i want a girl bestie so bad but i have no idea how to create and keep connections

#the *two* times it has happened these past years #wasnt bc of anything special #1 time it was bc she was persistent in messaging me and interacting w me. and eventually i started feeling safe w her #then we had that for years bc it was easy for me to talk to her plus she just kept being there #the second time it was on accident #i just messaged him randomlg out of nowhere #and immediately i felt like we operated on the same wavelengths bc he was easier for me to talk to #i guess also they were both my 'safe persons' (since i have avpd)#so yeah. i just immediately felt that it was simple(er) to talk w them #and that is not smth that can be forced or even built up #it has nothing to do w how much i try or how kind or patient they are #it's just chemistry i think #so yeahhhh #i dont know how to actually make friends #and i want a girl friend rlly bad :((((#i mean i just want friends in general. guys nonbinary etc etc etc #but i rllyyyy want that specific kind of friendship u can have when you're two girls

#ffxiv #sketch #wol #meteor survivor #zenos yae galvus #adventurer zenos #oh no #its the consequences of his actions #everything is fine until the only man on the star you care about looks at you with the same contempt your father did #(Meteor's not doing it intentionally- its a reflex after he comes back for quite a bit)#and zenos is getting bodied because its been a while since... you know... him being able to really feel anything at all #and no- its not him regretting anything that had to do with varis- just him regretting the thought meteor could look at him like that #little does Meteor know he's emotionally bodying the man he's trying to be cordial with #its a little okay because in how I write adventurer zenos this serves as one of his main wake-up calls to make some changes #and realizing both the mistakes he's made with meteor and that meteor hating him in any way is actually -not at all- what he wants #but not okay on the end that every time meteor does this he has to watch zenos actively dissociate right in front of him #until zenos just kinda autopilots and walks away #the second time (or perhaps third) in the last 11 years that zenos has felt regret to any major capacity-#on meteor's end I just enjoy seeing the progression of the WoL through subtext #and why meteor is willing to even entertain the idea despite how much he hates zenos- his decisions and the path he's walked #is the realization that there is high chance that he could actually be a direct catalyst for zenos' growth #and the realization the wol has that they were the only one zenos has ever genuinely reached out to #besides- i just like the idea of having your equal other half fighting back to back with you- or being able to handle threats you cant #and i find their dynamic neat- of meteor not forgiving zenos but giving him his last chance- and growing to enjoy being around him #and zenos being able to work on moving past being the weapon or the monster- finding the connections he's longed for #and giving himself purpose to finally truly just live- for him to learn to experience and have the freedom to find what he enjoys #(and curiously him having estinien's brand of accidently helping people even in StB gives me ideas...)#but enough tag ranting- ill get to zenos' actual adventuring in another post lol

[047] Applied my version of Doom's partial invisibility fuzz effect and an accidental offshoot I created in the process, heehee :-)

#047 #xisuma #xisumavoid #daily xisuma #hermitcraft #flashing #pretty sure...better safe than sorry #hey I have so many words about this actually!!!#if you wanna learn what the doom fuzz effect is/how it works I recommend decino's video on partial invisibility. somewhere past the halfway #mark he explains it!#it's basically like...for each pixel you either take the pixel on top of it darken it and use it; or you take the pixel below darken it and #use it. and the way you determine whether you do top or bottom is through a list of “top bottom bottom top bottom” that never changes and #you cycle through. so it's a sort of repeating pattern that you make look random by starting at different places in the list #second gif is created when you apply the effect over an image that has already had the effect applied to it. I coded it on accident and #scared myself HAHAHA #really neat though! first time I actually did image processing because I am a little silly but it went quite well once I figured out #how the frick bufferedimages work #I wanna make this work for non pixel art now mmm. will have to do some un-doomy modifications for that unfortunately. oh well? mmm.#already it's not perfectly in the spirit of doom because I math.random() my problems away when choosing the fuzz table start index for each #new image. if I cared enough I'd carry over the index that I ended on but alas. I do NOT care that much! (shockingly)#all it really changes is that every time you generate the fuzz it's different versus in doom spirit it would always be the same

the suki zuko bodyswap AU is really funny because the only two times the Gaang has actually met Zuko when he's himself were:

a.) when they first met him at the South Pole, and he was hamming it up pretending to be a bad guy

b.) the period of time between Suki going her separate way at Ba Sing Se to stay with the other Kyoshi Warriors and when Sokka and Zuko broke her out of Boiling Rock

which is not an insignificant period of time, but they've still spent more time around Zuko pretending to be Suki than they actually have Zuko just being himself. Zuko keeps accidentally bringing up stuff that he experienced while he was Suki, and just hastily saying that she told him about it when they question him.

in hindsight... they're kind of surprised they didn't catch on sooner. zuko's great at pretending, but he's a terrible liar.
