Was reading The Magical Mimics in Oz and gotta say, love how Jack Snow wrote the dynamic between Scraps and Scarecrow, especially compared to how Ruth Plumly Thomas wrote them. Like…

RPT was always emphasizing how close the Scarecrow and Scraps are and how he finds her so funny and charming and what not. But with Jack Snow he’s just-

“Scraps. Can you NOT?”

I like to think that he and Nick had a huge fight about her offscreen and Scare kinda blames her for that.

think about Donna and photography again,,,,,,

Donna, my best girl Donna, who was brought back to life from other's memories of her, frankensteined together from these snapshots of other people's version of her. Donna who owes her life and existence to this capturing of her likeness, praying that their remembrance rings true.

Every photograph is reciprocal: I am who you see me as and this is how I see you.

She gives them back the gift of recognition.
