A collage I made of Queen Nymeria of Dorne's fashions
During the 5th century AD, 1000 years before the events of GOT series, the Rhohynar Empire began to take form after the fall of the Valyrian Empire.
Nymeria is a Princess of the Rhohynar who led fleets in her conquest of Dorne, and thus becoming founder of the Martell dynasty in Dorne and first Martell Queen of Dorne.
I imagine her fashions having nods to the fashions of Tariq Ibn Ziyad ( leader of the Islamic conquest of Hispania ), Fatima Al Fihri ( founder of the first university in the world, University of Al Qarawiyyin ), Al Khayzuran ( Abbasid Empress and mother of Caliph Harun Al Rashid ), and Ismat Ad Din Khatun ( first Ayyubid Empress and Saladin's chief wife )

Also Oberyn loves ALL of his 8 daughters. ALL. It didn't matter to him if they were ' bastards ', they are amongst Princesses of Dorne and Oberyn claimed them as amongst successions of House Martell
And in the GOT series, Ellaria literally poisoned Myrcella ( who frankly has nothing to do with Oberyn's death despite being Cersei's death ).....which also inadvertently caused the brutal deaths of Ellaria and ALL of Oberyn's daughters ( under the hand of Cersei )
I don't blame Ellaria's rage over Oberyn's death. But poisoning Myrcella who has nothing to do with this? SHOCKING
Oberyn would be OUTRAGED and disappointed by this
At least Book Ellaria has enough sense to cease any form of revenge of the Martell fleets to the Lannisters in tow as a way to stop ' the never ending cycle of vengeance ' ( or smth like that ) and helped the Martells, Ullers and Daynes to flee from Cersei's rampage of Dorne. And yes, Ellaria and Oberyn's daughters all survived Cersei's rampage of Dorne in the GOT books. The Martells in tow fled to the Rhohyne, the Ullers in tow to Ghis, and the Daynes to Skahadazhan ( which has nods to Persia - I think )
I remember daemon stans used to say how oberyn is the same as daemon
And I all have to say is oberyn go after people that can fight back and kill adults that can fight back
Oberyn??? The same as Daemon????? Revolting. Insulting. Out-fucking-rageous.
Oberyn would never hurt a child for their parents' sin. None of the Martells would, look how they all love Myrcella. Oberyn wants to kill the Mountain and Tywin, which is more than justified considering the horrors they committed.
I just. I can't. Daemon stans can choke. These people need to keep the Martells' names out of their mouths.
Also Oberyn would destroy Daemon with his left-hand on a bad day.
#oberyn martell#daemon#daemon is.......yeugh#yeah im starting to not like him now#OBERYN AND HIS DAUGHTERS DESERVE BETTER#ellaria sand

So in the GOT series, Sansa is more often seen wearing Westerosi fashions
Now I'm beginning to imagine Sansa in Valyrian fashions, since she got with Jon and all
I can also totally imagine that several of those female Valyrian allies/friends she made in tow began to recommend Valyrian fashions to Sansa
And then Sansa came to gradually dress in several Valyrian fashion elements, since she got with Jon and all
Sansa came to sometimes enjoy dress in Barlaeris furs and crystals, Velaryon oceanic fashion elements and Pearls, Macklyn Phoenix themed fashion elements and gemstones, Valtigar leather cloaks and ornate robes, and such
In fact, I came to draw several of those Valyrian fashion styles from the 6 Valyrian houses that joined Aegon I Targaryen's conquest of Westeros, that I can totally see Sansa wear
First, a drawing of Sansa in a Barlaeris era of Eileanas Point fashions
The House Barlaeris was one of the 40 dragon lord households of Old Valyria, that have several seats in the North of Old Valyria, until the Doom Happened. Then the House Barlaeris fled to Mossovy where they lived until Aegon I Targaryen called them up to join him on his conquest plan in Westeros - and the Barlaeris members in tow eagerly accepted it. With their hippogriff fleets, they came to rule Eileanas Point in the Northeast of The North, and soon formed formidable ties with House Stark
I can totally see House Barlaeris fashions came to have some nods to Ancient Greco Roman, Ancient Etruscian, Medieval/Renaissance Slavic, and Medieval/Renaissance Scottish fashions
Next, Sansa in a beautiful Velaryon Era Braavos attire, with Pearls and a dress made of Essarian silk.
The House Velaryon is originally one of the Great Houses of Essaria, who joined Lysandros III of Essaria's conquests around several parts of Essos. The House Velaryon came to found the Velaryon Dynasty of Ghis. Ever since Julaerys Targaryen And Thalassea VII Velaryon got together, the House Velaryon soon also has several seats in the South of Old Valyria
Before the Doom, the first Velaryon Emperor of Qarth, Corlaeyos I Velaryon ( who has some nods to Constantine the Great ), a descendant of both Targaryen and Velaryon lines, founded the Velaryon Era Qarth. During the Doom, the rest of the Velaryons in tow all fled to Qarth, where they stayed until a Dothraki descent invasion on Qarth happened. Then they moved to Lys and lives amongst House Rogare ( another one of the 40 Dragon Lord Old Valyrian households ) over there....until Aegon I Targaryen called them to join his conquest on Westeros. They soon ruled Driftmark for centuries until Tywin's rampage on the Houses Targaryen and Velaryon happened. Thus, the House Velaryon moved to an island near Braavos for security, until Daenerys called them to join her conquest.
After the wars of Wolves and Lions, the House Velaryon founded a new Velaryon dynasty in Braavos
And then, Sansa in a gorgeous Macklyn Era of Bay of Dragons attire, with gold jewelry and a purple silk Ottoman/Renaissance Italian inspired robe and a shimmering lavender sheer veil attached to her hair
The House Macklyn is also one of the 40 Dragon lord households in Old Valyria that have several seats in West Valyria.....until the Doom happened. Then, they fled to Mereen where they lived until they joined Aegon I's Conquest of Westeros. Then they ruled the Dornish Marches until during the War of Wolves and Lions, where the House Macklyn helped the Houses Martell, Uller and Dayne flee from Cersei's rampage on Dorne to The Rhohyne, Ghis and Skahadazhan respectively.
Later on, after Daenerys' demise, they founded a new dynasty in the Bay of Dragons ( which I think has nods to the Aegean Sea regions )
I can totally see House Macklyn fashions came to have some nods to Ancient Greco Roman, Byzantine, Medieval Catholic Spanish, Medieval/Renaissance Italian, and Ottoman fashions
And then, Sansa, in a gorgeous green and black Valtigar Era of Westerlands dress and gold jewelry
The House Valtigar are amongst the 40 dragon lord households of Old Valyria, with several seats in Northwest of Old Valyria, until the Doom Happened. Then they moved to Pentos, and then came to rule Valtigars Rest amongst the mountains of Westerlands.
They soon became amongst House Lannisters' greatest rivals during War of the Wolves and Lions, even managing to get Tyrion to spy for them for years ( Even before he jumped ship to join Team Daenerys until the KL Massacre caused by Daenerys ) after helping him nurse from his injuries from a great fall in Valtigars rest ( and no Lannister in tow helped him. Poor Tyrion ). By the time the Houses Lannister and Baratheon fell, the House Valtigar founded a new dynasty in Westerlands, and they are way more popular with the Westerlands people in general than the House Lannister ever are.
I can totally see the House Valtigar fashions to come to have some inspos from Ancient Greco Roman, Medieval Italian and Medieval/Renaissance English fashions
And then, Sansa in a gorgeous Celtigar Era Claw Isle, with several elements inspired by Medieval Alpine and Ancient Phoenician fashions
The House Celtigar was amongst the Great Houses of Essaria, who joined Lysandros III of Essaria in his conquests. They came to rule Tyrosh and founded Celtigar dynasty of Tyrosh. Then after the whole Valyrian conquest of Tyrosh ( which was some years before the Valyrian Reach wars ), that conquest ended with a truce in arms between the House Celtigar and those Valyrian fleets. And so, House Celtigar came to have several seats in the East of Old Valyria....until the Doom happened
Then, the House Celtigar fled to Volantis where they lived until they joined Aegon I's Conquest of Westeros. And they soon came to rule Claw Isle, which was an island between Dragonstone and The Vale. The House Celtigar soon have formidable diplomatic ties with the House Arryn.
I can totally see House Celtigar fashions to have some inspos from Ancient Greco Roman, Ancient Phoenician, Olden Tunisian, and Medieval/Renaissance Alpine fashions
Finally, Sansa in a beautiful black and red Byzantine attire
Now, Jon and Sansa came to gradually wear some more Valyrian elements after Daenerys demise and such. And since Sansa becomes Consort of a Targaryen descent, she came to gradually wear some more Valyrian fashion elements
In the Dance of Dragons, the other 5 Valyrian households ( and the House Rogare )side with Team Black
In War of Wolves and Lions, they came to join Daenerys' conquest and Team Daenerys later on formed an alliance with Team Stark. Daenerys' betrayal on Jon and Sansa and the burning down of KL also caused ALL of Daenerys' Valyrian allies then and Tyrion to rage quit her, cuz sadly, Daenerys becomes not that much different from Cersei Lannister or Alicent Hightower

A collage of Rhohynar Fashions in GOT Universe
Since the conquests of Princess Nymeria of the Rhohyne have nods to the Islamic conquests across Middle East, North Africa, and some parts of Central Asia, South Asia and Europe, The Rhohyne has nods to Arabian Penninsula
The Rhohynar are an intrepid people, filled with generations of desert trekkers that can survive in scorching hot climates.
Their fashion defo has nods to Ancient/Olden Arabian fashions - with turbans, veils, hijabs and such

Rachella Tyrell - First Queen of the Macklyn Era Bay of Dragons
Rachella is the 2nd of the 4 offsprings of Mace Tyrell and Alerie Hightower. She is the younger sister of Lyonel II Tyrell, and older sister of Margaery Tyrell and Loras Tyrell
Born as a Princess of The Reach, she later on became married to Malachai Macklyn, a late Lord of the Dornish Marches. Their dynamic has some parallels to that of Luthor x Olenna in spades. Together they have 4 children
During the War of Wolves and Lions, Rachella and Malachai found themselves in a complicated power struggle of Stormlands with Baratheon Branch 1 ( led formerly by Joffrey Baratheon ), and the House Macklyn were very in it with the Tyrells in tow on the bait trap of poisoning Joffrey.
After the tragedy of Green Sept Massacre, the House Macklyn soon turned to House Martell for alliance and security, and later on the Macklyns in tow came to help the Houses Martell, Uller and Dayne to flee to The Rhohyne, Ghis and Skahadazhan during Cersei's rampage on Dorne.
The House Macklyn took refuge in the Rhohyne with the Martells in tow there. But there is still much work to be done to defeat Team Cersei. So Rachella and Malachai entrusted the Martells in tow to care for their young children, while they joined Team Daenerys in seeking justice over what happened to House Macklyn
It was during the allyship of Team Stark and Team Daenerys then did they interact with Sansa more ( they didn't interact with her much when Sansa was in KL cuz they were so busy with the whole power struggle thing in Stormlands ). Sansa also becomes a good friend to Rachella, and Jon becomes a good friend to Malachai
After the fall of Team Cersei, Malachai and Rachella have an emotional reunion with their kids in the Rhohyne. Later on the Housr Macklyn came to rule Bay of Dragons.
Rachella is a lady of great wit and charisma. Similarly with the Boleyn sisters, Rachella and Margaery have a rather close dynamic as friends, allies and sisters, and helping each other in any way they can in power brokering and such.
Rachella grieved for the deaths of Loras and Margaery and can't forgive herself for being unable to save them in time for some time.
She is also a statuesque beauty with long, dark brown hair, rosy colored skin and golden eyes. Malachai described her as ' the most beautiful lady Westeros has ever seen. '
As for Lyonel II Tyrell, he and his family in tow helped take care of Olenna in her final years. And after Olenna died, Lyonel II Tyrell becomes new King of the Reach, and he and his family in tow are committed to help repair The Reach after the War of Wolves and Lions
Also, ALL of the other former members ( including Tyrion, Rachella, Malachai, etc ) of Team Daenerys then soon rage quit her and left her to help those refuges as Daenerys commenced that KL Massacre and such.

Rachella Tyrell's fashion evolutions part 2
Refugee in the Rhohyne
After the House Macklyn helped the Houses Martell, Uller and Dayne flee from Cersei's rampage of Dorne, the House Macklyn took refuge in the Rhohyne with the House Martell
During that time, she wears several Rhohynar fashions mixed with Valyrian and Reach fashion elements - sometimes wearing splashes of yellow and orange to show her allegiance to the Martells in tow, some other times wearing splashes of purple, gold, blue and/or green, to show her status as a Great Lady of House Macklyn, and also never forgetting her roots in The Reach.
Queen of Bay of Dragons
After the fall of Team Cersei, the House Macklyn became new rulers of the Bay of Dragons and founded a new dynasty there
Since the Bay of Dragons have nods to the Aegean Sea regions, the Bay of Dragons soon have a mix of Olden Italian, Byzantine and Ottoman influences ( since it becomes an important trading point between Ottoman regions and Venetian Republic by around the 14th century )
Naturally, being Queen of such an important trading place, Rachella came to dress in a mix of Ottoman, Byzantine, Medieval/Renaissance Italian, Spanish and French fashion elements
