A very self indulgent Weird and Unfortunate Things Are Happening AU that has very little to do with WAUTAH, lol.

This post:

First things first, WAUTAH is a RPG game free in Steam and itch.io. Very good, recommend it.

I have a fanblog for it here. It has. No fandom besides me, However. I also mantain (try to, anyways) the wiki (made the move from Fandom, because Fandom sucks ass).

Anyway! Quick game description, protagonists are a group of humans (Alicia, Miriam, Lamar, Dottie) that get possessed by Gods, called Outer Evocations (Elothu, Farudon, Ginyagu, Isanir). Thanks to the posession, the humans now have cool psychic powers. Long story short, they defeat the bad guys, the Inner Evocations, who destroyed the Evocation's home dimension, Derleth; and Miriam, Lamar, and Dottie's hometown, Daybreak; and wanted to take over Earth. The humans and Outers, having escaped the pocket dimension what was left of Derleth and Daybreak were in, managed to get back to Earth.

The game ends with the Gods and the humans parting ways, and it's implied the Outers may not be as good as they presented themselves. Anyway that's dumb and I don't like it, BUT thankfully the game gave me on a silver platter how to AU. See, you can find mysterious codes around the world, and if you insert those into a Machine near the end... Well. As it says, "Fate changed". This is mostly to get a couple of Bad Endings, BUT it's perf to make an AU.

So, in Soulbonded, a certain code was entered. And when the Outers and humans had escaped... Well. The Gods had no idea what to do, now that their home had been destroyed. They certainly had no memories of any plan. The humans felt bad for them, and hey, they're friends! And it's not like most of them have a home anymore, with Daybreak also gone. So, sure, they can keep sharing bodies. Surely, this will turn out fine. :)

Uhhhh I'm writing stuff about it sorta kinda yeah. Mostly, the group now lives in Easthold, Alicia's hometown, and they keep getting into Shenanigans. Because they have cool powers, and they're all a bit of hero syndrome, and meanwhile the Gods are basically getting to know a new world. Sooo yeah.

i used to love the metal band wintersun. ive basically listened to the album wintersun thru grade 9 and 10. because back then mp3 players had little space and mine only fit that one album. i listened to it daily for hours. for two years. yeah lol

i liked venom too i guess...

oh my fav emo band was the used. love love love. it really got me thru my worst teenage depression. i just listened to the album up and down for hours singing along whenever i was alone. so much sad

i listened to green day too, just that american idiot album. i was broke af as a teen and only had a handful of albums. my moms boss actually burned me a copy of american idiot! i was sooo happy that she did that. my mom used to clean ppls homes and i went with her a few times to help her and this lady had a really nice place and a big music ...anlage (lol) station? and she had green day and stuff and i told my mom how surprised i was that a middle aged lady was so cool. my mom told her next time and she burned me some cds :D so cool

my parents were usually v dismissive of me being goth and listening to metal music so this really meant a lot

And were backkkkk !!! If you haven't heard of this absolute fashion icon or the movie, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, go straight to disney plus and watch it ! Its cheesy, and I didn't know what to expect on my first watch but its quickly become one of my comfort movies and I watch it ALL THE TIMEE. And I mean that. SOOO without further a due, lets get into the analysis of Mary Elizabeth Cep (or better known as Lola Steppe)'s style :)

Lola is definitely unique, and her style isn't really for the more casual so even if you wouldn't wear any of these iconic fits in their entirety, these are great examples of places to borrow little pieces and add them to your every day to spice it up a little !

I should mention that this is the section where I normally do a bit of intro about the person whose style we're analyzing, but since this is a movie character, their personality is very accessible in the film/show they are in since it's self-contained anddd there is only enough background info that is necessary to the plot ! okayyy let's get started

Lola's style is eccentric, as is her personality, and her outfits follow my favorite formula which is whatever she thinks looks good. The writer of the film states that she is a Pisces, and every outfit shows depth and thought put into it and exemplifies good style knowledge that is essential to making good outfits (psst. need 2 know more abt that ? I have a post coming out ;)

Let's looks at some key details of Lola's outfits !

Accessories! One of the most important parts of these fits is the accessories ! Lola is a sucker for a good hat (as am I) and my favorite type of hat right now is the baker boy/newsboy hat we see here. The grommets make it even better (one of my personal fav details rn) She wears other types of hats too though, including baseball caps, beanies, and scarves tied around her head. Accessories normally make an outfit, but her use of hats, belts, outfit-appropriate necklaces, and jewelry, commonly seen in large silver hoops, and of course her signature bottlecap necklace (you can make it! see link below) totally make most of her outfits.

Layering (Jackets !!) Lola wears many types and builds of jackets in this movie, my favorites being her army green zip-up, feather-trimmed mesh duster, and don't even get me started on the amazing patchwork leather jacket ! The outfits without these layers are okay but often her jacket is a statement piece and totally makes the outfit She also employs layering in her earliest outfits, layering the fishnet top over the "I <3 NY" tee I'm sure you've already seen on Pinterest and her first day of school outfit that is topped off with a scarf-like shawl tied around her shoulders

Graphic tees/ Patterned tops Now if you hadn't seen the last image on Pinterest I'm 100% SURE you've seen this iconic photo. I love this outfit and the color story is dramatically made better by Lola's red and black simple graphic tee she wears with her green cargos that is dejavu to Freaky Friday (issue coming soon) This is the top she chooses from Stu Wolff's house nearing the end of the movie and colored metallic is so very early 2000's

Customization I absolutely LOVEE customization (issue coming soon, geez how many times have I said that now lol) and it is a big part of Lola's outfits. This handmade-looking NY Knicks jersey is to die for and I'd like to believe she made it herself, and you probably could recreate or do something inspired by with materials from the thrift ! As you can see in some of the previous photos as well she adds her own decorative flair to all of her things, like the pins on her bag in the bike pic and her customized name hat in the same image.

Dressing for the Occasion One of Lola's biggest fashions strengths, I think is dressing for the occasion/ situation she is put in. You can see this in her outfits for the "death" of her favorite band Sidarthur (not pictured, can't find for some reason), her audition for the school play (modern pygmalion), and this 80's workout fit she wore to dance practice. This makes her outfits seen on key and perfect for the event she is at, and she never seems out of place, just more dressed than the rest

Last Call !! Makeup and Hair !

Lola's hair is Lindsay Lohan's natural orangey-red, but more blonde on top making it seem a bit sun-bleached (doesn't make much sense in context but still very pretty). She doesn't do many hairstyles in this movie, instead opting for hats when there is detail missing on the top of her outfit. This being said her hair is down for 99% of the movie, which means it's in loose spiral curls (Let's be honest nobody's hair does that naturally) so a blowout is probably necessary.

Her makeup is veryy minimal, but you can tell she is wearing some. To me, her character seems like someone who would experiment a lot with her makeup looks, but if anything it lets the outfits shine even more. I would guess she is wearing nude or pinkish eyeshadow, maybe a bit of brown to darken right under her eyes and where eyeliner goes on top of the eye. I also see a pinkish blush (choose what's right for your skin and undertones :) and most likely mascara with black eyeliner on both waterlines. Highlight could be added to make the look more modern but make sure it's light !

Lola's character is very outgoing and I think we could all learn from her a bit. She wears all of her outfits with confidence, isn't afraid of what others think, and believes in herself and her abilities. She is eccentric, sure, but very fashionable and isn't afraid of failure. She always gives it her all and I think that is very admirable.

Hair is not that important, as it is in loose curls and down in 99% of the movie, and the color is also not too crucial but the original Lola's was sunbleached orangey red

makeup is minimal, neutral eyeshadow, mascara, pinky blush, and black eyeliner in the waterlines, maybe highlight to modernize it but LIGHT !

I want the titular character frm Jennifer’s body to be a killer in dead by daylight sooo bad she literally has a perfect killer origin story and the rich personality that makes her perf for dbd I want to be a Jennifer main... her power could be a ranged attack where she vomits the black goo frm the movie kinda like plague but it slows survivors down/has similar effects to like the clowns bottled gas shit, maybe some kind of movement ability that includes her “hovering” like frm the movie, and her Mori is her jaws unhinging and disemboweling the survivor (maybe after a sexy strip tease-y animation like in the film, I rly want Jennifer’s sexually predatory nature to come through in the game) and then looking like her human self, she drinks the blood from their abdomen with her hands almost like gently and classily like in the scene in the movie after she kills that goth dude. She could have a special perk exclusive to her and later teachable that allows her to kill male survivors (only) by her own hand after hooking them or collecting tokens somehow like devour hope, like maybe each time she hits a male survivor she collects a token and 5 are needed to activate the Mori allowing her to kill downed male survivors that have already been hooked. It kinda adds some of that cool rng beloved by the devs to Jennifer bc there could only be one male survivor and a perk slot is still taken up. Needy and chip and maybe Adam Brody cld be survivors and the school grounds with the overgrown abandoned pool house litcherally already looks like a dbd map lol. Her name could be the demon or the sacrifice or like the temptress or smt idk if it’s achievable for her attacks to be bites instead of the normal scratch/stab attacks but that would be dope. If not, she should be attacking w the Bowie knife they tried to sacrifice her with. I want an empoweringly sexy girl killer to main pls like can you imagine the skins ???? Her base skin should be the bloody black and white dress frm the dance and then she needs a skin with the white parka and red tights frm when she first came back to needy after she was sacrificed and they would almost definitely give her the school girl outfit frm the promotional material to please the weab gamers lol. I’m thinking abt all the funny achievements they could do too like when she uses another Mori offering or whatever and moris a female survivor you get one like “I go both ways” there are so many great easily used quotes like the funny, campy quality of jb would just translate so well into dbd... I like the idea of a sexy girl killer so much in large part because what makes a character like Jennifer so great in horror is that the sexy girl isn’t perceived as threatening and that aids her in luring her victims in and getting away with killing, not to mention the fact that the sexy girl is notably heavily victimized in horror and that’s a trope I love to see turned on it’s head. She would be kind of like legion in the sense that she can be mistaken for a survivor at first glance, esp since there’s no shortage of sexy female survivors in the game to confuse her with, lining up with the fact that the “sexy girl” is non threatening and deemed a helpless victim in horror, something that Jennifer as a character subverts and exploits to get away with killing.

I saw wreck it Ralph 2 and Netflix and it was mostly good! Like people have said as a character sequel it is sooo 😚👌 muah so good and it just made you feel more connected to the characters than before. Also the concept of online gaming as a sequel to the arcade video game movie is 😙👌👌👌 muah muah muah. And this shocked me but the way the internet was portrayed felt very natural to how it feels when you go to different webpages I just felt like I expected a complete gimmick and I actually didn’t hate what they did with that.

I just thought it was SOO boring and disappointing that the webpage spokespeople look exactly like little monochrome Inside Out characters. They just needed a new look and it would have changed everything for me. like maybe some hardware looking colors and wires or some binary code textures, just something techno and cool. second day playing Overwatch doing quick plays and i can definitely say i now have a main for all categories based on kills, less deaths, heals, defends, and victories!

Reaper - i got my first Play of the Game with him! (is there a way to rewatch it? i recorded it with my phone though but my phone wasnt so near the screen so it might not be too clear) when i did 5 consecutive kills with his op ultimate lool it was so lit since it stopped the payload from moving. and that helped our team reverse it, turn the tables, and win eventually. and i’ve done so many kills with him.. he’s so fun to use. i love the fact that the best way to use him is when near enemies so i literally just teleport behind or near them then attack. then when almost low health, retreat back or to a health station. definitely my fave!!

Bastion - my precious robot.. honestly protect him. love his character design and the fact he’s gentle. i’ve done many kills with him too. i also love how i can just hide in one spot and just shoot whichever i see even from afar and his self-heal is so helpful since it prevented me from getting killed many times and turn the tables around. and his ultimate is so fun to use too lmao like there were enemies who were contesting the area we’re supposed to defend and they really thought they got it but i just swooped in with my ultimate and killed all of them haha

Orisa - i love how her gravity pull can help you kill so many people instantly.. like i just set up a barrier in front then use the gravity pull then when all enemies get sucked in i just target the orb and i’ll get at least 2 kills. she’s a great tank! even tho her ultimate is more support.. but its good when you all are trying to push towards the enemy base together or defending a payload or area since it buffs your team. she’s definitely easy to use imo and fun to use too

Moira - i love how she’s both offense and healer despite being a support character which is amazing. since TBH i prefer not playing as Support cause i love doing the attacking and killing. but there are times NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY so i just do that (it’s very sometimes tho haha) but Moira manages to be the best of both worlds that there are times i just pick her when ive played the other roles in prev games to add variety. and the fact you have to damage enemies to replenish your ability to heal and it’s perf for me! cause like i dont wanna just heal, i wanna kill and damage enemies too! i even got voted 5 times in one game too for using her which is greatt. and her orb attacks/heals are so cool too and fun to watch

So Yeeeaahh! this game is super fun! now im gonna master these heroes and make sure i improve their career profiles before i decide to maybe practice using other heroes. but yeah, the best way to practice is definitely through Quick Plays.. and at this rate, i’ll probably purchase the yearly PSN membership haha if i could play at least 5 hours per month, then that’d be $1 per hour which isnt bad in the worst case scenario. ofc i’ll make sure to play more hours than that

but yeah, damn this game is sooo fun!!! and im defiitely getting the hang of it the more i play. and i’ve definitely made massive leaps of improvement which is greatt.. cant wait to be able to play competitive in a few months time i guess lol

The members always say he is rlly manly but on camera he acts cute and 10/10 appreciate it bc he is the cutest ever but only subtly… like he embarrassingly/shyly covers his face so cutely and gets angry so adorably where he just glares aw (he has also confirmed that he considers himself to be more cute than scary) woozi is a abbreviation of “our jihoon” which is the cutest asjkdhskl. He is also seventeen’s grandpa bc he is rlly not too hip at all but they try to help him out anyway! He also winks 24/7 lol. His voice is rlly clear and piercing like he often sings parts of the chorus and his voice draws you in idk it’s nice:) he trained for the second longest amount after scoops (5 years) so they’re super close bc they were together longer than the other membersLee Seokmin aka Dokyeom/DK - an actual ray of sunshine w the most incredible vocals like wow! He is svt’s “happy virus” and boy does he own it!! He is always smiling and laughing and making jokes he is the cutest I stg… He also has a more built figure physically and it’s hot as heck tbh. He, seungkwannie and soonyoung make up the “booseoksoon” trio which is basically the extra/mc/always laughing squad and they are such close friends it’s the cutest ever boo and hosh think he’s the funniest person in the world I love it!! Seokmin also puts a lot of pressure on himself bc he’s main vocal and I feel like he’s super underrated???? But he went on King of Masked Singer and I think he made it through two or three rounds? Anyway he did rlly rlly good (even tho honestly think he has way more potential than what he showed) and I hope it boosted his confidence bc he is incredible!! The judges assumed he was from an older group bc his voice was so mature eeeee!! HE IS SO LOUD OH MY GOD one time they said that the CEO could hear him practicing from the 4th floor while he was in the basement I- He is always the first person to make fun of himself and he doesn’t mind being the brunt of a joke as long as he gets people to laugh it’s adorable:)) He always brings up the mood and helps out the members whenever there is awkwardness w being filmed and such JUST SUPPORT THIS SUNNY BOY HE HAS SO MUCH LOVE AND JOY IN HIS HEART!!Kim Mingyu - the tallest bean on the block and svt’s “visual tree” at a staggering 190cm/6'1" (correct me if I’m wrong I didn’t look this up) but I’m p sure he has grown recently bc he is getting taller everyday I swear? He’s got some good rap mhmm~ But he is such a clumsy pup and the members always make fun of him but it’s okay bc he can take it (he has the best reaction so that’s why they do it) He is dropping things and tripping 25/8 and it’s the cutest thing! But “housewife ming” can legit do anything like he is a true man of many talents damn i.e. cooking, hairstyling, acting, cleaning… But he is so so pretty like who the heck allowed him to be this attractive?? Gyu goes from super visual savior to fluffy pup on the daily and it’s too much to handle… Idk he seems like he might be super cool and chic when you first see him but he is actually just a giggly fool always having a hard time… Mingyu is the only one in svt that I would call the “visual” (only bc he is officially the visual i think they are literally gorgeous okay!!) but he is actually rlly insecure abt it and only calls himself “aspiring visual” and it’s mostly bc of his dark complexion WHICH IS COMPLETELY FLAWLESS AND SO BEAUTIFUL STOP WHITEWASHING KIM MINGYU PLZ but i rlly commend him for being visual despite common opinions/standards on skin color in korea. A lot of people (okay most people) ship him and wonwoo (aka meanie) and I do too, don’t get me wrong, but my all time favorite ship is mingyu and minghao (aka gyuhao) bc same age, they act like they hate each other but are actually super supportive (one of my fave tropes blah) and idk they’re both just confused pups help me and w that transition…

Xu Minghao/Seo Myungho(kor) aka The8 (i never call him the8 ever srry b i don’t like it idk ah) - our “cool cutie” from northeast(i think) China with the most killer bboying skills i’ve ever seen in kpop! He now introduces himself as “The8 with infinite possibilities” and he has been growing more and more as an artist and a person I’m so proud of him!! He trained for the shortest amount of time (~1year+2months i believe) and he really struggled w Korean when he first started. Even after debut he was very quiet but he has been talking more and more lately and he has been doing so well!! Minghao is cute as heck but he is also (along w hannie) svt’s Resident Savage™ and the main usage of his Korean improvement has gone into calling out the other members w his incredible comebacks. Two of his favorite targets seem to be soonyoung and mingyu but he rlly doesn’t hold back on anyone (except maybe jun bc they are such good buddies bc china line and jun helps him w his korean asjkklfjls) But anyway he is an incredible dancer and singer and also rapper!! (give him more lines plz plz plz) vernon has been helping him w his korean rapping but he is already one lit mandarin rapper like damn… But minghao is the most supportive member of svt (hear me out) whenever they do broadcasts or radio shows minghao always gives thumbs ups/supportive smiles/high fives it is the purest thing and part of the reason I love him sm!!! He’s also super cuddly and is always touching/hugging the other members asjkltfasd. Sometimes he doesn’t quite understand a question and the other members help explain it to him it’s my favorite concept (it’s usually soonyoung or seungcheol but i’ve seen p much all of them do it) lately he has been getting more meme-y and idk how to feel but as long as he’s getting out of his comfort zone I am immensely proud of him:))

Boo Seungkwan (boo) - the other main vocal in svt and just generally the loudest and usually mc for the group. Boo has some of the most incredible vocals i’ve seen in my life and he sings probably my favorite cover duet of all time (the high note around 3:05 makes me emotional every time istg also their reactions are me) He’s so talented and his voice is so clear and nice and his RANGE! I could go on forever… To describe seungkwan in two words would be sweet and sassy… He is part of maknae/baby line but he’s always calling people out and bossing them around it’s hilarious. (he is generally hilarious tbh) Also he’s a huge volleyball program nerd it’s great (and possibly haikyuu!! but not confirmed) He’s commonly referred to as divaboo and the video just seungkwan things captures all his divaness perfectly 10/10 would rec! He’s also super english-y all the time probably bc he spends so much time w vernon which is great for us international fans whoop whoop. But back to him being sweet- even though he is definitely his own biggest fan (in the most adorable way omg) he is also svt’s biggest fan he always cheers on his members it’s so cute he’s so soft and good! He cares so much for the fans and he’s head of the Seventeen Fan Cafe (i think) and he’s great abt interacting w carats and all that fanservicey stuff:) He is also super underappreciated honestly support him bc he supports everyone else even tho he’s rlly insecure abt his looks and body even tho he is the most beautiful boo w THE BEST CHEEKBONES IN THE UNIVERSE HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE THINGS DAMN BOY

Hansol Vernon Chwe/Choi Hansol(kor) aka Vernon (bernonie) - One of the most well-known members of svt bc he’s half white and was also a child actor. He has some of the most lit raps tbh and i’m p sure every single one (or almost) has english in it lol. His mom is white and American and his dad is from Korea. Technically he was born in New York, USA BUT BUT BUT he moved to korea when he was five so he doesn’t remember it like at all and every host ever asks him abt it and he always has to say he is basically korean and JUST LET HIM LIVE but since his mom speaks english he is fluent in it (but he has said he is better at korean) He is super super visual and he gets more attractive every day like who the heckkk. Hansol is one of the more popular members so a lot of people would expect him to be outgoing (or even douchey bc he’s half white which is dumb yet it happens) but he is one of the quietest members and usually doesn’t speak up in interviews and such bc he’s kinda shy! BUT THIS DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NOT A MEME!! VERNON IS CONFIRMED THE MEMEIST MEMBER OF SVT ALONG W JOSHUA DON’T FIGHT ME. At this point he has even been dubbed “memesol” bc he makes the best reaction faces in recorded history dear god. He also finds literally everything so hilarious and definitely laughs the most whenever the other members do anything. But honestly he is a super cute, sweet pup who deserves a whole lotta love!! also kinda unrelated but one of my favorite posts of all time is dedicated to him i don’t even know…

Lee Chan aka Dino (MY SON) - I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START W THIS LIL BAB! Lee Chan is svt’s “small giant” maknae who is Michael Jackson’s #1 Fan™ and literal dancing machineeee! He has grown so much since debut i cannot believe and he is getting more confident MY BOY! Honestly his glow up should be some kinda world record bc oh my god it hasn’t even been two years?? AND HIS RAP HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH LIKE EVEN FROM JAM JAM TO OMG Vernon rapped most of jam jam but then in omg chan rapped all of it by himself!!!! ALSO EVEN FROM OMG TO HIGHLIGHT NOW HE TRANSITIONS FROM RAPPING STRAIGHT INTO SINGING WITH THE SAME BREATH I CANNOT BELIEVE!! But he is so creative and funny and full of energy!! He helps hoshi w most of the dances (i think he did most of the choreo for jam jam) and his stage name is dino bc when he steps on the stage he takes it over and becomes a big presence like a dinosaur which is so creative??? he also graduated high school a while back and then just too his entrance exams!! I’m so proud!! But he tries so hard to keep improving and he’s just so pure and has a complete heart of gold♥ He also aspires to be an mc and he works rlly hard to improve his skills on that front too! Chan is so incredibly talented, but again not a whole lot of people bias him which is crazy???? Bc he is so hansome and also my son?? also lowkey savage af But all the members love him a whole lot and he is their baby, even though he is now “an adult” but srry bun no one will probably ever stop calling him baby (esp jeonghan)
