(specifically the onryo borne from the murdered Yoshi Hamato and Tang Shen [because oroku saki a bitch])

[ redacted ] and Tang Shen’s ghost gained control and guided Splinter to raise the boys in love and not [ redacted ] to [ redacted ] in [ redacted ]

Splinter was just a regular little rat... who on his 1000th birthday witnessed the death of his friend/unwitting master and his wife, and thus transformed into a wrathful kyūso (minus the kitten eating) and chased Shredder until losing his trail in New York

Shredder’s fuck around and Splinter’s rampaging as the find out caused the tengu to repo some of the mysticism from ninjutsu

now all the (remaining) ninja clans debuffed and mad about it

The tengu bestowed the ninja the ability to summon shit (kuchiyose), enact mystical effects upon people and objects (kuji kiri), going invisible, minor flight (actually just qinggong/light body technique), and manipulation of the 5 elements, and creating doubles (bunshin)

but again, Shredder fucked up so now ninja can like barely control anything bigger than a lit torch or a 16 oz bottle of liquid and that’s if you got in enough hours to do even that

I mentioned elsewhere but for me in any AU I make, Venus is a cultivator and the more I think about it the more I will die on this hill, not only does it fit better than her being a “shaman” or “shinobi” it’s sick as fuck

Jennika’s origin was pretty fkkn metal, she still falls in with the Foot, gets shanked, Leo gives blood-- bam, turtle time

Jennika goes to hang with Venus in China and get a better understanding of her new turtle body

Keno’s here, still tried to infiltrate the Foot (with Jennika) but bugged out when she couldn’t stay without being made (Jennika refused to leave womp)

Donnie doesn’t take the news of real vampires or real magic well

Donnie and Venus have a knock down drag out fight over it (because they’re 17 at this point and being li’l shits to each other about their respective fields of expertise)

“The nerds are fightingggggg!” cries Mikey, Leo and Raph don’t believe it so imagine their surprise when they get a demo in real time on how scary competent staff fighters are

Leo gets Splinter when one of Donnie’s missed strikes cracks the concrete

Splinter breaks them up like talking a walk in the park and it’d be comical if they both weren’t bleeding from the mouth and peppered with swelling contusions

Venus begins accepting Donnie when his tech prevents her from becoming a thrall of Vam-Mi

Donnie begins accepting Venus when she uses a massive amount of chi to manipulate gravity just before he becomes street pizza when Vam-Mi throws him off a bridge

they also combine skill sets to save Mikey so there’s that

Venus goes from calling Donnie, “Horatio (derogatory)” to “Horatio (affectionate)”

they now have a dumbass long-as-fuck handshake that’s unforgivably nerdy 

April is still a magic drawing-brought-to-life baby, Venus puts her in a painted scroll when she starts phasing in and out of existence (she and Chu Hsi have a great time in the scroll... while everyone is shitting bricks until Venus and her sect stabilize her and get her made real, Pinocchio style)

April’s grandmothers gifted Venus 2 pieces of jade jewelry, and her family’s recipe for sweet potato pudding respectively for saving April

the boss fight against Dragonlord is dope as fuckkkkk, Chu Hsi is being cool as fuck, fiddled with some concepts* that has Leo and Karai being a champion of Genbu, Raph for Byakko, Mikey for Suzaku, Chu Hsi’s retainer (a good dragon, wink wonk) steps in for Seiryu because Donnie and Venus are siphoning and redirecting an enormous amount and variety of mystical power

*i’m just pulling from fushigi yugi honestly

splinter, the boys, and venus (and others) mutating from mutagen laced toxic waste was a pure accident

Splinter was investigating a lead on Shredder’s movements concerning the Foot the same night an animal liberation sleeper cell ‘freed’ some animals from the back of a pet store (that was a front for black market domestic and exotic animal trafficking) that is also the same night a stolen truck driven by some corporate spies filled with a competitor’s chemical waste, which then collides with said liberation sleeper cell’s truck and... ooze happens

Leatherhead, the Mutanimals, Mondo, Mona Lisa, Slash also get mutated from the events of that night, either leading up to or following the aftermath

plus some others etc etc

Venus still washes down the gutter, gets rube goldberg pinballed onto a crate of plums where Chung I finds her and still gets named Mei and taken to live in China and eventually learns to cultivate

Tokka and Rahzar get made, and unmade ala TMNT II; the mutagen made them a little silly tho, April adopts Rahzar and passes him off as a low content wolfdog, Leatherhead takes in Tokka

April went through a couple of major changes so now she’s a journalist with a computer programming background who now does a podcast as an informal neighborhood news reporter with a segment for chatting with people from around the street

Mikey’s the most frequent guest and co-hosts sometimes; Donnie troubleshoots free of charge

Venus brings her province’s regional delicacies when she comes to visit, Splinter and Leo both get pu er tea cakes (she managed to get one the same age as him; Splinter is too old so she got the oldest she could find, Leo has so many tea pets and a nice yixing collection); Raph, Keno, and Casey fight over the pickles, meat jerkies, and chili oil; Mikey has an artillery of cool shirts and a lifetime supply of haw flakes, Donnie has a mountain of doodads with increasingly specific uses, April gets neat accessories and the occasional care package sent with Venus from her grandparents, uncles, and aunties; Irma gets neat frames and coats that never fail to get a “Where did you get that??”

A lot of bodegas give Mikey free snacks because the bodega cats love him, and he’s also saved some from being run over or ripped apart by stray dogs or the few large angry raccoons

Donnie’s the only one of his brothers to wear both a top and bottom with shoes because once he figured out how to integrate a motherboard and miscellany wiring onto clothing... he’s been a walking computing menace ever since

Splinter does his best to enjoy his time with his sons (because as a kyūso, he knows the chances of outliving his precious sons is very high (ᴗ‿ᴗ✿)  ...give or take one of the many opponents and obstacles his sons take on takes him out first ( ◕ᴗ◕✿ ) )

Duck Avenger (Paperinik-PKNA), Double Duck and Maui Mallard with his students (his nephews) and his girls - Superheroes, secret agents and ninjas - Quack Pack AU - Happy late 90th birthday Donald and happy late Father's Day - Duckverse - My version

I drew a new surprise for all Donald Duck fans as a superhero, secret agent and super ninja and super detective. This time all together in one drawing and it is related to the 90th birthday of my favorite duck, as well as related to Father's Day, since Donald Duck is the best parent to his nephews. Since it's dangerous for kids to go on dangerous adventures, I drew Donald's nephews as older teenagers more like the Quack Pack, although it's more my version of the Quack Pack. On June 9, in 1934 The Classic Short "The Wise Little Hen" was shown and Donald Duck appeared there for the first time. Donald Duck will become one of the main stars of not only Disney, but also cartoon films, comics and video games at all.

Yes, one of my plans is to write a fanfiction based on this where Donald's nephews go their separate ways, but inherit Donald's tracks and secret life through the discovery of Donald's secret identities. However, they can't do anything without their uncle, so they become their main assistants (sidekicks). Huey Duck because he likes espionage and girls, he would certainly become like Double Duck, a secret agent working for The Agency in Duckburg to fight against The Organization and he would be named Double Huey and he would be Double Duck's assistant. Although Dewey Duck tends more towards science, computing and astronomy, somehow he always tends towards calmness and to sense danger at great distances. He and his brothers like ninjas, but Dewey would be special about it and he would go on adventures with Detective Maui Mallard and learn martial arts the right way. Yes, Maui Mallard is just another name for Donald Duck. Dewey would become Maui Dewey Mallard and would be Maui Mallard's main assistant. And he would fight against the shaman and all those who want to steal the Shabuhm Shabuhm idol. Louie Duck, who likes sports and extreme travel, as well as a fan of comic books and superheroes, would certainly look up to Duck Avenger, i.e. Paperinik. He would be Duck Avenger's main sidekick, and his successor. He would be called the Green Avenger and he is certainly part of the T-Squad, but here he is more on a special level where he goes on dangerous adventures with Duck Avenger. Yes, fighting aliens, especially Evronians, as well as fighting The Organization from the future.

Of course, there are three Donalds as Double Duck, Maui Mallard and Duck Avenger (PKNA version), and they are accompanied by female companions, who are also Donald's best friends. Kay K (Arianna Adelaide Konnery) is Double Duck's best companion, Princess Hernae is Maui Mallard's best companion and Lyla Lay is Duck Avenger's (Paperinik) best companion. Yes, they can also be his girlfriends. And then there is Uno, that is, One, Uno Ducklair, an android computer duck who sets Duck Avenger's tasks and directs him to important missions and helps him in many troubles. And please don't tell Daisy about this. I certainly combined this from the comics Duck Avenger (Paperinik New Adventures), Double Duck, as well as the game Maui Mallard, and certainly from the Quack Pack series, but in my own way. Like uncle, like nephews.

The Yarem and Darling in Feudal Japan’s Fantasy AU Hierarchy? (Mythical Creatures, while Darling is just a Human)

I was thinking Darling would be a Geisha/Shrine Maiden (Neither are allowed to marry unless they quit their occupation)

Though I have no idea where Shrine Maidens, Priests, Priestess are in the Hierarchy 😭

There are 8 Main Classes (Though I’m not an expert, but I think it’s cool)

And you can definitely changed these, since I’m unsure (And I don’t know where the others in the Yarem would fit, including the ones that aren’t in the Yarem/aren’t talked about as much)

Jun and Oliva would be foreigners. Jun is still a pirate while Oliva is navy captain but they both pose as merchants to continue their game of cat and mouse

Kureha and Kosho are priests and childhood friends. They encourage you to stay as a Miko (shrine priestess). Kureha is a Kannushi (and he hopes to lie with you if you decide to marry a ‘god’). Kosho is a regular priest.

Ninjas/ assassins are Gaia, Sikorsky, Doyle, Dorian, Spec, and Yanagi. Doyle constantly disguised himself as a geisha (but he’s still a deadly assassin)

Baki, Jack, Musashi, and Sukune are Ronins

Katsumi, Retsu, Suedou, Katou, and all the Shinshinkai men are samurai. Kaoru poses as a samurai so he can fight more. Retsu is a foreigner who was able to become a samurai once Katsumi rescued him from slavery

Daimyos are Doppo, Kaoru, and Yujiro. Yujiro is trying to kill his father the emperor

Shogun is Tokugawa

The emperor is Yuichiro (who isn’t seen much)

Poor shrine maiden is always the one who saves these warriors so they’re all attached to her. They won’t let her go

Inupiat & Anisibane are the king and the queen of my own herd, the Herd Dreamwalker. They have 5 "foals" :

1 - Thunder, He has the courage and determination of his father and the power and will of his mother. He doesn't see his family anymore.

2 - Lugh & Blossom, They're twins. Both inspire the serenity, wisdom and power of their parents.

3 - Starfighter, A fearless yearling, always full of stupid ideas. He loves bothering his father and fake fights with him.

4 - Akama, Young filly always with her mother. She is calm, but she likes to race with Starfighter too.

Other family on the herd : - Rauni (father), Osage (mother), Firefly (filly) - Memory (father), Urd (mother), Merrydancer (colt) - Mushu, Ninja, Shadow (, Shaman, Saga) are brothers and sisters - Brigid, Amphitrite and (Kona) are brother and sister, and Islandar's children - Anisinabe, (Rosamund), Mireldis, (Snowdreamer and Rosebriar) are sisters.

Pantheon's first mate was Rêverie, he build his herd with her and they had a foal, Tenebrae. But quikly, Rêverie her son left for another herd. Rêverie became Dreamwalker's mate. Pantheon, his brother Dreamwalker and Rêverie still get along very well together.

Bells was the first filly of Dreamwalker and Rêverie.

Dreamwalker, Pantheon and Elemyn are from the same family but we do not know who their parents are.

Ninjago x WoW bc I cat get the “Kai is Tirion, Zane is Bolvar” End of ICC cinematic out of my head. Also season 11 made Zane the Lich King!! Undead army? (cured at the end of course, but still) Cursed weapon that makes the possesses the wielder? (Frostmourne-The Forbidden Scroll) ICE-THEMED, BASICALLY STUCK TO THE “FROZEN THRONE” SCREAMING. Blonde hair blue eyes lol. The only difference is HOW THEY ENDED UP IN THAT SITUATION.

The main Ninja are player characters in this au, though. Here are their classes :)

Kai: Kultiran Fire Mage (Kai is the Master of Fire, and there are canon magi who fight with swords and stuff so thatll be ok :))

Jay: Kultiran Elemental Shaman (Summons lightning, but instead of the KT totem fighters, he uses unique ones made of complete gears)

Cole: Human Warrior (I'd also make him a Kultiran, but I have reasons for not doing so because of where I have Ninjago City down as. He’s a warrior, a hard hitter and such. Jay summons an Earth Elemental for him when he needs it :))

Zane: Human Frost Mage (Master of Ice, and has a NEW secret about him)

Nya: “No you’re too young to fight” Kultiran Rogue (Got tired of staying behind during her brothers missions with his new friends and wanted to prove herself. Goes by Samarai X)

Lloyd: Nothing (Yet) (Literally eight years old. Just a funny little lad. Human, Black Dragon, Old God, AND infused with the Light bc Chosen one powers just a scared kid going around the desert and releasing ALL the wrong snakes.

Pixal: Human Rogue (Also doubles as a Warrior, though. Like she can use a sword very well, just wants to be cool and sneaky. Now, she’ll come during season 3 but her and Nya become Rogue Besties :))

Now on to those who replace canon characters!

Wu- Nozdormu, Leader of the Bronze Dragonflight (Yes this means all of his younger counter parts are chilling in the Caverns of Time too, lol) Looking for his nephew, Lloyd.

Garmadon- Neltharion/Deathwing. (Oh you know, Old God corruption, Snake bite, same thing) Cares only about his son. Currently on the Void, waiting for his chance to strike.

Ronin- Matthias Shaw

Dareth- Flynn Fairwind (Listen its canon)

For this to work, BOTH of Harumis parents take Edward Vancleefs role.

Harumi- Vanessa Vancleef (So fitting actually)

Fungus- Kalecgos, leader of the Blue Dragonflight (It's what he deserves)

Mystake- Ysera, Leader of the Green Dragonflight (I want to make her a docile old God thoooo)

He really would be regarded as a Grade 1 Curse Spirit with a bit of Shikigami abilities due to his ninja weaponry. I also like to believe that the souls he “harvests” from his mercenary work are the ones he channels in his weaponry. The dilemma is that once the souls he harvested have been emancipated / exorcised (he collects some that were once cursed spirits), he truly doesn’t have a choice but to escape. Saitama (unwittingly) gave him a run for his money when he bit through his enchanted sword.

Amai Mask

Possession Shaman. Grade 2. The reason as to why I say that is (⚠️ WC spoilers ahead! ⚠️) he isn’t who he really say he is. I can definitely see him as a hideous spirit who inhabits the doll / vessel of a handsome man. (⚠️ end spoilers! ⚠️ ) That being said, many of his skills rely entirely on brute strength alone. I would say he’s a Heavenly Restricted Shaman, but the concept of “animalistic strength at the price of true beauty” isn’t very sacrificial. His domain is also a live concert where his audience cheers and screams his name as he decimates you. At least you go out in style!

ZM

Grade 1 Heavenly Restricted Shaman. However— he’s a double agent for the tech and many people believe him to be a cursed spirit due to his ghastly appearance. The price of his ability to weaponize his cursed energy strictly through a certain arsenal (I.e. his machetes, desert eagles, etc.) was at the cost of his mortality. It seems like a fair trade-off, except his physical prowess is barely above human and he usually gets shredded (he just sighs at it however). So, most of the time, ZM usually does investigative work / scouting for cursed spirits in his leisure. The sorcerer executives hate him for his horribly accurate insight.

CE

cutest little inventor for curse-energy-tolerant weapons you’ll ever find. Many of his “puppets” are toy-based, but aside from that; he’s a Grade 1 Shaman who many cursed spirits often overlook due to his cursed energy being in his inventions than himself. Nonetheless, he’s seen as an excellent leader despite his age and most of the students at the tech are surprised to find out he’s their teacher! He often helps ZM during scouting assignments and upgrades his arsenal so he’s better adaptable to his cursed energy without him essentially becoming incapacitated by it.

Tatsumaki

Special Grade Gojo Shaman. Absolutely expect to get your shit rocked by this angry tinkerbell. Has mastered reversal cursed techniques to the point that Psykos had fled from the battle at the sight of her furor. It doesn’t mean she’s infalliable, but many shaman would consider her the “Queen” of the tech. Her domain is literally a stone pillar as a tornado spins around it, forbidding escapism. Many of the objects that hurtle towards you vary from boulders to outright meteorites.

Psykos

Grade 1 Manipulative Cursed Spirit. If Psykos ever saw Mahito, she would have called his manipulation tactics outright pathetic after drinking a glass of champagne. Many of the souls she manipulates can become essentially her own puppets and, if she starts to tap out, she can conjure her own flesh puppet in its place. Unlike Mahito, however, she doesn’t need strictly souls of humans—she can manipulate the souls of cursed spirits as well, essentially bidding them entirely to her control. Naga!Kenny and Kensula meet for the first time. They staaaaaaaaare at each other for a moment, judging each other. Hypnosis is ineffective! So, what happens next??? Epic snake tail VS tentacles slap fight duel 'til one can out-bruise the other into retreat!? Or epic coil-y snuggles and, umm... selfcest? (I know you don't take requests, but please- for the love of MerMay- draw this meeting for us!)

OOC: Unfortunately I’m kind of in a funk right now and I’ve been unable to draw, but I can do the next best thing—introduce you to proto-Kensula, or “Khaneeth”. I don’t think I’ve done that yet XD

He was a version of Kenny from a fantasy AU my friend had; a desert shaman who lived on an oasis who would provide shelter and medicine to travelers passing through. Being that he’s practically immortal, he had managed to gather many rare herbs for his craft and was extremely skilled in the art of soothing, focusing, and healing the mind and body. 

He smoked from his hookah quite often, and would even offer it to people if they were curious to try it. It gave off a very powerful relaxing aroma that affected most people coming into his tent. 

His allegiance was kind of dubious; he wasn’t really good or evil, rather he was neutral and would help both good and bad people as long as they didn’t give him a hard time or try to welsh him on payment. Woe betide those who would try, though. XD

And of course, he had hypnotic powers. X’D In this picture here he’s using them on Nocturne, a character belonging to @crooked-tarot-rp. The reason I liken him to Kensula a little is because he’s actually robbing Nocturne of his voice here—not really stealing it physically but hypnotizing him into not speaking due to part of a bargain they made. Here’s the story blurb that came with it:

You understand.” His voice was soft, soothing and yet commanding. “Now, to take what is owed to me.”The shaman’s tail began to slowly curl itself in ascending, caressing loops around Nocturne’s throat, until the very tip rested just against his jawline. The powerful muscles flexed and squeezed. Not enough to strangle; the pressure was gentle but it was still there, inescapable. “Your words….fade. Your laughter….evaporates. Your songs….ceasssssse.” As he hissed hypnotically, the coil around the ninja’s neck subtly tightened. “All belong to me now.” He leaned in close, almost intimately so, his stare unflinching in the gloom. “And in their place there is only peace. Only stillnesssssss. Ssssssilence.”As the coil tightened around his throat, Nocturne knew only the pressure and dryness, the somewhat stifling need for air that was clean and free of the smothering smoke and incense. The colors that filled his gaze and carried him further and further–deeper and deeper.  Peace. Stillness. Silence.His body spasmed slightly, half for the want of a full, clear breath and half from some primal instinct to keep what it knew was its own–its voice. The only sound, however, was the struggle of muscles and lungs to give a cry–which of course, came to nothing. But the colors were still there, his ‘woven’ self laid bare all the same. He had no words, or songs or laughter. They belonged to another now…)

As you can see, all of this artwork is really old—I don’t draw him anymore, since I kind of lost interest in him. But it’s nice to look back on once in a while. :’3

Maui Mallard (Donald Duck as a Secret Detective and Super Ninja) and his student (more precisely his nephew) in action

Sequel Donald Duck in other action roles, also the last third part, but this time as Detective Maui Mallard, with his nephew Dewey. I haven’t done this in a long time, but now I’m doing it again. However, this is only a part of what concerns Donald Duck, who plays the role of a superhero and a secret spy and ninja, not to mention, and who will surely have to give some things to his nephews. This is just my AU part of the story.

This time with Maui Mallard. Maui Mallard is actually Donald Duck who is a detective who wears a Hawaiian shirt and looks like Thomas Magnum from that detective series, Magnum, P.I. who fights crime and solves mysteries. Donald also knows various martial arts as Maui Mallard and he is a super ninja. Yes, if anyone has played Maui Mallard, they know what I'm talking about. Maui Mallard also has a type of Gas Gun-like pistol that Darkwing Duck has. There, Maui Mallard fights against a haunted shaman who has occupied the island and with the help of strange duck natives there on a Pacific island, he wants to rule that island and then the whole world with the help of a strong mighty Shabuhm Shabuhm idol. Without that idol, the island could explode with the help of a powerful volcano, and Maui Mallard is helping some of the endangered duck natives to save the island. In the end, he defeats the cursed shaman and returns that idol to his place and marries a princess named Hernae, who is the acolyte sorceress of the Temple of Shabuhm Shabuhm. Don’t worry maybe Donald won’t marry her in the end, yet he’s in a relationship with Daisy. Or maybe Hernae is that Daisy? But it doesn't matter now. Just don’t tell Daisy that Donald is in a love affair with Princess Hernae.

Interestingly, Maui Mallard, the video game came out at the same time as the Quack Pack series (1995 and 1996) where Donald also wears a Hawaiian shirt. However, I heard somewhere that there were plans to make Maui Mallard an animated series, but it didn't happen. I find it strange that there was absolutely no episode of the Quack Pack series where there could be a reference to Maui Mallard, given some tropical themes and backgrounds as well as some action, and Donald wore a similar Hawaiian shirt, only with different colors for the difference in the video game Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow. Certainly, this is also dedicated to the belated jubilee related to Maui Mallard, who is celebrating over 25 years of the game's origin.

After Louie as Pk Junior (Paperinik-Pk-Duck Avenger) and Huey Duck as Double Huey (Double Duck), now it's Dewey Duck's turn to be like a superhero or something like a detective or a secret spy. This time Dewey is now like a super ninja, like Maui Mallard and trying with a closed belt around his eyes to spot various dangers and fight it. His Donald will learn the various skills that Dewey must master and I am sure he will master that, as Dewey is certainly an intelligent boy. This is definitely part of my Quack Pack AU, in which Donald's nephews take special roles as superheroes / secret spies / detectives taking inspiration from various comics, the Quack Pack series itself as well as video games, especially Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow. Dewey Duck in Quack Pack is certainly a smart boy in a trio of boys and he is the brain of a threesome who solves problems but at the same time wants to be more independent than his brothers.

Dewey Duck is in this case like Maui Dewey Mallard after the example of his uncle Donald. There are two of them and Hernae, High Mojo Priestess and mysterious Shabuhm Shabuhm idol behind them and he is certainly a statue with various gold jewelry and a crown. Mostly the background means that they are on an island, where there are mostly a lot of tropical trees, especially palm trees and there is a lot of water there and there is a lot of sandy soil, but there is also hard land.

I apologize that the background turned out a little bad, as did some of this drawing. And sorry for my long comments. I also put three photos of the same drawing that I drew on my sketch block. Now this is over too, so we have all of Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck) as superheroes / secret spies / detectives / super ninjas in one place, I mean special drawings. Hair: Yansa has straight, lustrous dark purple hair in a medium cut that frames her face; a few bangs partially hide her left eye. Given her discipline, it has been sometimes compared to a hood. Eyes: As it is said to happen to children born with an exceptional strong Echo, she has odd eyes: her left eye is bright red, while the right one is light blue. Both of her eyes’ irises have a deep black limbal ring that make her gaze appear unusually intense. Height & Build: Yansa is petite even by Auri standards at 1′46m, yet this lithe, apparenly frail frame actually works to her benefit, giving her extraordinary agility and helping her to go unnoticed by others. Her skin is a pale blue, which contrasts with the darkest tones of her hair and scales. Distinguishing Marks: Her elegantly curved horns and wiry, spiky tail. Of course, being a Xaela, they are covered in midnight-color scale. Common Accessories: Yansa is seldom seen without her ninja mask. It is not because she follows the shinobi dressing code, which she does, but because it also helps her deal with her shyness. She only takes it off when she is with people she truly trusts.

Profession: Scion of the Seventh Dawn, formerly Guardian of Light and currently Guardian of Darkness. She began training in the ways of the arcanist, but she soon took on the way of the ninja, and excelled at it. Hobbies: Because of the ways of her tribe, Yansa enjoys reading. Her favorite topics are history and mythology. Languages: Common [fluent], old Xaelan [fluent]. Birthplace: Ru’shi Iloh, the village of her tribe in the Dalvalan Grath, the rugged montain range north of the Azim Steppe. Since Nikhbei could not take Aaruq back due to the Borlaaq law of only allowing women in the tribe, they sought the secretive Ru’shi tribe, said to welcome refugees and exiles from other tribes, and joined it. Siblings: Midkah Ru’shi, older sister and proficient spearwoman; Chelun Ru’shi, younger sister and talented arcanist. Yansa has always felt inferior in talent to both of her sisters. Other Relatives: Probably in both of her parents’ former tribes, though she knows nothing about any of them. Pets: Shono, the female yol she tamed in Bardam’s Mettle as the rite of passage young Xaela have to go through to become full-fledged warriors of the Steppe. The tradition, while not as high-regarded as in other tribes, has not been lost to the Ru’shi.

【biography】

Middle of Three: Yansa’s parents met under uniquely complicated circumstances, and yet they managed to stay together and form a family. Aaruq of the Dazkar tribe was back then a young Auri man who lived according the ways of his tribe: men were to stay in the tribe’s yurts unless on the move, while women hunted and brought food and goods home. His rather peaceful life was turned upside down when the Dazkar were attacked by the Dotharl, and in the middle of the confusion, Aaruq fled and got separated from the rest of his tribe. As a Dazkar male, he was not used to be outside, and so he struggled to survive on his own. He wandered the Azim Steppe for days, and he would have died of hunger and exhaustion if someone had not found him while hunting. She was a young woman, Nikhbei of the Borlaaq.

The Borlaaq are a female-only tribe, so Nikhbei could not bring Aaruq back home with her. She found him about to pass out on the shores of the river closest to Bardam’s Mettle, and she took pity on him and helped him heal and took care of him. During the time they spent together, Aaruq and Nikhbei fell in love, but since the Borlaaq would not accept a male amongst them and there was no trace of the Dazkar, the couple had to roam the Steppe on their own in search for a place to settle down. It was then when they heard rumours about a tribe in the Dalvalan Grath that welcomed anyone who searched knowledge, no matter the tribe of their birth. Intrigued and wanting to find a place to call home, Aaruq and Nikhbei crossed the mountains and found the hidden village of Ru’shi Iloh, where the Ru’shi tribe had been founded around twenty sumers ago by its khan, Igvar Ru’shi, a wise and elderly shaman and the only member of the tribe who, besides children born within the tribe, had the privilege of claiming to be of the Ru’shi. Despite this rule, Khan Igvar warmly welcomed Aaruq and Nikhbei to the tribe if they agreed to live by the tribe’s rules, which they did. And so the couple became part of the Ru’shi, and months later they got married. A year later their first daughter, Midkah, was born, and since she had been conceived amongst the tribe she would be formally known as Midkah of the Ru’shi.

Midkah was more suited for using a bow than casting spells, but even so the Ru’shi tribe still needed hunters and warrors to protect themselves, and that did not keep her from being taught by the wisest amongst the Ru’shi. However, three years after Midkah’s birth, her mother got pregnant again, and her second daughter was born. She had astounding odd eyes, one ice-blue and other deep red, with black limbal rings. Aaruq and Nikhbei named her Yansa, and Khan Igvar claimed she was destined to do great things.

Two years after Yansa’s birth came her parents’ third daughter, Chelun, who soon would demonstrate great aptitude for magicks. And though Midkah was a great warrior, Yansa did not show any special abilities that would support the claims that she had a great fate to fulfill.

Life in Ru’shi Iloh: In stark difference to both her sisters, Yansa was shy, clumsy and introverted. She held her own with both magic and traditional Xaelan weapons, but it could not be said she excelled at any. She felt great expectatives on her, believed she was but a failure to her family, even when her parents reassured her that they loved her no matter what. Living under her sisters’ shadow made Yansa largely unnoticeable for the rest of the people, no one pausing to look at her twice when her more talented sisters were at the spotlight.

Yansa spent most of her time in her house with her father Aaruq, mainly trying to avoid other people. As she grew up, this isolation began worrying her parents, since their middle daughter hardly got any attention from others while Midkah and Chelun were largely admired and even courted. Yansa did not seem to care about those things as she tried to learn arcanima, the most valued discipline amongst the Ru’shi, so Khan Igvar and her family could have something to be proud of her. She rarely talked, and her father Aaruq feared his daughter’s obsession ended up in a depression, so he asked Khan Igvar for advice to help Yansa. The elderly shaman told him that if she wanted so, he could guide her towards her fated purpose. Yansa agreed to meet the khan, and after a ritual meditation, Igvar told her that if she wanted to find her true calling she should travel westward, to the realm of Eorzea, in the island continent of Vylbrand. When Yansa asked what she had to look for there, Igvar replied that she should search for the Arcanists’ Guild in Limsa Lominsa, where he studied arcanima many years ago, and then her purpose would come to her.

For the first time in a long time, Yansa felt excited at the idea of making her family and tribe proud. She decided to follow Khan Igvar’s prediction and travel to Eorzea. The journey was long and arduous, and she was still young and not particularly talented, and that is why her parents were reluctant at first to let her go. But, in the end, they finally accepted, thinking it might toughen up her shy, insecure middle daughter and gain some self-esteem. At nineteen summers old, Yansa left the Azim Steppe, a long road that would take her to Limsa Lominsa and the Arcanists’ Guild, where she believed she would find her purpose.

Shadow Walker: Yansa was allowed to join the Arcanists’ Guild, and there she spent around three months in which she learned some arcanima, though nothing would point towards her supposed calling. She was an average student at best, but it was during a joint exercise that she caught the eye of the Lominsan shadows when Yansa’s ability to go unnoticed allowed her to infiltrate a pirate vessel while other arcanists with the Yellowjackets distracted the brigands on board.

A few days later, Yansa got a mysterious letter that invited her to meet the Dutiful Sisters of the Edelweiss, a supposed convent in Fisherman’s Bottom closed to everyone except for a few. Intrigued, Yansa followed the instructions, and then she found herself in the very Rogues’ Guild, the headquarters of Limsa Lominsa’s most feared individuals. She had taken the interest of their leader, Jacke Swallow, and he offered her a chance to test her rogue skills with a pair of daggers. Surprisingly, even for herself, she took these weapons with incredible ease, and her petite build and natural ability to not draw attention made her an excepcional recruit. Yansa left the Arcanists’ Guild in pursuit of mastering this new discipline, and she came to be one of Limsa Lominsa’s rogues.

However, this only lasted for some months, during which she easily became the best amongst the rogues’ ranks. She took part on a mission to follow the tracks of a couple of suspicious individuals and ended up meeting Oboro Toiroi and his companion Tsubame, two Doman ninjas who had come to Eorzea in search of a traitor. Oboro quickly noticed Yansa’s innate talent for the art of the shinobi, and so offered to train her in its secrets. She had heard about these shadow walkers back in the Far East, and wanting to test her limits, she took Oboro’s offer. And so, Yansa started training as a ninja, and as her mentor suspected, she exceeded all expectations. She had found her true calling at last, and for the next two years she trained to the point of widely surpassing Oboro’s skill.

As Yansa kept honing her skills, word came that the Eorzean Alliance was assembling for taking back Ala Mhigo, and that the Scions of the Seventh Dawn were searching the realm for adventurers gifted with the Echo to join their ranks in the war effort. Yansa possessed the gift, and so she decided to answer the call. She traveled to Gyr Abania, where she learned the chosen adventurers would form a special unit under the command of the Warrior of Light herself. She met her and her comrades-to-be in Rhalgr’s Reach, and one of her companions caught her attention: Mikhel Shir’valah, a Miqo’te black mage who had joined the Guardians of Light alongside his sister. Yansa and Mikhel bonded quickly, given their introvert and shy nature which made them connect with each other, and over the course of the campaign their relationship turned romantic. By her partner and companions’ side, Yansa fought alongside the Warrior of Light in both Doma and Ala Mhigo, and in the following crisis that followed their liberation.

Shadows in the Light: After the Call to the First in order to restore Darkness in the shard, Yansa became one of the Guardians of Darkness. She would follow X’wyhn Lehn, now the Warrior of Darkness, in their new purpose. Though she knows not where this new path leads, at least she feels she will be able to pull through whatever happens if she stays by Mikhel’s side.

there’s parts of this series that’s probably hella offensive, so i put it down first to get it out of the way. but the concept of a geass, a world war, and territories. plus the endless opportunity for muses of all ages to be involved. it’s good on paper, to be honest!

ohhhhhh this is perfect for y’all that love witch rps that have been coming up! ssr is the story of two girls who are both in the running to be the next queen in their dimension, so they go to earth to ‘harvest’ / acquire crystal hearts produced by humans’ feeling emotions of any kind, each color corresponding to certain points. in the series, there also the ogres’ side who want to harvest as much black hearts (resulting from negative human emotions) to take over the world. it’s a cute af series (both manga and anime) and it has cute worldbuilding stuff in it like makeup infused with magic, certain items that need to be bought if you wanna do a particular spell.

this was a long time coming and im literally shaking as i type this because this. series. is. my. shit. honestly, the next few lines is what i’d do as admin if i bring this rp to life. asian faceclaims only/faceclaims of color only. ninja world - probably taking place after both of the series’ timelines because boruto is still going on and it might affect rp events if you try to write with it, instead of away from it. you could also do an au, but the seeds of the world’s history is within canon and there’s just so much to it unless you can come up with a way to start from scratch, but still make it...a ninja world, i guess, with justus and clans in place.

i suggested this on a previous ask here but it’s a mere mention of the soul society, and honestly? that’s a good starting point. it all depends on which part of the series you wanna zero in on! i honestly have not updated myself with anything bleach (besides the live action movie that s c r e a m s ichiruki and i cried) so im not exactly..sure..how things are. (i know ichiruki didnt become canon n im a lil pissed) but you could read up on the series and see if it’s something you’d like to tackle!

LISTEN I TRIED TO MAKE ONE BUT LOST MUSE BUT IF I GET IT BACK ILL GLADLY WORK ON IT. as problematique the visuals of this series is (its full of fanservice and it made my head hurt tbh! some of the r just unnecessary y r people gross) the worldbuilding WAS great until it got to mavis vermillion and zeref. then it’s just a bit more gross. but if you could change that up, do an au, or whatever, then the concept of mages and guilds and adventures and quests/missions and FIGHTING and N A K A M A (family/friends) could be worth it for some good old writing fun!

Sit down with your fandom elder and let me tell you our histories, my dear one.

1982ish. The first comics are published and see well over 8 printings of the #1 issue. The first 4 books quickly attain cult status in comic circles and Mirage Studios will go on to publish 62 issues in the first run of Eastman & Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This matters because:

Those first 62 issues had story arcs and one shot adventures by Eastman and Laird, it's true. But many of the issues and story arcs were written and drawn by OTHER GUEST ARTISTS AND WRITERS... this is why the Multiverse Is Canon and has always been. It means that no one can ever write the TMNT wrong--AUs are part of the fabric of our source material. Raphael got de-mutated when a leech sucked out his mutagen? Splinter prayed to animal gods to restore a dying Leonardo? Donatello wanted to give up tech and be a shaman? YES. SOMETIMES. Our fandom was born flexible, my loves.

The early 1980s predated widespread internet use. Fans of the comics met in person in fan-friendly spaces that already followed 'fandom' etiquette as laid down by the norms in Comic Shops, at Comic Conventions, and in Fanzine circles. People old enough to buy comics, convention passes, and fanzine subscriptions in the 80s would have been at least 15ish themselves--if not older! Our fandom's current crop of initiates is probably the youngest it has ever been because access to the internet is just as easy for kids as adults. This is not a problem though! There are always waves of new fans whenever there is a new movie, new show, or a new online venue to talk about the TMNT. Our fandom has a tradition of inclusivity. 'All Ages Welcome' sections of fandom are just that--welcoming. We all wandered in at some point. We all belong here. <3

As the franchise grew, fans connected via the "fanmail" pages included in the back of the comics. Even while the internet itself was still in its infancy, the emailing group TMNT-L, a listserv, was set up for discussion and fiction sharing. This was probably the first 'young' wave of fans, coinciding with the 1987 cartoon's popularity and the Archie Comics publication, Adventures of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It was no tsunami of young fans, they had to FIND the listserv first (and Google wasn't a thing yet!) but the 1987 cartoon and the 1990s movies were aimed at a much younger and broader audience than the original 62 issues of Mirage Studios material.

As the Internet grew, the listserv became a Yahoo group. More Yahoo groups popped up: Mistress Renet's and TMNT Naughti collected the 'adult fiction' away from the prying eyes of fandom children. (The internet is/was still working an honor system. "I am 18+. Click to Enter." Fandom tries its best.) There were FORUMS! The Technodrome and Mikey's TMNT. RPG groups formed on those boards and played out in forum threads, in IRC channels, or on AOL Instant Messanger. Fan art was hosted and shared to forums via free hosting sites like photobucket. Ironically, during this time of increased online connectivity with fans of all ages, the official franchise was drying up. The mid 1990s saw the infamous 'Red Sky' episodes of the final season of the 1987 cartoon. In the late 90s, Saban (the people who produced the Power Rangers) got ahold of the rights and created The Next Mutation. It was dreadful and, like the 3rd live action movie, fandom largely pretends it doesn't exist. This was a renaissance period for TMNT FANDOM: the only way to get more turtles was to write them yourself.

Incredible works were created in this dead period by fans in their teens, in their 20s, in their 30s, and in some cases, in their 40s. I have read and saved to my harddrive Turtle Romance stories that were written BEFORE YOU WERE BORN. Stories like Greenwillow's On Becoming Real, Lia's Story, and Phistar's Apocrypha were never intended for children--some because they are porn, some because they are stories of dark situations. Folks posted to their own web pages on Geocities and Angelfire. They linked to their friends' pages via something called a WEB RING, so you could read their fics and click 'next' to move on to the next fandom website, no matter what platform hosted them. Fanfiction.net was still in its heyday and there were no ratings limits. Dialup internet connections lead people to save fic or print it out to read rather than risk getting bumped offline mid-fic. AdultFanFiction.net didn't exist. It and the first Stealth Stories forum, AO3, Twitter, Tumblr, deviantart... those wouldn't arrive on the scene until after the 2003 TMNT cartoon was live.

So, my dear hearts, no. Your tastes are not beyond the pale. Tell the person giving you grief that the TMNT would be in their 50s now in Mirage canon. Tell them to relax. That the fandom is old and full of romantics of all ages. Tell them that the Multiverse is canon and you can write your turtles at any age in any AU. Tell them that we we get fresh infusions of new young fans with every new show, every new movie, and every new internet platform, and that it has been that way since the 80s.

Suggest they follow their own bliss and nevermind anyone else's fantasy lives.

A serious question for the TMNT fandom.

I just got shamed by someone that isn’t apart of the TMNT fandom because of my age and the turtles age. The boys are all 17 in the 2016 movie ‘out of the Shadows’, and I have had a crush on them/ been attracted to them for years, and now that I’m 21 and I still have a crush on them, and I’m still attracted and still in the fandom, I’m being shamed because they’re 17 and I’m 21, and being called ‘wrong’ and some other inappropriate words, for having a crush on them and sometimes writing ‘lemon’ content for them and content about dating them. They also said everyone in the TMNT fandom is probably below 18 and I’m the only one who’s probably an adult, and that it’s wrong for me to be attracted to a 17 year old. It made me feel like trash. So I need to ask, is there anyone else here in the fandom, that’s 18+ that has a crush on the ninja turtles, is attracted to them, and reads/ or writes fics about dating them and doing ‘naughty’ things with them? I hate to have to write and ask this, but it got to me a little. I love this fandom with all my heart and it’s (in my opinion) one of the most none toxic fandoms I’ve been in. I just hope I’m not being seen as ‘wrong’ for liking the turtles.
