In retrospect I wonder if OUAT had like, a huge fundie/conservative white mom audience and that's why it was Like That and Rumbelle turned out the way it did

#the sheer sexlessness of Belle as a character trying desperately to use her Pure white girl soul to save him #to actually enjoy Rumbelle as it was after like mid season two you have to be repressing some shit #I'm convinced #it's very much a “what if I wanted to fuck this creepy demon man but I can't accept that within myself unless I make him bland” vibe #rumbelle would have worked better if she was fighting a real desire to be kidnapped chained up and railed by an evil guy #like what if she thought his power was sexy and had to come to terms with it huh #OUAT #Rumbelle
