Hi! Can we have the song number 23 please? Thank you and have a good day please, your art is wonderful! ❤️
hello! thank you so so much and of course! music ask game:
23: a song that you think everybody should listen to
the people pleaser in me does not like this question. i'm going to resist writing an essay and say (cw: very sad?) the solitary brethren of ephrata by lingua ignota.
have yourself a lovely day as well!

orchid (what’s a song you consider to be perfect?)
also KISSING you. i wanna commission u so bad because ur art makes me unhinged but idk what id have u draw
HII AMBROSE you're too kind gah!! Btw no worries at all man I'll always be making art for free on here anyways<3
I'm going to give two answers here because I'm a filthy cheat. From a technical standpoint it's Pas de Deux.
From a personal standpoint, however. A song I consider to have no flaws in it whatsoever, and would gladly listen to until the stars burnt out? If it can't be the entire London Calling album

Artist: Lingua Ignota Album: Sinner Get Ready Released: 2021 Country: USA Genre: Experimental
Tracklist:
1. THE ORDER OF SPIRITUAL VIRGINS 2. I WHO BEND THE TALL GRASSES 3. MANY HANDS 4. PENNSYLVANIA FURNACE 5. REPENT NOW CONFESS NOW 6. THE SACRED LINAMENT OF JUDGEMENT 7. PERPETUAL FLAME OF CENTRALIA 8. MAN IS LIKE A SPRING FLOWER 9. THE SOLITARY BRETHREN OF EPHRATA
"I AM COVERED WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS. FEAR IS NOTHING WHEN THE PATH IS RIGHTEOUS."
Another monumental and disturbing work from singer and multi-instrumentalist Kristin Hayter. Like many, I was first introduced to Lingua Ignota through Caligula, an album that has grown to mean a lot to me personally and has helped me understand through catharsis the trauma that I've experienced. Thus I followed the news of subsequent releases with interest. Leading up to Sinner Get Ready, I had read that this release would be quite different from Caligula. Indeed, this album is quieter and more subdued in the sense that Kristin's screaming vocals are much less prevalent. However much of the same disquiet and emotional intensity remains that has come to define Lingua Ignota's music.
Thematically, this album places its focus on devout (and rural American) Christianity, at times utilizing folk/Americana elements as well as interview samples from evangelist preachers. The lyrics are often violent and menacing (particularly "Many Hands") and explore themes of trauma, loneliness, and desperation in the face of religious fervor. Despite the overall sense of dread that the album conveys, there are moments of softness and beauty to be found, such as "Perpetual Flame of Centralia," the title referencing the abandoned town of Centralia, Pennsylvania that has had a coal mine fire burning underneath it since 1962.
While musically Sinner Get Ready is very much a challenging album, Kristin's powerful voice and unflinching commitment to her artistic vision make this release a strong contender for best album of 2021.
Favorite tracks: I WHO BEND THE TALL GRASSES, MANY HANDS, PERPETUAL FLAME OF CENTRALIA
