Nickname: Kirppu (meaning ‘flea’ in Finnish). My sisters and mum call me that because I’m small and angry.

Gender:  Female.

Star sign: Pisces at birth, Aries at heart.

Height: 161 cm.

Time: 14:42 (2:42 pm).

Birthday: March 10th.

Nationality: Finnish.

Favorite band: Hmm a hard one. I don’t have one favorite above others but to name some, Arctic Monkeys (new album tomorrow!!!), One Direction, Fall Out Boy, Lord Huron, Panic! at the Disco.

Favorite solo artist: Also no one favorite above others here so I’m just gonna name a bunch of people. :D Beyoncé, Lorde, Ed Sheeran, Finnish artist Olavi Uusivirta, Harry Styles.

Favorite food: I can’t choose this one either! There are so many good foods... I honestly cannot choose right now. :D I’ve been craving for an asparagus risotto lately though! 

Favorite colors: Almost all shades of green and blue. Also some shades of grey.

What am I wearing: It’s already feeling like full summer here in Finland so I’m wearing a red and white summer skirt and a white top.

Last thing I googled: I think it was ‘green wall’ since I’m trying to decide what kind of a green wall I’d like to have in my new home. :D

Last show I watched: Parks and Recreation.

Last movie I watched: Black Swan.

What do I mostly post: Black Sails and Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice and Fire, some Marvel stuff also pretty frequently.

Why do I choose my URL: It’s a weird hybrid consisting of a Greyjoy reference (kraken), my nickname (baby) and a Les mis reference (’do you permit it?’). I wanted to mix some of my fandoms and also add something my own to my URL.

Average hour of sleep: 7-8 hours.

Dream trip: Maybe New York. Florence and New Zealand would be cool too. Also Barcelona; I’ve already been there but I could go back any day.

Instruments: I don’t play any but I used to play piano when I was younger. I’d like to learn to play guitar.

Name: Venla. Nicknames: Various weird versions of my name which are usually a lot longer than my real name so I kinda don’t see the point for them... Also I don’t like them in general. The one nickname I do like is Kirppu, that is flea in Finnish. My family calls me that because I’m small and sometimes annoying. Gender: Female. Star sign: Pisces, though I identify with Aries. Height: 161cm so approx. 5′3. Sexuality: Straight. Hogwarts house: Slytherin. Favourite animal: At the risk of sounding like a horrible person: I’m not much of an animal person. Birds are okay, also hedgehogs and bunnies. Average hours of sleep: Lately I haven’t slept very well due to essays and exams but usually I sleep 7 or 7,5 hours per night. Dog or cat person: Neither really but cats are better.  Dream trip: Right now I’m pretty excited about maybe going to Stockholm (in Sweden) next spring break. But maybe my dream trip would now be going to some nice European city like Prague or Budapest for 3 or 4 days just to get rid of studying for a little while. Dream job: I’ve never known the answer for this one and neither do I now, but for some time now I’ve thought of working as a literature and culture researcher. That could be nice. When I made my blog: Autumn 2013, it’s been over 4 years already, dear gods... And before that I was a lurker for a long time. Followers: 205! Why I made a tumblr: At some point tumblr changed things so you could no longer scroll tags without an account so I needed one. It also made it possible to store nice gifs, posts etc. so I was bound to do it at some point anyway. Plus I wanted to follow all cool people I had already found as a lurker!  Reasons for my url: My url consists of three parts: “kraken”, “baby” and “permits it”. “Kraken” is because of my love for Greyjoys, “baby” is because that’s what my little sisters used to call me because I’m smaller than them and “permits it” comes from Les Miserables quote “do you permit it”.
