My dear friend @nv-games and I collaborated to bring you a new set of mane/forelock/tail and a new horse breed. Here is Midnight, a black Hanoverian mare. The second and third pictures are unedited CAS pictures. As you can see; a real black horse with real black mane and tail. It looks even more shiny in game. About the centaurs: I am happy to bring poseable centaurs to the Sims 4! Gosh this 🎃was a huge wish of mine! You need one horse and one sim to pose one centaur. It is not an outfit to dress your Sim up with. They are two seperate beings forming one centaur.

The posepack: 16 emotion centaur poses with variations + all-in-one version for horse and sim.

How the preset works:

Horse CAS: Select the centaur head and centaur body in CAS accessoires. Choose the bald mane and bald forelock option in hairs to get rid of the floating hairs.

Sim CAS: Make your sim, make sure they have skinny thighs and no ass for posing (or it will clip through).

In game: Use CAS.fulleditmode to change the neck of the horse to fit the Sim body or the Sim's waist to the horse body. Pose 2 in this posepack is perfect to see if the size fits.

Tip: if you have multiple centaurs, name the horse to their Sim match to ensure you pose the right horse with the right sim.

How the slider works:

The slider expands🎃 the neck width of the horse for wider Sims. In quarter view, move the neck arrow down to add extra neck with on top of the normal neck width.

Disclaimer:

This is NOT a mod that adds centaurs to your game, it is not playable, just for posing and storytelling.

Long shirts might or will clip into the body.

I tried to make them for Sims of all body shapes. With a slider I made it possible to have the widest Sim body included, but not the belly, as I didn't get that slider to work. I am still working on it.

Slider will conflict with other neck sliders for horses.

Old Guitar

I know I'm spamming with poses lately, but I haven't been working on my story for the last week or so which has freed up more time to get these older ones parceled up for public consumption. I swear putting the graphics together takes almost as long as making the poses. 🤣

These were made for the wonderful @aheathen-conceivably ! I really enjoyed getting the opportunity to make poses for this story; I was given the text to work from and it's a scene that's really stuck with me. The original poses were made with the Studio K guitar acc for the sake of story continuity, but because I personally really dislike using poses that require me to swap and change accs, for this public release I redid the poses to work with a stigmata guitar by Nickname. This means only one Sim needs to be equipped with it. However, if you need the poses that work with the Studio K acc, just DM me!

You will need: - Pose Player - Teleport Any Sim - log bench from Horse Ranch - acoustic guitar acc (ring finger) by Nickname (unfortunately this accessory does conflict with hats!)

IMPORTANT NOTE: if your log bench is snapped to a fire pit, then the game will want to place your teleporters off-centre. Both teleporters must be snapped to the centre of the bench - I recommend placing the bench first, and then moving the fire pit in.

CAS screenshots under the cut!

I found the solid-only vanilla swatches to be incredibly limiting, so I made some more colorful ones. The set includes four mane patterns (three pinto + one leopard appaloosa), two tail patterns, and one forelock pattern, in six colors each. I will probably add more colors/patterns in the future, but I'm planning a default replacement for some of the vanilla colors and want to do that first.

All the manes have custom swatches for easy identification, and the leopard appaloosa should work with mane/tail/forelock matching.

Huge thanks to @objuct for letting me use his black tail wrap textures for those swatches, because the vanilla ones are pretty awful.

Well, how should I say it, but creating poses with horses is a lot of fun for me, especially the ideas flow through me so much that I can't stop.

About the posepack: Were they being dropped by the pegasus and caught again or did the pegasus rescue them heroically (and drop them off...)? You decide what their story is with these 6 couple poses for your Sim and their horse.

This was so cool to create! The amount of horse references it took oh dear. This is posepack 1, but more will follow. Like couple ones, poses with foals, different ages, battle, etc. Feel free to share what you would love to see too.
