⚾🎾 25f looking for something kind of out there, but where are my underrated sports anime fans at! i'm looking for anyone to roleplay diamond no ace or the prince of tennis with me. i'm very much open to anything because beggars can't be choosers, but the characters i'm the most interested in writing are miyuki and furuya for dna and atobe and shiraishi for tenipuri (though there are so many people in that series, i could make a whole list here). but if you're not into those two, i'm also looking for haikyuu roleplays (really craving atsumu/hinata, kenma/hinata and bokuto/akaashi rn, with the character i'd play in bold). i write in 3rd pov and i'm not picky about length at all, so hit me with your worst. if interested, like this and i'll come find you!

I did consider Huang Shaotian from 'The Kings Avatar' but said no bc lololol i'm not a gamer, this would be very difficult for me. I love his energy though. I probably forgot who else.

There was another Gintama OC Kyoko... don't remember the last name, Ayame Toriumi (Prince of Tennis oc), a Hakuoki oc named Hotaru, a Heart no Kuni no Alice OC Tamantha. There was also a Yu Yu Hakusho Demon OC named Kira. All of these were from my forum days. There are more... but I don't remember the names anymore. For trivia, I don't remember names, but there was an OC for Saiyuki Reload. There was another One piece OC. I also had an Ouran Highschool host club OC... maybe two of them. There were two Naruto OCs. Had an OC for Soul Eater. That's all that comes to mind now.

WOULD WRITE AGAIN:

The Forum OCs are retired and I probably won't ever write them again. Mako Jun, I'd probably have to brush up on every now and again when the mam of his husband Atlas pops in to chat. (Every few years kekw) We just chat about how we miss the DA RP group and how things are going. She still rp's on DA a lil bit but now RP as their kids! Other than that, if I retired a muse officially, I had reasons for it. The only one I'd write again would be Tarras if we finally got someone who would pick up translations again and we finally got his backstory.

You Can't Stay Blind - (SuperWho (SPN/Doctor Who)) - the Eleventh Doctor runs into Crowley who's wearing a too familiar face

In the Pasture of a Vale (Supernatural) - Dean runs into Adam and Ben five years post-season 5 (written back in 2010)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

 I think I always end up with a kind of mixed emotion ending like Best Laid Plans or Our Soulmate Academia, so it's difficult to remember the truly happy ones. The most recent happy ending would be The Mystery in the Fog (ACD!Holmes) where Holmes and Watson end up at the same secret wedding of an underground queer club they're both members of unbeknownst to each other and have some revelations

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Sometimes I do. The most infamous incident was the time I wrote a fic speculating on who Castiel's vessel might have been before I got to Jimmy's episode in my binge watch back in the day. The reviewer went into gruesome detail on how I was going to burn in Hell for my fic. It was unreal. I just deleted the fic and then went on to write several more SPN fics as you do.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I've written smut a handful of times for fics and more often than that for RP since that's part of the RP culture I fell into in university. Most of my smut fics have been orphaned now, but the one that remains is Swallow My Fang at Night Island (Interview with the Vampire (AMC)) I approach smut like I approach fight scenes so I can keep track of the flow of action. I keep my own personal kinks out of it and try to write a scene I think the audience would look for instead

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I've written 15 crossovers. I enjoy them tbh. In terms of plot, the craziest one I wrote was Distortion (BBC Sherlock/My Life in Film) where Jones was hired to play Moriarty and things get way too real. In terms of titles crossed over, the craziest one is probably The Hokage (Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle/Naruto)

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes, ages ago. It's why I'm my own beta reader or Kitty Britpicks me because I can trust her

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I had some requests but I've never been alerted to the final products

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

My brother and I regularly cowrote fics together when I was in high school and he was in middle school. If you ever read a Trigun script-based crack fic in the 00's with the phrase "Love and peace! Doves and geese! Change the world!" or "Another carnival ride with cotton candy," that was us.

14. What’s your all time favourite ship?

I don't think I actually have one because I'm a multi-shipper and I have so many favorites. That said, it might be inuyasha/Kagome since I always had an Inuyasha fic in rotation (usually more than one though) from 2001 - 2007 or so. Unfortunately they've all been lost to time. According to my AO3 relationship toggle in the filters sidebar, it's Destiel (7) and Devil's Minion (7)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

I have a BnHA fic from before we learned what Hagukure's powers were where she sent Class-A and Aizawa back in time to Yagi's high school years to do a kind of Tenchi in Love (1996) type of plot where they had to stop a time traveler from murdering Yagi. I wrote quite a bit of it but it stalled on me when Midoriy and Nana interacted and I wasn't completely sure how to get that to work

16. What are your writing strengths?

The most consistent thing I get complimented on are my fight sequences, which is why it's sad I lost all my IY fics because I wrote so many fights for them

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

My memory is a sieve and some of the holes are too big

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I've done it before because I was a weeb and it was a trend in the 00's. Not sure I'd do it again now that I've matured past that.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Technically fairytales. I retold Cinderella when I was so little my mom had to write it down for me because I couldn't write yet. I drew pictures to go with the narration

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

The Land Across the Sea (Black Clover/Boruto) - Boruto ride a tsunami to Clover Kingdom and the knights have to take him back home, which is also Yami's homeland.

I got the idea for this fic when a friend and I were talking about what we'd want the Black Clover movie to be about when it was first announced. Then I took my idea of Yami getting to return to his homeland and made it a crossover because I like the idea of Yami and Naruto knowing each other from back in the day.

I've been utterly failing to fulfill my fandom role as an R&Rer recently so I'm too mortified to tag six people, but: @opal-earrings , @resuri-art , and anyone else who sees this who feels like answering. (One of these days I'll get back to reading a proper amount, I swear!)

Je vais probablement faire court (on y croit pas), parce que mémoire de merde et tout ça. Je sais par contre que ça doit faire environ 18 ou 19 ans que je fais du rp. De façon très cassage de gueule (arrêts multiples, pas forcément accroché au tout début, retraits après expérience toxique).

C'est ma grande soeur qui m'a initié. D'où elle, elle connait ça ? Aucune idée. Ça s'est juste fait ainsi pour moi. Des passions communes. Vouloir faire comme ma soeur, tout ça. Je ne pourrais pas dire si j'ai TOUJOURS été sur Forumactif. Je sais par contre que je n'ai jamais fait de rp ailleurs que sur des plateformes similaires. Bref. Premier bail : un forum sur Prince of Tennis. Pendant une bonne partie de ma jeunesse, j'étais branché Anime Japonais et tout ça (alors qu'à l'adolescence j'ai fait un virage "BD am��ricaine" pour finalement avoir un "rien à battre de tout" depuis quelques années jpp). Il y avait littéralement que moi et ma soeur. Top délire j'vous dis pas. Avec des rps 8 mots....... ??? Le bon s'est fait ensuite, probablement en traînant sur des topsite ou j'en sais rien. Et je suis atterri sur des forums hyper sexualisés sur lesquels je crois... Ma façon de penser a grandit bien trop vite. Parce que je n'ai pas fuit ces forums, même si je n'avais pas l'âge d'y être. C'était toujours des plateformes aux avatars illustrés. Et y'avait des titres du genre Hentai RPG... Gokusha No Neko. Rien de bien glorieux, franchement. Mais ça va, j'ai survie le deal. J'ai même créé un forum de vampires et que sais-je où j'ai rencontré une bonne pote !! (avec qui je me tenais toujours IRL cool cool). Et aussi ma première rencontre toxique AF lololo. J'avais quoi ? J'étais trop jeune franchement. C'est aussi dans les forums illustrés que j'ai passé rapidement du 1 phrase par réponse à...... ÇA ENTRE MÊME PAS DANS 1 POST ??? Littéralement, on débordait les limites de nb de mots et on pouvait faire TROIS. POSTS. RPS. POUR UNE RÉPONSE. Comment j'ai survécu à ça ? À quel point on se prenait pour des grands écrivains ? Littéralement, ça devait être foutrement barbant à lire. LES FICHES INCLUES. Plus jamais. Pluuus jamais. Et va savoir. C'est flou. Je crois qu'à ce stade, j'avais déjà zieuté des forums réels. Et mon dernier avatar illustré était un fanart de Ash Stymest. Guess what. J'ai pris sa vrai tête et je suis apparu sur un forum university. Je ne crois pas que c'était Harvard, bien que j'ai trainé les pattes dessus un temps (plusieurs fois, rip). Selon ma meilleure pote, on estime que j'suis débarqué sur les vavas réels en 2018 ?? Et ma passion rpgique a pris un nouvel envol. Et à partir de là, j'ai fait des rencontres GÉÉÉÉNIALES (comme des mauvaises, mais on grandit hein). J'ai aussi peaufiné ma façon d'écrire. Mes inspirations. J'ai essayé plein de trucs. En premier, je pensais que je trouvais confort dans des contextes. Dernièrement, je trouve confort avec des partenaires que j'affectionne ou qui me passionne. J'sais que j'ai pas été l'membre idéal. Un truc de ghosting qui m'colle au cul. J'ai trainé dans plus d'50 rpg. J'suis épuisé, mais j'aime toujours autant ça ?? J'essaie d'me discipliner parce qu'à cause de vos idées toujours bien trop incroyables et folles; j'ai toujours des idées d'personnages qui naissent. ON RESPIRE OK. (j'suis impulsif, dans tout. snif). Bref...

C'est avec le rpg que j'ai compris qui j'étais. C'est fou. Que j'ai fait les rencontres qui m'ont fait grandir et m'accepter. Et voilà. Qui sait, j'vais peut-être trainer du pied sur d'autres plateformes. Mais jamais j'vais m'arrêter d'écrire. Bisous les loups <3

hey, je suis curieuse, comment vous avez commencé le rpg, vos tout débuts ?

parce que perso, j'ai pris des grooos détours avant d'atterrir dans la sphère rpg de forumactif (sous hide parce que c'est long).

Est-ce que quelqu'un a déjà entendu parler d'Edenya ? Je crois que ça existe toujours, c'était du high fantasy rpg illustré mais la plateforme était complètement unique, et la façon de rp était incroyablement différente. Mon perso a chopé la PESTE ... deux fois ... J'avais 13 ans et j'y suis resté trois, quatre ans, et pourtant je me souviens même pas du nom de mon perso.

J'ai appris là-bas ce qu'était le ttrpg, mais étrangement très peu d'entre eux faisait du forum rpg, à part une, et c'est elle qui m'a emmenée sur ma deuxième aventure cheloue.

Techniquement, c'était sur forumactif. Techniquement, c'était ma première réelle expérience de forum rpg comme on le connaît. En réalité ? Rien à voir.

Pour commencer, j'étais la seule joueuse pour les trois premier mois avec elle en seule admin. Cette fois je me souviens un poil plus de mon perso, Alix, mécanicienne des vaisseaux spatiaux, tester la syfy oui oui. "C'est dans l'espace" c'est aussi tout le contexte que j'ai eu avant la question "Qui est ton perso ?" donc on testait mon improv du haut de mes 16 ans clairement.

Malgré la confusion constante dans laquelle j'étais, c'était une expérience cool parce que en gros, le principe était que mon admin postait un contexte (ex: Alix reçoit une lettre de convocation à tel poste), je postais en tant qu'Alix, et l'admin continuait en tant que GM de l'univers avec ce plot créé autour de mon perso qui s'adapte constamment à mes choix. En soi, c'était bien plus proche de jeux de rôle type DND. Finalement, d'autres joueurs nous ont rejoint et je suis partie discrètement après quelques mois.

A partir de là, j'ai découvert les vrais forums rpg, mais les illustrés en premier. ET G PRIS PEUR OK.

Tout le monde parle des vieux forums où on écrivait que deux ou trois lignes, j'ai jamais connu ça ! Jusqu'à maintenant, les rps que j'avais fait étaient de la même taille qu'on fait aujourd'hui. Mais quand j'ai exploré de loin, j'ai toujours trouvé que des forums où les gens écrivaient des ROMANS, et j'exagère pas, les rps étaient 3 pages word minimum à chaque fois. C'est la raison pourquoi j'ai mis tant de temps à rejoindre les forums, je croyais que tout le monde écrivait comme ça et que je n'avais pas le niveau.

Finalement, j'ai trouvé Bazzart, et après some lurking j'ai rejoint un des fo les plus populaires à l'époque en test, croyant sincèrement que j'allais paniquer et partir et que c'était mieux de se noyer dans la foule si ça arrivait. Heureusement, le forum a crashé avant moi, peut-être deux semaines après ma validation. Mon perso était si mauvais mais j'avais good taste parce que c'était avec le fc d'Alexis Bledel ok, et elle avait des yeux de deux différentes couleurs parce qu'elle était possédée par un esprit et omg le cringe.

Le prochain forum que j'ai choisi était aussi très populaire, mais celui-là était debout depuis quelques mois, et cette fois j'ai pris un scénario pour être sûre de m'intégrer et boom je suis restée trois ans et des poussières sur ce fo, même finie par être admin dessus. (ps edit: aussi le seul perso que j'ai tué en partant, et je regrette rien fyi, mais c'est une histoire pour plus tard)

Après ça, c'était smooth sailing from there.
