Stef wants a promotion at her lifeguarding job and needed to up her active skill; so she formed a work out club with her brother Dalton called the Gym Rats! She’s already at level 3 after their first gathering and has been taking jogs in the rain. Talk about commitment!

Two episodes in and I agree. I haven't watched till the end so I won't say anything just yet but so far, the two episodes are just common knowledge I guess. For the ones who doesn't know tennis then this can be their thing, it will be a little interesting if it wasn't for the fact that whatever they're saying, I already know but idk I have a few more episodes to watch.

Chaos in the Charlie tent during Osdorp Posse

In the context of 90s Request on 3FM, 3VOOR12 editor-in-chief Willem van Zeeland looks back on the most important festivals of the 90s based on his own memories. In the evening you can hear live music from those festivals at Roosmarijn Reijmer in 3VOOR12RADIO. Today: 1995. One of the most beautiful festival performances of 1995 can be seen on Drum Rhythm. This is a multi-day festival that was organized in Amsterdam from 1991 to 2002, with artists who are somewhere between jazz and dance. The tobacco industry was still allowed to sponsor cultural events in those years. The money from the shag giant is used to bring big names to Amsterdam. In 1995 the festival still takes place at various locations in the city, later Drum Rhythm will move to the Westergasfabriek site. In 1995, Drum Rhythm brought Massive Attack to the Netherlands for the first time, four years after the release of the classic debut album Blue Lines. A special location has been found for the concert, the main hall of De Beurs Van Berlage. The acoustics are not optimal, but it is a beautiful entourage and Massive Attack goes all out with vocalists Horace Andy and Tracy Thorne (of Everything But The Girl).

Pinkpop 1995 is nice, but certainly not great with Spearhead, Levellers, Biohazard and Tragically Hip, among others. Live plays on the main stage for the first time and will return there three more times in the years that follow, but the group does not become a favorite of the critics. Early in the day, ex-Pogues singer Shane MacGowan has to be taken away drunk halfway through his concert. Sinead O'Connor closes Pinkpop. While her career seems to be on the decline, she surprises friend and foe with a very convincing show, with a sizzling performance of her new single Fire In Babylon.

In 1995, Rock Werchter was a two-day festival with lovely summer weather and I saw no less than five unforgettable concerts that weekend. First of all, there is the Belgian dEUS, which can be seen at almost every major festival in 1995. In those years, Tom Barman still has the current Zita Swoon singer Stef Camil Karlens as a sidekick. Every performance of dEUS is different, but at Rock Werchter 1995 they rise above themselves, pure magic. The performance of the English singer PJ Harvey is also great. While she made her debut in 1992 as a somewhat timid girl at Pinkpop, in 1995 she appears to have grown into a flamboyant singer with a theatrical performance. In 1995, Bristol-based trip-hopper Tricky was seen as the future of rock 'n' roll and his dark whisper show made an impression as night fell in Werchter.

The closing act of Rock Werchter provides the concert of the year. R.E.M. performed twice at Rock Werchter in the eighties, but in the early nineties they broke through to superstar status thanks to the classic albums Out Of Time and Automatic For The People, including the hits Losing My Religion and Everybody Hurts. R.E.M. had a flourishing period in the studio in those years, but the two albums were not accompanied by a tour. In 1995 they finally show themselves again, on the occasion of the somewhat lesser album Monster. The material from Out Of Time and Automatic For The People can now be heard live for the first time. R.E.M. represents the very highest that pop music has to offer in 1995.

Earlier that day, Jeff Buckley had already shown how to be pathetic without flying out of control. What a shame that I will see him here for the last time. How I would have loved to have experienced many more performances with him. Everything indicates that he had what it takes to show a lot of beautiful things, but in 1997 Jeff Buckley drowns in the Mississippi.

In 1995, Lowlands grew to 25,000 visitors. The marriage between rock and dance survives in 1995 at this festival with the guitars of Monster Magnet and Soundgarden in the Alpha and the beats of the Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers in the Bravo. After this weekend, the Dutch club circuit has two new favorite acts: the Osdorp Posse and the Heideroosjes. A little later, under the title Greetings From Lowlands, they will be touring the country a little later, where they will provide the most exciting Dutch club tour since Claw Boys Claw. Lowlands underestimated the popularity of these bands, because I've never seen a party tent stormed as much as the much too small Charlie tent during the performances of the Heideroosjes and especially Osdorp Posse at Lowlands 1995. Be sure to check out the spectacular video in which you can see how the audience at the Osdorp Posse literally hangs in the roof of the tent.

sorting through the prequel i started writing for the bdsm romcom novel

“You didn’t drop out of law school because Stephen broke up with you, did you?” Stef asks, hands on her hips, her always surprising but welcome maternal mode kicking in. He can always tell by the arch of her eyebrows, like she’s about to make him cocoa before threatening his bully. “Did he tell you that you should?”

“I dropped out this morning,” Andy says, breathing very carefully, “and I went to him first, which was dumb."

Laurel rests her head on his shoulder, slides an arm around his waist. She’s so good at knowing when to touch people, filling in gaps in moments, smiling just right.

“What did he say?” Stef asks, glaring at him.

“. . .he said he wasn’t surprised,” Andy says, sighing. It would have hurt worse coming from somebody who actually loves him—and if Stephen loves him, he’s doing it wrong most of the time.

There’s a deadly silence and he turns slowly to see Laurel, streaked with pale blues and pinks and wearing a t-shirt covered in badgers, with a look of absolute white hot fury on her face.

“Hey, historically I pick guys who practically hate me,” he says, letting out a laugh that only trembles a little. “I shouldn’t be surprised.”

“We can’t kill him,” Stef says, directed at Laurel, “but we can threaten him.”

“Or we could kill someone else,” Laurel says, “and then frame him for the crime.”

“. . .well, at that point we could just kill him,” Stef says.

Andy’s got his knees practically pulled up to his chest but he’s smiling, smiling wider when they look over and give him worried looks, like he’s about to fully lose the plot and maybe need to go to a hospital for a brief holding period.

“I love you guys,” he says.

Laurel smiles back, murmurs, “Sweetheart,” and basically crawls into his lap.

Stef looks squirrely before she says, “You’re okay, I guess,” and grabs her coat, heading for the door.

“Are you going to buy a weapon?” he asks.

“Just keep your mouth shut!” she calls back, door slamming behind her.

“You’re too cool to be a lawyer,” Laurel says, when he turns to look at her, face very close to his. “I’ve always said that.”

“You’ve never said that,” Andy says, laughing.

“That’s because I thought it was your dream,” Laurel says, “and I actively try not to crush your dreams, you beautiful butterfly. But this was a bad dream and you’re making a very smart decision and I’m definitely gonna frame that guy for some kind of crime. Or blackmail, maybe—does he have any horrible secrets?”

“None that he told me,” Andy says, feeling kind of sick when he thinks about it. “We never really had conversations, actually. He would just talk and then tell me I talked too much when I tried to talk about myself.”

“You guys have been a thing for a year,” Laurel says, softly. “Andy, has it been like this the whole time?”

“There was a honeymoon period,” Andy says, sinking down further into the couch. “There was wooing—I really like being wooed.”

“Who doesn’t like a good wooing?” she murmurs, patiently waiting for him to continue.

“It was my first relationship that lasted more than a couple of months,” Andy says, eventually, staring at the ceiling instead of her endlessly sympathetic face. “I looked past a few things that hurt a little and then I kept looking past things and then I just felt like shit all the time.”

“You know, one time Stef told me that I was being too happy,” Laurel says, biting her lip when she smiles, “and she immediately died, was reborn, apologized for six hours straight and then went down on me for the next six hours. People say shitty stuff sometimes but they apologize after if they’re humans and not—swoopy haired shiny teethed monsters.”

“His teeth were so shiny,” Andy groans, covering his face with his hands.

“One might say too shiny,” Laurel offers. “Like, we get it, you can afford a dentist."

My Goonies: Brand is Shownu (Monsta X) 100%, attractive, buff enough to squash your head like a watermelon, loves food, big brother figure. Mikey is Mark (NCT), a dreamer, levelheaded, passionate, -Taemin voice- ADORABLE. Chunk is Hoshi (Seventeen) because his friends love to pick on him, he's always showing his stomach, is an actual sweetheart. Mouth is Changbin (Stray Kids) for many reasons, he's loud af, a mini buff walking disaster, but mostly for my HyunBin agenda. Andy is Jinyoung (GOT7) because he's pretty, mostly quiet, but when you get him riled up he will tell you off + he's secretly in love with Shownu from their trainee days. Stef is HYUNJIN (Stray Kids), the sass, the comebacks, the androgenous visuals. Data (my love) has to be Jackson (GOT7) he's always wired, everyone doubts his ideas until they actually fucking work.

My Fratelli's: Sloth we need a big buff dude, its gonna be Wonho! Jake gives me big Dokyeom (Seventeen) energy, charismatic, fantastic singer, sneaky. Francis ummm...it's Mingi (ATEEZ) because he's got those same sleepy eyes, and loves his Mama, never wants to disappoint her. Mama has got to be the sassiest of leaders, our captain, Hongjoong (ATEEZ).

Looking back I really didn't know when I was a teenager who I wanted more in these three 80s classic movies

Did I want Blaine (Andrew) or Andie (Molly) more in Pretty In Pink?

Did I want J.D (Christian) or Veronica (Winona) more in Heathers?

And finally did I want Watts (Mary) or Keith (Eric)

Incidentally it didn't even occur to me until last year that I was subconsciously deciphering that choice and I guess I finally have my answers now!

So I would say it was 50/40 with Blaine and Andie but then maybe I would reserve 10 for the brilliant Stef (James)?

(At the time I really thought I wanted just Andrew but each time I rewatched this film I insisted I wanted to be Molly and then realised I wanted all 3 of them lol)

Then with Heathers it's definitely 50/50 for sure now but I think I would have said 80/20 to J.D before my bisexuality was fully awakened

And then well, actually Watts and Keith is a total difficult one for me because honestly Some Kind of Wonderful is an anomaly where I always kinda knew that I adored Watts but only admitted that one more when I could never deny the beauty of Mary Stuart Masterson and so I would say now it would be 80/20 to Watts ❤

damon's changes to match rissa's stefan since hers will be my main stef; i.e. their backstories are more book based, they're older, etc. these will be his default changes, but i'm happy to follow his tv canon info more closely as needed.

born in florence, italy in 1484 ( currently aged 24 / 539 ).

his transition follows canon, and he still left on his own after being "forced" to turn by stefan.

he reunites with stefan in 1556 and gets him to drink human blood again, like in canon. the cycle is repeated in 1912.

his love ( turned obsession ) for katherine remains the same, along with the rivalry he had with stefan for her affections. he's carried this flame for her for most of his life, though he's tried to extinguish it, especially in the last few decades.

i am keeping his ability to transform into a crow, as seen frequently in the novels and in the very beginning of the show.

while i won't change his canon interest in elena, i will say it is largely based in her looking like katherine and in his drive to make stefan's life miserable ( at least in the beginning ). i firmly believe even in canon, he didn't truly love elena, simply used her as a placeholder for katherine. and so, rather than fall for elena, i'd like to see my damon fall in love with someone completely different, and break free of the cycle of repeating history with his brother.

regarding caroline: he never had a s.exual relationship with her. he did still use her as a pawn / living bloodbag because i refuse to completely ignore his abuse of her, but it was never s.exual. this also applies to andie - he compelled her into a shadow of a relationship for companionship and feeding, but it wasn't s.exual.
