cool stamina potion felt like heaven in his throat, the heat sapping his strength even as he stood still.
“Is that your home?” he asked between gulps, searching the ruins for signs of monsters or places to rest safely all the while.
“Ye-yes,” the girl whispered. Legend turned as the girl dropped to one knee, her face pale as paper.
Legend cursed. Two arrow fletches peeked over her shoulder, rising and falling with her labored breaths: one in the back of her upper arm and one in her shoulder. Droplets fell and shone like rubies in the sand behind her, swiftly swallowed by the earth.
Din dammit! He should have stopped to give her an extra shield for her back! Or anything to protect herself! He was used to treating wounds on himself, but removing arrowheads on a child? One that already barely trusted him? This was Warrior's area of expertise. He needed help.
“Hey, kid, I’m going to get you some help. You’re going to be okay. Just… just stay awake, okay? You need to tell me if I’m going the right way. Got it?” Goddesses what am I doing? What am I supposed to say?
Legend stowed his shield, downed another magic potion, chiding himself to conserve them better, and carefully lifted her onto his back again.
She cried out, and her arms lay limp now, but he tied the cape around her back, kicked his heels, and ran.
They’d certainly have all she needed in that town ahead, beyond the ruins.

Robin stopped being surprised by Steve Harrington showing up at her bedroom window months ago. Jesus, there's a sentence her 16 year old self wouldn't fucking believe for a second. The Hair, climbing up the trellis her dad built for the roses her mom planted and then forgot about three months later? Yeah right, as if. But it turns out alternate dimensions and sci-fi movie monsters and Russian conspiracies in Bumfuck, Nowhere, USA are all real, so how surprising really is The King himself, collapsing through her window with all the grace of a baby giraffe, out of breath like he- holy shit, did he fucking run here?
"Dingus, did you run here? What the hell?"
"Had to- hang on, Jesus. Holy shit." He bends over, hands on his knees, panting like he just ran a marathon. Which, she guesses, he almost did.
"You have a car, you lunatic, what could possibly be so important?"
"Didn't think about it. Had to get here."
"Is someone dead?!" Oh fuck, Is the Upside Down back? Oh shit, oh no, it can't be back, right? Superhero girl closed the gates! Right?! Oh god, oh no, oh fuck, it's back, the Russians are back, they realized they couldn't let her live after what she's seen, her parents will never even know what happened to her, and they'll kill Dingus too, and dorky little Henderson, and that menace Erica, oh god, they're gonna die, and Hopper's gone and superhero girl is far away and she doesn't have superpowers anymore anyway, which is frankly bogus because what the hell, Robin never even got to hang out with a real live magic person before, which, ok, that's a selfish thought, but that's ok, we can think selfish thoughts and then set them aside and not act on them, thoughts are not actions, thoughts happen all the time without our consent, they don't determine our character-
"Bobs, you're spiraling. Nothing bad happened, I just realized something and I freaked out and I had to talk to you right away. Forgot to call. Sorry, I should have called. Ran straight out of the house. I don't even think my shoes match, what the fuck?"
She's gonna kill him, she really is.
She loves him so much.
"Jesus, you're insane. Sit, you absolute dweeb. I'm getting you some water, when I get back you can tell me what the hell is going on."
He's sitting on her bed when she gets back upstairs, staring at something in his hands. Christ, his hands are shaking. What the fuck, Dingus?
He takes the water and downs it in one go- ugh, sports guys- then flops onto his back and covers his eyes with a miserable groan.
"I know we've got the whole twin telepathy thing going on, bubba, but I'm gonna need at least a little bit to work with here. Give me something. Is it your parents? The kids? Uh, what was her name? From Thursday? Janice?"
"Janine, and no. Ugh. Here." The arm not covering his eyes flops out towards her, holding- ah. A zine. He had promised to drive up to Indy last weekend to the secret bookshop she told him about and get her some new ones, even though she couldn't go with him because her cousin Randy got caught cheating on his fiancée and her parents made her come with the rest of the family to help him move. Fucking Randy. Maybe he should make better choices, so the rest of them wouldn't have to clean up his messes. Jerk.
Anyway.
"Marked the page." Which, yep, there's a purple paper clip stuck to a page near the middle, because Steve knows how much she hates people who dogear books, even books that aren't really books at all, so he's been training himself out of it, because he's sort of the best. Again, 16 year old Robin would have her committed for thinking that, but here we are.
The pamphlet isn't one of the periodicals she sent him for, so he must have picked it up on his own. It looks handmade, just some folded sheets that look like they came out of a typewriter, bound with the kind of twine you can buy at the hardware store. It's called Awakenings. The page he's marked looks like a personal essay, no title, no real signature, just a pair of initials at the end of the page and a half of writing. She starts reading, trying to figure out what the hell spooked Steve so bad.
"I've always been normal. I've always had crushes on men, just like the other girls. There was never a feeling of "I'm different," or "Oh, this is wrong." There was never anything to think very hard about. I'd giggle and blush when the boys looked over at us on the playground, same as everyone else. Later on when I was older I looked at my poster of Harrison Ford, shirtless and hairy and sweating, and I touched myself, and it felt good, just like it was supposed to. I didn't mind thinking of my future husband, and our future kids, and the pretty house with the pretty garden we'd have, just like my parents have, just like they wanted for me. I was normal. Everything was fine.
I thought everything about me was normal. So I didn't understand why the other girls at sleepover parties would giggle and stop and say "Ew, gross!" when we practiced kissing. It felt nice! I wanted to keep going! But it seemed like no one else did. I didn't understand why none of them talked about getting butterflies in their stomach when Laura, who was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, transferred in our senior year, why they seemed so angry at her. Those butterflies were what jealousy felt like, right? So why did the other girls seem to feel so different?
I made my first lesbian friend in college, on the very first day, right across the hall in my dorm. We sat next to each other at Orientation and I thought I'd never have another best friend that wonderful in my whole life, so I'd hold on to her with everything I had. She came out to me the night before Christmas break, hiding under the blankets in my dorm room with the twinkling lights glowing. She was so scared. I held her and told her I loved her no matter what, and she seemed so glad, to have someone to talk to.
When she talked about falling in love with girls, I was so confused. The way she described it sounded like what it felt like to have girlfriends, I was sure. I felt that all the time. I asked her if she was sure she was gay, and she looked so shocked and angry and hurt, and I didn't know how to fix it, so I tried to explain. That what she felt couldn't be liking girls, because I felt that too, and I was normal. I liked boys, so I couldn't be gay. I couldn't be.
I'm glad it was her I said all that to. If someone else had told me about being bisexual, I think I would have hated them. I would have cried, and screamed, and said horrible things. Because I wasn't gay, I was normal, and it was so scary to think that might be a lie. Thank God it was her, my best friend in the world, who I never want to lose. Thank God I listened.
Because I'm not normal. I'm queer. I like men, and I like women. I can love them both the same, but it doesn't matter anymore, because I love her. I love her, and she loves me, and I don't need to be normal anymore."
Robin's face feels wet, which probably means she's crying. She cries a lot, reading these sorts of stories, in the zines she has to keep hidden under her bed, or, these days, at Steve's house. It's never going to be her, she knows. Not here in Hawkins, but it still makes something ache deep inside her, like pressing on a bruise, but in a good way, seeing love happen to other people. People like her. Seeing that it can.
"So?"
Oh shit. Right, Dingus. They're about him right now. Something about this essay in particular freaked him out.
"Uh. It's. A nice essay? I'm glad things worked out for them?"
Stevie lets out a pathetic whine, sort of like back at Scoops when he earned a particularly bad tally on the You Suck board. "Robbiiiiiiieeeee!"
"I'm sorry! I think I'm missing something, what's wrong with this essay? I don't get it, bubba, I'm sorry. I need some context." She does feel bad. Usually she can pluck whatever's bothering him right out of his brain and into the light, where it almost never looks as bad, but she's at a loss right now.
He's got both hands over his face again, and his response is so muffled she can't make out a word.
"Try again in human sounds, please."
"Ugh! I thought everyone felt like that!"
Huh? "Felt like...what, exactly?"
"Like that!" He flails wildly at the pamphlet in her hands. He's sitting up now, hair all askew from tugging at it, and there's a vaguely worrying crazed look in his eye, like right before he tackled that guard. "Like kissing boys and girls both feel nice, and like seeing a handsome guy and feeling jealous of him makes my stomach flutter, and like having friends feels the same as having crushes! I thought that was just how everyone felt all the time!"
Oh.
Oh.
Oh no.
Poor Dingus! No wonder he panicked and ran here like a crazy person!
"Stevie, can I hug you? Please?" She's not much for physical touch most of the time, but Steve is, and also she's found in the last few months that she doesn't mind so much when it's him. She sort of understands why other people like hugs so much, if they always feel like hugging Steve feels for her. And she really thinks he needs to be hugged, right now.
He nods miserably. She drapes her arms around his shoulders and holds on as tight as she can, hauling him sideways until he's practically laying down on her. He clutches her back and buries his face in her shoulder. She can feel her neck getting wet with tears, a sensation that would normally make her want to claw off her own skin, but this isn't about her. Dingus needs her.
"It's ok, bubba. I'm so sorry. I know how scary this is. When I first figured out I had a crush on Linda Sanderson I cried so hard I threw up, you know? I get it. It's gonna be ok, I promise. We'll make it ok. We faced down evil Russians and giant meat monsters, what's a little sexuality crisis, huh? We got this! We're the goddamn Wonder Twins!"
He snorts at that, which she's pretty sure leaves snot on her neck, which. Ew. Still. Problems for Later Robin.
"We are not, Will and El are the Wonder Twins."
"Uh, nope, no chance, I barely even met them so therefore I am vetoing their application. Sorry kiddos, better luck next time! Find your own nickname, losers!"
Steve sits back, laughing, and she preens a little at being able to bring him back from the brink so easily. She loves him so much she feels like she's glowing with it, sometimes. It almost makes her wish she was straight, because what girl is she ever going to find who loves her this much? But only almost, because. Well. Girls, amiright? Phew.
"So what now, Stevie? You wanna say it out loud? That helps, sometimes. You wanna not say it out loud? You wanna go to a gay bar and find you a boy? You wanna never think about it again? It's totally your call."
"Say it out loud, huh?"
"Hm. It took me like a month, and then the first time I could only say it sitting in the back of my closet with the bedroom door locked and the closet door closed, and I could only whisper it. Just "I'm a lesbian," to myself, like the world's most ironic little goblin. And I had to throw up again after. But it did feel good, once I rinsed my mouth out, anyway. Cleansing, you know? And it gets easier every time." Steve's eyebrows are raised and he's chuckling again, so that's a win. She's not lying, but it is sort of funny, she supposes. In hindsight, anyway.
"Ok. Ok, I can do that. I think. Yeah, I can do that."
She's so proud of him. He's the bravest person she's ever met, she thinks. "You wanna get in the closet?"
"Isn't the whole point to come out of the closet, Robs?" He's smirking at her. Bastard. She whacks him in the shoulder on principle. He may be having a crisis, but he's still a jackass. Her favorite jackass in the whole world, but still.
"Har har, you're a regular Bob Hope. Alright then, bigshot, let's hear it."
A little of that fear creeps back onto his face, and she wishes she could wipe it off, but that's not how this works. They can't make the scary things less scary. He couldn't make the Russians less terrifying, but he could hold her hand and make her laugh and carry some of that fear with her. She can do that for him now, too.
She grabs his hand, and he clutches back tightly. He takes a deep breath.
"I'm...fuck. Ok. Ok, I can do this. I'm...bisexual." The air leaves him in a big whoosh, and he laughs a little. "Yeah, ok, fuck. I'm bisexual. Holy shit, Robbie, I'm bisexual!"
"Hell yeah you are!" She's grinning so hard her cheeks hurt. She's so fucking proud of him.
He's laughing again, a little hysterically, and he hugs her tight again, and she holds him back just as close and thinks oh, he's like me. I'm not alone. I have Steve, and he's like me, and he's mine forever and ever.
When they separate, she looks at him seriously.
"So do you, like, want this to be a thing? Because we can totally make it a thing, and like, get me a fake ID and go to a gay bar and do all kinds of wild shit if you want, but we don't have to, you know? If you need to just, like. Digest this, for a while. It's totally up to you, I just know it took me a while to feel ok with it, and I have no idea if it's different for you but I just want to be what you need, you know? You've been so good with me, and I've never had a queer friend before, so I don't know how, but I want to be just as good to you. You're my Dingus and I love you and I don't know how much of a gay guru I can be on account of, you know, I've never met any gay people besides me and the pretty lady at the bookstore but I couldn't even get real human words to come out of my mouth when I tried to talk to her so I don't think that counts, you know? But I still wanna help! Let me help!"
"Bobbie! Bobbie breathe, you're gonna pass out. I don't think I need a gay guru, I just need a gay best friend, and I have that, so I promise I'm good, ok? Promise. Also I love you too.”
She takes a deep breath, following his lead the way they worked out in the horrible days after Starcourt, when she couldn't sleep without him next to her, warm and alive and breathing, and even then she would wake up in the night with her breath coming short and her vision tunneling and Steve would hold her hand against his chest and breathe slowly, in and out, until she could follow him, and the world wasn't so terrible and scary and loud anymore.
She still thinks about that awful hour underground, thinking she was strapped to the corpse of a boy she never let become her friend, but Steve is always there now when she needs him, and he never complains when she grabs his wrist or puts her head on his chest to make absolutely sure that big, stupid heart is still beating.
When she's breathing normally again, he drops their joined hands down between them, toying idly with the chain linking her ring to her bracelet. "I think...I think I'm glad I said it, and I'm glad we talked about it, but can we maybe just...put it away, for a while? Like it's not...ugh. I guess this is kind of shitty to say, so like, hit me if you want, I guess, but I kind of don't think it matters right now?"
"No no, that makes perfect sense! Like, you still like girls, right?" He nods. "And you don't like. Have a crush on any boys right now. Or do you? Oh man if you do you have to tell me though, it's platonic soulmate law. It's in the bylaws, Steve, don't make me soulmate fine you!"
He laughs and shoves her face away. "Jesus, Rob, no! I don't have a crush on any guys, who would I even crush on in this town? We're not exactly swimming in eligible bachelors. I don't have a crush on anybody at all, I'd tell you, I swear. I know the rules!"
"Oh phew, good. You have to tell me when you do, though, I'm way excited to get you back for making fun of Tammy."
"It was the God's honest truth, Bobbie! She sings like a muppet!"
"Oh my god, shut up, Dingus! Ugh! As I was saying, you super duper have to tell me when you do, but for now, I think maybe you don't have to think about it really at all if you don't want. I mean, practically speaking, it's not really relevant to your everyday life, so we can totally revisit when that changes, but you don't have to like. Join a pride parade tomorrow, you know? You are you who are no matter what. You don't have to prove anything to anyone, especially not to me, not ever."
He leans his head on her shoulder, and she scritches her nails through his hair. It really has no right being as soft as it is, with the amount of hairspray he uses. It's frankly rude, is what it is.
"Thanks, Bobs. I think I'm just gonna put it away for now. It just...another thing to know about me, you know? Like, I'm bad at fighting people but good at fighting monsters, all my best friends are kids except you, I'm bi but it doesn't matter because there aren't any boys to date in Hawkins anyway. Plus my dad would kill me if he found out. Like actually kill me, not "oh geez I missed curfew, my dad's gonna kill me" type kill me, like I think he'd actually try and beat me to death. So there's really no reason to talk about it right now, you know?"
There's a pit of ice in her stomach, and she tightens her arm around him like she can keep him safe just by holding on tight enough. She hates how casually he said that, just like she hates how casually he always talks about how his parents treat him, like he honestly believes it's normal. "Jesus, Dingus. You know you can come here if you need, right? My parents love you, they already think we're getting married. They'd make you sleep in the guest room, but I could sneak you in here easy."
He snorts again. "We're totally gonna end up married for tax reasons anyway, we're never beating the rumors." That makes her snort, too. He's not wrong, though. She isn't going to be allowed to have a wife anytime soon, and if she has to choose someone to be her next of kin, it's always gonna be him. They're planning to move in together when she goes to school next year anyway. No one is ever gonna believe them that they aren't dating, but that's...fine. Honestly, there are worse things. Better to have Steve by her side than not, and if no one else understands them, well, they understand each other, don't they? That's more than enough.
"Yeah, I know I can come here if I need, Robs. It's fine mostly, I swear. They're not home until Christmas anyway."
He takes another deep breath, like he's settling himself. "I'm just glad we talked about it. I feel better now."
She cards her fingers through his hair again, basking in the feeling of her favorite person so close, and so content. "I'm glad, Dingus."
They're alive, and they're together, and they're queer, and neither of them is ever going to have to be alone again.
"Hang on, did you say you've kissed girls and boys?!"

Muzan X Little Sister Reader X Kokushibo Perfect Life
Warning-CRINGE
Things to know-your Muzans little sister and later Kokushibo’s wife and your power immense telepathy and telekinesis
Since I was born my big brother always wanted to be my caretaker. I was always adventurous but since my big brother has his condition I’d always stay inside with him so he wasn’t lonely. When I turned 17 I refused to leave his side due to his illness getting worse. But that was back when we were humans. My big brother ate our parents because of my beauty they wanted to put me in the entertainment district. It angered my brother and he murdered our WHOLE family. Since then it’s always been me in my brother. I love to read, write, listen to music, and make my own kimonos. I was snapped out of my thoughts when my brother called for me. “(Y/n).” “Yes big brother? Do you need anything?”he looked at me. “Get ready. I have some servants I want you to meet.” I smiled “yes as you wish big brother!” I picked out my favorite kimono I made (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/509962357778109192/) and made my way to my brother. He sat on his thrown (Muzan Kibutsuji - Demon Slayer StickerPinterest) “now that we are all here let’s begin.” I stood by his side and noticed a man with 6 eyes and the symbol 1. ‘Who was this? He seems to be just staring at me. Oh no! Am I bleeding? Did I start my period and get blood all over my dress? No that’s not right I’m supposed to start in 2 weeks. Oh! Do I smell? Or have something on my face?’ I was snapped out of my thoughts when my brother said “(y/n). This is upper moon 1 Kokushibo, upper moon 2 Douma, and upper moon 3 Akaza. For now they are the start of the 6 upper ranks. Therefore they are my most powerful ones.” I nodded. “Who’s that?” I pointed at a woman with a biwa. “She’s upper rank. 4 to be precise.” I was about to say something but my brother said “the meeting is dismissed. Feel free to turn those you find strong and powerful into demons. Or devour them. As long as you find the blue spider lily.” ‘The blue spider lily? Oh I read about it in a book! Why does brother need it so bad?’
-Time Skip-
I put on a different kimono (Kimono, Yukata and RuqunPinterest) I was walking around at night seeing the beautiful river flow. I know brother hates it when I’m by myself. But I like my freedom. There was a slight breeze slowly going back. I felt like someone was watching me. “Who’s there?” I saw Kokushibo. “Are you alright? You seem to be staring at me a lot. Did I do something wrong?” He looked away “here” he held a pretty barrette in his hand (Beaupretty Hair Stick Japanese Hair Accessories, Womens Girls Japanese Kimono Flower Hair Ornament Barrette with Tassel (Black) Hair SticksAmazon.com · In stock) it matched my outfit perfectly“is that for me? It’s beautiful!” I said he replied “a girl of your beauty deserves the finest things.” I blushed and put it in my hair “thank you. It was very kind of you.” I got closer. What was this feeling? He gave me a kiss. I went in for it. We were snapped out of it when I heard my brother. “What is going on here? Kokushibo! What is the meaning of this? Why are you near my sister?” Before he could say anything. “Brother please it’s love. I never felt this way before. Besides remember. he is upper one. Hasn’t he been faithful?” my brother sighed “fine I would allow it but if he breaks your heart, he is good as dust.”
-BIG TIME SKIP-
(New outfit Maternity Dress With Kimono - Shop on PinterestPinterest ) As time went on . I became pregnant. I was so excited. But my brother on the other hand. He was furious. “ what do you mean you’re pregnant?” I smiled and placed the hand on my stomach. “I’m having a baby with the man I love. Is that a problem?” For The first time, my brother snapped at me “leave! I no longer need you” I ran away and left my brother and Kokushibo.
-time skip-
I had found an abandoned cottage. (The cottage-A Village house PhotographyPinterest) by now I was heavily pregnant. (You Exploring images in the style of selected image: [Resting with ...PixAI) I decided to go inside. I was so tired. After all I’m 8 months pregnant with a baby girl. I felt her kick rapidly. “Sshhhh it’s okay.” I said as I rubbed my belly trying to comfort her. All the sudden my bedroom window bursted open. I started to cry as I saw Kokushibo standing there. “Why didn’t you tell me?” I cried more and said “brother kicked me out and I didn’t want you to suffer for me!” He sighed and pulled me into his arms. I put my head against his chest as he said “I’ve been looking for you. I missed you.” I looked up and said “I missed you too I’m so sorry.” He just held me in his arms and moved a hand on my belly and rubbed soothing circles. My. Our baby girl started to calm down inside me and nestled against my stomach walls against Kokushibo’s hand. He then said “I love you 2.” As I slowly fell asleep in his arms.
Time past and I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I named her Aya. Meaning beautiful/design/colorful/woven silk. But I picked the name cause she was beautiful. She had 6 eyes like her father. With my hair color. Aya was perfect in my eyes. I was wearing a new kimono I made when I was pregnant with her. It was stretchy and loose so I can be comfortable. (New outfit-Japanese Kimono Yukata Geisha Samurai Costume Costumes Japan ...Pinterest) I put Aya in (Newborn Infant Girls Spring Summer Long Sleeve Japanese Kimono Romper Jumpsuit Japanese Style Costume Twin DressesAmazon.com · In stock) the outfit I made for her. She was my precious flower. I held her close and thought about my brother. Me and Kokushibo were indoors hiding from the light. “Kokushibo? I want to see my brother.” He looked at me “are you certain?” I nodded and replied “I just want him to meet Aya.” He sighed “we will leave when the sun is down.” I smiled “thank you!”
As we prepared to leave I put Aya in her pajamas (Items similar to Baby Kimono with Japanese fabric , elephant print ...Pinterest) I smiled “you’re just so cute and beautiful! I love you my beautiful baby girl!” I said as I gave her kisses. She looked at Kokushibo and reached for him I giggled “you want your daddy?” She smiled as I handed her over to him. “Why do you trust me with her?” He asked I smiled “because you are her father she loves you! I’m gonna go get ready and then we could go!” I looked through all my kimonos. Which one should I wear. This one! (Decide on Women's Sexy Short Kimono Dress Floral Print Japanese Traditional Geisha Yukata Robe Bathrobe Skirt Belt OutfitAmazon · In stock) perfect! I grabbed Kokushibo and Aya.
-time skip-
“Brother, I’m home! There’s someone I want you to meet!” I heard brother “so you finally decided to visit?” I knew he wasn’t going to apologize. But in his own way, I saw sadness in his eyes. “This is Aya your niece.” My brother looked at her “ she looks like you minus the eyes. But in her own way I guess she’s beautiful.” I smiled. It’s gonna take time but I know. We are going to be a big happy family. Well small but it’s just right.
The end sorry for the cringe

No Longer You
this is the second chapter of the Underworld Saga (personally this was so much fun to write so I hope you enjoy!!!)
@thesfromhms @sombrathedragon @myfairkatiecat @imnotskyguy-remake @bookwormgirl123
@ham-cheese-toastie @justalunaticfangirl
Fitz kept staring at the spot where his mom had dissapered.
Come on, he urged himself. We need to find the prophet. Even so, Fitz seemed frozen in place.
His mom... Had died. Fitz was too late, again. Someone had died because of him, again.
A quiet sob escaped, but he sharply shook his head, wiping his eyes. He'd deal with that later. There were more important things to do.
"I am the prophet..." A voice sounded out from behind him. Fitz spun around, eyes darting quickly around for the source.
He landed on a girl with long, blonde hair and striking blue eyes. She almost looked like... no.
"Sophie?" Fitz's voice cracked horribly. No. No. No, no, no no. She couldn't be dead too.
The ghost smiled sadly. "No, she's alive. I'm Jolie." Well. That sent Fitz down another spiral. Grady and Edaline's daughter had died a few years before he was born, and her memory had hung like a weight around the couple until Sophie arrived.
No one had said anything about her being a prophet, though. The only ability she'd had that he was aware of was a conjurer.
At least Sophie was still alive.
Now that he looked closer, Jolie had tear stains running down her face and—Fitz did a double take. Were those burn marks?
"I see past and future running free..." Jolie looked mournful. "There is a world where I help you get home. But that isn't a world I know." Fitz's blood ran cold.
"What?"
Jolie ignored him. With her eyes closed, she looked so graceful, almost like a swan. "I see a song of past romance..." Her voice grew louder, like she was trying to drown him out. "I see betrayals... So many betrayals..." What could she mean? Who would betray him?
Jolie's eyes snapped open and she stared right at Fitz, unblinking. He wanted to move, step back, do anything but her gaze paralyzed him to the spot.
"I see you on the verge of death! I see you take your final breath!" Her head tilted slightly, and Fitz got the impression she was staring straight into his soul. "I see a man who makes it home alive, but he's no longer you."
Panic clogged Fitz's throat. "No!" He shook his head, refusing to believe her. Jolie kept staring at him, something almost like pity in her eyes. "We've suffered so, so much, and you say it was all for nothing?" A hot flash of anger slipped into his words, but he didn't care to reign it in. Not now.
Not when she'd just told him he was essentially doomed never to reach Ithaca.
"Your palace..." Jolie continued on like she hadn't heard him. "It's covered in men who thought you were dead."
She paused, and an indescribable emotion flickered over her face. Anger? Laughter? "I see your wife with a brutal man. A man with a trail of bodies..."
Fitz didn't even try to contain his rage. "Who??" he snarled. Sophie wouldn't do that, right?
But...
It had been twelve years. And a for a few of those, his telepathy had been restricted.
She had every right to think he was dead. She had every right to move on.
That didn't mean he liked it, though.
"I see a song of past romance!" Jolie's repeated, her voice getting desperately higher. "I see a brother's final stand!" She had a slightly crazed look in her eyes.
Fitz wanted to get out of here. As he moved to leave, Jolie's hand gripped his shoulder and stopped him.
"What?" He yelped, startled. Why wasn't she letting him go?
Jolie looked at him in the eye again. "I see a man who gets to make it home alive, but it's no longer you." Fitz didn't know if those words had a deeper meaning, but he didn’t want to spend time thinking about it.
She squeezed his shoulder, and her face softened with sadness. A small smile appeared, and she told him, "Say hi to my parents for me."
Fitz nodded, and Jolie—finally—released him. As he watched, she turned translucent and was carried away by the wind.
He shivered.

Powerpuff girls deserves the TMNT treatment where every iteration is wildly different from the last. Here ya go! Pulling inspiration from the original, reboot, and anime!
Before we start, I think I should state the most obvious and potentially controversial change: Buttercup's color isn't green.
I did this for three reasons: 1. It gives the girls the CMYK color scheme, 2. I thought it fit her dangerous but still 'girly' self more effectively, and 3. Her name is... Buttercup....
Ok back to your regularly scheduled notes!
Backstory:
In a world where superpowers are the next arms race, the government hired a small team of scientists working outside of Shichi, Japan to make superhuman soldiers. They agreed and so they, including one Professor Utonium (true name: unknown), bioengineered the triplet children of a young astronaut woman who wouldn’t be able to care for them. They injected her with a chemical concoction (including sugar, spice, everything nice, and the ever-mysterious Chemical X), manipulated some choice genes, and studied her thoroughly throughout her pregnancy.
As the months went by, the government became impatient for their weapons and displeased when they ended up being infants, scrapping the project and ordering the subjects to be killed. As Utonium had grown close to the woman (any romantic feelings went nowhere trust me), he stole the girls and ran away with them instead of killing them.
Luckily for him, Shichi had a large and often untracked orphan population. There, he would give the three children to an orphanage so they could hopefully be raised normally. The girls, named Bubbles, Buttercup, and Blossom (after their signature colors by Utonium) were adopted by separate families.
Bubbles was taken in by a young mlm couple who wanted another child and sibling for their older daughter, Beatrix “bunny”. Blossom was adopted by a rather strict perfectionist couple who couldn’t have children of their own but loved the idea of raising a child to become something great. Buttercup was in the system for much longer, either running away or getting lost at the age of 5 and being found by a couple with three children. They loved and adopted her soon thereafter.
It is by sheer luck that they all attend the same Junior High School (and in the same class at that). When their powers fully kick in on their twelfth birthday (days into the school year), they are rediscovered by Professor Utonium (as well as some less savory characters from their unknown past).
When Bunny goes missing, Bubble’s is sent on a vigilante path, coming across Utonium who tells her of her origins. She’s the one that finds and attempts to recruit her newfound sisters, to mixed reception.
Buttercup is ecstatic to be a superhero but Blossom declines, believing that her parents would kill her for putting herself in danger and throwing a wrench in her already incredibly busy schedule. She’s spent her whole life hiding what little powers she had (wearing tinted nonprescription glasses to hide her eyes and everything) and has no interest in parading around with them now. Little does she know she won’t have a choice for much longer.
There was another created much more successfully (though without the triplet telepathy): Bliss, who appears much older than the girls and is a local hero and celebrity. Her new mission is to hunt down her sisters in order to give them proper training to fulfill their purpose.
Powers:
The girls’ powers work differently to previous iterations.
1: They have always had some small amount of power (jumping higher and being just a little stronger than the average small child) but it kicks in fully when the girls turn 12
2: The girls can all fly, are exceptionally strong, fast, and durable, and can communicate telepathically (haha triplet telepathy).
3: They can each form a colored energy that they channel through their respective weapons (Ex: Bubbles can blow bubbles of energy, Buttercup can surround her boxing gloves for a melee attack, and Blossom can shoot tennis ball-like projections that are smaller but faster than Bubbles’ but require more precision and concentration)
4: They are fueled by emotion, with their eyes turning their respective color when their powers are activated, fading to brown/ black when calm or suppressed.
Speaking of their weapons, each one was an ordinary object made into a conduit when their powers kicked in. Bubbles was doing an amateur bubble show in a park, entertaining a group of small children, Buttercup was practicing boxing with her brothers (she is the only one with family in the know because of this), and Blossom was playing tennis against her best friend Robin (who jumped over the net to catch her falling).
Various Other Notes:
Their suits are plain, but I am fully convinced this is how Professor Utonium would design them. Don't worry, they'll spice them up later when they're a more fully formed team.
Bubbles would absolutely dress in Lolita whenever given the opportunity
Buttercup's younger brother is nicknamed 'Bullet'
Shichi is a combination of ‘Shiti’- city and ‘Ichi’- market/ town>> best equivalent I could come to for ‘Townsville’. If anyone that speaks Japanese has a better one, please let me know. Google was not my friend in this regard
I tried to find named for the girls in Japanese as well.... key word being 'tried'. I really want to keep their alliteration and tie them to their original names to keep them recognizable.
It's hard to tell since its just line art but Buttercup is wearing a black tank top under her jacket don't worry.
#ppg#ppgz#ppg fanart#ppg blossom#ppg buttercup#ppg bubbles#the powerpuff girls#Did I watch Elmushterri's video? Yes.

League Of Villains With S/O With Powers Like Buffy
Tomura Shigaraki X Reader, Dabi X Reader, Spinner X Reader, Mr. Compress X Reader, Twice X Reader
Requested: @supernatural-hunter1
Request: I’m thinking what if “Wednesday Addams” was a quirk?😅 and the LOV members (including spinner, and Mr. compress. I feel bad for leaving those two out?🥺) had a S/O who’s quirk is a “Wednesday Addams” quirk?🤣 or a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” type quirk that a pretty cool too?😁
Tomura Shigaraki
🖐 Shigaraki had only met you because of All For One. Given the abilities that you showed, he could see you becoming an integral part of keeping the plan on track. 🖐 The first time that you talked was probably when you advised him on what to do on one of his games, not only were you smart but you knew how to apply that too, something he wouldn't appreciate until later though. 🖐 You became the only person that he would trust and actively try to protect when you were out doing things. 🖐 Your abilities made things far easier for him, you were telepathic and unbelievably smart because of it, he’d look to you when he met someone new, you were the one who decided who he could trust.
Tomura sat at the bar, he had a drink sitting in front of him, you saw the door open before he did and gently nudged him, directing his attention to Giran “he’s got applicants.” You muttered. “Nothing gets past you.” Giran smirked as he stopped to the side showing a young girl and a male in his 20s who was badly scared. “Toga and you like to be called Dabi.” You said. “How do you know that?” Dabi asked, you shrugged as you leaned back into the bar. “Telepathy.” You finally said. “Stay out of my head.” Dabi ordered and you looked at him and rolled your eyes. “But I already know everything that you don’t want me to, T.” You teased. “Tch.” His hand shot out flames encasing it, Tomura grabbed you pulling you into your arm pulling you towards his chest, wrapping his arm around your waist carefully to make sure that his little finger didn’t touch you while his other hand shot out towards Dabi’s arm. Kurogiri was quick to open portals to stop either one of them from damaging anything. “Alright so I’m not fond of him but can we keep her, she’s cute.” You said as you pointed at Toga. “They’re both joining.” Tomura muttered. “Both of them.” You whined and he rolled his eyes as you settled yourself on his lap “if you're sure.” “I’m sure.” He muttered. “Stay close to me when he’s around.” “Sure thing Tomu.” You smiled, pressing a kiss to the underside of his jaw ignoring the two new recruits in the bar.
Dabi
🔥 You met Dabi after he left home, he saw you in the middle of a deal, one that you knew was going to go badly, you managed to take a gang of 20 people by yourself. Dabi caught the last one before he could get the drop on you and that was where the friendship started. 🔥 You were pretty close but he never asked you to join the league with him, he just told you that he was going to be away for a while and that you should call him if you needed him. 🔥 You ended up being the one that saved him when they suffered their loss after kidnapping Bakugo. 🔥 Dabi recognised you immediately and while some of the others knew of you none of them knew what you were doing there.
You grabbed the first guy that ran at you, you easily grabbed him around the neck and snapped it. “What are you doing here?” Dabi asked as he stopped Shigaraki from moving towards you. “Was I supposed to let them come over and attack you?” You asked. “You could have just called.” Dabi smirked as he walked towards you, you kicked another guy away stabbing one straight through the eye. “Should I just go?” You asked, your attention turning to him, the rest of the gang members took it as an opportunity to get the drop on you, however Dabi’s hand pushed out over your shoulder burning them before they got too close. “Admit it you missed me.” He said softly as he leaned closer to you pressing his face dangerously close to yours. “Did you miss me?” You asked, he only smirked but he knew that you could hear the thought run through his head ‘Sweetheart you have no idea.’ “Say it.” “Dabi, who is this?” Shigaraki’s voice sounded reminding you both that you weren’t alone. “A friend.” He answered. “Oh a friend.” You nodded to yourself as you waved into the air turning to leave “there isn’t anyone else coming for you, rest easy.” “Don’t be petty.” Dabi muttered as he grabbed your wrist before you could walk away. “You were closer than friends get Dabi.” Compress said as he walked over to shake your hand. “Tch.” Dabi grunted as you both made your introductions. “So you're just friends?” Toga asked as you looked at Dabi. “Stop.” Dabi ordered. “Well I’ve got my own plans to be getting on with until next time League.” You turned leaving the warehouse, you turned back blowing a kiss at Dabi before you were gone for good while the rest of his team mates began to ask questions.
Spinner
🦎 You met when you were kids, when he was still looking for friends, you fought off the bullies that tried to hurt him, you stuck by him no matter what and that continued into later life. 🦎 He kept you apart from his villain life for a little while, you knew where he went and what he did but you were never involved until the League needed somewhere to stay that wasn’t a warehouse. 🦎 He asked you before he showed up with them but none of them knew that you existed. 🦎 He knew that you could handle yourself but he didn’t want to bring trouble to your door if he didn’t have to, considering how much he loved you.
You were humming to yourself when the loud thoughts entered your mind, you knew that Spinner had brought his friends in through the back of the large house that you had inherited from your parents. You wiped your hands on the front of your clothes before walking out of the kitchen “Thought you got lost or something.” You smirked as Spinner appeared around the corner followed by the friends he had told you about. “There were more heroes around then I thought there would be.” Spinner shrugged and you nodded. “Yeah, you guys made an impression.” You shrugged as you pointed at the stairs, “there’s rooms on the third floor, they’re all empty, you can take whatever ones that you want.” “How do you know Spinner?” Toga asked and you looked at him. “You didn’t tell them?” You asked. “Well…” “We’re dating.” You answered “food will be ready soon so pick a room and let me know if you need anything.” Spinner followed you into the kitchen where you continued cooking. “I assume everything is okay.” He said as he stood behind you, arms crossed. “Things are fine.” You nodded, you could still feel the rest of the league standing in the hallway. “Your friends think very loudly, Shu.” Spinner turned to the door of the kitchen where he caught Twice and Toga looking in. “Well since you're still there Shigaraki, I need to ask you something!” You called. “Mm.” The hum from the leader of the group prompted you to talk. “Chisaki, what are your plans for him?” You asked. “What does it matter to you?” He asked. “Well the quirk I have is tailored to a certain type of work, you may have heard of my family, they were often referred to as the slayers, we killed whoever we were told provided that we were paid enough, government, villains, crime organizations it didn’t matter.” You wiped your wet hands after washing the vegetables. “Chisaki hired my family to kill someone for him and once it was done he killed my parents, I want him dead so I ask you what are your intentions for Chisaki?” “I intend to find out what this new weapon is, steal it and then make him pay for what he did to the other members.” Shigaraki answered. “Then I think I can give you more than just a place to stay.” You said. “Spinner, you never told us that you had an assassin girlfriend.” Toga complained. “It was none of you business.” Spinner muttered as he watched you make your deal with Shigaraki ‘she’s mine.’ he thought. ‘Yours.’ you answered in his head causing him to smile slightly.
Mr. Compress
🔮 You and Compress had been together long before you joined the league so your act was second nature by that point. 🔮 You drew attention from him while he did whatever he was doing in the background, you trusted him to have a way out and he trusted you to cover him until he did. 🔮 Compress relied on you and your abilities more than even you did, he trusted that you would stop him from doing anything that would result in his death. 🔮 He fully appreciates that you are one of the only reasons that he’s still alive and intact but he loves you with everything that he has and one day he’d repay you.
You had seen this before, it was a dream you had last night in your dream Hiro lost his arm. No one saw you move but Kai felt you kick him away from his target “How dare you touch me!?” Kai seemed to lose his composure for a second as he looked at you. “You don’t get to take everything from us… You said that you came here to talk so talk or leave.” You ordered, your hands on guard as you waited. “What do you know?” Shigaraki asked. “No much I just know that he’s able to destroy anything that he touches, I doubt that’s the extent of his quirk but that’s the only element that he plans to use here.” You explained. “His intentions?” Shigaraki asked. “He wants you to meet him on his terms before he’ll discuss what he wants, he’s good at shielding his mind, I’m sure he knew of me before he came here.” You explained. “She is better than they told me.” Kai said as he held out a piece of paper “meet me here, we’ll talk then.” When no one stepped forward to take the paper he placed it on the floor and left. Shigaraki walked over to the paper while Hiro came up behind you. “Relax, dear it’s over now.” He said softly, his hands gently moving yours down “another dream?” “Mmm.” You hummed as you turned to him and ran your hands down his arms before linking your hands together. “What happened?” You asked. “You lost your arm, he destroyed it.” You said running your fingers over his knuckles “and I don’t doubt that you’d look absolutely breathtaking with a metal arm, I would like to keep the original for as long as possible.” “I’d like that too.” He said lifting his mask to press a kiss to your forehead. “Thank you.”
Twice
🎭 Twice met you in the league, you fascinated him because you always knew what he was going to say before he said it, you trusted him before anyone else did and you always looked out for him. 🎭 You often silenced his mind long enough for him to have a thought of his own, he hated it when you weren’t around and always worried that he was more of a nuisance that clung to you than anything else. 🎭 He thought that you were magic whenever you predicted what would happen later that day, even when you explained that it was part of your quirk. 🎭 He trusted everyone and you trusted no one, you kept an eye on him and kept him safe from anyone who wanted to betray him.
Your dream showed you Jin’s death and you weren’t going to let that happen especially not by the hands of someone like Hawks, you waited in the dark room as Hawks led Jin in, you waited, you saw him lift the feather over his head and you darted out knocking the feather away and stabbing him in the shoulder “not that great of a spy are you?” You asked. “You… Knew…” He breathed. “I’m pretty good at pretending too.” You pulled the blade out of his shoulder and attempted to stab him again. Hawks caught your hand this time and you looked at him and smirked. “Twice! Go now!” You ordered. “I can’t leave you here.” He said as he reached forwards, you kicked Hawks away and turned to him. “I won’t be alone for long, but they need you out there to get the battle back on track so go and do your job and I’ll meet you on the other side I promise.” You smiled. “On three you go and I’ll keep him occupied.” “But-!” “Jin, I will be there once this is done.” You promised pressing a kiss to his forehead, after a quick countdown you turned in time to grab Hawks and kick him into the far back corner of the room holding him down. Jin escaped the room. “You're willing to die for him?” Hawks asked. “I’m willing to kill for him.” You corrected. “(Y/N) move.” Dabi ordered as you rolled out of the way of his attack. “Go.” “Yes sir.” You mock saluted him as you hoped over the side of the bannister onto the second floor of the building, you moved for the stairs finding your way to Compress, Toga and Twice. “You’re okay!” Twice called as he ran over to you looking over your body. “I’m okay, I promised after all.” You smiled “Dabi is dealing with the traitor now. Let’s get to work, we’ve got heroes to get rid of.” “Right!” Toga and Twice cheered as you adjusted your grip on the bloody knives in your hands ready for whatever came next.

hello :) how are you ? i saw that you followed me, thank you by the way ! may i request a adhd!reader x thomas fanfic please ? They have a telepatic link together. She is mejack. Being in the glade wasn't easy for her because of the works, she needed to focus and being fast and it exhausted her also some gladers wasn't very nice to her so one day she has a ouburst and yell across the glade. Thomas her boyfriend was the first to comfort her.
sorry for my english im french
Hey! I'm doing pretty well, ty for asking
Yeah I looked at your page and saw maze runner, teen wolf, and taylor, so I absolutely had to follow ❤
Thanks for the request, I hadn't gotten to explore the telepathy thing from the books in my fics yet, so that was fun to write. Hope you enjoy!
Calm and Storm
Thomas x adhd!fem!reader
Set during tmr (movieverse)
Notes: I am not personally close with anyone with ADHD, so representation of ADHD in this fic is completely research-based, like my fic Tides which had an autistic reader. Let me know if anything should be changed.
More notes: I also added an emotional empathy-type bond on top of the telepathy thing. Canon divergence where Thomas is in the Glade for at least a few more weeks before everything happens i.e. Teresa coming, the Grievers attacking, all the stuff. it happens later.
Warnings: language, minor injuries, some asshole men and suggestive comments, I feel like it's not written that well :( hopefully it's ok
You remember the first time you met Thomas.
"And in here, we've got the Medjacks." Newt's voice floated in from the entrance.
You'd missed seeing the Box come up, cause one of the Gladers was sick and needed to be watched.
You turned and smiled at the new boy. "Hey, I'm Y/n."
You're a girl, you heard.
"You've got some stellar observation skills there," you said, smirking.
Thomas had looked surprised, and Newt looked between the two of you, confused.
"Uh- Y/n, what?"
...did Newt not hear what the Greenie said?
"Um... anyway, you here for a crash course on Medjacks?" You decided to just continue and skip over that weird exchange.
Little did you know that was the first of many telepathic conversations to come.
You found out about your mental link with Thomas the next night.
When he was stuck in the Maze with Minho, you'd called out to him in your mind, and been stunned when he responded.
After confusedly realising that you clearly had some sort of mental connection, you stayed up all night talking to him and supporting him.
Holy shit, I just killed a Griever
What the shuck? How is that even possible?
I ran and baited it until it was crushed between the walls.
You must've looked pretty strange that night, alone in the Medjack hut making hand gestures and facial expressions to nobody, and pacing around the room restlessly.
What're you doing now?
I'm with Minho, we need to get back to Alby.
Okay. Stay with me, alright? Just keep updating me.
Sure, oh- ohhhh shit!
What? What happened?
I just heard another Griever, I don't think I can kill another one, holy shit, what do we do-
Thomas! Calm down. Breathe. Focus on my voice.
Minho- Minho's saying something.
Okay, good, just follow him.
Shitshitshitshitshit
You realise you can feel emotions through the bond too, and Thomas' fear is spiralling straight into you.
Thomas?
Yeah, I'm here. Just say anything. Tell me about anything, just distract me.
Okay, you keep following Minho alright?
Yeah yeah, just talk to me so I don't hear the Grievers as much.
You got it.
You try to channel your own emotions too.
Hey, when you get back, I can ask Frypan to make pancakes.
There's pancakes in this place?
Only for special occasions. We put the good fruits on them and everything.
You mentally push as much comfort as you can through the bond. It feels weird, and you don't know if it works, until-
Hey, Y/n, is that you?
What?
I can feel like... calmness, or something. Are you doing that?
Shucking hell, it actually worked.
You just keep talking all through the night.
When he gets back, the two of you sort through how the bond works.
Basically, you can talk to each other through telepathy, and also send emotions through sometimes.
Usually, the emotions won't go if you don't push them across on purpose.
But, if it's strong enough, like Thomas' fear from that night, it'll be felt by the other person.
Having that bond brings you closer to Thomas, and before you know it you're practically attached at the hip.
You trade little jokes with each other during meetings and meals, and sometimes you chat while you're working.
⭒----⭒
It's a few weeks after Thomas arrives in the Glade that you start dating.
Boys had always tried to hit on you, cause you know, you're shuckin' pretty (and also hot, obviously), but you were never interested in any of them.
Until Thomas.
You started crushing on him when you became friends and got to know him better.
He makes you laugh, and his smile is intoxicating, and he has an insane knack for remembering the little things you mention in conversation.
Things you'd only mention once, for half a second, like bringing up the little flower garden by the lake.
But he still remembers.
And that's how he confessed his feelings to you.
You can still feel the nervousness coursing through the bond from him as he handed you a bundle of white flowers, smiling shyly.
Then you felt joy, both his and yours when you told him you liked him too, and you had your first kiss.
⭒----⭒
Aside from casual conversation and sharing emotions, the connection also helps you a lot, cause Thomas can feel when your frustration seeps through the bond, and he can come over to look after you.
As a Medjack, the work isn't always the best - sometimes it feels like you're fighting your own brain to do your job.
Most of your work includes sitting at a table in the Medjack hut and repetitively making cures for various ailments and injuries.
You often feel restless sitting at that desk, finding it hard to force yourself to stay seated and focus on the task.
That's not to say you're bad at your job.
You make the most effective hangover cures the Glade has ever seen, and you can bandage a wound faster than both Jeff and Clint.
You just hate doing one thing for too long.
Oftentimes you'll impulsively switch to rolling bandages halfway through mixing fever medicine, or you'll be constantly fidgeting during the Medjack segment of council meetings.
Essentially, being a Medjack can be a lot sometimes.
Like today.
Most of the Gladers are good guys, but there's still a few that you loathe to treat.
There's a Builder, Derek, a grade-A asshole who can never stop sending you that smarmy, suggestive grin and making obscene comments about you and Thomas, as well as outright insulting your work.
Unfortunately, Derek is clumsy as klunk, and is always getting cut up on sharp pieces of wood.
He thinks being littered with scars is cool, and wears his stupid shirt with the sleeves obnoxiously cut off, because apparently having scratched up arms from being unable to stay on a ladder is a good look that must be shared with the world. (or just wear a singlet bro, you didn't have to cut up a t-shirt).
Anyways, Derek is once again injured, and is yelling at the Medjack hut from where he and another Builder are working on the council hall.
"Oi! Can we get some help over here? People are injured!" His grating voice cuts through the peace of the hut.
Clint looks up in concern. "Shuck, must be bad. Y/n, let's go take a look."
You take a breath to steady yourself. You've had a rough day already, dealing with some difficult Gladers, and having to treat Derek might just push you off the edge.
Plus, you only got like, two hours of sleep last night, so you're pretty exhausted.
You gather some supplies and rush out of the hut to where Derek is waiting.
He's sitting calmly on a rock, legs visibly uninjured.
Even Clint's annoyed at this point. "Couldn't've even walked to the hut?" he mutters.
There's blood dripping from Derek's shoulder, which; how do you even get injured there.
Medjacks treat all patients with care, you tell yourself, gritting your teeth.
"I'll take Derek, you take care of John," says Clint, clapping a hand on your shoulder. He leaves to grab a needle for stitches.
You nod gratefully; Clint's probably remembering your many rants about Derek in the huts.
You carefully examine John's sprained wrist, grabbing supplies to make a brace before bandaging the injury.
"Hey Y/n," calls Derek. "Any chance you can hurry up with that? I need some help here."
Clint must be stuck in the hut with something.
"Just. Wait." you say stiffly, through clenched teeth.
At this point, you're about one more comment away from taking a swing at Derek.
You feel your anger start to build as Derek steps closer.
Y/n?
Shuck, you're mad enough to alert Thomas.
It's fine, you send back.
"Seriously?" Derek's leaning over John's wrist right now, inspecting your brace. "It's just a sprain. How is this taking so long?"
"Dude, back off," says John.
You ignore Derek despite being ready to punch him. "You should ask Frypan for ice later," you tell John. "Don't work for at least the rest of the day okay? I'm gonna bandage it now."
"That's how you're leaving the brace?" Derek stares down at your work.
"Look, do you wanna do it?" you huff, before berating yourself for giving in and speaking to him.
"I guess your hands are busy doing other things for Thomas to practice doing actual medical work."
You stand abruptly, hands clenched furiously.
"What is your problem?" you exclaim. "Just shut the fuck up and leave me alone!"
"Woah there," says Derek, laughing a little. "Chill out girly."
You're actually seething by now, and-
Y/n!
What.
Hey, you're okay. What's wrong?
Nothing. It's fine.
You can almost hear him sigh half-fondly and half-exasperatedly through the bond. I'm comin' out of the Maze now. I'll be at the hut in two minutes.
"Uh- hello?" Derek waves his hand in your face.
You shove his hand away before bending to bandage John's wrist.
"Finally," says Derek when you're done. "Can you do my shoulder now?"
"No," you say flatly. "It's a minor cut. You can wait for Clint."
"Hey, I'm pretty sure it's your responsibility. I'd prefer to wait for Clint, too, but I-"
"Shucking hell, enough!" you shout, voice rising quickly. "Can't you just leave me alone, you piece of klunk! God, you're always looking for someone to bother, finding some way to annoy someone. What, do you just want attention? Please just get out of my face."
The Glade seems frozen, with people looking up from their work to watch.
Then a soft voice breaks the silence. "Hey," says Thomas. He comes up behind you and gives you that signature grin.
"Derek, a pleasure as always." He flips him off with one hand, using the other to take your hand, and you let him lead you into the Medjack hut.
"Clint," says Thomas. "There's a dickhead outside who needs stitches. Is it okay if you..."
"Oh shuck, sorry." Clint grabs the needle and thread he'd initially come in from. "Got distracted," he explains.
You snort. "I get that."
Clint leaves, leaving you and Thomas alone.
You take a seat on one of the beds, and he sits facing you in a stool.
He gently kicks out a leg, nudging you in the shin.
"You alright?" he asks.
"Yeah," you say. "Just- you know."
"Just what?"
You sigh, scrubbing your face with a hand. "That was embarrassing."
Thomas looks at you incredulously. "Are you kidding? Everything you said was more than valid. Derek's just a horrible person, don't let him make you feel embarrassed."
"Yeah... but everyone was watching."
"I'd watch too. I'd watch the strongest, coolest, prettiest person in the Glade ripping into this sorry excuse for a human."
You huff out a laugh at his dramatics. "Thanks."
"Hey, c'mon." Thomas pulls you into a hug, before pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"Wanna have dinner in the flower field today?"
"I'd love that," you reply, grinning.
Heyy I'm loving the diversity of readers in my asks lately. Thanks for sending this one ❤❤
Also, I know my tense is messed up in this one. I usually write in present but idk this one's just funky. Hope it was alright.
In general I'm a little unsure about how this fic turned out, I feel like the writing wasn't really good. This weekend was pretty hectic and I didn't get in the flow of writing :((( idk I hope it was still an enjoyable fic.
Anyway, is asshole Derek based on someone I know? nope just an oddly specific OC. in other news I have a family friend I always have to see at get togethers who loves making his furniture from scratch and can never stay safe while making his fucking chairs and lets us know proudly every time he has to go to the ER. he's a douche not a misunderstood hot guy trust me on that

Why Alvar hates his family + the Vacker Legacy.
the Vacker Legacy is basically you date someone who would benefit your family and giver HER ability to their children. Alden pushed Keefe to date somebody else because if Sophie and Fitz has a kid, there is a possibility of them having enhanced telepathy. If Ruy was a girl, and was straight, then Alvar could date Ruy with no problems.
but Ruy is a guy.
Alvar is a guy.
the Vacker legacy never had a gay relationship because the family needs to grow with powerful children.
so when Alvar came out as Bisexual and Fintan started the Neverseen, Alden didn’t support Alvar so he and Ruy both ran away to the Neverseen.
Alvar is scared that Biana and Fitz both don’t support him so he decided to hate his entire family and made a goal to sabotage the Vacker Legacy.
big Elysian spoiler? 😏
how did you get ahold of my drafts
