We will see them. We do not spend a huge amount of time at Shadowhunter Academy (or the Scholomance) but we do see Luke doing some instructoring and the like, and of course, he's part of the massive overarching plot since it affects everyone. If you are feeling Luke and Jocelyn there's a whole story about them in Better in Black which is currently titled Everything I Never Told You.

in a way Livvy’s death tore the Blackthorns apart, when Ty needed his family most he was told to go to the Scholomance because it would be “good”for him. Dru also left to the Academy shortly after her death/events of qoaad. Julian and Emma left to their travel year. Tavvy was left by everyone with just Helen and Aline. Mark left to New York for the shadowhunter/downworlder alliance thing. i know Kit isn’t really family but he also left Ty and Dru after Livvy died. i know Ty is still connected to Livvy through her ghost but i think that they still should have stuck together after her death but instead they were all alone to grieve. i think that plays a big role in the fact that Dru gets panic attacks, she was left alone by her family to grieve her older sister, like of course that would give someone panic attacks. I love the Blackthorns but they do have their flaws especially what happened after her death

Reasons why TSC Fans are looking forward to TWP

KitTy, obviously.

Dru, Ash and Jaime dynamic. I bet there's going to a lot of heavy stuff with them, both boys crushing on 1 girl. Dru, you go, girl!

I also heard that people want to learn more of other Shadowhunter families other than the main 5, that is to say, Herondales, Blackthorns, Carstairs, Fairchilds and Lightwoods. In TWP, we'll learn about a Brazilian family, Pedroso (from Dru's friend at the Academy, Thais Pedroso) and an Indian family, Joshi (from Ty's friend at the Scholomance, Anush Joshi). Variety!

Finally, a non-evil Morgenstern (I'm talking Ash here)! The only other good Morgenstern that we have is Clary, and she doesn't even take up the name, choosing to stick to Clarissa Fairchild. It's time the Morgenstern name was cleared.

We never got to hear what happened to Kit and Simon from Thule. Also, Mark and Kieran from Thule might still be alive, because of the protection of The Wild Hunt. We also have a live Cristina, and a live Livvy Blackthorn. One can only guess what happened to Simon and Kit. Comment if you have any ideas or theories cuz I only have one and I got it from another post.

We also have so many loose ends, like the Cohort, Janus, the Fey, Thule, the Princes of Hell, Mother Hawthorn... It'll all get cleared up in TWP. Sorry I can't elaborate, because I have no idea what could be done about these!

Our main heroes, Dru and Ty and Kit, are going to be so powerful! I'm taking a wild guess when I say that they'll probably have powers extra to what they already have as Shadowhunters, but this is just guessing. No doubt about one thing though, they're going to be the Big Three in TWP.

And then there's Lucifer, the big daddy of demons and all problems in general. In a post that I reblogged, there was a theory that says that Alec survived the Svefnthorn because of Lucifer, and that somehow it would give Lucifer control over Alec.

Wdym TWP isn’t gonna be a princess diaries au where Kieran kidnaps Kit to teach him the etiquette and politics of faerie so that he is able to take on his role as first heir and unite the courts against the big bad so Kit has a full faerie makeover (eyeliner, puffy shirt, leather pants, and all) by the time he reunites with Ty. Ty was sent to find and protect the first heir by the scholomance and so when he reunited with Kit he has to figure out how he fits into the Life of the New Kit.

Meanwhile Ash has finally got the guts to runaway from home (his mom thinks he was kidnapped again) so Ash goes with Janus into New York one day and then splits from him around the institute where he bumps into Dru and Thais (who were leaving after visiting the institute after the Academy) and so they steal a car (Dru has just learned to drive) and go on the run roadtripping across America to LA. Ash gets to have all the great American road trip experiences. Until The Seelie Queen’s people finally catch up with them to bring Ash home to marry his betrothed.

And who is his betrothed? None other than our Kitstopher Herondale. Because the Seelie Queen know that to save faerie they need to unite the courts but she isn’t gonna give up any power without gaining some, so she only agrees to align the Seelie Court with High King Kit but only if her son Ash gets to become High Queen.

So Ash and Kit are going to get married, only two certain Blackthorns have objections to this. (Dru is in faerie now too bc when the Seelie Queens soldiers came for Ash, Ash said he would go peacefully as long as she left Dru and Thais alone) but ofc Dru&Thais are attached to Ash now so they followed him back to faerie soon after. Ash and Kit are allowed to invite their mortal family. It’s the second Herondale-Morgenstern wedding of the year after Jace & Clary’s.

Ash & Kit have their enemies to bromance arc during the betrothal period and they are willing to do this for the sake of faerie (even if their hearts belong to a Blackthorn). Kieran is a proud father.

Only the marriage gets interrupted before the vows because Janus has killed the Seelie Queen and then Jaime suddenly appears out of nowhere and kills Janus.

So suddenly Ash become Queen of Seelie and he’s will to work with Kit & Kieran to save faerie and the shadow world.

And they all live happily ever after

Kit abdicates as High King as soon as he can to follow Ty around the globe uncovering supernatural mysteries with him. He makes Ash his heir so Dru and Ash become High King and High Queen of Faerie and in Ash’s place Helen becomes Queen of Seelie.

And if twp isn’t exactly like this …

So based on Fourth Wing and Zodiac Academy, here are the bare bones of the Academy Verse!

The fae are divided into two types based on ideology.

Seelie - help those who need it, defend their own, work with others against existential threats. (Think Acotar courts, and throne of glass kingdoms)

Unseelie - Survival of the fittest, they are insuluar, their help comes with a price.

The Unseelie have a renowned academy called Domandiel, those fae of either philosophy can attend. Those that do and graduate are ruthless and hone their power in ways those who don't attend can never match (Rhysand, Xaden, Nesta)

Domandiel has four houses based on the elements.

For muses with not elemental magic, here's kinda how I've roughly broken it out:

Healing others /hurting others - Earth (growth, decay kinda connection)

Seers, Daementi - Water (dreams, deeper into power unlocks things)

Light - Fire (self explanatory), shadows too? Idk

Lighting - Air (storm connection)

Domandiel is very survival of the fittest. Like the only rulers are no murder and assault 👀

There is an academy for those who have Daglan/Asteri blood - Scholomance thats more geared toward scholarly, academic approach to magic and magic manipulation.

Mild Spoilers for Zodiac Academy

Within the Domandiel school verse, there are twins who recently came to the academy. They are daughters of the late Unseelie/Dark Fae King and Queen who were killed 17 years who.

The school is ruled by the Heirs, four male students who would have inherited the throne (their families were part of the council that helped the royals) had the twins not existed.

And the twins are just relentlessly bulled by them.

Mostly I'd love to explore how the other characters would react? Bc like would they help the twins, the Heirs?? The twins father was apparently very cruel to the Unseelie Fae he ruled so....

We already have Nasha Maduabuchi, Rayan Maduabuchi's sister, who was mentioned as the girl that Anush likes, there is probably someone that Thais or Dru likes at the Academy because they didn't use the love potion and there was Hazel, but Cassandra said that she won't show up

 In the past you said that Dru would have a group of friends, but you didn't want to say much because you were far from TWP, now that you've started writing, have you thought about this group (if it was maintained) could you talk a little about it, if there will be Any notable characters? and do Ty and Kit have a group of friends or colleagues? Even if they are not important in the narrative of the story, could they have appeared or been commented on in some chapter, a chapter about Ty in Scholomance and Kit in Devon?

Hi Vanessa! I totally get that you want to know everything about what happens with Kit and Ty and Dru in TWP. All I can say is that in the current draft of LKOF, neither Ty nor Dru nor Kit spends much time at school or home at all. We may meet some people they know at school, and hear about their lives before the beginning of the events of TWP. We do see other students at the Academy with Dru, and we know about Anush and Thais and even Kit's maybe-a-werewolf ex, and may hear about some of the other people Kit and Ty have encountered in the passing years, but they are not important in LKOF. Like you said, aside from Anush and Thais, they may get commented on but that's about it.

Marina: I know TLKoF is a long way off, but just out of curiosity, will Kit and Ty's romantic advance be worked on from the beginning? we might have their first kiss on TLKoF.

We might. You never know. I will say both of them know these are romantic feelings they have, not confused friendship feelings or something, and that yes, this is a romance pretty much from the beginning. For any of you that have read romances, which I'm going to guess is 100%, we all know that takes many different shapes. :)

Josué: Hey, Cassie! I'd like to know if Mina will have some kind of power like James and Lucie. She has Tessa's blood after all. And we know that Mina is too young in TWP, but there is a short chance that one day we meet her power? Thank you for your time! I love your books.

You never know! She is still quite small in TWP. Also, there is the question of the fact that Belial no longer exists and when he disappeared, Lucie and James power went with him. Now, Tessa still has some of her power so whether she passes anything along to Mina at all is to be seen.
