Leo tore out the paper he was sketching on, crumpling it into a ball before throwing it at the trash can at the edge of the bleachers. It made it in and only then did the upperclassman look at Frank, mouth screwed into a frown. “He’s a mall goth.”

“Okay so?”

“I’m straight.”

“Half the school literally watched you make out with the captain of the swim team and the captain of the track team for homecoming game last year.” Frank countered. “You’re a bisexual bitch.”

“Woah big guy, no need to insult me.” Leo held up his hands in surrender. “One—”

“Technically two,”

“Technically two make out sessions in front of peers does not a bisexual bitch make. Plus Percy was definitely high when we made out and his girlfriend is the better kisser.”

Frank actually did not want to know that information. “I’ll pay you twenty dollars per date.”

“Babygirl that won’t even cover gas prices. Say I take mr emo to a movie. That’s thirty bucks for two tickets, additional ten for a large popcorn and you know we’re gonna want to split a slushie since the cinemax has the cola flavor the gas stations don’t. That’s another eight bucks. Nah, I want seventy-five per date.”

“No way.” Frank automatically responded. “That’s way too much per date.”

“Enjoy not being able to kiss your girlfriend while I collect all the sports captains then.”

oh my god, it's so funny how everybody in the show and in the manga describes katsuki as "confident" while everything that he needed to start thinking that izuku is "looking down on him" – just one time when he didn't compliment katsuki and treated him as a kid he actually was. not the confident behaviour for me

the real world isn't the same as the fairy tales, but also there are fairy tales based on real events, having more truth to them than one might realize.

and this is something oz tells to those he picks into his inner circle; that, essentially, the real world can be the same as a fairy tale, and it's got me thinking...

what if someone--not naming any names here coughsummercough--really bought into that? that unlike ruby, whose response was "that's why we're here; to make it better", they believed that the world already was the same as the stories of old, of heroes and monster, of clear, simplistic moralities?

and it was that view of the world that dictated their choices, and which potentially sealed their fate.

I love how after Arzaz releases them both Bart looks like he had some sort of awakening and Ayla is thoroughly unimpressed with being seized hold of - regardless of how big and strong this Old God is.

Bart during the entire time the God Wave's shockwave was riding through was just vibing with the whole experience, Ayla was experiencing multiple stages of a fight and flight all at once.

To be fair that's a very awkward way of holding two people at the same time.
