Hi, I just read your dating Zsasz work and really like it, would you like to write one about dating Oswald? Fem!Reader please.
Thanks in advance :) 💜
How You Started Dating Oswald Cobblepot
The Penguin x Fem!mooney!Reader
Summary: the title is pretty self explanatory. The reader is just a sweet and soft girl who gets tied up with the infamous Penguin
Warnings: jealousy, mommy issues, not proof read
Masterlist
A/N: I changed it slightly but I’ll make another one where it’s exactly like Zsasz’s headcannons. I’m sorry! I just started did like this and got invested in my own story. I PROMISE I WILL MAKE A SEQUEL ABOUT HOW IT IS LIKE
You met Oswald when he was working for your aunt, Fish Mooney. You were there assisting your aunt with the club and waitressing
You knew about her ties to the mob but you weren’t involved at all, you were just there to serve drinks
You were always fond of the strange man carrying your aunts umbrella and always put yourself in situations where you could talk to him (like ‘accidentally’ bumping into him or giving him messages for your aunt)
You also noticed his suspicious behaviour and quickly caught on to his traitorous behaviour but never told your aunt
Oswald also took a liking to you because you were never rude to him and that’s why when your aunt went missing and he was in charge of club, he kept you as a waitress
You would always smile when you saw him and also greeted him with a friendly smile, he had no idea why you would put yourself in this dangerous position of working for a mobster
He also get suspicious of you as you must know that he is the reason for Fish’s disappearance by now but you don’t say anything and still act your same sweet self
You even gave him advice about his limp
Even after he didn’t talk to you after he became the ‘King of Gotham’ and then he was put into Arkham for murder, you still went to visit him
“Hello Oswald,” You greeted as the cowering man limped into the small meeting room, “or is it Penguin now?”
“Y/N?” He was shocked, “w-what are you doing here?”
“Isn’t it obvious?” You giggle sweetly, “I’m here to see you! I head about your mother’s passing and it hit me that you may have no one here to visit you.”
No one has ever been so kind or thoughtful to Oswald since his mother died and he even had to hold back tear of joy
You visited him once a week after that
He spoke quietly to you about what they were doing to him in Arkham
When he was released he visited you at your apartment and he even hugged you as he smiled
You knew straight away something was wrong with your dear friend
After he was reunited with his father, he rang you nearly once a day telling you about all the great stuff that was going on for him and you would smile and tell him how great that is (you would never mention how your short on money or how to may be living on the streets soon)
When you heard the rumours about the investigation at Arkham you ran to the Police station to tell Gordon all you knew about what they did to Oswald (who knew nothing about what you were doing)
Of course Harvey and Jim were suspicious of you being aquatinted with Penguin and why you were telling them all this but they needed this information
Skip to when Oswald is running for Mayor
He learnt about your living situation and quickly moved you into his mansion
He was also so kind to make you his assistant
You also came acquainted with Ed Nygma and Butch, they both enjoyed your company as well since yuh were always genuinely kind to them
You did what ever you legally could do to help Oswald (you stuck posters up all around the city, handed out pins on different city blocks, helped him with speeches and poster designs)
When he finally became mayor, you brought Oswald into a big hug and kissed his cheek
“You did it Ozzy!” You smiled and jumped with excitement.
“I know!” He smiled, “Thank you so so much Ed in believing in me.”
It hurt you to see him thank only Ed for only taking back the money, you didn’t care that Ed was made a higher position than you (he was smarter and more cunning than you and is willing to do illegal things)
You believed in Oswald since the start and worked hard in the campaign but you just got pushed out the way
Butch noticed you anger and approached you with his plan if the gang doing a shooting. You politely declined in your involvement in it but did not tell anyone
You have helped him since the beginning
You never hate people, it’s not like you, but the way Oswald was treating Ed and he was forgetting about you
You learnt about Oswald’s little crush quickly (you knew this man inside and out) and you knew it was going to lead to Ed’s demise
But the thing is you were wrong
The crush led to your closest friend dying
You grieved your lost for weeks. It was during this time you realised your feeling for him were not platonic feelings but something else
You were overjoyed when you were reunited with the fully alive Oswald and learnt that Ed was frozen
You made an effort in telling Oswald that you love him without actually telling him but he didn’t catch on
EVEN ZSASZ CAUGHT ON
“Why don’t you just tell him?” Zsasz asked. You were both sat at the same table (you were watching Penguin talk to some low-life and Zsasz was cleaning his weapons. He obviously didn’t really care about us together, he probably has either a bet or is sick of watching me pine.
“Because I can’t just tell him!” I groan,
“What if we make him tell you?” Zsasz smirks mischievously as he shuffles closer to you, “gotta make him jealous.”
“Victor. Last time he got jealous he killed someone,” You give him deadpanned look.
So you end up taking Zsasz’s advice and starting flirting with people in front Penguin
He was visibly getting annoyed but you couldn’t tell if it’s because he had feelings for you too or something else
“Why do you on flirt with people in front of me?” He asks, his voiced laved with anger.
“What?” I ask with fake confusion.
“You only flirt with people when you know I’m there!” He accuses.
“What is it to you?” I roll my eyes from my normal seat on the sofa in his office
“What is it to me?” He repeats, “I lo- I just don’t enjoy watching you flaunt yourself around! It’s not like you.”
“Why do you even care, Oswald?” I sigh, my voice raising to match his anger and volume.
“I care because I love you Y/N!” He shouts.
You froze when his said this for a split second before you raced towards him and pulled him into a kiss, my hands on his cheeks
You told him you loved him to

Where We Started
Fandom: Gotham Pairing: Victor Zsasz x Male!Reader Summary: Oswald had vocalised how much he had to go to an old friend and establish dominance, Victor was expecting a bit more, not a sweet looking man wearing a sweater and innocently reading a book. Word Count: 1,543 Request: “Hey, I LOVED your first Gotham piece and was wondering if I could request something with Victor Zsasz? I was thinking maybe something, where the reader is a store owner or something and Oswald, comes in with Victor after he first takes over to tell the reader that now he's in charge, and the reader goes along with it, but kind of teases/is sassy towards Oswald and Zsasz thinks it's funny and plays along, maybe visiting him w/o Oswald later and asking him out? Thank you so much for all that you do!” A/n: anything for my bby victor
The doorbell rang of the bookshop, alerting you had customers.
Not that you were bothered by it, you hardly had anyone actually buy books from you, most of the time you were running some black market stuff underground. Most of the time, your days are full of quietness, a book in your hand whilst nursing a steaming hot coffee.
With faint threats, gunshots and wails of pain downstairs. You had employers downstairs for you to sell them for you, you were merely the supplier and the owner, the one to find things for customers. You make a lot of money, with your phone constantly ringing for a job, ringing for a certain material needed.
Most times, you could trust the people who worked for you to sell them for the price you specifically said. Whenever the buyer disagrees, they would call up onto the upstairs phone for you, so you were oh so familiar to blood on your hands.
You know empty threats, you could look at a man in the eye and would not hesitate to put a bullet between their eyes. You have seen regular buyers, knowing never to cross you because you were the best dealer in Gotham. Quick and efficient, other than sometimes your pricing could be outrageous.
You weren’t fazed at many men coming out of your book store satisfied or bloody. But, today, you had closed your little illegal shop, for now, you had been waiting for an old friend to arrive, as you sit on your little stool by the cashier, with a book in your hand - ignoring the two men who were looming over you.
“(Y/n).”
“Busy.”
There was a sigh, you had to hold yourself from smiling as you flipped your page, tilting your head to the other side as you continue to read.
“(Y/n).”
“Hey boss, he just said that (Y/n) was busy, maybe next time?”
“Victor shut up,” You flicked your eyes at the two men as Oswald noticed your attention was on him. He straightens himself as he cleared his throat, “(Y/n)-”
“Need a cough drop?” You asked, interrupting Oswald, who’s lips thinned clearly annoyed with your childish acts, “Your throat seems like it needs it.”
Victor started to smile, he liked tagging along with Oswald, he got to meet a lot of interesting people and kill some of the most innocents. Oswald had vocalised how much he had to go to an old friend and establish dominance, Victor was expecting a bit more, not a sweet looking man wearing a sweater and innocently reading a book.
Though he did find you interesting, you weren’t afraid to poke fun at the Penguin.
“No, I don’t need a cough drop,” Oswald scowled as you raised an eyebrow, “Listen, I have Gotham at my fingertips, I rule Gotham.”
“I don’t have a cake to congratulate you, Oswald,” You informed him, you noticed how Oswald shifted his balance off his foot to his cane, you watched him open his mouth again before you interrupted him again, “I do have muffins though, congrats Cobblepot on ruling Gotham once again.”
You lifted a plate of muffins from underneath the desk, Victor reached over to grab one before Oswald slapped his hand. Looking at you unimpressed, you chuckled at your friend and shook your head.
“Alright, alright, let the man have a muffin at least and I will listen to whatever you have to say.”
You push the plate towards them as Victor slowly reaches over Oswald’s shoulder, who lets out an exasperated sigh. Victor smirks, nodding his thanks towards you as you smile right back at him. He always had a sweet tooth as Oswald bangs his cane on your wooden floors.
“You know what you’re doing is illegal, (Y/n).”
“Reading?” You questioned.
“No!” Oswald had to breathe for a second, “Your illegal trading market down in the basement, it has to go.”
“Yeah,” You shut your book, “No can do, bossman, it’s how I scam people in giving me the money.”
“Yes, I know that-”
“And I’ve heard you’re licencing a crime thing?” You wondered as Oswald meets your question gaze, “I supply your weapons for free, Oswald, without me I’m shutting down the best dealing of weapons, drugs, organs, and whatever. And you know where they’ll storm off to once they hear?”
Oswald didn’t look amused at you, you licked your lips, shrugging your shoulders innocently.
“I mean, your hitman here could be supplied with some fucking cool shit,” you expressed as Victor grinned with his mouth full of muffin.
“Yeah, boss, I get the best weapons for killing people for you.”
Oswald looks at Victor, offended that even his own hitman had turned against him. Oswald scoffed, shaking his head as he points to you.
“I like you (Y/n) but have to stop with the teasing,” You chuckled, as Victor looked over to you, as Oswald drops his hand down onto the desk, “I’ll have a licence delivered to you for murder and selling.”
“See! That wasn’t hard,” You teased as you leaned against the desk, as Oswald sends you a warning glance.
He likes you a lot, but there were times you just pushed his buttons all at once. You grinned at him as Victor looked between you and Oswald, he felt like a kid on Christmas when he heard you’d be getting his new guns.
You looked over to him, “You’re Victor Zsasz, correct?”
“Yeah, that I am,” Victor spoke, puffing his chest out as Oswald rolls his eyes.
“Well, I’ll make sure to get you the finest of things them Mr Zsasz,” You nodded to him before looking over to Oswald, “Check out Barbara Kean, would you?”
“I thought she was dead,” Oswald gapes at you as you shrugged.
“Well, I heard she’s open an armoury, so get on that.”
“Threatened?” Oswald challenged, a playful grin towards you as you scoffed, “Well, we must be off, thank you for your consideration (Y/n).”
“No, thank you for gracing my shop with your ever presence, king of Gotham.”
Victor snickers as Oswald glares at Victor, who tilts his head with a smile on his lips, amused with your words. His hands up on defence, almost to mock Oswald.
“You’re corrupting him with the muffins,” Oswald sneers.
“Go, you have a busy day ahead of you,” You grinned at him, “Oh, Victor, take another muffin.”
Victor grins, taking another muffin as the two men exit the building. Oswald had noticed the half ate muffin in Victor’s hand before slapping it out of his hand and onto the floor.
You chuckled to yourself, turning your attention back to your book, not noticing how Victor looks over his shoulder to look back at you.
“I swear to fuck- oh hi.”
You emerge from the back room, returning from downstairs. You had been wiping your hands clean from blood as you had stabbed a man with his own purchased. The knife was hard to find in your opinion, it cost a few thousand. Obviously, you and the buyer had a disagreement, you saw him dead and he saw himself alive.
“Hi there.”
Victor had been standing at the cashier, ringing the bell on the desk, hoping if he hits it enough times you would come quicker. He drums his gloved fingers against the wooden desk as he stands there with a happy smile. His eyes flicker down to your hands in a stained red towel.
“I’m not even going to question that.”
You chuckled, “Alright, what can I do for you? Unfortunately, I have no guns for you to grab.”
“How much would they be?” He looks at you inquisitively, you falter in a moment at this man.
He both played playfully but intimidating at the same time as he leans his arm against the desk and his whole weight on top.
“Any friend of Oswald is a friend of mine, it’ll be free.”
“Now, I can’t do that-”
“And how do I know that the money you give will be stolen?” You lean on the desk, itching forward closer to him, “Trust me it’s free.”
Victor nods slowly, looking at his feet before sending you a smoulder. You hold back a fit of laughter as he tries to woo you with his good looks.
“I’m not for that anyway,” Victor states, “I was wondering if you would like to go out with me.”
“Like a date?”
“Yeah, a date,” He states again almost as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, “Say, tonight at seven?”
“Very confident,” You commented, nodding, “Alright, seven tonight.”
You held out your hand as he takes off his glove on his right hand and gives it to you. You held his hand lightly as you write down your address and number. Victor grins at your handwriting, beaming up at you when you meet his stare.
“I’ll pick you up then,” Victor stood up straight, grabbing the glove in hand, “I’ll see you tonight (Y/n).”
You nod as you watch him leave the bookshop, you grin to yourself not noticing how Victor stares at your handwriting for a moment before pulling his glove over his hand again.
Now, he has to steal a car for his date.

Epic Mickey did genuinely change how I see the character lmao, at the beginning of the game I was all "Oswald punch him! Get him Oswald!" But throughout my playthrough and cutscenes, and interaction with the npcs, Mickey is just a baby boy whos doing his best. They're brothers your honor.
having an interest in epic mickey and house of mouse and other mm centric stories is so goddamn embarrassing like what do you mean i actually enjoy mickey mouse as a character and can’t see him as just Mascot For Evil Corporation
#that being said every criticism lobbied at Disney as a whole still stands#the stuff w him n Oswald just get to me man :(#epic mickey rebrushed#mickey mouse#house of mouse
