I hate having to make a decision 😫
#I have to decide whether to renew my contract or not#I’m really not passionate about teaching English and I feel like I’ve became so jaded#but also it’s an easy job for relatively good pay#the students are nice and I like helping them but the actual teaching of English I’ve grown tired of#I want to go back to study but I don’t have any concrete plans yet so if I came back I might rush into something and regret it#or just do another working (which is what I would be doing here anyway)#but if I came back at least I would be able to explore and see what my options are in a way that I can’t do living here#also staying another year is just delaying the inevitable#BUT this contract is renewable for most up to 3 years so this would be the last time I would renew and would 100% come home next year#however I wish that I could renew until March 2026 because a whole year and a half of this job and feeling isolated a lot of the time doesnt#sound enticing#if I stay here though I can save money have more time to travel and see the world and even quit if I really can’t take it anymore#I don’t want to be stagnant but chances are if I came home I would also stay stagnant for another year so#or just panic into doing a masters that doesn’t lead me anywhere#decisions decisions!!#if i choose to go home there’s no changing my mind but if i stay I can also reverse my decision

could you do a gang(separate) with reader who’s like a transfer student or smth and dosent speak English fluently? They could like help her or smth idkkkkk but yeah🎀💕
the gang with transfer student!reader (request)
authors note: my throat fucking hurts. sorry this is short, i hope you enjoy 💗
includes ponyboy, johnny, soda, darry, dally, two-bit and steve
word count: 1.4k
warnings: cussing, dally’s a bit of a dick
PONYBOY CURTIS
ponyboy’s top of his classes so he knows a lot, especially in english
because the two of you go to the same school, you guys have a lot more time together
he’ll always help you feel ready for a presentation and makes sure all your words are spelled correctly and you pronounce them right
same with when you’re called on to read, if you can’t pronounce a word then he’ll whisper in your ear and tell you, the both of you normally sit together
sometimes you’ll go over to his house or he’ll go over to yours, he assists you by studying with you
once he went over to your house, you had a vanity in your room but didn’t know what it was called, he asked you, “well what’s something that reminds you of it? of the vanity?”
you replied, “um… sticky notes because i have them on my mirror?” so he told you to connect the words ‘sticky notes’ so you could remember the word ‘vanity’
he’ll also read to you so you can learn more words and pronunciations, you also become entertained while you’re learning so it’s nice for the both of you
JOHNNY CADE
sometimes johnny goes to school with you so the both of you can learn together
he has a lot of patience so learning with him is easy, he’d make up around five words for you to pronounce and know the definition of every day
the two of you would review those words too, and because you were learning a whole new language, he decided to learn a new language too, yours
he knew what it was like to get frustrated over not being able to understand something, so the both of you taught one another your languages
you or johnny would point at a random object and the other would say it in both languages, it was a fun way to learn since it wasn’t one sided
when the two of you could have full on conversations in one another’s languages, the both of you were ecstatic
johnny even taught pony and the gang some words from your native language because he thought it was cool
SODAPOP CURTIS
man, you guys are learning english together because soda doesn’t really have a super wide vocabulary, he wasn’t that good in school
but he’ll teach you the basic words and their meanings, clothings, paintings, items, etc
he thinks it’s so attractive when you speak your native language or talk to him that way, he’ll get all blushy and smiley
his patience is actually pretty high and he’ll make you feel better if you feel bad about not knowing english that well
it doesn’t cause much of a problem in your guys relationship, it probably brings you two closer if anything
he loves it when you come to him to ask about words or what something’s called if it has certain characteristics
since you’re in school and he’s not, if you have to write an essay or presentation, he’ll give you synonyms so you won’t repeat the same words over and over
lord knows he got shitty grades because he used the same two words throughout his essay when describing something
DARRY CURTIS
he stays really patient with you because you can always learn more english, it’s not a one time thing when if you mess a word up then its messed up forever
so he helps you, since he was really smart and was good in school, he knew a very large range of vocabulary
you could ask him about a word and he’d immediately know the definition, sometimes asking you “verb or noun?” because he just knew so much
since he’s an old ass man he’ll show you magazines and newspapers, sometimes pointing to a random word, in which you tell him what it means, basically like a memory game
he teaches you a lot about grammar since most people don’t know how to use it correctly, he also teaches you how to use the correct ‘write, right’ ‘knight, night,’ ‘where, wear’ ‘here, hear’ ‘there, their, they’re’ basically homophones
darry really just wants you to have the best in life so he’ll teach you the most
DALLAS WINSTON
if we’re being realistic here, dally would bully the shit out of you
he is honest as hell and will not feel shameful or bad that he’s being rude to you for not understanding english as well as him
but he helps you learn new words and phrases, sometimes teasing you about it and giving you the wrong answers
he later tells you the truth though if you embarrass yourself by using it wrong
“dal… um, i heard some people talking about ‘left handed?’ what does that mean?” you would ask, him replying with, “means you only use your left hand, like your other is paralyzed or broken.”
sometimes he’ll randomly ask you, “what’s that?” and point at something, basically quizzing you so you can remember what is what
dally also helps you pronounce words, when you came home from school one day, you asked him how to say “pacific ocean” because all the c’s were pronounced differently, you were rightfully confused
however, if anyone else makes fun of you, he’ll get all pissed off at them and beat the shit out of them
if you start feeling guilty for not knowing words after he makes fun of you a bit, he’ll try not to as much and will focus more on teaching you words
he won’t love you any less if you struggle with english, he loves hearing you talk in your native language
you even teach him some words and phrases in your language, he complains, “that’s too hard to learn, doll, how many languages do you know?”
little do you know he’s actually impressed and would speak your language every day if he understood as well as you did
TWO-BIT MATTHEWS
two-bit is actually very sweet about you not knowing english as well as him
sometimes, he’ll help you by watching television with you, whether it’s a movie or a series
he’s occasionally a little mean about it, laughing when you say something wrong, he corrects you after though
he’s lazy as hell though so you don’t learn much from him, but if you teach him about your language then he’ll pay attention
if you’re doing a presentation of some sort soon for school, he’ll make flash cards before and help you remember how to pronounce words and what they mean
also when in public, if both of you are in a restaurant or getting fast food, he’ll help you order what you want while you know of what the ingredients are
because he is helping you learn english, it doesn’t cause much of a problem in your relationship
also, you know that trend where it’s like ‘telling the transfer student that scooby doo is a bad word and to yell it’ that’s you guys
STEVE RANDLE
steve’s actually pretty smart so he gave you detailed descriptions of what some words meant
so when you asked what a dresser was when you were just learning, instead of pointing at it and leaving it be, he told you, “basically furniture with a lot of drawers that holds mostly clothes, it can hold other things too though.”
he also tells you more than you need to know, he talks to you about cars and all its parts even though you don’t know what they are
so he explains to you what they are and how they work, what they do and where they are in the car
steve really enjoys learning about how things work, so he’ll tell you about that too when you ask about a word or its pronunciation
also teaches you about metaphors and all that stuff, if you’re not good with sarcasm then he’ll help you know when someone is or is not being sarcastic
he also tells you that there’s a ‘shit ton of stupid rules in the english language’ and things are ‘weirdly fucking hard to pronounce’ so it’s fine to not get words right the first time
authors note: happy father’s day 🎀

Hello! I read your "Third Enoshima" works, and I've gotta say that I absolutely loved them! If it isn't much trouble, would you mind writing something with a Third Enoshima!Reader who is constantly comparing themselves with their sisters?
They're still going agaisnt their plain of causing despair of course, but they can't help but feel a bit insecure of not having such a fit and strong figure like Mukuro or how they don't even get close to having such a nice and clear skin like Junko as they wash their face with a bar of handsoap. They refuse to join dinners and constantly push themselves to the extreme to try and please the other student, it goes from simple, yet harmful, things like wearing clothes they are clearly uncomfortable wearing to doing some heavy physical training without having eating anything since they woke up. Is it detrimental to their health? Yes! Will they stop? ...probably not...definitely not.
I wonder how their classmates or even their sisters would react or what comments they'd make towards Reader's behavior! (If they don't already have their ears ringing by the end of Ishimaru's lecture, lol.
(Sorry if this is written badly, English is not my first language!)
Comparison | Yandere Danganronpa with Third Enoshima Reader
It’s a phase that usually comes when you’re a preteen
But it’s not hard if it stretches further
They both are so amazing – despair aside
They’re able to excel in their alternative ultimates just fine
Using their skills to further their agenda
All while still having the time to dote on you
It’s easy to compare
Is it because they are insane that they’re so talented
Or is it just the genes you happened to miss out on
Whatever it is it haunts you and it’ll eventually slip out
Whether with a snide comment or a nervous questioning
They notice awfully quick
“Dawww Baby-bird wants to be just like us! Then quit yer whining and follow me!”
Junko sees it as a compliment and an invitation to put you in despairing situations
Of course, you may not know your life isn’t in danger with her but she’ll let you believe it
Constantly goading you to be like her
She’ll dress you like her, get a wig if she has to
Before Mukuro pulls you away seeing that this isn’t working
“(Y/n) you are perfect in your special way! If you’d like to do what I do I’d be happy to teach you!”
Taking you to shooting ranges and destroying you in paintball or airsoft
Just shows the distance between you two even better
She’ll try and get you to try wielding more simple weapons
Dazzling you with her speedy knife skills
Unfortunately though, instead of cheering you on she ends up just gushing over you
“Aaa~you look so cute with your little bulletproof vest. M-maybe I should have you wear my helmet~!”
“Mukuro I don’t think this is–”
“J-j-just a few more pictures! Aaa~ I can’t wait to wear this after you.”
They aren’t much help in the end
Both just letting you slink off
Your sisters aren’t exactly emotionally available enough to coach you through it
But there are…some intentions
If it lasts all the way until you get your ‘tailored’ classes at Hope’s Peak
there are very few who actually notice what you mean when you vaguely comment about what you’re missing
“(Y/n) you seem to be especially hurt about your features, why is that?”
Celestia won’t beat around the bush
She wants to know who put this silly notion in your head
She needs to know if she needs to kill them
Knowing it’s your sisters makes her hesitate
You’d be upset about it right
But she’s going to bluntly tell you what your strengths because clearly your too dumb to see it
“I’m going to list all your admirable traits clearly. So listen closely.”
Nekomaru oddly enough pays enough attention to you and works his hardest to understand what those comments you make are all about
“IF YOU WANT TO GET THOSE THINGS IN YOUR LIFE WE’RE GOING TO GET THOSE THINGS YOU HEAR ME!”
“What are you talking about!”
His goal is to coach you on the areas you feel like you are lacking
Even if he doesn’t know about that particular area
So he takes the extra time he’s forced+ into spend with you to praise you for the little things.
“YEAH!!!!THAT SEEMED LIKE A SUCCESSFUL NUMBER 2 ONLY YOU COULD PULL OFF!”
“Nekomaru! I went number 1 and it’s not that big a deal!”
“YEAH IT IS! IT’S BECAUSE YOU DID IT! BECAUSE YOUR THE BEST HUMAN IN THE WOOOORLD!”
He honestly has no other idea how to get across his affection
Not without ruining his image as the ultimate team manager
He also invites you to train with him and Akane if only to see you use your cute muscles in person
And to find your weaknesses so he can be your savior
Despite his boisterous persona his encouragement and praise is honestly kind of helpful
Someone else who’s really helpful is someone who relates
“(Y/n)...for a long time I’ve pretended to be someone I’m not. Settling to just compare myself to the people I wish I could be. But now I’ve changed and I’ve decided to work on making myself more like them in my own way! I-if you want w-w-we can do it together? The….training I mean….yeah.”
Chihiro knows the feeling and if you take him up on his offer he’s thrilled
More time to plant new tracking devices
Even better with the preplaced cameras
Taking your insecurities and turning them into things you’re working on helps a lot with self-esteem
Giving you a lot more pride when you do compare and notice changes
It’s not perfect but it’s helping you
And it’s surely going to bring you and Chihiro closer
Maybe even close enough that you’ll come into his room
Your sisters will be happy…in their own way that you’re happy
But if you notice they start putting more urgency into their plan for despair
It may have something to do with the amount of time and smiling you’ve done with others in Hope’s Peak
“I can’t wait to show those neets the truest extent of despair! It’s going to be euphoric!”
“KillthemallKillthemallKillthemallKillthemallKillthemallKillthe-.”
“Patience, despair is coming Piggie! You know what just to give them a taste maybe we’ll make sure (Y/n)’s got to take a couple of sick days! I can’t wait to watch it eat at them when they don’t respond to their messages!”

Just so you know,,,,,,,I'm starting to think (more) Valentine's Day prompts!!! 🤗
Mr. Gadling's students wanted to do something nice for their favorite teacher for Valentine's Day -- so they (with Ms. Joanna and Ms. Unity's help) proposed marriage to Mr. Gadling's favorite actor, Dream Endless, for him.
They wrote letters and pooled their allowances to buy a nice band and sent it all with flowers to Dream Endless.
Matthew was new to the Endless team and wanted to distinguish himself, so when he saw the super cute (viral potential in) 5th graders asking Dream to marry their Elementary school teacher he pitched to Jessamy and Lucienne that while Dream shouldn't actually marry the guy, it would be a good Valentine's Day press story for Dream to visit the teacher -- he could do it up "romantically", flowers & chocolate & flirty.
Matthew figures Dream can bring the kids pizza and be charming for 2 hours for some good press. It would be like those kids who ask a star to take them to the prom or something.
Dream thinks it's a dumb idea, then the team (well really Dream's sister Death) finds a TikTok of "Hob Gadling" reading the classics in Old English (he might just teach Elementary school, but he studied to teach history to college students,,,,he likes to keep his hand in). Dream is entranced by the beautiful man with the dangerous mouth. Dream agrees to the roses and truffles visit.
With Joanna and Unity's adult help, and permission of the school, they plan to surprise Mr. Gadling (and his 5th grade class) with Action Star Dream Endless for Valentine's Day.
Hob gets a date with hot movie star Dream,,,,and the school gets a massive pizza party.
This is so cute. I love the idea of the kids setting their "sad lonely old teacher" up with a hot movie star! Hob would like it to be known that he is not sad, lonely OR old... but he is super into Dream Endless.
Dream shows up to the school in a suit (playing into the "wedding" thing), trying to act like he's not excited. Joanna and Unity quietly let him into the library where Hob is doing story hour for his own class and a bunch of others too. It's only when Hob looks up from "mary poppins" that he finally notices that they have a guest. Several cameras catch the way Hob’s face turns bright red, and his eyes immediately sparkle and hes gets this flirty kind of look. Dream offers up his flowers and humbly asks if Hob will join him for lunch?
It's perfect for the video that Matthew intends to make. What's even more perfect is the very real chemistry between Dream and Hob. They immediately seem to be in their own little world. Hob cracks open the chocolates and offers one to Dream; Dream allows Hob to pop the chocolate into his mouth for him. It's so adorable. The kids are more interested in the pizza delivery, but the adults are all side eyeing each other. This is DEFINITELY more than a PR stunt now.
Especially when Hob and Dream mysteriously disappear for half an hour and return with red, swollen lips. They're holding hands. It's enough to make even Joanna believe in true love.
A week later the kids are fascinated to see their lonely sad old teacher all over social media, as he leaves a very expensive restaurant on Dream Endless's arm. Hob waves to the cameras like he's a natural. Is that....... a ring on his finger?!?!?

Reader x Jihyo - Looking Out For You (Part 1)
I can't believe I haven't put this up yet lol.
Just in time for Jihyo's solo so let's say it was planned.
One of my first chapters ever so if it's crappy, I'm sorry.
WORDS: 6314
========================
It was early as usual, and you were the first one in class, since you had nothing else to do.
You walked into class, ready for the boring lecture set for today, but today had a surprise for you.
Behind your seat, was a girl you've never seen before.
She was sitting there looking at her phone.
You went towards the teacher who was at her desk.
"Um, Ms. (teacher)?"
"Hmm," You used your eyes to motion to the girl. "Oh, she's a new transfer student. It's her first day here. That's also her new seat by the way."
"Ahh, okay. Thanks." The teacher nodded and you went towards your seat, which was in front of hers.
She looked up and you waved your hand. She was really cute.
"Hey. My name is (YN). I'm guessing you're new here?" You asked.
"Jihyo, sorry, my English...not so good." She said with a bit of trouble.
"It's fine," You then looked down to see her handwriting, it was in Korean, "Korean right?"
"Yeah. How'd you know?" She nodded a bit surprised.
"Mannaseo Bangawoyo" (It's nice to meet you)
"You know Korean as well?" She said in her language.
"Yeah, my dad's side is actually Korean so I know Korean." You said in Korean.
(You're speaking Korean to her from here on out.)
"Hey, do you need someone to help you out? I'll show you around and everything, I can even teach you English if you want."
Her face looked surprised.
"Sorry, I know it's sudden, but I don't want you to be lost or anything."
"Oh no no, it's just that I don't want to waste your time though, and no offense, but you don't even know me." She said.
"Well, I know your name so that's good enough for me. Besides, it's much easier with a person translating than the machine you have." You said pointing at her translator, which was a mini laptop that she typed into to get her translation.
She looked back and forth at you and the mini laptop. Then she closed the laptop and put it away.
"Then (YN), I'll take your offer." She said smiling as you smiled back.
That was the start of a new friendship...
----------------------------------------------
Throughout the next couple of months, she was by your side whenever you both had classes. You did not mind one bit though. You were helping her with her assignments, notes and even teaching her the basics of English.
She was learning pretty quickly, but she said that she was learning lessons at home to, so it was no wonder she was learning quickly.
By this time she was getting used to the language and soon was able to understand some of the lessons too. She was very thankful for your help.
You just waved your hand and said that it was nothing.
Soon both were hanging out outside of class: showing her around the city, taking her to your favorite places to eat, the mall, even each other's places.
She introduced you to her parents and her to yours. Her's were happy that she found a friend quickly that was helping her out and they were thanking you for it. Your's were happy that you've finally found a girlfriend.
You quickly corrected them as both you and Jihyo blushed. She knew what they were talking about since she was learning quickly.
But other than that, everyone was going smoothly...was...
--------------------------------------------------
"I don't know what to do bro." You were currently at your room, on your phone with another friend of yours, (FN).
"Easy, just ask her out. Simple."
"It's not that easy, (FN). Maybe for you, but for me-"
"Man you're really taking this hard...and since when did you start liking her that way anyway?"
"Last week, I took her out for dessert, you know the ice cream place at the mall."
"Yeah...and."
"and when we were at the table together, I just imagined that we were on a date..."
"But haven't you already taken her out before and stuff."
"Yeah, but last week was...different. I've never seen her that way before, but the way she looked, ate, laughed...It was just ice cream, but I really felt like we were on a date...and I wanted to go on more with her."
"So just ask her out."
"I don't even know if she even likes me. What if she sees me as a friend only? Imagine this...
"Jihyo, I was wondering...umm...would you like to maybe...go out with me?"
"Ohh...(YN)...I'm sorry," You said impersonating Jihyo's voice. "I...I don't have the same feelings as you.
"(YN)...I'm sorry."
"No it's fine really...um...can we just...forget about this..."
"Y-yeah...sure, she says and then after that, we both don't talk regularly and both start to avoid one another
Yeah, that's how you thought in your mind the scene was going to go as you told your friend about your situation.
"Listen (YN), no offense, but you're pretty stupid for thinking that that's going to happen."
"It's just...I don't know what to say to her...we've only been friends for a couple of months, but-"
"I know, I know, she's the best girl you've ever hanged out with, she's different, she's funny, cute, etc, etc. I get it." Your friend said cutting you off. "Look she's not going to say no to you, after everything you both do. Look I've got to go, but you better ask her out soon, I'm rooting for you." Your friend said as he hanged up after.
With a sigh, you laid in your bed, covered your eyes and prepared for tomorrow.
========================================================
ONE WEEK LATER
Yeah, it's been a week since your conversation.
You were really nervous and kept coming back to your initial theory of what might happen. But today was the day, you had all your courage and made it a mission to ask her out.
You were looking for Jihyo, but she wasn't where you would usually meet. You shrugged thinking she went on ahead.
You then walked into the lunchroom and looked at your usual table, but she wasn't there. You looked around...until you saw something that was hurting you.
Jihyo was sitting somewhere and someone had their arm around her shoulder.
'No...don't tell me...'
Jihyo then spotted you and got up from her table and went towards you.
"Hey (YN), sorry for not meeting you."
"No it's fine, it's just that, why are you over there?"
"Oh...well, you know Daniel right." You nodded slowly. "I wanted to wait till I thought we were doing well and it just so happens that that day was yesterday. Dan and I are in a relationship."
'...No way...' Your heart was dropping after this.
"R-Really, umm, when did he ask you out?"
"Maybe a couple of weeks ago, we already went on a couple of dates too. But I wasn't too sure about the relationship, but he was sweet and told me that we could take it easy." Jihyo happily said with a big smile.
------------------------------
There was one major problem with that...
Daniel was a playboy.
No one knew to expect you.
You caught him on multiple times with different girls, sometimes being with someone else when he already had a relationship with someone.
You've seen him with a girl at school and on that same night, with someone else.
You hated this kind of people that treated women like 'trophies'.
How you caught him is that you got a job at this restaurant, one of the best around actually...as a busboy, but it still was a job for you.
The worst part was that it was Dan's family restaurant.
And being one of the best around, your guess was that he brought them here to show off his wealth. He even has his table prepared whenever he wanted.
Good thing was that he wasn't that smart. He doesn't even notice you since you've never interacted with him, school nor work, but you saw him from afar, flirting and holding on to his ladies. It was always the same antics.
You didn't see the same girl often and you've seen only about 1 or 2 girls from school. Your guess is that he dated girls from other schools as well.
And now here he was taking Jihyo as well.
You wanted to say don't bother and go out with me instead, but you didn't...you couldn't...but she seemed so happy at the thought that you couldn't just say don't do it to her.
Even if you did, she wouldn't believe it anyway or even simply agree with you.
"That's great Jihyo." You said with a fake smile.
"Thanks (YN)... but that doesn't mean that won't hang out though. Today I'm going to sit with them if that's okay with you?"
"No, go ahead. I'll hang out with (FN) instead."
"Great thanks (YN)." And with that she left, leaving you miserable.
----------------------------------------------------
ONE WEEK LATER
You've been hiding the fact that you still didn't like the relationship Jihyo has been on. You both still hang out, but whenever Jihyo brought his name up you couldn't help, but ignore her. You also spend fewer days together since she was now hanging out with Dan and his friends.
Saturday night came and it was your day off, you asked Jihyo if she wanted to do something, but she was busy studying for a test on Monday. At least she wasn't with Dan you thought. But your parents asked if you wanted to see the new Halloween movie that came out with them after the learned that you aren't going anywhere.
You nodded and got ready.
It was nighttime and you were leaving the movies with your parents, you both went to see that new Halloween movie that came out.
As you three were walking out, you saw someone at the side of your eye. Your eyes widened at the sight.
It was Dan and his friends...but that wasn't what caught your eye, Dan was with a girl...and it wasn't Jihyo. They were kissing with each other in line while his friends ordered the tickets.
'Damn it. I knew this was going to happen. Okay just need to take a quick-' but Dan then turned towards your direction, and you quickly turned around yourself and left.
'That was too close...' you turned around and saw them head inside.
'Well it's too late now, but at least I caught him. I knew it, I just knew something like this was going to happen...now for the hard part.'
Jihyo
=========================================================
THE NEXT DAY
You quickly went to find Jihyo, this wasn't something to do over the phone, but in person. You went early to school again knowing that she was going to be there, she was there earlier than you sometimes.
And it turns out she was.
She was at her locker grabbing stuff.
You quickly went to her and she saw you while smiling.
"Morning (YN)."
"Dan's cheating on you." You whispered as Jihyo didn't seem to understand.
"W-what?"
"Dan, he's cheating on you." You were assertive as Jihyo gave an short laugh.
"Heh, are you serious?"
You nodded.
"I've caught him last night. I went to the movie theaters and saw him with another girl."
Jihyo shook her head.
"(YN), Dan told me he was going to the movies with a cousin of his that he hasn't seen in a while. I didn't go because I was studying. It was probably her."
"Jihyo, they were kissing." You whispered the last part.
"Kissing? Are you sure?"
"I'm pretty positive."
Jihyo looked away for a few seconds and turned back to you.
"Do you have proof? (YN) this is-I can't believe that."
You mentally sighed.
"No I don't, but Jihyo I know what I saw. You have to believe me."
She took some seconds thinking and you saw her lips purse.
"...I'll talk to him."
"Talk? Jihyo he-"
"(YN), I'll talk to him okay. I need to hear from him."
"He's going to lie Jihyo."
"He's honest (YN)." You rolled your eyes.
"No he's not Jih-"
"Hey babe." You both looked to see Dan coming closer as Jihyo smiled even more at him.
"Dan~"
He came close and the two hugged as you scoffed and gave a look at Dan.
"How are you doing?"
"Great, just talking to (YN)."
"Sup (YN)." You motioned your head to say hi.
"Hey sorry about yesterday," Jihyo nodded.
"It's okay, don't worry," Jihyo excused as you turned away from them and started walking, catching the eyes of her and Dan.
"Did I interrupt?" He asked as Jihyo looked at him.
"Dan, we need to talk."
----------------------------------
RING
10 minutes passed by and students were starting to get into their seats.
Eventually Jihyo came along as well and sat behind you whie Dan came in with his friends.
TAP TAP
You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned as Jihyo leaned closer.
"I talked to him."
"And..." Of course, you knew what the answer was going to be.
"He said that he was with his family/friends and what you saw was him kissing her on the cheek, that was a cousin of his that he hasn't seen in a while. Even his friends confirmed it."
'That lying piece of-'
"He also said that I was the only girl he's ever had his eyes on. He said that he would never go behind my back. Even though we only been dating for some weeks now, but I can tell he was sincere in his words."
You couldn't say anything to argue that, what could you say. You didn't have proof.
"I know what I saw Jihyo."
"(YN) seriously, Dan is nothing like that okay. Just drop this." She said with a serious tone.
"...Fine."
"Good."
And after that, none of them said a word to each other. The whole day. It was hurting you, but you needed some kind of prove that Dan is cheating on her.
------------------------------------------
You walked home alone, you didn't bother saying goodbye to Jihyo.
About a good 10-minute walk from school and someone shouted your name.
"Hey (YN)."
You turned around to see the man you despise himself, Dan. Along with a couple of friends of his.
"Can I help you?" You asked.
"Yeah you can. So you're good friends with Jihyo, right?" You nodded.
"And as friends, I can understand how you would want to protect her."
"Where are you going with this?" You said as he had your full attention.
"Now I know that nobody knows about my...relationships that I had before. And somehow Jihyo knew about last night and of course, I had to sweet charm her into thinking I was the only one for her. Now I don't know how, but I know for a fact that she was told this...am I right." His friends then circled around you.
You looked around at the three.
"Jihyo deserves better. I know you're seeing someone behind her back." You said.
"Saw you last night...you were right by the way. Can't keep this a secret any longer from you."
"So it's true. Why?!" You said angrily.
"Why not, Sarah's cute and all, but Jihyo...with that body...I think I'll keep her for a while."
You clenched your teeth and formed a fist, but suddenly your chest felt pain and all the air was gone from your lungs as Dan kneed you in the stomach making you get on your knees.
You clenched your mouth and hugged your stomach as the pain was coursing through your body.
"If you ever, say anything to Jihyo again. I will personally make you suffer."
You got up after the three left you. You clenched your stomach. But the pain was going away. Now you know that it's true, you have one objective.
Catch him again.
---------------------------------------------
ONE WEEK LATER
It's been a week since the incident and you were now focusing on trying to catch Dan. You barely even talked to Jihyo.
You came up with a plan though.
Your plan was the restaurant. You haven't seen Dan yet for a while, but that means he hasn't brought Sarah (his other girl) here yet.
You asked for a shift for each night, it was going to be hard work and you didn't know when he might come, but you needed to catch him. You couldn't get all the nights, but four of them only.
You were praying that this night was his night to be here.
'Please...you know you want to bring her here.'
Luck was on your side today, as of course, Dan came through the entrance with the same girl as you saw him with last time.
You smirked as you waited till you got some photos of him doing something flirty with her.
It took a while, but you saw him putting his arm around hers and even gave a kiss on the cheek.
SNAP SNAP SNAP
'Perfect' You thought as you scrolled through the photos.
-----------------------------------------------
The Next Day
You immediately went towards Jihyo's locker and there she was alone too. You both were always the first ones here. There was no one, but a couple of students walking around.
'Good.'
"Jihyo." You said as you fast walked to her. She turned towards her name and saw you.
"Hi (YN), look about last ti-" She said with a smile.
"I caught him. This time I have prove."
"Caught who?"
"Dan," Jihyo rolled her eyes, "I caught him cheating on you again, except this time I have some prove."
"(YN), I'm not having this conversation again." She said with her tone getting agitated.
You didn't respond, but you took your phone out and showed the multiple photos that you took of Dan and the girl he was with.
Jihyo took the phone and looked through each one.
"(YN)..."
"See, now I know this must be har-"
"Have you been spying on us!?" She said angry.
"What?"
"These are fakes aren't they." She looked up at you.
You just blinked a couple of times.
Surely you didn't hear that right.
"What do you mean 'fakes'?" You said confused.
"(YN) this is the same exact place that we had our date a couple of days ago. We're even sitting on the same table...wait...have you been stalking him?" She said with a shocked look on her face.
"N-No, Jihyo look I-"
"Why are you so hellbent on making us break up?" She spat as you...
"...I-I'm looking out for you Jihyo. What other reason could I possibly have or need?"
"..."
"..."
"...you have feelings for me." She uttered as your heart raced.
While it wasn't how you wanted her to know, it wasn't the time to act timid.
"My feelings have nothing to do with this Jihyo. He's been cheating on you this entire time," You pointed at your phone. "Look at it again and tell me that these aren't fake." You pushed your phone forward as Jihyo stepped back.
"(YN), now you're taking this too far...you're starting to creep me out." Jihyo said worryingly, "...maybe...maybe we shouldn't see each other for a bit." Jihyo said.
Your head leaned back.
"Y-you can't be serious?! You think this is a joke Jihyo?!"
"Why can't you understand (YN) that he loves me and I love him."
"Jih-"
"No (YN), you don't have the right to even speak! Dan is sweet and caring and he's been nothing but loving with me." Jihyo was getting angrier.
"And I haven't?! Who's been there for you since day one Jihyo! And now I'm suddenly the villain!" You pointed at yourself.
"Well you certainly aren't acting like a good person right now (YN)! Dan makes me happy! Why can't you get that!"
"He's only using you Jihyo, he wants to brag about getting you at his side! Jesus why aren't you getting this!"
Jihyo took a few moments.
"...you're jealous."
"Oh my-"
"No, you are. That's why you're trying so hard to get rid of Dan, so you can have me for yourself." She said accusingly.
"I told you my feelings-"
"Well it ain't happening. Dan is a lot of great things (YN), more than you can think! And right now, more than you! That's why I would choose him over you! Dan makes me feel wonderful and I want you to stay away from us!"
"..."
...
...
...
Your heart shattered at what she just said.
It was at that point that whatever you said didn't matter...not that you had anything else to say...what could you say?
You closed your eyes and shook your head.
"...do you what you want then," you muttered, "I was only looking out for you. And if you think it's best if we don't see each other, then, fine." You said while turning away, trying to keep your composure.
Jihyo then huffed her frustrations and turned around towards her locker.
She couldn't believe what just happened.
You were getting too far.
'I can't believe (YN). How could he just say things like that.'
Then she closed her eyes and took deep breaths. She opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was the inside of her locker door.
It was with a two clips of selfies of you and her. Each photo had both of them smiling and goofing off.
She remembered each one when she and you took them in the photo booth machines in the mall. One for the first time they went there and the other wasn't that long ago with her new hairstyle.
She shook her head and closed the door after getting her materials.

TIMESKIP
TWO DAYS
Two days have passed and it wasn't good for Jihyo.
She didn't mean what she said.
She was angry at what you were suggesting and lost it.
She liked Dan a lot, but she enjoyed being with you too.
You were right, you were looking out for her well being.
She was going to apologize to you the next day and talk about this more calmly but you didn't show up.
She called you but no answer.
After school, she went to your home, but you weren't their either as your parents wondered the same.
That's when Jihyo started to get worried.
She went and called her friends and asked, but no.
She called your friends but nothing either.
That's when Jihyo started to panic.
She remembered the last words she said about not wanting to see you for a while, but she didn't think you'd take it this hard.
Guess that's what happens when you break someone's heart.
Now she felt horrid about what she said about 'choosing Dan over you' and 'to stay away'.
That's not true at all.
You made her feel welcomed and happy too.
God she was an idiot.
If she hadn't lost it, this mess wouldn't be happening and if anything happened to you...she didn't know what she'd do.
And now, sitting on her desk, staring forward at the lone table while students around talked, she couldn't think of anything but you.
'Where are you (YN), I'm so sorry. Please be safe.
As class was about to start...
"Jihyo?" The teacher approached her, "Mr. (Principal) wants to see you in his office."
Jihyo nodded slowly.
"Is it about (YN)?"
"I don't know."
Jihyo's breath shook.
"...okay,"
With that Jihyo sat up from her desk and with a heavy weight, proceeded outside the classroom, noticing the lack of emotions from other students, including Dan fooling around with his friends.
'Can't they see he's missing...'
With a couple of minutes walking, she made her way to the principal's office and knocked on the door.
"Come in,"
is what she heard and she turned the doorknob and stepped in...to see the principal, along with two officers.
She started to stress seeing them.
'No...no, i-it can't be-'
"Ms. Park, please sit." The principal waved at the empty chair as Jihyo sat down as her heart couldn't take it.
"Is (YN)-..." She couldn't bring herself to say what she thought.
"That's why we're here. We're from the (Location) police department, we're here to question students about him. His parents filed a missing report."
Jihyo felt her body go limp.
Ice in her veins.
And a loss of breath.
"M-missing..."
"Yes, now, Mr. (Principal Name) has informed us that you and (YN) are close. May I ask your relation to them?"
"..."
Jihyo's mind was scattered.
She just assumed you were at home moping.
'(YN)...missing...'
"Ms. Park. I understand it's difficult to process, but we need your information."
Jihyo turned her head to the principal and then to the cops, one who had a notepad.
"...w-we're friends."
"And when was the last you spoke to them?" He wrote down her answer.
And that's, when the conversation of you and her came in like a flood.
"T-tuesday morning...a-are you sure he's missing?"
"His parents stated that he hasn't been in contact at all and based on the school cameras, he walked off the grounds shortly before school ended. You were the last seen talking to him in the halls."
Now Jihyo was starting to freak.
"May I ask what you were talking about?"
"...I-it was about my boyfriend...w-we were talking about...about..." Jihyo's breath rate increased.
"It's okay, take your time." The second cop suggested, "and take deep breaths. I know it's difficult, but we're doing everything we can to find him and every information helps." The cop explained as Jihyo nodded slowly.
"..."
"..."
"...we were talking uh, my boyfriend potentially cheating on me. I didn't believe him, we had an argument and he left."
"Did he say where?"
'What did I do...'
Jihyo shook her head.
"Did he say something that he was going to do?"
'I did this...'
Jihyo shook her head once more.
"He said that...that he was sorry about it and he left. I-I didn't see him after..." Jihyo rose her hand over her mouth, "I-I didn't mean to be rude-I-I-was mad at that point and-"
"It's okay Ms. Park, no one is blaming you." The principal lowered his hand but it was futile as Jihyo started to shake in her chair, "these men are looking for leads."
"Ms. Park, are you absolutely sure that he didn't say anything." The first cop asked as Jihyo shook her head as the first cop nodded.
"Well, then may we ask everything about (YN). We're hoping you have something new for us. Something that may lead us to somewhere."
Jihyo slowly looked up at the cop and nodded.

TIMESKIP
SLAM
Jihyo hurried and ran towards the door of your home.
Immediately after school, Jihyo drove towards your place.
After finishing up questions, she went back to class and hurried for school to end.
She only gave information that they seemly already knew from asking your parents.
Favorite restaurants, places, etc.
Although nothing was new as the cops assured her that they're doing everything they can and she was excused.
And when Jihyo left the room, she went to the nearest bathroom stall...and cried.
You were missing and Jihyo blamed herself for it.
After sobbing for some time, even when class was almost over, Jihyo vowed to find you.
She had to find you.
KNOCK KNOCK
"(YN)! Is that you!" Jihyo heard from behind the door.
The door swung open to reveal your mother with your father behind her
"J-Jihyo..." She said weakly as started to become emotional, "w-we don't know where (YN) is..."
"I know, the cops asked me about him."
"Oh god..." Your mom started to cry a bit. "We tried contacting him and now we have the police out searching, but...but..." She stopped talking as she broke down.
Your father came over and consoled her.
"Jihyo, if you know anything, anything that could cause him to disappear, please tell us."
She broke your heart.
That's what happened.
"...N-no, I-I don't know. I'm going to look around as well."
"Maybe something at school, was he getting bullied?" Your dad asked.
Jihyo shook her head.
"My baby..." Your mom sobbed as Jihyo was almost at the same state, "(YN)..."
"Shh, he's okay (mom's name) he's okay, he's strong. Jihyo, help us find him," Your dad asked as Jihyo nodded.
"I-I'll look around..."
"Thank you," You dad said as he hugged your mom and ushered her back in, "I'll join as well," he said as he brought your mom back inside, instructing her to remain here.
Jihyo's eyes fell and her body felt like gravity increased by 100 times.
'I did this...'
----------------------------------------
TIMESKIP
Five hours later
Jihyo was sitting in her car, thinking of anything.
ANYTHING that she could have missed.
It's been five hours since your parents and she couldn't find you.
She wished to every god and deity to find you sitting somewhere safe, but no.
It was getting night and Jihyo was all out of ideas on where you could be.
But she wasn't going to stop.
She'd search every corner of the city to find you.
'Where could he have gone...(YN)...maybe...maybe Dan knows something? After all, this started with him...but I'm hoping he didn't do anything.' She didn't think of Dan at all after these two days.
She texted and after a bit of not answering, she called him twice, but he wasn't answering either.
She scoffed and she drove towards his house to see if he was there.
After a short drive, she arrived at his house, parked outside his pathway, went out the car and towards the door.
She rang the doorbell as she looked around the front yard.
CLICK...SWING
"It's about t-" Jihyo noticed that Dan's eyes widened to the fullest and he was all in a pretty nice attire as well, "J-J-Jihyo!?" He then looked over Jihyo's head and back to her, making Jihyo wonder why he was acting strange, "W-What are you doing here? Damn it you should have called!" Dan demanded and had panic in his tone.
That was a bit much, but Jihyo didn't care at the moment.
"Twice I called you pabo. We need to talk, but I'm guessing this is a bad time." She said as she nodded.
"I-I'm just about to head out with family, so we'll talk later okay!" Dan said quickly as Jihyo sighed.
"Fine, I'll talk to you later then, but I have one quest-"
"Jihyo just go." Dan said as Jihyo burrowed her brows.
"Don't tell me to just leave!" Jihyo barked back. "And why are you so paranoid?" She asked with venom in her tone as Daniel's eyes tightened.
"Just ask your damn question."
Jihyo did not like that language.
"(YN) is missing. Do you know anything about it?"
Daniel scoffed.
"How should I know? Maybe he's just done with life."
SLAM
Jihyo then rushed towards him as Daniel's eyes widened as the door was pushed open and Jihyo was in front of him with a glare that sends shivers down his spine.
"Don't! Don't you dare say something like that!" Jihyo pointed at his face, "this isn't a joke or laughing matter! (YN) is missing and I need to know if you know anything Kang Daniel!"
Jihyo was fuming and it was only going to be worse since...
HONK HONK
Daniel's eyes widened and prayed to the gods for help.
Jihyo turned around and noticed a pretty nice yellow car was parked and someone stepped out the driver's seat and started to come towards them.
"J-Jihyo I'll answer anything, but you have to leave now." Daniel said fast as Jihyo kept her eyes on the person arriving.
A blond girl with a nice attire as well.
"Hey Dan~" Was the girl's tone as she stepped closer "Sorry for being la-and who's this?"Jihyo didn't know who she-...no...wait...
No, no she recognized who she was...she just can't figure it out...
"M-Marissa...c-can you give us a minute." Dan asked cautiously as Jihyo kept her gaze on the girl.
"Sure babe~"
.
.
.
Everything in Jihyo froze.
"B-babe..." She repeated.
Then it hit her...
It was the same girl from your phone.
Jihyo froze and stared at the girl's appearance, it was exactly her and her saying babe...
She turned around and saw Dan's perplexed face.
Her frozen body was engulfed with fury.
"(Y-(YN) was right...you were cheating on me..." Her fist formed and her tone was cold.
"Ji-"
PUNCH
Dan held his nose hard as he looked at Jihyo, who had a glare that looked like she was going to murder him.
"You bastard! You two-timing bastard! (YN) was right!" Jihyo shoved him as Daniel went back a step.
"Ji-"
"We're done! We're so over! I don't ever want to hear or see you again you hear me!"
Jihyo screamed so powerful that it left Daniel and even the girl hurt in their ears as Jihyo stormed off.
"C-cheating?! You were cheating?!" Jihyo heard the other girl yell from behind, but she didn't turn around to observe.
She was so furious...and so blameworthy.
She, in quick time, got into her car, and drove away without looking back.
During the drive, she thought how incredibly stupid she was.
You were right...
The whole time you were telling the truth and she didn't believe you because of affection for that piece of shit.
She drove you away from her because of that...
Because of her blindness and mistrust...
"(YN)...oh god...I-I'm so so-agh..."
The tears came down.
-----------------------------------------------------
TIMESKIP
THE NEXT DAY
Jihyo was at her desk, by herself in the class.
She came to school early to avoid that piece of garbage Kang Daniel, knowing he never arrives early to school
She was staring at her phone, nothing was going to distract her.
The very millisecond it rings, she was going to answer and no one was to stop her.
All night last night, Jihyo cried and called you many times.
She felt horrible and felt every negative emotion in her as she was on her bed just calling and texting nonstop.
You were right...
You were looking out for her.
She should have known better.
And what hurt the most is that you could have been-
No, no she couldn't think of that ending.
Jihyo needed you to be with her ASAP and safe and she'll do whatever she can to have your trust and friendship back.
But she didn't even think that's possible now with what she said to you, but Jihyo will find a way no matter what.
"Jihyo?" Jihyo tensed up, she knew that voice.
It belonged to Leon, one of Dan's friends.
"How are you doing?" He asked but she didn't turn around.
"Ms. Park, Leon here would like something to you, I think you should listen." Another voice spoke up, she turned around to see the principal behind Leon, whose expression was hurt.
She didn't reply, nor did she want to talk to any one of them.
If they were friends with Dan, then they were now nobody to her.
"..."
The principal nodded and looked down at Leon.
"Understandable, Leon." He spoke with a serious tone as Leon gulped.
"Listen Jihyo. I wanted to tell you that we got expelled," Jihyo's glare softened and her eyes were curious, why was he telling her this? "Mason and Dan included."
"And?" She spoke with confusion as he looked downward.
"We threatened (YN)." Jihyo recoiled, "Dan even hurt him."
Jihyo stood up with lightning speed and rushed at him only for the principal to stop her in time as a couple of other students and the teacher was staring with awestruck looks as Jihyo swung her arms.
"You bastard! ALL OF YOU! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM LEON?!" Jihyo screeched with malice in her voice.
"Ms. Park, Ms. Park! I know you're disconcerted, but please lower your attitude. He knows nothing of (YN) after that." The principal fought against her grip as Jihyo lessened her movement, but kept her glare.
"...why? Why the hell would you hurt him?!" She barked at Leon as he looked down.
"Dan wanted to keep him shut, he told you that he was cheating on you." Jihyo's eyes widened and her whole body went solid. "He threatened him to keep quiet and...god I'm so sorry Jihyo, but I swear we had nothing to do with him after. I felt so guilty about it and I turned us in." He rubbed his arm as Jihyo remained still.
"The other two don't know about him telling me and all three will be expelled. Even though he says he's done nothing with (YN) after that, we fear that that bullying led (YN) to being scared and leaving." The principal added as Jihyo felt a dagger in her already wounded heart.
"Jihyo, I'm so sorry. I know it doesn't really mean anything now, but Mason and I were trying to find him too. We didn't mean-god we-I-I'm sorry..." Leon apologized, but it was meaningless as Jihyo didn't acknowledge him with the principal figuring that was it.
"Jihyo? Would you like to ask or say anything else?" The principal asked as she shook her head.
"I want him gone..." She muttered as he nodded.
"Leon let's go grab your belongings." He instructed him as Leon nodded with the principal walking forward and turning back to see Jihyo's heartbroken look, "And don't worry Jihyo, rest assured we'll find (YN)." He expressed up as she merely sat in response, as the principal felt horrible that she was like this and looked to see the teacher as she nodded at him.
With one look at her, both males left the room as Jihyo sat with her face buried in her hands.
"Jihyo?" The teacher was near her as the other students watched, "I don't mind if you need to go home. Would you like to call your parents to leave?" She asked, "I'll send you-"
"No..."
"...Okay. And I'll allow your phone to be on your desk, but silent please."
"..."
The teacher knew how much you meant to her, you were her first friend here.
"We'll find him Jihyo, we will." She spoke with a soft tone as she patted Jihyo's shoulder and left her to her desk, leaving Jihyo.
Dan hurt you, he hurt you...
Jihyo couldn't 'believe it...
She couldn't believe she dated that monster...and she said that she'll choose him over you...
.
.
SNIFF...SNIFF
Jihyo started to shake and cry silently.
If she had believed you back then, you would still be here.
They would still have lunch and be close and...
And...
Jihyo shook her head.
'(YN)...please come back...I'm sorry...'
---------------------------------------------------------
THREE DAYS LATER
News about your disappearance was all over the school and even news station.
The students in the class at the time gossiped and of course, like any rumor, it spread like wildfire.
Students were chatting about you which led to multiple guesses about why you left.
All Jihyo did was search around and hoped that you will come to school or her home soon.
She and her parents helped your parents by looking for you at places you have been to.
Jihyo went to each spot that was both her favorite place to go each day, but nothing but hurt and sadness were brought to her as she recalled memories of each place.
She left messages, voicemails, and calls just about every time she picked up her phone hoping you will hear her and come back to her. Each one was apologetic about how she was and that she needed you.
Currently, Jihyo was on her bed, holding onto her phone. She hardly talks at school and rushes home and lays on her bed, watching and waiting on her phone to ring.
Her parents were worried, but they understood that you were important in her life.
Even though it was only about three months of them knowing each other, you were her first friend here.
You got her adjusted to the school, to the language and showed her around.
And what did Jihyo do...
Break your heart.
Told you to stay away.
That she'd want...
Jihyo just held onto her phone for dear life, she felt empty on the inside and she just wanted to hear your voice, she wanted to be near you.
She just wanted-
RINGTONE
Jihyo's eyes widened and answered right away.
"(YN)!" Her hopes were in the positives after what felt like an eternity...only...
"Jihyo?"
It wasn't your voice.
"Who's this?" Jihyo asked sadly.
"It's (Mother's Name), (YN)'s mom."
Jihyo sat up in bed.
"Did you find him?!"
"Sadly."
She started to shake.
"W-where is he?" Jihyo asked frightened.
"..."
"Ms. (LN)?"
"...the emergency room."

*:・゚✧*:・゚✧ midnight at noonday | dead poets society (part 3) *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
ship: Surprise! x fem!OC
warnings: still none
summary: Clare gets to know Charlie.
word count: 3124
a/n: Tragically, I forgot to cross-post this chapter when I was doing them all before. Hope you guys enjoy.
taglist: @toobraindeadtofunction
“So,” Charlie broke the silence as we passed a group of younger boys playing knucklebones in the dirt under one of the oak trees. “You got your extracurriculars yet?”
“Yeah.” I unlinked our arms as we came up to the building’s entrance, casting a glance around for any teachers. “Soccer, rowing, and Nolan said he’d have the caterers teach me some home ec too, even though they don’t do that for boys.” I sighed. “I don’t mind it, really. I like cooking and folding laundry fine, but it kind of seems a little, um…”
“Misogynist?” Charlie offered.
“Yeah!” I nodded enthusiastically. “I was scared to say it.”
“Hey, don’t be.” He gave me an emphatic look. “This whole place is backwards. I’m surprised they let you in at all.”
“Me too, but it was the only way they could get my father to teach. We’re kind of a package deal.”
“I see. Still, it must have been a tough sell. You must have enough merit of your own to convince Nolan to change his ways.”
“I suppose I do.” I flushed under his praise. “I mean, my grades are up to standard and, uh… Well, I suppose I’m a good debater when I have my head screwed on. I had to vouch for myself on the phone to him before he let me in. Y’know there’s something about that man that makes me want to stand up for myself.”
“Would that be his face like a smacked ass, or the whole correctional officer bit?”
“Both, probably.” I said with a giggle. “I managed to convince him to let me into the debate club too.”
“Debate club?” Charlie raised his eyebrows. “Impressive. How’d you swing that?”
“Well, I debated him. I told him I imagine a number of the boys in the club would go on to careers in politics, so if any of them wanted to run for president or something, it would be very important to understand the female perspective in order to win women’s votes.”
“No time like the present, right?”
“Exactly.” I nodded. “I said that the earlier you start gathering information, the easier it will be to campaign later. And then I made a joke about helping them to better understand their future wives, and that really tickled him.”
“Did he give you any push back?”
“Of course. He said I’d have an unfair advantage ‘cause my femininity would fluster my opponents; and also that my admittance to the club would ‘undermine the long cultivated identity that has been a constant since the club’s inception.’” I slipped into a half-hearted impression of the stuffy old man. “So I said if I ever argued against the club’s values, surely the members coming together to defend them would only strengthen their resolve; and that I would wear my ugliest, lumpiest jumper when I’m on the soap box.”
“I bet he saw the funny side of that.” He said sardonically.
“He did! He actually laughed, can you believe it? He said I have ‘moxie.’”
“Weird.” He frowned, but there was real admiration in the look he shot me.
“You’re telling me.” I laughed to cover my blush. “The funny thing is, I don’t really care about debating. I really wanted a spot on the school paper, but he said it would be inappropriate for a new transfer student to be involved in something so front-facing; especially one who’s already drummed up some controversy.”
“Damn. Try him again next semester, huh? I’m on the paper, I can vouch for you.”
“That’s so kind! Thank you, Charlie.”
“Any time.” He said as we rounded the corner to the east wing stairwell. “Hey, did you say you’re doing rowing?”
“And soccer.”
“Bit of a sportswoman, huh? Very nice.”
“You don’t have to butter me up, I’ll still help you with English.” I threw him a smirk.
“Ugh!” He threw his hand up in phoney indignation. “I’d never use flattery to get what I want! But, seriously, I think it’s cool you’re athletic. You can sit by me at rowing, if you want.”
“Sure. I’ve never done it before, so I hope I’m not too much of a hindrance.”
“You’ll pick it up fast. It’s easy once your muscles get used to it. You better pray you’re on my soccer team, though, kid. I’m the best goalie that ever lived.”
“Sure you are.” I rolled my eyes playfully. “I’ve never played that either. I hope I learn quickly.”
“It’s not so bad. What did you do for sports at Chelsea?”
“I did tennis and track. We had soccer and cricket teams too, but that was never my thing. You ever played tennis?”
“No, never.”
“That’s a shame! It’s so much fun.” I sighed dolefully. “I still have my gear, and I’m hoping to find a partner.”
“I could try.” He offered. “I don’t know how good I’ll be.”
“That’s sweet of you.” I gave his arm a light squeeze. “If I find somewhere to play, I’ll let you know.”
“Sure. Look, we’re nearly there.”
“Oh, so we are.”
Sure enough, we had arrived at the familiar stairway that led right up to my room. I was astonished that not only had he kept me entertained all the way from the west wing to here, but he had kept me talking through our entire walk. After the horror of this morning, I thought I would be buried deep in my shell forever. I felt a warm rush of gratitude for the boy with the permanent smirk. Though he liked to mask it with a clownish attitude, I could see that he really cared about people.
“I can take it from here, thanks Charlie.”
“No problem. Hey, do you have your own bathroom, or are you slumming it with us?”
“No, I have my own.” I laughed. “Well, it’s Dad’s- I mean Mr Keating’s too.”
“Ugh! Privileged.”
“I know!” I blushed, embarrassed at the faculty’s special treatment. “I’ll see you at dinner?”
“Sure.”
“Hey, can…” I hesitated. “Can I sit with you guys?”
“Of course!” He touched my arm reassuringly. “I’ll save you a seat.”
“Thanks. See you then.”
“Bye, Skipper!” He was gone before I could reprimand him.
Feeling a spark of annoyance- more so at my father than Charlie- I scaled the last flight of stairs and came up to my bedroom. It was a surprising relief to be alone, and I realised my ears were ringing from the constant noise of three hundred teenage boys nattering and play-fighting from class to class. I rubbed my temples, feeling around for tension, heaved a sigh, and dragged my feet over to my suitcases. It felt like such an effort to dig around and find my toiletries, and by the time I found them I had to fight against the urge to curl up on the floor and go to sleep. Instead, I hauled myself to my feet and had a quick look around my room. It was much better than the boys’ dorms; there was more space, with a bigger bed and wardrobe, a bigger desk with more drawer space, and a small table with one of those new fangled electric tea kettles. I felt like the Queen of Sheba, though I doubted she would be so ashamed of her luxuries. I let out a sigh, then made my way to the bathroom to scrub off the day with soaps and potions.
I had just finished putting my hair up in Spoolies and was about to put on some dinner clothes when I heard a rapping at my door. I hurriedly pulled a bathrobe over my pajamas and went over to investigate. To my dismay, there was no peephole, so I had no clue as to who I was opening the door to. In a slight panic, and not wanting to sound rude, I opened the door straight up without asking who was there. Thank the lord it was just Dad. He was smiling softly and held a bundle of cattails in a tall crystal vase.
“Hi, sweetheart.” He stepped in and kissed my cheek. “I thought you could do with some colour in here, but for the life of me, I couldn’t find any foxgloves. I nearly had an impromptu scuba session getting these.”
“Thank you.” He strode past me and placed them on the windowsill by my desk. “I love cattails.”
“Yes, you do.” He agreed with a playful smile. “You bit one when you were two and got a mouthful of seeds.”
“So I’ve heard.” It was one of his favourite stories from my early childhood.
“So. Clare. I thought you might like to join me for dinner in my room tonight for a little recconassance. How about it?”
I hesitated. I would be so grateful to have some quiet time before study group tonight, but Charlie had already saved me a spot at his table and I desperately wanted to see Neil again. I supposed I would see him while we studied, but there would be little time for talking. I suppose I left it too long to reply, as Dad shook his head and laughed.
“You don’t have to say yes.”
“No, no I’d like to. I just-” I sighed in agitation. “I don’t like that I have privileges that the boys don’t have.”
“Hm.” He looked thoughtful. “Well… Sure, you have a few luxuries not afforded to the rest of the student body, but you have plenty of extra restrictions too. I think it all evens out in the end.”
“I suppose you’re right.” I let out the tension in my shoulders. “I’ll eat with you, but I need to go a little before eight so I can meet up with my study group.”
“Of course.” He nodded. “I’m proud to see you taking your school work seriously, but try not to let it rule your world.”
“I think I might have to if I’m going to stay here.” I wiped my eyelids, fatigue weighing heavy on them. “I have to at least stay on top of things, until I get a feel for how much I have to do.”
“Mm, you are right.” Dad sighed, shaking his head. “I only wish you had more time to do what you’re truly passionate about.”
“Who knows? Maybe I have an untapped passion for Latin.”
“Well, you can’t have inherited it from me.” He ambled to the door. “Come on, dinner’s getting cold.”
It seemed Dad had hustled an extra portion of the teacher’s meal for me. Waiting at the small dining table in his room was a tray with a glass cloche over it, covering two steaming bowls of carbonara. With a pang of guilt, I noted that it was much nicer than the prison food I had heard some of the boys describing earlier that day. I sat down while Dad stepped aside to select a record to put on the turntable.
“Looks good, doesn’t it?” He smiled. “I can’t guarantee all your meals will be as nice as this one. Hell-ton hash is a necessary rite of passage.”
“Surely it’s not that bad.” I tried my best to sound optimistic, but the day was so long and I was so tired, and with a stack of work to do for every class, I truly felt like the entire school had been designed to torture me. Why would the food be any different?
“You don’t sound convinced.”
“I’m not.” I let my hand rest on my cheek and gazed longingly at the meal, only just realising how starved I was.
“Go on, dig in.” Dad insisted, picking out a Chopin piano record, probably for my benefit.
I started eating before he sat down, and neither of us said grace. Of the four pillars, tradition was the one that fell most by the wayside in our household. The pasta was the most divine thing I had ever tasted, and it took a lot of effort not to wolf it all down straight away. The piano filled the air with delicate swelling sounds. Chopin would always be my favourite.
“So, how was your day?” I asked before he had a chance to start a round of twenty questions.
“Excellent.” He responded, pouring us both a glass of cloudy apple juice. “Every one of my classes contain students of great merit. I can see poets everywhere! But I see real brilliance brewing in your class. There’s a spark there that I can’t quite place.”
Neil. I thought. From the brief interaction I had had with him, I saw his friends treat him with reverence; even Charlie- the social dynamo that he was- seemed to look at him with respect. Neil’s very presence must have stirred up inspiration in his peers.
“I agree.” I smiled. “I think even the quiet ones will surprise you.”
“Yes, indeed. Though, I quite like that Dalton boy, loud-mouthed as he may be. He reminds me so much of myself at that age. Eager to entertain.”
“Charlie’s lovely.” I swirled some pasta around my fork, reminiscing our earlier conversation. “A boy was giving me a little trouble earlier today, and he saved me.”
“What kind of trouble?” Dad paused, fork raised, his face suddenly grave.
“Nothing serious.” I said quickly. “He wanted me to join his study group, and said something insulting about one of the boys in my group when he found out I already had one.
“Oh. How unpleasant.” He relaxed and took his bite of pasta.
“Mhm. I stood up for him, though.”
“You always were one to do that.” He smiled proudly.
“I suppose I am. I had a disagreement with Overstreet before class when he threw a paper ball at that boy who sneezes a lot.”
“Spencer Poindexter.”
“Poindexter?!”
“Yes, you heard right. You won’t forget that one in a hurry, will you?”
“No. Poor guy.” I shook my head, feeling a rush of empathy for the kid. He must have had a terrible time growing up. “That reminds me, though-” I pinched the bridge of my nose in embarrassment. “I forgot Todd Anderson’s name earlier. Called him ‘Tom.’ It was terrible, he went bright red… looked like he was malfunctioning. He’d only just been introduced too! Oh, gosh, it was so bad!”
“That’s not that bad.” Dad chuckled. “You’ll worry yourself to death if you let yourself get hung up on a little thing like that.”
“I suppose it could have happened to anyone…” I mumbled, face hot with remembered embarrassment.
“Exactly. Anderson seems like a forgiving kind, anyway. You’ll make amends in time.”
“Yes, I hope so.” It would be so awkward to spend time with Neil if his roommate hates me.
We ate in silence for a while. I soaked up the piano melodies like gravy into bread, letting them draw my mind away to ballroom scenes of slow dancing with Neil at a senior prom we’d never have. I was just scraping up the last bits of bacon and was about to dig into my creme brulee when Dad spoke up again.
“So, about this crush we were discussing earlier…”
“Oh, stop!” I exclaimed in hushed tones, as if Neil might have had his ear pressed up to the door. “Forget I said anything.”
“Now, Clare, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about.” He soothed.
“There’s everything to be embarrassed about!” I let my fork clatter into my bowl. “I’ve barely said a word to him! I shouldn’t even be feeling like this, anyway. It’s against school rules. Rules that you are supposed to enforce, by the way.”
“I am aware of that. And, as such, if I catch you fooling around, officially I should report you. So it’s of the utmost importance that you don’t give me or any of the staff any reason to suspect a thing.”
“There’s not going to be any fooling around!” I took out my agitation on the crispy top of the creme brulee and shoved a spoonful into my mouth.
“Well, you say that now.” He ran his spoon along the top of his dessert, taking great pleasure in the scraping sound, then struck it once with the back of the spoon, creating a satisfying crack. “Anyway, a clandestine love affair is a good thing at this age. It’ll build character and fuel your poetry. You’ll write the best poems of your life before you’re twenty-five.”
“Mmph!” I buried my face in my hands.
“Who is it?”
“Who is it?” I looked up in horror.
“Yeah.” He rested his cheek on his hand like a gossiping schoolkid. “Tell me.”
I looked at him long and hard, searching his eyes for a glimpse of just what he planned to do with this information. Turning up nothing, I said the only thing I could think of.
“Absolutely not. You’ll have to guess.”
“Guess?”
“Yes, go on. You got three strikes, then you can’t ask me again for a week.”
“Okay, okay.” He thought for a moment. “The obvious guess would be Dalton.”
I hesitated.
“Well, no… Charlie is really wonderful, but, well… it’s not him. It might be simpler if it was him. I mean, at least I’ve had a proper conversation with him, and he makes me laugh, and he seems… Well, maybe the flirting is compulsive.”
“Hm, not Charlie. There goes my one informed guess. Meeks?”
“No. He’s lovely, but no.”
He looked out the window and thought for a moment.
“Anderson?”
I hesitated again, though this time I couldn’t put my finger on why.
“No, not Anderson.”
“Darn. Y’know, if you told me, I might be able to help.”
“Help how?”
“I could reassign seats, pair you two up for assignments… recommend him love poetry.”
“No! No, thank you.” I said hurriedly, getting to my feet. “I think I’ll handle this just fine on my own. Now, I really should go and meet Neil. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Neil!” Oh no. “Neil Perry! The one who sits in front of the Pitts boy, with the big brown eyes. I thought of him straight away, but I couldn’t for the life of me remember his name!”
“It’s not him.”
“Oh, yes it is.” He grinned, absolutely cheesed. “I can tell by the panic in your eyes. Not to worry, Clare, my lips are sealed and I will take no action without your go-ahead.”
“It’s not!”
“Okay, sweetheart.” He said unconvincingly, got up and kissed me on the cheek, and handed me the rest of my creme brulee. “Take this to your room, you can eat it later. Though, I’m sure you’ll get enough sugar to last you elsewhere. Now, go have fun.”
“It’s. Not. Him.” I said emphatically before giving him a quick hug. “Good night.”

Moon Boys as Subject Teachers
Warnings: None that I know of
Author’s Snip: This was inspired by @ominoose's post for Oscar Issac characters as school subjects teachers so shoutout to them for the inspo.
I’ll shut up now. Enjoy! And don’t be afraid to request.
Steven Grant - History & English/Literature
A bit of an obvious choice but there's a reason
Steven 100% is a favorite amongst the students
He actually makes learning history and reading fun for them because he talks so enthusiastically about everything in each unit and finds ways to let the kids engage in what's happening
He tries his best to personalize the lessons with either making a worksheet for it to help the kids take in the knowledge or make a slide show for demonstration and visualizing what's being said
His slideshows are actually very iconic because he makes sure they look nice so that the kids will pay attention to them. He has an occasional outdated meme but you know what he's trying and the kids know that
Steven's classroom is also very decorated with both posters that he bought or ones made by students (matter of fact poster making is an extra credit thing if you need it)
He's very attentive to his students and believes that it's crucial for teaching. If a student is struggling then he gladly helps them and works on finding a way to help them learn the lessons in their own way, and if they need to spend some time after school then he'd be happy to stay and see what they need
Steven hates having to be strict and disciplinary but if he needs to then he will.
If a kid misses an assignment's deadline it's okay as long as they give him a heads-up and they turn it in before a unit is done or something. But if someone is actively not doing their homework or assigned work then he will have a talk with them and give them detention if need be and make them do that work
As for troublemakers who disrupt the class he does the whole politely telling them to quiet down or stop, to telling them more sternly, to standing outside till he tells them to come back in, and then the final strike is sending them to the office
On a lighter note, Steven is definitely the kind of teacher to let students eat in his classroom during lunch as long as they don't make a mess and clean after themselves and actually uses that to get to know the kids outside of the lessons
I firmly believe that Steven has talked to the school about creating a book club of some kind so that kids can be in an environment that treats reading as an activity you can do rather than something you NEED to do and sort of does the same with his literature and english students
For example, my senior year English teacher had us do fifteen minute reading time at the beginning of class each day with a book we checked out at the library. I feel like he'd do something like that
But anyway, yeah, he's definitely petitioned to have a book club or some other club similar to that
Marc Spector - Math
I actually see him being more of a student counselor but I just get this weird sense that if I had to pick a subject that he would teach then I'd say math like algebra, calculus, and geometry, for some reason
I don't know he just seems like he's good at math and would be fine with teaching it
His class, despite being a math class, isn't so bad.
Marc's one of those chill teachers who teaches what he needs to and lets the students do their own thing so long as it's not causing any trouble
The first half of class is him teaching the students a new formula, how to do it, how it applies to the world and stuff and then he writes some equations on the board for the students to solve on their own on a piece of paper that they give to him at the end of class just to confirm that they were listening
He's not an easy A exactly. He is when you actually try and listen though
Marc hardly has rules to be honest, they're basic as hell. His class rules are just "Pay attention, do your classwork and homework, yes you are allowed to use a calculator if you need/want to, yes they are allowed on tests, show your work on the sheet or a piece of paper as long as you write your name on it and staple it to the worksheet, don't cheat on your tests, and don't disrupt the class"
He's also very lenient on things. You can listen to music while you work so long as he isn't actively teaching. You can chew gum so long as you aren't chewing or blowing it loudly and sticking it on the desks. You can freely talk to your friends and classmates as long as you aren't bugging them, being loud, or doing it while he is teaching.
Due to the free talking he knows all the gossip around school simply because the kids will be talking about it while they work
He says he doesn't care/isn't into gossip but he secretly moves the kids who gossip toward his desk so that he can hear it while he works at his desk when he changes up the seating chart every once in a while
On top of that he gets to know his students because he will walk around the classroom to stretch his legs and will start small talk with the kids that sometimes leads to full conversations
Marc is very no-nonsense or slacking off though. If a kid is not doing their work then he tells them to start doing it or else they'll need to do it at home along with their homework if they don't get it done at the end of class. As for troublemakers, he just sends them out or to the office since he's learned that more want the attention
Jake Lockley - PE
I know a lot of people say that Jake would be a Spanish/foreign language teacher, and I can see that, but to me, this man gives off PE teacher energy (in a good way)
Jake is sort of the tough love kind of PE teacher that still makes the kids do the activities but he's not cruel
He also doesn't just stand there. If he can he will do the exercises with the kids so that they don't try and be a smart ass with him. He will run the mile with the kids but stays behind so that no one can walk it while he's not looking. It also helps boost the confidence of the kids who don't run as fast and fall behind by being there and praising them for keeping it going
"You're going great. It's about being active not pushing yourself."
If a student feels sick or is on their period and having cramps he'll ask how bad it is and depending on how severe it is he'll let them sit out on that day if it's bad or walk a few laps around the track if they can. "Just as long as you're doing something, okay?"
He's not an idiot though. If they use the sick or period card too many times and it doesn't add up then he calls them out and tells them to do the activity
"Matter of fact, do double because you think I'm stupid."
Jake also isn't oblivious to the fact that he's "the hot teacher" that the female teachers and students blush and giggle at. Of course, he doesn't do anything about either because it's unprofessional and one is a literal crime
But he's not dumb. He knows that some teachers check him out while he's running and exercising with the kids outside
Jake is a part of after-school/extracurricular programs too.
He's definitely a coach for one of the school's sports teams, he finds it to be a great way to give kids something to do after school instead of running around and possibly causing trouble. Jake also likes seeing the kids who've got something going for them and encourages them to do something with it
He also loves seeing all the other clubs and extracurriculars too and is so supportive.
Cheer and dance team going to a competition? Knock 'em dead!
Theatre doing a production? He's buying a ticket and encourages his students and players to go if they can.
Speech and Debate off to a tournament? The other schools have no idea what's coming.
He's sending his love to all of them
Taglist: @my-secret-shame-but-fanfiction (I forgot to add this, also my applications are open just ask lol)

MW2 CHARACTERS: School AU
[sfw] cw(s): none !!! As a girlie who has been reading fanfiction for god knows how long, it was inevitable that I came through with a High/Secondary School AU. As a reminder, I don’t know shit abt the British school system so we’re going with my experiences with the American public school system. enjoy dovies <3
Ghost is that one upperclassman in every single one of your co-grade classes that just sits there. He doesn’t say a damn word and you don’t even see him writing down any notes, but somehow, he has the best grades in the whole fucking school. Principal’s honor roll, scholarship recognization galore.
It takes so long for you to work up the courage to talk to him and ask him for help on an assignment and when he admits he doesn’t know they had an assignment to do, you’re a bit dumbfounded. You realize that he quite literally just sits there and vibes the entire time. He proceeds to turn back to the window and stare out of it.
Eventually he warms up to you, though. It takes, like, three months of pestering him until he actively begins conversations with you and you find yourself with a very stoic cheat sheet. He has kept all of his tests and is perfectly fine with just giving you them bc what are morals???
Gaz is the local “i know him but we aren’t friends” kid. Literally everybody knows his name, he’s on the school’s soccer (football, i guess) team and is relatively well known as a nice person, but he only has a few close friends. His grades are also insanely high, you don’t understand how he manages to ace every test while also spending most of his time practicing sports.
He’s the type of person to forget a pencil, however, and usually ends up leaning over to whoever is next to him and asking for one. He usually gives it back, unless it’s someone he doesn’t particularly like. When he tries to give it back to you and you just tell him to keep it, he likes you automatically.
He’s always inviting you to watch his games after the two of you get closer. He also sits with you during shared study halls or lunches regardless of if you or he has other friends in the lunch. Gaz is also the type of person to lean over and ask if you wanna share the copy of an assignment document or swap essays to proofread.
Soap is absolutely the really loud jock kid that people either really like or really hate, and there’s just no in-between (i’m so sorry Foap 😭). Despite this, he’s actually one of those really nice sport boys that will start punching if someone disrespects his friends. He’s also in an abundance of art classes.
In class you can see him scribbling down notes until he gets bored and starts just doodling in his notebook, tuning out the lecture. However, if your science teacher decides today is not a teaching day and puts on something like Bill Nye or The Magic School Bus, he is enraptured. Is also the person to quietly chant “Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill!” during the theme song. Used to hate the Amoeba Sisters until he binged their videos before his Biology final lol.
You start being friends with him on complete accident after you help him with a question on a pop quiz. He gave you puppy eyes! How could you refuse! He proceeds to talk to you the next day like the two of you are best friends and you are now stuck with him until graduation. But hey! You basically have a bodyguard now.
Price is an Honors English and AP Literature teacher through and through. He originally wanted to be a history teacher, but the English position was open and he took it with little complaint. He’s absolutely the teacher you can launch into tangents for the entire class and will take half a point off of your essays for misusing a comma.
If you're his favorite student, he tends to grade your FRQs and other assignments much harsher than he would others, but it ends with you having well rounded essay skills afterwards and acing your assignments later in the year. Will let you hang out in his room during your study halls and is always open to helping you on assignments if you ask.
Hangs thank you notes from students on his walls, has a wild collection of them and shows them off any time another teacher asks him about them. Has cried reading some from students he liked having in his classes.
Laswell is a Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus professor. Idc what u think she is absolutely a math teacher and would absolutely have a doctorate. People who don't like math probably go into her class also not liking her, but come out at the end of the year wanting to be in her class next year.
If you're one of her favorite students, she absolutely gives you little notes on your graded tests like 'good job :)' and always says she's proud of you if your grades improve during the year. She also lets you and your friends eat lunch in her room because she understands why you'd rather be in a math room than the cafeteria.
Has never been seen without a coffee during the first four periods of the day and a random beverage during the last three. She always has a drink with her and it's become a bit of a game between a few of her students. Sometimes she'll give someone who asks a drink as well. A student she particularly liked tried to pay her to bring them coffee; she gave them their money back and brought them a coffee.
Nikolai is a history teacher that also coaches the school golf team. And yes, golf team; that man radiates golf energy and I cannot be told otherwise. He doesn't understand the kids' obsession with things like Kahoot, but makes them because it keeps kids engaged with the class and mostly keeps grades up.
Being one of Nikolai's favorite students is hard if you don't golf, but if you are a favorite, he tends to give you extensions of assignments if you're struggling to find time/motivation. Also will give you candy under the table if you win a Kahoot, or if you visit him during a study hall he will also give you candy. He gives out Smarties (the American version) because he thinks the name is funny.
If you show interest in learning Russian and ask him how to roll your Rs or how to pronounce the Cyrillic letters, he will automatically like you more than the others. As long as he feels like you're earnestly learning it out of interest and not just to make him like you, that is. If you already know Russian he'll like you anyway. Sometimes it's nice to speak his native tongue.

I'm fucking crying in the club... My teacher just wrote me this super nice birthday ESSAY in simple Chinese so I can understand... It says:
"Happy birthday! Even though you have to work today, I hope it's a happy day!
I'm so happy to be able to teach you Chinese. In this (more than a) year, I've seen you use Chinese more and more confidently to fluently express your thoughts. We can also discuss deeper topics - you really improved a lot! I appreciate that you came to Taiwan all by yourself and then outside of work spend so much mental energy studying Chinese, it actually inspires me to work harder on practicing English.
You are my student, but I feel like we're more like good friends. Every week I always look forward to having class with you, hearing all about your work and life. You're really passionate about education and you also really love your students and spend so much time thinking about how to help them learn. I can sense that the atmosphere in your own classes must be lively and easy-going. Your students are lucky to have met you!
I hope this new year of your life is an enriching and happy one and that you enjoy each day. I'm looking forward to every class with you and I'll continue to help you practice your Chinese!"

What subject AOT vets would teach
(Erwin, Levi, Hange, Miche, Pixis, Hannes, Nile)
Erwin: He teaches English and AP Government. He has first, second, and third period English and teaches fourth period AP Gov. He also wears a tie to school every day and does Sudoku or cross words during class and passing periods. Has the lunch ladies put his lunch in the fridge since it's colder than the mini fridge he has in his classroom, and everyone says hi to him or talks to him on his way back to class. Watch the history channel after school and during lunch.
Levi: Slightly strict History teacher that everyone loves. If you ask him a stupid question, he'll respond with, “I'm not answering useless questions.” Doesn't hesitate to send people to the principal, but never really gives detention because he doesn't want to stay after school with a bunch of teenagers in his classroom. But if you ask him for help or tell him you don't understand something, he will stay after school to help you understand the work. Has the best test scores in the school.
Hange: Biology teacher that somehow still has a job. They've had so many accidents during experiments that they have a helper teacher (Moblit) in their classroom to keep them from blowing up the school. Yes. They do experiments that could cause explosions. In a biology class. Don't ask. Has an entire snack drawer, microwave, coffee machine, and kettle of water with hot chocolate packets in a basket next to it, in their classroom. Is seen as the 'cool teacher' and always has people sitting in their classroom during lunch.
Miche: Super cool math teacher whose class students always request to switch into. Teaching style makes it super easy for everyone to understand and is super nice. He also gives great advice and when girls spray themselves in body mist before class ends, he doesn't get upset. When grading tests, he writes little notes like 'your shoes were cool that day' or 'I liked your shirt that day' Also has the best test scores and grades out of all the math teachers.
Pixis: Law teacher who uses his own charges as what not to do. Also gets a lot of parking/ speeding tickets and complains about how cops are dicks. Never gives a grade below a C- because "at least you tried” Has something called 'movie Thursday and Friday' where at the end of class on Wednesdays everyone votes for a movie then the last half of class on Thursday and all class Friday (sometimes all of Thursday and Friday depending on the movie length) he puts of a movie for everyone to watch.
Hannes: "Teaches" Statistics, but he actually just uses it as a free period and everyone passes his class. Since he's good friends with Eren, Mikasa, and Armin's parents, the three of them hang out in his classroom the period before lunch since their teacher lets them out like half an hour early so she can go on her own lunch break early. His entire chalk board is covered in drawings, and for some reason has a fridge with every juice you can think of. (He says it helps with hangovers)
Nile: Finance teacher. Strict grader and gets asked about Erwin since people know that they went to high school together. He may be a strict grader and give a lot of homework, but his tests and pop quizzes are a piece of cake. Has a box of saltine crackers on his desk for some reason and always has Werther's Originals with him where ever he goes. Has the WORST coffee breath and only drinks one cup of black coffee all day.

Alice and Jasper belong to their rightful creator.
They may feel out of character, I tried to prompt the ai to make the scenes and characters feel realistic. Minority revised and edited by me. Used DreamGen.com for anyone who wants to try
Our Little - An Alice/Jasper x Little Reader AI generated fanfiction
(Y/n) moved to Forks Washington midway through their senior year, which meant that they had been living in a hotel for the past few days since their mom’s house wasn't ready yet. This week had been a total bore, all they did was drive, unpack, eat, and go to sleep. But today was a new day, today was going to be full of fun!
They’d finally attend their new school and actually move into their house.
They got dressed in their school and weather appropriate outfit of warm leggings, short overalls with a daisy on the pocket, and a thin light gray sweater. It was pretty chilly but not unbearable, the sweater would fit nicely indoors and out.
Finally, they walked to school, seeing other students loitering and hollering on the streets to each other, some walking to class, others waiting for the bell in their groups. (Y/N) went into the main office and met the administrator, who gave them their schedule. They were surprised at how nice and easy their classes were. They thanked the lady for helping them out, then went to their first class, Math. They loved math.
As they entered the classroom, everyone stopped talking and stared at them. It was awkward.
“Hi,” they greeted shyly, trying not to look at anyone in particular. They rushed to the teacher, sat at his desk, and held out the paper they’d gotten from the office to quickly tell teachers ‘this is your transfer’. The teacher smiled, and they relaxed a bit. He directed them to a desk in the middle of the class, and they took it, smiling nervously at their surrounding classmates.
Thankfully, the teacher called the roll, and then started teaching.
(Y/N) couldn’t help but feel like someone's eyes kept passing over them throughout the entire class. But they brushed it off as new student nerves.
When the bell rang, (Y/N) dared a glance around the room and caught the most beautiful pair of eyes. Brown? No… gold. They were warm and inviting, and (Y/N) could see the smile hidden behind them. Then the boy actually smiled at them, and it made (Y/N) feel butterflies in their stomach. His eyes were so kind and welcoming.
They waved shyly, eyes quickly averting to not stare too much at the boy. They could feel their cheeks burning.
They left the class quickly, forcing the boy out of their mind and continuing through the day. They found English, Home Ed, and History passed by with nothing happening until the lunch bell rang, and they got lost trying to find their locker.
When they finally got there, ten minutes after the start of the break, they were so confused about how to open it, they were just staring blankly at it until they heard a voice behind them.
Alice and Jasper had met up as soon as their fourth hour ended, both already knowing where the other would be. Edward was soon to join them, telling Alice about the drama he’d “over heard” in PE.
Jasper paid half a mind to the chatter, eyes cruising the hall for… for them, he realized the second his eyes locked into the target that he even had a target.
They stood down the hall, a frustrated furrow in their eyebrows and a slight quiver in their lower lip. Alice spotted his sight of vision, following the look down the hallway and
Blink
Alive opened her eyes to a wild green field, weather warm but not quite blooming spring. In front of her was a shorter stature, they wore a pink dress, white tights, and black Mary Jane’s. They looked so cute, and so familiar. Jasper stood beside Alice, holding onto a book in one hand while reaching out to their mate with the other.
Alive’s eyes snapped open. “Jasper!”
Jasper blinked, his eyes meeting hers. “What?”
“I just had a vision! I saw them, with us, together. They’re so cute!”
Edward mind read Alice, he couldn't block out the excited emotions so of course he saw the vision that came along with it. “I saw it too! You two have to go over there, they’re upset.”
Jasper looked down the hall, eyes locking on to them, then smiled at Alice and nodded to himself. “Come on then, we better go.”
Alice and Jasper went to (Y/N), catching them staring confused at their locker.
“Hey,” Alice greeted them cheerfully, “do you need help? We can show you how to use your pin!” Alice gestures to their hands, half fiddling with the lock still and half using it to avoid slowing their flushed face.
“Oh, um... yeah, sure!” They answered shyly, feeling their cheeks redden. Alice and Jasper both smiled warmly at them.
“We can walk you to the cafeteria, too, if you want! Those lines get confusing”
(Y/N) nodded gratefully, and they followed the couple down the hall once her locker was shut. Jasper had to stop himself from reaching out and picking them up, he didn’t want to scare them away. They were so adorable, and they smelled like vanilla.
When the three reached the cafeteria, Jasper held the door open for Alice and (Y/N) to enter first. “Thank you,” (Y/N) whispered to him, a warm smile playing at her lips. Jasper’s heart skipped a beat.
“Of course, bubs,” Jasper easily responds, finding their empty table and going Alice and (Y/N) to it. The three sat down, Alice on their side and Jasper in front. They had their teal lunch box on the table, but hadn’t moved to pick anything up. Instead, (Y/N) was looking across the room to a bookshelf filled with various titles and a small paper stating they were freebies the library was tossing.
“What book is that?” They asked, pointing at a decorative cover with green vines and orange hues. Alice looked over to the shelf.
“It looks like a fantasy novel,” Alice replied, grinning. (Y/N) turned their attention to Alice, her lips forming an ‘oh’ like it was shocking. Alice smiled and pointed to the bookshelf again. “Want me to get it for you?”
“Oh, um, yeah sure!” (Y/N) answered shyly, a blush creeping up on their face. Alice giggled and stood up, making her way to the shelf. Jasper watched her go with a fond smile on his face, she’s so perfect. Alice returned to the table with the book in her hands, handing it to (Y/N).
“Here you go!” She exclaimed, sitting back down.
“Thanks!” (Y/N) replied, accepting the book. Jasper glanced over at the clock on the wall, and then to Alice.
Alice was thinking the same thing, one of the wipes from her bag already running over the top of (Y/N)’s water bottle and silverware .
“So what’s the book about?” Jasper asked, sitting back down. (Y/N)’s eyes lit up at the question, they had been so absorbed in the description of the book they definitely didn’t see Alice’s actions.
“Um, it’s about a girl named Ella who gets cursed by a wicked witch. She’s turned into a frog, and the only way to break the curse is to find true love’s kiss!” (Y/N) replied excitedly. Alice pulled out a pack of carrots, ranch dip, and a ham sandwich from the lunch bag, setting it in front of them.
“That sounds like a good read!” Alice said, the both of them smiling at (Y/N)’s reaction. Jasper leaned forward, elbows on the table, and rested his chin on his hands.
“So, what’s your name?” Jasper asked, even though he’d heard it during the roster.
“Oh, um, it’s (Y/N). What’s yours?”
“Jasper.” He smiled at them, and (Y/N) grinned back. Alice was already thinking about what to make for tomorrow’s lunch, but she knew she shouldn’t rush it.
They talked for a bit longer, until (Y/N) started to subconsciously snack on the carrots in front of them. By the time they’d started their sandwich, they barely talked, just enjoyed listening to Alice and Jasper.
After a while, Alice glanced at the clock again and saw that it was almost time for the bell. “Oops! We should get going,” Alice said, standing up.
“Yeah, I need to get to my next class,” (Y/N) replied, finishing their sandwich. Jasper stood up as well, putting the trash in the bin and picking up the napkins. Alice grabbed (Y/N)’s book and lunchbox. “Thanks for helping me out!” (Y/N) said, smiling.
“Of course, sweetheart,” Alice reassured, her free arm wrapping around (Y/N) with a gentle squeeze. “We’ll always be here to help, just find us if you need anything,” she added, giving them another squeeze before letting go.
(Y/N) smiled gratefully, and then followed the two out of the cafeteria. They walked together to (Y/N)’s next class, Alice leading the way.
“You guys are so nice,” (Y/N) said shyly, looking between the two of them. “I’m just glad I found people to hang out with,” (Y/N) mumbled, looking down at their shoes from the heaviness of their emotions.
“Aww, you’ll find plenty of friends here, I promise,” Jasper said, smiling at them. He could feel the insecurities boiling under the surface and met them with a cormforting warmth that matched his words.
“I hope so,” (Y/N) replied, smiling back.
Alice led them to the door of the classroom, and (Y/N) smiled up at her. “Thank you so much for helping me today, I really appreciate it!”
Alice grinned and squeezed their shoulder. “No problem, sweetie,” she said, ruffling their hair gently. “We’ll see you after school?”
(Y/N) nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah, I’ll definitely come find you! Thanks again, I’m.. imma go now!” (Y/N) said, rushing into the classroom. Alice and Jasper shared a look before leaving the hallway.
“We should ask them out,” Jasper said.
“Hmm, I think we should wait a little longer,” Alice replied, thinking about the fact that they’d only known them for one day. “But I want to get to know them better,” Alice admitted, a playful smirk on her face. Jasper chuckled.
“Me too,” he agreed, “I’ll make sure to be near them after school.”
“Okay, I’ll do the same,” Alice said, smiling. “And we can take turns walking them between classes.”
“Good idea,” Jasper grinned, “I’ll start with their first class tomorrow.”
Alice nodded and they left for their next class.
The next few days went by in the best ways. Alice and Jasper walked (Y/N) to and from classes, making sure to arrive early so they could sit next to them. (Y/N) would hold onto their arm, sometimes leaning into them when the day got stressful. Jasper would hold (Y/N)’s hand, letting his emotions influence their own.
(Y/N) didn’t mind the attention. It was nice having someone there for them, and they enjoyed the company. Alice and Jasper were both so kind and understanding, and they were so easy to talk to. They didn’t mind when (Y/N) got upset and started crying, instead of pushing them away they pulled them closer, offering comforting words.
One day, after Alice helped them to their locker and Jasper helped them with the lock, they started walking outside with serious-ish looks.
“Hey,” Alice started, her voice betraying her nerves.
“Hey,” (Y/N) echoed, their smile faltering a little.
“Can we ask you something?” Jasper asked, looking down at them.
“Sure,” (Y/N) replied, her innocent eyes meeting his.
“Do you want to go out with us?” Alice asked, her chest filling with hope.
“Oh!” (Y/N) exclaimed, their cheeks turning pink. “Yes! That would be so cool.”
“Great!” Alice smiled, relief flooding through her. Jasper laughed.
“What do you want to do?” Alice asked, wanting to hear their thoughts.
“Um, I don’t know,” (Y/N) replied, looking between the two of them. “Maybe go somewhere after school?”
“Like a park?” Alice suggested, hoping it wasn’t too obvious.
“Yeah! That would be fun!” (Y/N) replied enthusiastically.
“Perfect, we’ll see you after school then!” Alice smiled, relieved and excited.
“Yeah, we’ll see you later!” Jasper chimed in, giving (Y/N)’s arm a squeeze and letting them enter their final class.
By the hour’s end, Alice had the trio comfortable in the car, and excited for the park. Jasper was driving, and Alice was in the passenger seat. Instead of attending their own class, the two had planned out a simple picnic. Alice had made some sandwiches and brought a blanket, packed extra sweaters and water bottles. More than they’d need for any outing.
“This is so cool!” (Y/N) exclaimed, looking out the window at the trees passing by.
“I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself,” Alice smiled, her eyes meeting Jasper’s. He smiled back, his eyes never leaving the road.
“We’re here!” (Y/N) gasped, their face lighting up.
“We are!” Jasper exclaimed, parking the car and glancing at them in the rear view mirror.
“I’m so excited!” (Y/N) squealed, their face lighting up. “Can we get out?” (Y/N) asked, looking at Alice hopefully.
“Of course! Just be careful, okay?” Alice replied, already in motion to open the door for them.
“Thanks!” (Y/N) said, hopping out of the car and heading towards the park entrance.
“Have fun!” Alice called, Jasper following close behind.
Once the two had entered the park, Alice and Jasper found a bench under a tree, despite the cloudy weather, and settled down. Alice pulled out the basket and started unpacking.
“Is everything okay?” (Y/N) asked after a while of fun, looking between the two of them nervously as she approached the table.
“Of course,” Alice reassured, handing them a sandwich. “We love spending time with you.”
“Oh,” (Y/N) replied, sitting down and shyly looking down at their plate with the realization that the couple only watched them have fun. “Thanks.”
“It’s our pleasure,” Jasper chimed in, handing them a water bottle. (Y/N) took it with a smile, thanking him.
“Is there anything you want to talk about? Or any questions you might have?” Alice asked, trying to think of ways to make them feel comfortable.
“Not really,” (Y/N) replied, shaking their head. “Actually, I do have a question.”
“Okay, go ahead,” Alice replied, smiling encouragingly.
“How long have you known each other?” (Y/N) asked, curious.
“Oh, we’ve known each other for quite a while now,” Alice replied, glancing at Jasper. He smiled at her and nodded.
“About 40 years now,” he replied, smiling.
“Wow! That’s so long!” (Y/N) replied, earning a chuckle from the pair. Clearly, they didn’t question ‘40 years’ for two ‘high schoolers’.
“Yeah, we’ve known each other a very long time,” Jasper replied, smiling at Alice.
“Well, I’m glad I met you,” (Y/N) said, smiling to herself and eating a couple chips from the plate in front of her like she didn’t just tell the couple the greatest thing they’d heard.
“We’re glad too,” Alice replied, smiling. “Why don’t we go swing for a bit?” She asked, getting up and holding out her hand for (Y/N) to take.
(Y/N) accepted the hand and got up, following Alice to the swings. Jasper watched the pair as they got onto the swingset, Alice sitting down on the swing next to (Y/N).
“They are so cute,” Jasper muttered to himself, though he knew Alice could hear, and smiled at them from the distance.
(Y/N) giggled as her swing got a little momentum, Alice’s hand pushing their back with her own swings.
“Look at me!” (Y/N) exclaimed, raising a hand from the swing’s chain to wave at Jasper. Jasper brought his own hand to wave back before
Boom!
(Y/N), faster than even the vampires could react and faster than they thought human, slipped from the swing and meets the ground. They scrape their knee and scratch their elbow.
“Are you okay?” Alice asked, jumping from her seat and rushing over to (Y/N).
“I,” they take in a sharp breath. “I dunno, tha’ hurt.” They admit, tears beginning to well in their eyes.
“Let me check it,” Alice replied, kneeling beside them.
“I’m fine,” (Y/N) insisted, but they weren’t really. Their lip was starting to quiver as they tried to fight off the pain.
“Come here,” Jasper said, pulling (Y/N) into a tight hug. Alice readjusted beside them, and rubbed their back.
“Shh, it’s okay,” Alice whispered, her voice soothing.
“I’m fine,” (Y/N) insisted, but their body betrayed them, and they began to cry. Jasper tightened his grip on them, and Alice continued to rub their back.
“It’s okay, baby,” Jasper whispered, his voice softening. “Just relax, I’ve got you.”
(Y/N) whimpered, their body trembling in Jasper’s arms. Jasper felt her anxiety in waves and offered his own comforts while Alice whispered more words of comfort.
“Shh, it’s okay,” she repeated, her voice gentle. “You’re safe.” She continued rubbing their back, and (Y/N) relaxed a little more in Jasper’s arms.
“I’m sorry,” (Y/N) sniffled, their voice muffled against Jasper’s shoulder.
“Don’t be sorry,” Alice reassured, continuing to rub their back. “It’s okay to cry. We’re here for you, it’s okay to be upset.”
(Y/N) nodded, sniffling again. “I’m sorry,” they repeated, their voice even more muffled.
“You don’t have to apologize,” Jasper replied, his arms still tight around (Y/N). “Crying is normal, and it’s okay.”
“I just wish I didn’t fall,” (Y/N) sniffled. “I’m so embarrassed.”
“Why would you be embarrassed?” Alice asked, confused.
“Because I fell,” (Y/N) replied, their voice hitching. “In front of you guys.”
“You’re not supposed to feel embarrassed for falling,” Jasper explained. “It happens, and you’re okay. We’re here for you.”
(Y/N) nodded, sniffling again. “I’m sorry,” they repeated.
“You don’t have to be sorry, bubs,” Jasper assured, rubbing circles on (Y/N)’s back.
After wiping the last of their tears away, Alice suggested they go back to their meal. Jasper held (Y/N)’s hand as they walked back to the table, and Alice helped them get settled and covered in a sweater for the incoming breeze.
“Do you want some bandages?” Alice asked, smiling at (Y/N).
“Yeah, thanks,” (Y/N) replied, smiling.
“I’ll be right back,” Alice smiled, getting up and grabbing her ever present bag. “Here you go,” she said, opening the paper packaging and placing the flower print adhesive around their sore knee.
(Y/N) smiled gratefully and thanked her, and the three of them finished their lunch in peace. After they’d eaten, Alice decided to bring up the thing they all knew but hadn’t established.
“So... are you a little?” Alice asked, her eyebrows raised.
“Um...” (Y/N) looked at Jasper before responding. “I guess.”
“You guess?” Jasper asked, his eyebrows furrowing.
“Well, I’ve never been around anyone who knows about it,” (Y/N) replied, looking down at their food and trying to convince themself it wasn’t a big deal they’d just said that.
“That makes sense,” Alice replied, smiling. “I’m sorry for putting you on the spot. If you don’t want to talk about it right now, that’s okay.”
(Y/N) shook their head, their eyes flickering between Alice’s and Jasper’s. “No, it’s fine. I’m just a little nervous talking about it.”
Jasper replied, his expression softening. “If you need us to stop or slow down, just let us know.”
“Thanks,” (Y/N) replied, smiling gratefully. “I guess I am a little, but I’m not sure what kind yet.”
“That’s okay,” Alice reassured. “I think we’re all different, and we can figure out what works for you together. Do you want to try something?”
“Sure,” (Y/N) replied, nodding. “What?”
“Can you try being your littlespace for a bit?” Alice asked, smiling. “We won’t push you, and we’ll be here for you. Just let us know if you’re uncomfortable.”
(Y/N) hesitated, unsure if they were ready to try it yet, but they couldn’t deny how much they enjoyed being around them. “Okay,” they replied, smiling. “But I don’t know how to go back.”
“That’s okay,” Alice reassured. “You can just relax, and we’ll help guide you back.”
(Y/N) nodded, closing their eyes and taking a deep breath. They knew it wasn’t a request for this exact moment, but their body seemed to respond to the idea before their permission, and they felt themselves shrinking a little. They blinked their eyes, l their vision distorted and blurry. They hadn’t changed at all, but the trees felt taller and their guard wasn’t forced much.
Alice and Jasper noticed immediately and stopped talking.
“Are you okay?” Alice asked, her voice calm.
“I’m okay,” (Y/N) replied, their voice sounding littler to the two.
“What happened?” Jasper asked, concern evident in his voice.
“I don’t know,” (Y/N) replied, their voice still higher pitched and slightly muffled. “I was just thinking about it, and I guess I went into my littlespace.”
“That’s okay,” Alice replied, smiling at them. “You’re doing great.”
“Yeah,” Jasper agreed, smiling at them too. “We’re here for you.”
(Y/N) smiled gratefully at them and relaxed a little more, feeling less anxious and more secure in the safety of their presence. Alice and Jasper watched them for a few moments, making sure they were comfortable.
“Feeling okay?” Alice asked, her tone warm and welcoming.
“Yeah, I’m good,” (Y/N) replied, smiling.
“Then I think you should finish the last couple bites of your plate,” Jasper suggested, smiling at them.
(Y/N) nodded, and Alice handed them their serving. She watched them eat the rest of their food and then picked up the plate, wiping it clean and placing it in the basket.
“Ready to play?” Alice asked, smiling at them.
(Y/N) nodded, smiling back. “Okay!”
“Great! Then let’s head to the playground,” Jasper replied, grinning. “We can play on the jungle gym, you want to climb around?”
“That sounds like fun!” (Y/N) replied, their eyes lighting up.
“It’s a deal,” Alice agreed, smiling at them. “Let’s go.”
The three of them got up and headed towards the playground, stopping briefly so Alice could pack up her bag.
“Would you like to hold my hand?” Alice asked, offering her hand to (Y/N) as they hesitated on the steps to the monkey bars.
(Y/N) smiled gratefully and took Alice’s hand, climbing up the ladder to the platform. Jasper followed close behind, and Alice held onto (Y/N)’s hand until they reached the top.
“You okay?” Jasper asked, his tone gentle.
“Yeah,” (Y/N) replied, nodding. “I just...” they trailed off, unsure how to explain themselves.
“It’s okay,” Jasper replied, his voice soothing. “We’re here for you. Whatever you need.”
(Y/N) nodded, and Jasper led them to the monkey bar and helped them onto it. (Y/N) gripped the metal bar tightly, their heart pounding in their chest as they started to cross. Alice hover with her arms out behind them, and Jasper stayed right beside them, making sure they didn’t lose their confidence (or grip).
“You’re doing great!” Alice cheered, her voice encouraging.
(Y/N) smiled gratefully, their face flushed with excitement and pride. “Thanks,” they replied, their voice still high pitched and slightly muffled.
“You’re welcome,” Alice replied, smiling proudly. “You’re doing amazing.”
(Y/N) grinned, their mood boosted by Alice’s praise. (Y/N) continued across the monkey bars, their heart beating faster as they neared the end.
“You made it!” Alice cheered, (Y/N) grinned and nodded with her own excitement. They reached the end, and Jasper caught them as they jumped down.
“That was so scary!” (Y/N) laughed in a way that told them was good scary, her face smooshed into Jaspers chest. He spun them around a few times before setting the little one on their feet.
“That was so cool!” Alice praised, giving them a kiss on the cheek.
“Right?!” (Y/N) replied, beaming. “Thanks for helping me.”
“Of course,” Alice replied, smiling at them. “Now we should probably head home. It’s getting late.”
“Yeah,” Jasper agreed. “Let’s get in the car.”

@oddsydviscous, @thattransboyaled and I have made a fabulous Ghosts highschool AU!
Thomas: Massive theatre kid, is a member of the drama club and is in every play, plays the acoustic guitar in a sappy band. He carries a satchel full of poetry and writes with an actual calligraphy pen. He has a new crush every week.
Kitty: Eats lunch in the art block every day, has had a long-term secret crush her entire time at the school. He's actually some hapless guy in one of the years above who's never spoken to her, but she's convinced herself that they're in love. Really she just wanted to have a crush, rather than actually liking him. She and Thomas are best friends.
Humphrey: Always hangs out in the library with his nose in a book, massive English nerd (the subject, not the nationality). He runs the school magazine and he's very, very shy.
Captain: Also a theatre kid, although less outrageously so, plays the trumpet in the marching band. He's the one who plays the song at the start of every Remembrance Day assembly. CCF Squadron leader. Good at languages. Also on the fencing team and joint head of the cricket team.
Mary: Hopelessly shy, almost never talks unless she's picked on by a teacher, everyone is shocked if she actually speaks. She runs the gardening club, which has a small but loyal group of members. Sometimes she bakes cookies for her close friend group.
Pat: Joint Head of the student council, also Head Boy. He runs a lot of clubs. Nobody is quite sure how he manages to attend all of them. He's not necessarily popular, but nobody actively dislikes him - after all, he's hard not to like. Except for the teachers, that is - no real reason, he gets good grades, but he talks to anyone who's next to him, no matter how many times they move him.
Julian: Typical bad boy. Poor attendance, throws parties every weekend, sticks gum under the desk, vapes in the Maths block toilets. He and Robin sell sweets behind the bike sheds. He has a lot of special offers on, but only if you're cool enough. He's also obscenely rich, but he just wants the money for extra pocket change.
Robin: Physics nerd, struggles with English. He does Julian's homework for him (he blackmails Julian into paying a fiver for each piece, or else he'll snitch). The two of them dominate the chess club. They essentially have an underground black market for contriband going. Somehow they haven't been caught yet.
Fanny: Head girl, Joint Head of the Student Council. Not very popular. She's the teacher's pet and enforces all the rules, even though it's not her job. Everyone hates her, but she gets good grades, especially in Maths. She doesn't really try in any other subject. Always telling people to tuck their shirts in and stop talking. All the Year 7s are scared of her. Her and Pat organise the discos, and she loves textiles class.
Alison: The beloved student counselor and head of Pastoral Care. The students always go to her for help, partially because she keeps a bowl of sweets on her desk. She also teaches PSHE, and she has a lot of pride flags on her wall. She's really into art, and she met Mike by sitting next to him on an art course. Lets kids do mindful colouring the day before their exams.
Mike: The PE teacher who's nice enough, but he's always on his phone and doesn't let you wear a jacket, even when it's freezing cold and he's wearing a scarf. Still, all the students like him. He'll let you sit off sport if you don't feel up to it.
Havers: Transferred mid-year, was very close with Captain before he left. Basically the only person Captain spoke to. He was one of those kids that everyone knows but nobody has a strong opinion on. He also hung out in the library a lot. He struggled with Maths, French and Spanish but was good at most other things. Very sporty - head of the cricket team alongside Captain, fastest runner, on the table tennis team. Captain is good at languages and liked to tease him about it.
Annie: A student from the Catholic school down the road who taught Mary to speak up for herself a little more. She bunks off school to hang out with Mary. She's in the year above, and so she goes off to university before Mary, but they still call each other a lot, and she comes back to visit.
Bonus info: Pat and Fanny became joint heads of the Council because it was a tie. Pat wanted to do Rock, Paper, Scissors but Fanny said it was undignified. Fanny is also somehow on the PTA, despite not being allowed.
Alison plays music in class and has fairy lights in her office. She takes her class outside for walks in the summertime - but only if they want to go, otherwise they can just sit outside. She passively talks about feminism when the class are doing something boring, punishes those straight boys for the smallest things because she knows how they act around other people. Gets kids to write other things they could say instead of swearing.
Alison's screensaver on her work computer is a wholesome meme. Julian regularly hacks into the school system, although he needs Robin's help to do it. Sometimes he changes his grades using that method. If he does too well in Drama or Art he lowers them so he looks cooler. If he has negative housepoints he removes them and replaces them with positive ones.

Oh yeah, I should tell you someone put up a playlist of double greetings that get purchased and posted to youtube. Be sure to check it regularly for updates!
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-zCAWYLWAhgP-oVAOQY-CeJ8MdAbxhiO&si=mnWMd_ixvWkLVdit
Here's my fav from it - https://youtu.be/bRpx5sUooAw?si=r6IWBBMEfnRPghG2 <- THESE are the kinds of greetings I wanna see! Where All-Stars contestants, or contestants from separate seasons who have *never* met or talked much finally get the chance to.
Oh yeah, here's some more individual ones:
https://youtu.be/GLIf8WwvlIg?si=worrOiB4soqjl0ZO (according to one comment this is a Rui Kamishiro costume? Correct me on this-)
https://youtu.be/oRAq93UIEQk?si=5UY5hHKOBg3XuP83 (still waiting for someone to quit beating around the bush & ask either of them what their situation is)
https://youtu.be/poFh1LiG5wA?si=JCG1oX9V8MIcK8ax (Damn, poor Jake was getting ghosted by everybody! 😂 (also what's a stem major-) Perfect opportunity here to fulfill Dan's wish and buy a double greeting~! (*cough* with Alec or Drew or even Gabby) )
https://youtu.be/RYsrkVeoT88?si=Ao9dkCk3d-UHUe4f (Glad someone brought this back~! It was deleted for a while)
https://youtu.be/nLkks-hMht4?si=ohA1dTZUpdGTWaQZ (This was pretty much already explained in the recent episode of Nick Reacts but I'm happy it was confirmed here too (BTW you should totally start watching Nick Reacts if you haven't already, it does sprinkle some additional lore here and there on top of being entertaining)
oh, nice!
youtube
aww, that was really sweet! honestly, it makes me wish that one of the spinoff series was dedicated to showing life at the Loser's Motel instead of either the staff or tomjake. (although, both of those served their purposes decently as well.) it makes sense that some of these characters who spent a good portion of their DCAS time in the Motel together would be friends-- especially two as kind as Tess and Ashley-- but since we didn't see it, it's still kind of a "wait, what?"
also, does Tess know Will? or is Ashley just saying she should introduce them? and how good is Ashley at gaming...?
youtube
that is a Rui-inspired costume! it's from the mixed event Never Give Up Cooking, and his card A Sudden Trial-- a card which I have B) (i actually pulled on that gacha wanting to get Toya or Kaito, but i won't complain...) of course they had to dress Alec in a Rui costume before asking about his hypothetical feelings about other men. as i always say, "you can't spell fruity without Rui." (/j)
definitely a shipper bait greeting on the whole, but i appreciate getting the timeline on his and Cheryll's relationship as well. if only we knew for sure how old Daniel was. then we could figure out how old Alec was when he and Cheryll tied the knot...
youtube
so, i guess it was math that Alec was teaching Fiore in the DCAS finale! i sort of assumed it was English-- y'know... because of Alec's whole deal...-- but i guess we already know that Fiore is capable of reading some pretty intense literature for her age, so she probably doesn't need much help in that department.
and, the comic collection comeback! i wonder if Alec being a fan of comic books was always in the cards, or if all of this has just snowballed from Alec saying "quirk" in the superhero episode. either way, the more we learn about Alec liking superhero media, the funnier it is that he had no powers in the superhero episode. buddy, you missed out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
youtube
felt on the "bad at texting" part-- i always want to send messages to my friends, but i can never come up with anything to say. RIP Jake, though. at least he had Miriam?
apparently, in a spanish greeting, Dan said he was studying physics engineering. i bring this up because i was trying to figure out if "just living with my parents and watching DC" was literal, or if he's also being a student at the same time. he would be 21 as of DCAS, so if we assume that he started college at the average time (~18 years old), he'd only be 3 years into his degree. probably still a student, then. no shade if he wasn't, i was just trying to figure out if he was a victim of the current job market.
a STEM major is someone whose (college) major falls within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. in the US, at least, these majors are generally considered more favorably than others by authority figures, due to being "of actual importance," "guaranteed to get you a job," and other mantras along those lines. if Dan is studying physics engineering, then he's also a STEM major in his parents' footsteps.
youtube
for some reason, when he said "love triangle," i assumed it was going to be between Jake, Tom, and Aiden or something. too many love triangles to keep track of in this show. anyways, confirmation that Nick isn't into gamer girls.
Believer is a pretty vocally demanding song (dude is basically just screaming), but i think Nick did a pretty good job with it! i'm sure Deric was struggling trying to pull it off while keeping up his British accent, lol.
youtube
ah, thanks for the reminder to go back and watch NickReacts! i watched the first (and maybe second?) episodes when they came out, but i forgot to go back and check for more. i'll probably put that on next time i need something to listen to while drawing :)
... that being said, i, uh. don't think you're going to make more than an investment broker through your youtube channel, buddy. maybe if you placed better in DC1 😅

Im seriously thinking about giving the private lessons. Like I'm actually trying to figure out how to go about it. Like where i could advertise myself, what times I could do it and what would the price be and all,,, it's a bit stressful but I rly want to try. Taking the steps towards it while i feel brave 😭😭
Ok so look,
Step 1: research!
You need to go through
1) websites specifically focused on private lessons. Here we have a couple of those that work as a kind of middle man between student/teacher, and you'd normally be able to find at least some of those by searching something like "[subject] tutor [area]";
2) websites that offer various services such as the Fiverr copycats, and look up teachers/private lessons on there until you find the wording that works for what you're looking for.
(these are both country specific so I'm afraid I'm not really able to offer much advice where to look for them!)
Then you'll be looking at:
a) the prices teachers in your area usually offer;
b) their age and years of experience;
c) if they offer online or in-person lessons;
d) what times they offer classes at (also good to see what times the school classes end generally and add an hour or two for commute);
e) ages they're willing to work with;
f) how they market themselves,
And how all of these correspond with each other. Studying these will give you a rough idea of where your own prices should land corresponding to what you are able to offer, and knack some of that off a little because you're new.
Step 2: get yourself out there!
You can either pick option one or two for where you want to put your own offer or both, but be prepared to manage your own schedule a lot. Pick a nice photo, put all your achievements in the sphere you want to teach, including exam results, put "experience" there, including helping friends with homework or whatever, anything. Namedrop fancy techniques if your know any. Put your phone number and contact information and the price range you think is appropriate (if in-person, account from commute - for them if it's at your place and you if it's at theirs).
If you want to, you may also print the ads and put them on notice boards in appropriate places (school bus stops is a huge one here), but I don't know how well those work!
(Pro-tip: working with teens aged 13 to 16 is usually easier. They've got the adult sense of humor at this point and are fun to communicate with but also know why they're going to get lessons and have their own goals, mostly. Kids younger than that can be fun but it's a little exhausting to corral them to work and you might need a set of specific skills you do not have yet.)
Step 3: research again!
While or even before you get any response, research into the official school/uni programs on the level you plan to teach. You should generally have an idea of where the student should be before they tell you anything about themselves just based on age, if you're offering tutoring with a school subject.
This seems like a lot and kind of is a lot, but if you can take on even just one-two students at a time and work with them well, you'll probably get a nice review or a reference or two and a lot of experience. It seems generally scarier than it really is, you just need to start.
Also hit me up if you mean to teach English specifically because I have more specific advice for that too 👀

For the agere matchup please!
- looking for a caregiver
- little 4-6/big 26
- I don't really know what my FAVORITE thing to do is, because I end up feeling like I do a whole lot of nothing while regressed, but I'd like to be able to do activities and learn things. When I was an actual kid I liked to play school but always wanted to be the student, and I've always really liked history and archaeology!
- I'd like a caregiver that's more parental, that could provide gentle guidance/structure with routines and rules, because I need a lot of help with taking care of myself when I'm small
- no real age preferences, but I do lean towards male; for fandoms, I don't really wanna specify, but I'd maybe lean more towards animated sources like cartoons and anime?
- I'm learning Japanese, so sometimes I like to watch simple Japanese content because not fully understanding the language helps me feel small! I think it'd be nice to have a cg that speaks it for that purpose, but it's not at all required
Thank you so much!
~@polkadottedpie
Oh, I know that Toshinori from BNHA would love to help you learn Japanese! Because English is his second language, he makes a great teacher: he knows how the two of them go together!
He's very conscious of all the things you might need to take care of yourself, because his own disabilities mean that it takes a lot of day-to-day work to make sure he's also doing everything right, so it's easy for him to keep track of both of your routines.
Probably makes the cutest bento boxes when he has an excuse to
He's still a little nervous about being a teacher, so having a little one to practice lectures with would probably really help! He's teaching hero courses, of course, but he's also very interested in history and would love to share some of the stories he's read over the years.
