Something that I feel like is ignored by this fandom is the fact that Percy is canonically suicidal.

Like, off the top of my head, I can think of three times when he wished that he could drown/ thought about letting himself drown, and idk it feels really under acknowledged?

I have more thoughts but i don’t have words for them.

**Gratitude Post**

There have been consistent folks that have been my sounding board through this process. There have been folks that are there when I need them the most...Those folks know who they are. I appreciate your patience, your insight, your feedback, and above all,your friendship.

When it feels overwhelming, like I am being isolated, it helps to remember that I am not special. People go through this (and much worse) on a regular basis. Gratitude keeps me check. Humility keeps me in line. Acceptance helps me move forward. years later, as Annabeth's clinging to Percy, who's using all his strength to protect her, to keep her out of the pits of hell, and she looks up with tears in her eyes as she whispers to Percy, "I guess this is payback for the Arch, huh?"

And Percy shakes his head, clings harder to the cliff.

"Let me go, Percy," Annabeth begs.

"No!"

"Please." She can barely hear her voice, but Percy does. He always seems to.

"I just got you back, I can't let you go again," He says, fingers tight around her wrist.

She nearly sobs.

"I'm gonna fall, Seaweed Brain, just let me go!"

She sees his face as he runs through the scenarios, a habit he had picked up from her.

She sees his face set in determination, suddenly much paler than it already was.

She sees what's coming before any of the others.

Percy turns, and shouts at Nico, "Lead them to the other side, Nico! Do you understand?"

Nico, frozen, simply nods, understanding far too well what's about to happen.

Percy looks at Annabeth, and she sobs. His grip on her tightens, as his grip on the ledge loosens. "If you have to fall," He says, words packed with things unsaid but heard loud and clear, "I'm falling with you."

He lets go of the ledge, and the two cling to each other as they plummet into darkness

"The chimera is the demi-god killer. Someone has to stay back to slow her down and buy everyone some time."

I am filled with anxiety today. I would have hoped to amass an even greater following, but my relevance seems to have abandoned me some time ago. I don't receive any support from any but my sisters. I live in a state that is so developmentally stagnant that it hasn't only stopped but has begun to regress. I've always mentioned to people that Saint Louis was a less than progressive city. It is technologically and culturally incompetent. It seems that it's major export are individuals who are overly enthusiastic in celebrating white privilage and entitlement.

Got to check out the Saint Louis getaway Arch and its Museum today. It was really really cool. I would recommend checking it out and looking at it

I know it’s not the usual drawings and stuff I post on here, but I think it would be a good idea to post this, just for memories. I also wanted that Squirrel plush at the store, but I didn’t get it. Maybe next time when I come back to it.
