San Myshuno Conservatory

Okay so this was a lot i made for fun im not really a builder but this greenhouse set by @lilis-palace was right up my alley n i wanted something a bit fantastical 2 get my sims out of the house! I made it to be placed in the central park lot in San My, inside I put a lot of King palms and a little section for macaws to sit n perch. At night the rose fountain lights up with fireflies and trellises in back are lit with strings of light attached to the ivy. It's so magical I love taking pcitures of my sims here. I included what I could of the cc i used, the elephant statue is a bit high poly so fair warning!

I did my best to respect everyone's T.O.U but if i made a mistake please dm me to fix it. Thank you to all the cc-creators who made this build possible <3

Not really a mod, but this is a fix of the Uni Careers #1: Oceanography.

Check out my other career edit which I just posted: Natural Science!

I don't know about other Sims 2 players, but my Uni careers are written so badly. Some levels have no chance cards, the results from chance cards are coded wrong, Sims will get 20 dollars instead of the 20,000 won in higher levels, etc etc.

This career overwrites the Oceanography career with the fixed one. No chance cards added because EAxis actually wrote them all but several errors are fixed like the third level sending you to be fired instead of docking your pay like the chance card actually says lol

A career change. It could be a good thing for Robbie. Earlier in the week, Renee messaged him about a new job opening for a forensic scientist company that she is connected to. He has a relevant degree and experience in the medical field from analytical chemistry to toxicology, it all sounded very exciting to him! Robbie mulled over his application, checking he had all the details before finally sending it off.

I always love more variety in my game, and I love the conversion of The Sims careers to The Sims 2 by LientebollemeiS2I. I wanted to make them more integrated though, so with the permission of LientebollemeiS2I, here are my amendment's to these careers to include:

Chance cards (for every level)

Different career levels (since some of the levels match other careers)

Connection to University Majors

LifeTime wants! The only things they don't have are specific career rewards and Wants that will roll in the Wants and Fears panel.

There are four files per career (eg. AdultCareer_AnimalCare, AdultCareer_AnimalCare_Conditions, AdultCareer_AnimalCare_LTW and TeenElderCareer_AnimalCare).

All four files are required and can just be put straight into your downloads folder.

You will notice some of the above career levels do not match the original careers. Some of the levels are already represented in other careers in the game, so I decided to swap some around and include some new jobs.

These files have new GUID numbers, so they should not conflict with other downloads, even the original versions of these careers.

The Lifetime Wants are also compatible with @lamare-sims 50 New Lifetime Wants for Sims 2: https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=669675

Military Career Default Replacement: No Astronauts

@blackswan-sims was looking for this, so here's the military career default replacement I made for myself. It replaces level 9 (Astronaut) with "Brigadier". You can see the new description above.

No changes in wage, work days and hours

The career outfit will be the high rank uniform (same as for the General) instead of the astronaut one

Level 8 chance cards are edited to refer to Brigadier

Level 9 chance cards are edited to make sense with the new position

Download (SFS) (alternate)

The file is compressed. Compatible with BCON mods that alter career wages as long as the wage mod loads after the career default. Will conflict with other military career replacements.

Only English and English UK text strings are replaced, so won't work with games installed in other languages.

Dulce's first freelance gig was a success! She woke up very early, but it wasn't so bad, especially with the company of her MP3 player. She was in the zone and time flew by. The only bad thing is that she doesn't know how to drive, so she had to Uber to the baby shower and back with all the food she had to carry. The driver was nice enough to help her take some of the stuff into the house 💀 All in all, Dulce couldn't be happier and she's glad she got to be part of the momentous occasion.

Posting this late but I haven't posted in a while! I used the colours pictured for the two swatches. Hidden in the catalogue but I checked to see they display properly.

NEW: SIMS 3T2 CAREER

This is an EDIT of @sims2idea-lientebollemeis2i 's 3t2 career "Music (Symphonic Branch) because I grew tired of my musician Sims always wanting to be Rock Gods so thanks to @sims2idea-lientebollemeis2i for their work on recreating these Sims 3 careers for our favorite game!

I added chance cards for this career and also, I did away with the first five levels, since they are the same in the 3t2 Music (Rock) branch and there's already a rock path in the Sims 2!

I made the first five levels more ... symphonic. And then kept the last five levels made by @sims2idea-lientebollemeis2i

This career has a new GUID and won't overwrite anything, not even @sims2idea-lientebollemeis2i 's original Music (Symphonic) 3t2 career which has no chance cards!

$Me gets to a rehearsal one night, the first rehearsal for a new show geared for Sims that are $Me's age! $Me is eager to get to know fellow musicians and to instruct them as well as take on the task of musically directing an entire show, even if she/he was just an assistant. $Me immediately makes a friend after the rehearsal goes poorly due to the production manager's constant bickering with his ex-wife. $Me's new friend asks if he/she wants to know what happened. Does $Me listen to the gossip?

Sims 2 Mechi is a scientist! Doesn't he look dapper in his lil' coat?? I bet he never ties his hair back away from dangerous chemicals and machines. We <3 a man who ignores workplace health and safety rules.
