My dear friend @nv-games and I collaborated to bring you a new set of mane/forelock/tail and a new horse breed. Here is Midnight, a black Hanoverian mare. The second and third pictures are unedited CAS pictures. As you can see; a real black horse with real black mane and tail. It looks even more shiny in game. Old Guitar

I know I'm spamming with poses lately, but I haven't been working on my story for the last week or so which has freed up more time to get these older ones parceled up for public consumption. I swear putting the graphics together takes almost as long as making the poses. 🤣

These were made for the wonderful @aheathen-conceivably ! I really enjoyed getting the opportunity to make poses for this story; I was given the text to work from and it's a scene that's really stuck with me. The original poses were made with the Studio K guitar acc for the sake of story continuity, but because I personally really dislike using poses that require me to swap and change accs, for this public release I redid the poses to work with a stigmata guitar by Nickname. This means only one Sim needs to be equipped with it. However, if you need the poses that work with the Studio K acc, just DM me!

You will need: - Pose Player - Teleport Any Sim - log bench from Horse Ranch - acoustic guitar acc (ring finger) by Nickname (unfortunately this accessory does conflict with hats!)

IMPORTANT NOTE: if your log bench is snapped to a fire pit, then the game will want to place your teleporters off-centre. Both teleporters must be snapped to the centre of the bench - I recommend placing the bench first, and then moving the fire pit in.

Guardian of the Wild Places

WARNING: Unicorns are wild animals, and can be very dangerous. If you happen to be (un)lucky enough to encounter one, do not approach if you value your life. They are extremely territorial and protective of their home ranges, and have been known to kill seemingly without provocation those who they perceive as a threat to their charges.

This was the result of my thoughts about this post, and fucking around with @morningstarequestrian's new Wild Horse Set (part 2). Thank you SO much for feeding my fantasy horse dreams.

CAS screenshots under the cut!

I found the solid-only vanilla swatches to be incredibly limiting, so I made some more colorful ones. The set includes four mane patterns (three pinto + one leopard appaloosa), two tail patterns, and one forelock pattern, in six colors each. I will probably add more colors/patterns in the future, but I'm planning a default replacement for some of the vanilla colors and want to do that first.

All the manes have custom swatches for easy identification, and the leopard appaloosa should work with mane/tail/forelock matching.

Huge thanks to @objuct for letting me use his black tail wrap textures for those swatches, because the vanilla ones are pretty awful.

Bucked Off

I made these in September 2023 😆 Unfortunately the person they were made for left Simsta before using them, so they've only been used to torture my Sims... I'm now releasing them into the wild.

Pack contains 3 poses for a horse and rider, plus 3 solo poses for bystander reactions. Made with a regular EA saddle position. As with all my horse poses, I did the hand positions to work with these poseable reins by LeiaMaria, but the lateral movement doesn't seem to transfer to the game so there will be some clipping. Still, less to draw in!

Note: I don't know if it's just my game, but I sometimes have problems using all-in-ones for horse & rider poses off lot, especially if the surface is uneven. They can sometimes get out of alignment with each other. If that happens, you can just debug them and use MCCC to teleport the horse to the rider and pose them again.

Advent Week 3 pt 2 - Surprise! I really wasn't happy with yesterdays post so I'm releasing week 4 as a pt2 for this week! We're right back at it with more poses displaying your horses on their worst behavior.. This time, your rider didn't exactly stick their seat.. But A+ for effort! You can find this posepack by searching [SCE] On my WORST Behavior pt2(nobody told me I accidentally wrote "worse" last pack so I'll be fixing that later lol) Keep in mind that depending on what overrides / sliders you use there will be clipping!! While making my poses I do intentionally leave gaps between the rider and horse for your thicc neck steeds or roman noses but there still might be some. To overcome this you can use TOOL or WonderfulWhims to adjust your sim to your liking! As always, please remember to respect my TOU at the top of this page.
