I have always been annoyed when people who defend team rwbys actions with ozpin go they are traumatized and are dealing with a guy who has been lying to them ( as if oz wasnt traumatized and his reasons for keeping secrets werent completely justified) and go people are being heartless for not defending them or they are just attacking them because they are women

Yes, the issue isn’t that Ozpin made mistakes, it’s that he’s the only one who is apparently not allowed to make mistakes. The rest of the cast has lied (Jaune), kept important secrets (Blake), hidden difficult pasts (Weiss), mistrusted allies (Yang), been too prideful (Pyrrha), stuck to and ridden out an idiotic decision (Ruby), and done what they had to in order to survive (Ren and Nora). Were their secrets and lies and bad decisions as big as Ozpin’s? No, but that’s largely the point. Ozpin’s task is quite literally a task of mythical proportions, a complex web involving the entire world’s safety and spanning thousands of years. There will, by definition, be sacrifices attached to his choices because it’s impossible to please everyone when working on that scale. One of Ozpin’s sacrifices here was pissing off the group. Something had to give. Choices had to be made. He chose to prioritize the world’s safety over the group’s personal emotions. We and the characters may not agree with that, but it’s certainly understandable. You can’t make accusations like, “Why didn’t you just trust a bunch of half-trained students you knew for a year with your darkest secrets and Remanat’s most dangerous information?” the same way we can make accusations like “Why didn’t you admit to the people you were supposed to be leading and keeping safe that you have zero experience in fighting grimm?” Everything has its own context and Ozpin’s context was complex as fuck---which, of course, no one (fandom or characters) want to acknowledge. They’d rather reduce the thousand moving parts, experiences, and justifications down to, “You should have just done the (supposed) right thing no matter how hard it was for you or how dangerous you thought it might be.” 

We can say the same thing to all the cast. Blake should have just gotten over her trauma and told Ozpin about the White Fang from the start. Yang should have gotten over her desperate need to be accepted by Raven and trusted Ozpin. Jaune should have never faked transcripts or at least admitted it sooner. None of that sounds very sympathetic though---because it’s not. It comes down to hypocrisy. The cast is allowed to be impacted by their trauma; Ozpin is not. The cast is allowed to make mistakes; Ozpin is not. The cast is allowed to lie; Ozpin is not. We saw the group do precisely what the God of Light did: demanding a literally impossible standard in the face of overwhelming odds to the point where he truly believes they’d all be better off without him. And when he takes his lies and his mistakes and he leaves? They get mad about that too.

The popular notion with RWBY Theorists is that Oscar is based off of Princess Ozma/ Tip. This is why I love the concept of Oscar being revealed as the original Ozma—His true reincarnation as the revival of his original form resurrected in Modern Remnant.

Just as how Tip was later revealed to be Princess Ozma—the rightful ruler of Oz, I believe that Oscar is Ozma’s true incarnate. Unlike the previous Wizards of Light who were the lives of other men that only Ozma’s soul was only paired too, Oscar is Ozma himself. The adolescent version of his previous form reborn in current time.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The war with Salem started with Ozma and I believe it would be fitting for it to end with him. Ozma was the beginning and Oscar is the end.

I really like this because it paints a pretty fitting twist. I quite dig the irony of Oscar worrying about losing himself to the Merge when the reality is that he isn’t destined to lose himself but be made complete. The Wizard persona is neither Professor Ozpin nor Ozma. Ozpin described himself as a culmination of his old self and the many men who sacrificed their lives for the greater good of humanity.

By my hunches, Oscar is just like Eriol Hiiragaizawa from Sakura Cardcaptors. In Sakura Cardcaptors, Eriol was one half of Clow Reed—the most powerful sorcerer in the world and creator of the Clow Cards. The other half of Clow Reed was Fujitaka Kinamoto —the father of our protagonist: Sakura Kinamoto. Unlike Fujitaka, Eriol retained all the magical power and memories of Clow Reed.

What if…Oscar Pine is just Fujitaka Kinamoto in this sense? What if…Ozma’s reincarnation was divided in two: body and soul? While Ozma’s soul was reincarnated and paired with the souls of many other men over the years, he never regained his original body. At least, not until his original form was revived in current Remnant as a 14 year old farm boy from Mistral named Oscar Pine?

for years now I’ve been saying Arkos was classic heroic romance tropes with Pyrrha in the classical male role and Jaune in the classical female role

and this is actually true in-universe, because Pyrrha parallels Oz and Jaune parallels Salem.

Arkos is paralleling Ozpin and Salem but better and not screwing up the way they did, with Pyrrha as Ozpin and Jaune as Salem

(the multiple scenes where ozma disintegrating in the exact same fashion that pyrrha nikos had disintegrated in at the end of v3

Sara was my bestfriend. On and off growing up we both had a crush on this guy and he flirted with the both of us occasiionally. As we arrive my best friend hops out the car and runs to hug him like she misses him so much and I am kind of just left in the backboards like whatever. So fast forward we drive to the garage and we smoke a blunt and decided  to go get pizza. While getting back into the car sara decided to sit in the back seat with him which might i add also had a carseat back there so there were only two little seats nxt to each other. So I just ignore it and drive with no passenger seat and while im driving these two are just playing touchy with each other and i dont really know what to think. So we get the the pizza place and they go inside to pick it up and are holding hands and so i call my cousin because I dont really know what to do I was about to explode. And so I calm down a little and they come back and we drive to their house and eat and while eating i gave her a look and was like sara stoppit ad she goes “stop what im sorry”.After while watching tv I am on the opposite side of the couch from them and they are cuddling under a blanket and i get uncomforatable so i go to her room and stay in there for approxiately two hours. And sara comes in and again says im sorry but again goes back out with him and starts cuddling and kissing. So I get frustrated and storm out side and yell im leaving get your stuff and sla the front door so hard i didnt even know i had all that power. I go in the car and still wait probably ten minutes for this fool and still have to drive him thirty minutes home. He sat in the back because he didnt know if i was gonna swing or not and i probably would have.And i dirve him home in the car silent for the whole ride.He did apologize and say thank you for the ride but I had nothing to say to him.

Looking back I just see how stupid and gullible and naive I was. I let them walk all over me. I should have not drove to get him in the first place I should have moved on. I should have not took him home that was me being nice because i knew he had no way home. I should have chosen my friends better because she was obviously NOT my best friend. And after this happened in time i did forgive them both again because of me being stupid and even though not in the same way later on in life they both ended up fucking me over again so that really just taught me that people dont change. I have never even explained how much that time hurt me it was kind of brushed off and it sucks because that is a big reason why I have trust issues with friends and guys like no it didnt ruin my life but I cared so much for these two and my kind heart was taken advantage of.

If I could give any advice I would honestly just say dont change your kind heart because of some heartless bitches, They know theyre heartless and probably flaunt that all the time. The only person who you need to be looking out for is you at the end of the day. Im just saying be aware of everything and be smart about your choices. If something isnt seeming right look further in the situiation. Talk and let it be known what will and wont be happening and dont hold your tongue. And yes still be nice dont become them just become smarter so you wont get hurt in the long run. Now you would not hear about that happeing to me it has made me stronger and wiser and more aware. But no matter how many times I may forgive someones actions and no matter if we are cool or not anymore I will always remember this and I will never EVER have one oz of trust for these two: my old best friend or this loser.
