"Could you get a girlfriend?" The words had snipped off your tongue with harsh vexation as you instinctively cradled Hazel closer to your chest.

"Jesus-" Hazel had muttered, as she craned her neck up to stare at PJ and a disgruntled Josie, "Why are you trying to hijack my boob time?"

You had to reign in all murderous intentions as PJ grabbed hold of Hazel's forearms and forcibly dragged her up off the bleachers… out of your arms.

You did not hate PJ, nor were you her biggest fan at the best of times. However, nights like tonight made your vexation grow to unimaginable heights simply because PJ is completely and utterly inescapable.

This evening, however, waiting for Hazel to get back from Figh Club, had been perfect. Etta James had been oozing through The Callahan's home speakers as you prepared the butternut soup- Hazel's favourite Post Fight Club recovery meal (although she hated admitting it, because she did not want to put you out of your way).

You are perfectly content, trapped in your web of make-believe as you prance around Hazel's kitchen, assembling your respective bowls needed for the soup. Mrs Callahan had let you in, as she always did after school, with a dismissive wave while she babbled into the receiver of her iPhone. Before she completely disappeared into the innards of her sprawling house, Mrs Callahan vaguely threw over her shoulder "Hazel is at her thing until 5 but I'm sure you've been made aware," and you were left in this great big labyrinth to entertain yourself.

i havent actually thought this much about this. i personally think her in the pilot vs her in promening was like. not really a Whole big difference but like...the fact that lizzy now has access to v set her off. shes always been a little unsettling, a little fucking deranged but maybe something happened between ep 1 and 3 thatr was like. lizzy came to her like... hey, one of the disassembly drones came by my bunk the other day. was this the one? (shows doll a pic) and doll just FUcking Loses it . i think she was actively vengeful during the pilot too but YES like ur saying its almost a .grounding thing. everyone here is real and alive. and then at the end of the day she has to go back and face dozens upon dozens upon dozens of corpses that are there because of HER and its liike. idk i imagine shes 18-22 . shes young as hell. and that FUCKS WITH YOU. this is doll to me:

they know damn well her parents are dead but she's just under being eerie enough that no one really suspects her for anything going on. she's relatively normal around lizzy & not aggressive but not outgoing with other students. like to everyone, shes just a normal kid who lost her parents. plenty of kids have lost their parents, considering the murder drones lurking *right outside the bunker.*

i think she would get tired. yeah. she held onto the all consuming debilitating hatred for these genocidal war machines that killed her parents and countless others. then heartbeat happens, and suddenly people are Okay with them??? that would fucking set her OFF. so long, so fucking long shes been holding onto her anger and not being able to do anything about it . BUT NOW SHE CAN. ough ok but then theres those conflicting feelings bcos of uzi. u can see in promening she has SOME sense of... for lack of a better word, humanity in how she treats uzi (hell even tossing lizzy out of the way when she started killing people.) i think she picks and choses who she cares about and then is usually consistent in how she treats them. basically; dont get on her bad side. she's conflicted at the end of ep3 after learning uzi has the solver; but uzi is siding with the murder drones and thats HER loss for being SCHTUPIDDDDDDDD!!!! but then again, she finally has someone who understands what shes going through... but also AUGH..! i have to kill v i HAVE to kill v ive gotten so far i cant give up now FUCK!!!! FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! i think there would be so much of her being conflicted between uzi knows what i feel. but also uzi is siding with the bitch who killed my fucking parents. i think she would just spiral and spiral until dead end comes along and she has a decision to make. and she makes it. and uzi is Fucked and v is Fucked and n and tessa are FUCKEd AND OK TYHIS IS GETTING LONG IM DONE

murder drones gives big like 'having the ability to do technically good animation and bigger production value than ur average web series, but not rly knowing what to do with that' vibes. a lot of artists and not a lot of writers. averi and i watched a couple episodes last night and we were so confused the whole time. i mean its Entertaining but u also have to be ok with just not knowing what the hell is going on the whole time bcuz they dont explain anything they just talk about it like you've already seen whatever the new thing is theyre introducing. we agreed the writing feels like middle school fanfiction, and one of my big thoughts was that its like if an anime was made by people who had just vaguely heard of anime but never actually watched it. big poorly choreographed confusing fights and stupid catchphrases. and a tendency towards trying to be self aware or break the 4th wall but in a way that just feels really unearned and annoying. im not into the art direction either but thats a personal preference and a feeling i share with digital circus so its just me not vibing w the studios stuff, its not really a critique

however while im not big on digital circus just Personally (technically speaking i think its a fine show) w that one u can tell they did learn from some of their mistakes on murder drones lol. i mean we'll see with the writing, i havent been very impressed yet (again: its also just not something that really vibes with me so thats not rly a critique bcuz thatd be unfair as a criticism, its just a statement) but they already Slowed Down a bit with digital circus and dont expect the audience to know everything they do, which is a really obvious problem in murder drones

So not only do I have stats n stuff for them down, but I also have most of their info cards (for Tess, Twinkle, and Glimmer specifically) and have vague ideas for what they would teach in the cartoon. Basically, Tess teaches kids to never be afraid to ask questions. Tess also works with Twinkle to teach lessons through stories and stuff. Twinkle teaches kids to be optimistic and enjoy the little things in life. I accidentally made Glimmer just Glisten 2.0 so that’s fun (Glimmer teaches kids to stand up for themselves and others). I didn’t put down a proper thing for Mini and Shroom, but the most I can say from the small concepts I put down is that. Oh good lord I don’t know how to explain stuff GRGRGRGRGRGRG. Shroom is like Gardenview’s therapist. They also teach kids empathy and to not be afraid to ask for help along with Mini as a bit of an example. Basically, they are characters to whip out for the occasional PSA for Gardenview. Mini also helps through teaching kids to apologize for when they do anything wrong, and also teach them how to forgive others as well. Shroom and Mini are a more serious duo with what they teach to kids in the cartoon, but ehhhhhhh we won’t see much of that it’s not like there’s an actual animated dandy’s world show yet soooooo

okay so for context ive followed glitch BEFORE tadc came out. i was there when murder drones was on episode 5 i thiiink. i think maybe some of the tadc character intros were out? but i digress

tadc episode one: good! great even‼️‼️ hell good soundtrack too but that’s honestly no surprise lol. i really liked the concept and despite my own gripes with the style, i couldn’t hate it just because of how charming the character and their designs and styles were (i read a lot into their designs after the episode aired, it was really interesting to see the inspiration behind the design. hey. hey fun fact did you know that most of the cast’s designs are based off of 80s-90s toys. yea. and that ragatha’s mouth is intentionally stop motion)

and also i 100% agree with the sentiment that tadc is NOT just brainless trash. when something gets popular, it will get content farm’d. that’s just the reality.

tadc episode two: actually took me back a bit… as in i started to be like uh oh. this isn’t taking a turn where i think its going right.

and don’t get me wrong! love gummigoo and his little guys. howeverrr,, as much as i want to say “ai that becomes self aware” isn’t a tired trope at times… it’s a tired trope at times. it didn’t really add much, especially since they popped him out of existence at the end* it didn’t really provide much room for growth.

and also him being killed… that’s what worried me the most. at this point i was worried pomni was just going to be continuously traumatized until she finally snapped and that would be the big twist. so i was hopeful, but kept my expectations low.

episode three: HOLY FUCK HOLY SHIT I TAKE EVERYTHINF BACK

im actually fucking LOVE this episode it developed a majority of the cast i LOVE IT dude. i’m glad that pomni isn’t just endlessly being tortured because in previous episodes i wanted to yell at the cast cause it felt like they were doing NOTHING/the wrong things to make pomni feel better. maybe getting jax to shut his yap helped LMAO

quick murder drones theory!

ok so in the show there’s been a lot of talk about backups for the disassembly drones and clones and such (j saying that effective drones were cloned more, cyn not being concerned about n dying because she “has backups”, etc) So this got me thinking. What if n actually died the day of the gala and the n we’re seeing is just a backup? Think about it, uzi said to say her username “when ur about to freaking die”, cyn being so nonchalant about her big brother possibly dying, the fact that n is implied to be the only disassembly drone to have lost his memories, the fact that cyn was trying to delete his memories in the first place, it all adds u to a picture that the n we know and love maybe isn’t the same n from the manor.

I have to say that one of the things I love most about Tiny Angels is the past and trauma with the parenting that u decided to add to N.

His parents abandoned him and his sisters only to continue being mistreated by another family and now as an adult, with a daughter in his life that he loves with all his soul, he is afraid of making the same mistake that they made with him... and it is curious because N shows with actions and words that he is not at all like the parents who hurt him.

i feel like if, canonically, he and uzi were ever to decide to have a baby in the future, he would certainly have some apprehensions about it due to his past as a disassembly drone. even after the show’s more or less happy ending, he still can’t undo the atrocities he committed, and he surely still carries some trauma and guilt from that. how can he be trusted around a defenseless baby if he has a history of slaughtering entire families?

obviously, it was a bit harder to translate this into a human au, especially because the show itself has a tendency to play the carnage and bloodshed for comedy (“don’t feed me my entrails in front of my family!”, “just avoid another whole spire!”, etc). in a fantastical animated show about sentient robots, it’s easy to laugh at these jokes under the guise of it being “dark humour.” when you apply that to a modern-day, real-world setting that’s more or less grounded in reality, it doesn’t work out, to say the least. like, i couldn’t exactly have nolan commit a string of murders in college, then face little to no actual consequences for it, be forgiven, and be allowed to integrate back into society as a normally functioning individual. he especially wouldn’t be allowed to work around children, let alone have a child of his own.

but n’s trauma is still a major part of his story, and it felt wrong to just ignore that entirely, both for the sake of not bastardizing his character, and wanting to add some spice to the story. i’m not sure i or my readers could survive 30+ chapters of pure domestic fluff and slice of life without getting bored to tears. there had to be some tension, some conflict, some reason for parenting to be equal parts exciting and terrifying to both n and uzi. so i basically just had to give him a different kind of trauma. yay!

j, v, n, and cyn being abandoned by their perpetually nameless biological parents is also meant to be a direct call to canon - the fact that they were all discarded by their previous owners before being found and fixed up by tessa. canon doesn’t really expand on their pre-manor lives, but i’m sure this was heavily traumatic in its own right? especially for n, who has a lot of insecurities about being useless. i’m willing to bet that his desperation to be seen as good enough all started here. he was literally thrown into the trash without a second thought once he was no longer needed by the people who wanted to introduce him into their lives at first. with how quickly n seems to develop attachments to people, and how he considers everyone his friend, that couldn’t have meant nothing to him. and then he gets saved and taken in only for the matriarch of his new family to chain him to a tree and leave him to be eaten by a pack of birds? someone get my boy some therapy ASAP, god knows he needs it.

but yeah, he’d sooner rip a hole in the sky than even consider hurting or abandoning his little star. he’s the kind of parent who’d cry himself to sleep out of remorse after raising his voice to nova once, haha

Fry’s hair is simple, but it just stands out to me. Maya got a cool design, but I’m kinda neutral about her. Don’t feel like I really know either of their characters enough for a solid opinion

Cyrillo’s design is easily one of the best, but I had no idea what his talent means

Wimessir is a lot like Akane, and the two of them kinda give mastermind energy 

Idk why they’re singing and dancing, but their designs are top tier

Faust is kinda like Taka mixed with Teruya. (Love both of them) His face reminds me of Murder Drones. Hope he survives cuz I really like him so far

I like his banter with Sapphire, whose design is also amazing. She reminds me of Kirumi in terms of personality and being passionate about her talent
